1Radiofrequency ablation or microwave ablation combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization in treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma by comparing with radiofrequency ablation alone显示文摘Objective:To compare radiofrequency ablation(RFA) or microwave ablation(MWA) and transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) with RFA or MWA monotherapy in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:A prospective,randomized,controlled trial was conducted on 94 patients with HCC ≤7 cm at a single tertiary referral center from June 2008 to June 2010 at the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery,the Second Affiliated Hospital of Southeast University.The patients were randomly assigned into the TACERFA or TACE-MWA(combined treatment group) and the RFA-alone or MWA-alone groups(control group).The primary end point was overall survival.The secondary end point was recurrence-free survival,and the tertiary end point was adverse effects.Results:Until the time of censor,17 patients in the TACE-RFA or TACE-MWA group had died.The median follow-up time of the patients who were still alive for the TACE-RFA or TACE-MWA group was 47.5±11.3 months(range,29 to 62 months).The 1-,3- and 5-year overall survival for the TACE-RFA or TACE-MWA group was 93.6%,68.1% and 61.7%,respectively.Twenty-five patients in the RFA or MWA group had died.The median follow-up time of the patients who were still alive for the RFA or MWA group was 47.0±12.9 months(range,28 to 62 months).The 1-,3- and 5-year overall survival for the RFA or MWA group was 85.1%,59.6% and 44.7%,respectively.The patients in the TACE-RFA or TACE-MWA group had better overall survival than the RFA or MWA group [hazard ratio(HR),0.526;95% confidence interval(95% CI),0.334-0.823;P=0.002],and showed better recurrence-free survival than the RFA or MWA group(HR,0.582;95% CI,0.368-0.895;P=0.008).Conclusions:RFA or MWA combined with TACE in the treatment of HCC ≤7 cm was superior to RFA or MWA alone in improving survival by reducing arterial and portal blood flow due to TACE with iodized oil before RFA.Yongxiang Yi Yufeng Zhang Qiang Wei Liang Zhao Jianbo Han Yan Song Ying Ding Guilan Lu Junmao Liu Huaiying Ding Feng Dai Xiaojun Tang 2014Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2014,26,1:29

8Additive manufacturing of Ti-6Al-4V alloy by hybrid plasma-arc deposition and microrolling:Grain morphology,microstructure,and tensile properties显示文摘To address the problems of coarse columnar grains,inhomogeneous microstructure,and anisotropic mechanical properties of Ti-6Al-4V manufactured by wire and arc additive manufacturing(WAAM)and hybrid additive manufacturing with plasma-arc deposition,synchronous microrolling(HDMR)was examined in this study.HDMR leads to significant grain refinement and isotropy improvement.Unrolled additive manufacturing alloys show typical columnar grains,while the microrolled ones show a transition from columnar to equiaxed grains with the fraction depending on the microrolling force.The microrolling-induced formation of equiaxed grains is caused by both dendrite fragmentation and priorβrecrystallization in the subsequent deposition.Interestingly,the rolling force required for good grain refinement in HDMR is much lower than that in WAAM with subsequent cold rolling.Microstructure characteristics are present near the grain boundaries due to the recrystallizedαlamellae distribution.The width of the basketweaveαlamellae decreases with the increasing microrolling force.The yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of HDMR samples increase with a decrease in elongation anisotropy.This study shows that HDMR can effectively refine grains and improve the tensile properties of titanium alloys,providing a broad prospect for the rapid formation of large titanium alloy parts.CHENG Kui ZHANG MingBo SONG Hao LIU XinWang FAN ZiTian WANG GuiLan ZHANG HaiOu 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,4:0
9Improvement of Poplar Bark Extract on Physiological Characters of Lactococcus lactis in Intestine of White Feather Broilers显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to study the improvement of poplar bark extract on intestinal Lactococcus lactis of white feather broilers.[Method]Totally 450 Ross 308 white-feather broilers were randomly divided into five groups:control group,low dose group,medium dose group,high dose group,and antibiotic group(oxytetracycline hydrochloride).The feeding duration was 45 d.The probiotics were screened and isolated through homology,and the physiological and biochemical characteristics of chicken intestinal bacteria in different groups were compared to determine the properties of bacterial strain.The drug resistance,antibacterial ability,proliferation ability,acid resistance and bile salt resistance of isolated strain were tested,and a strain of L.lactis was obtained.[Result]The isolated L.lactis was sensitive to other drugs except natural tetracyclines,and there was no significant difference among the four groups except oxytetracycline group;as the concentration of extract increased,the inhibition of L.lactis against Salmonella sp.increased;the medium dose extract had the largest increase in the ability to tolerate the proliferation of L.lactis.[Conclusion]Feeding poplar bark extract will produce positive effects on the physiological characters of intestinal L.lactis in broiler chicken,which will provide potential probiotic strain for chicken production.Liu Guofang Zheng Guangyao He Pengfei Song Chunlei Yan Linlin Chen Ming Luo Guilan Liu Fu'an Zhu Haoyuan Qin Dongyu 2020Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2020,12,3:0
