1Cell-Mediated Immunity Imbalance in Patients with Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy显示文摘Decidual lymphocytes may mediate fetal trophoblast recognition and regulate maternal immune reaction and play an essential role in the maintenance of normal pregnancy. The aim of this study was to compare the percentage of T cells, natural killer (NK) cells and natural killer T (NKT) cells within decidual parietalis of normal pregnant controls (NP) and patients with intraheptic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP), and to investigate the production of interleukin-4 (IL-4), interferon-γ (IFN-γ) in the culture supernatant of decidual parietalis mononuclear cells (DPMCs). Compared with controls, the decidua parietalis from ICP were characterized with significant increased percentages of CD3-CD56+ cells, CD3+CD56+ cells, CD56+CD16+ cells, CD56+CD16- cells, CD56+NKG2D+ cells, and the significant decreased percentages of CD3+ cells, CD3+CD4+ cells. There were no differences found for the percentage of CD3+CD8+ cells, CD56+NKG2A+ cells between control and study group. In addition, the enhanced concentration of IFN-γ was presented in culture supernatant of DPMCs from ICP. 2Spatio-temporal analysis and simulation on shallow rainfall-induced landslides in China using landslide susceptibility dynamics and rainfall I-D thresholds显示文摘An empirical simulation method to simulate the possible position of shallow rainfall-induced landslides in China has been developed.This study shows that such a simulation may be operated in real-time to highlight those areas that are highly prone to rainfall-induced landslides on the basis of the landslide susceptibility index and the rainfall intensity-duration(I-D) thresholds.First,the study on landslide susceptibility in China is introduced.The entire territory has been classified into five categories,among which high-susceptibility regions(Zone 4-'High' and 5-'Very high') account for 4.15%of the total extension of China.Second,rainfall is considered as an external triggering factor that may induce landslide initiation.Real-time satellite-based TMPA3B42 products may provide real rainfall spatial and temporal patterns,which may be used to derive rainfall duration time and intensity.By using a historical record of 60 significant past landslides,the rainfall I-D equation has been calibrated.The rainfall duration time that may trigger a landslide has resulted between 3 hours and 45 hours.The combination of these two aspects can be exploited to simulate the spatiotemporal distribution of rainfall-induced landslide hazards when rainfall events exceed the rainfall I-D thresholds,where the susceptibility category is 'high' or 'very high'.This study shows a useful tool to be part of a systematic landslide simulation methodology,potentially providing useful information for a theoretical basis and practical guide for landslide prediction and mitigation throughout China.LI WeiYue LIU Chun Marco SCAIONI SUN WeiWei CHEN Yu YAO DongJing CHEN Sheng HONG Yang ZHANG KaiHang CHENG GuoDong 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,4:5

5Sodium Alginate/Carboxyl-Functionalized Graphene Composite Hydrogel Via Neodymium Ions Coordination显示文摘A facile method for the preparation of sodium alginate(SA)/carboxyl-functionalized graphene(G-COOH)composite hydrogel was developed. Based on the coordination ability of lanthanide ions to the carboxyl groups, a series of hydrogel derived from different ratios of SA and G-COOH was fabricated by neodymium(Nd^(3+)) ions coordination. A relatively uniform layered structure was recorded by SEM at the interior of SA/G-COOH hydrogel. Several parameters such as water content, swelling ratio(SR), tensile test and solvent resistance were also investigated. The SA/G-COOH composite hydrogel showed excellent mechanical strength, and the tensile strength of SA/G-COOH composite hydrogel reaches 53.72 MPa at high water content. 6A New Attempt to Obtain Bulk Nanocrystalline Steel显示文摘Bulk nanocrystalline steel sample was obtained in laboratory through refining of austenite grains and controlled rolling. Transmission electron microscopy micrographs show that some textures are evolved in the process of the treatment and two typical carbides are classified according to their size and location. 7Salt spray corrosion test of micro-plasma oxidation ceramic coatings on Ti alloy显示文摘Ceramic coatings were prepared on Ti-6Al-4V alloy in NaAlO2 solution by micro-plasma oxidation (MPO). The salt spray tests of the coated samples and the substrates were carried out in a salt spray test machine. The phase composition and surface morphology of the coatings were investigated by XRD and SEM. Severe corrosion occurred on the substrate surface, while there were no obvious corrosion phenomena on the coated samples. The coatings were composed of Al2TiO5 and a little α-Al2O3 and rutile TiO2, and the salt spray test did not change the composition of the coatings. The weight loss rate of the coatings decreased with increasing MPO time because of the increase in density and thickness of the coatings. The surface morphology of the coatings was influenced by salt spray corrosion test. 8Dimericbiscognienynes B and C: New diisoprenyl-cyclohexene-type meroterpenoid dimers from Biscogniauxia sp.显示文摘Dimericbiscognienynes B and C(1 and 2), two new diisoprenyl-cyclohexene-type meroterpenoid dimers,were isolated from Biscogniauxia sp. 71-10-1-1. Their structures, including the absolute configurations,were determined by spectroscopic analyses and ECD experiments. Meroterpenoids are special natural products that originate from mixed terpenoid-nonterpenoid pathway. As a member of meroterpenoid family, diisoprenyl-cyclohexene/ane-type meroterpenoids composed of two isoprenyl chains(C5 unit)and a cyclohexene/ane moiety(C6 unit), featuring diverse skeleton structures with wide range of bioactivities. In these reported diisoprenyl-cyclohexene/ane-type meroterpenoids, only three dimers were identified. 9Biosynthesis of clinically used antibiotic fusidic acid and identification of two short-chain dehydrogenase/reductases with converse stereoselectivity显示文摘Fusidic acid is the only fusidane-type antibiotic that has been clinically used. However,biosynthesis of this important molecule in fungi is poorly understood. We have recently elucidated the biosynthesis of fusidane-type antibiotic helvolic acid, which provides us with clues to identify a possible gene cluster for fusidic acid(fus cluster). This gene cluster consists of eight genes, among which six are conserved in the helvolic acid gene cluster except fusC1 and fusB1. Introduction of the two genes into the Aspergillus oryzae NSAR1 expressing the conserved six genes led to the production of fusidic acid. A stepwise introduction of fusC1 and fusB1 revealed that the two genes worked independently without a strict reaction order. Notably, we identified two short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase genes fusC1 and fusC2 in the fus cluster, which showed converse stereoselectivity in 3-ketoreduction. 10Loss of ARID1A Promotes Hepatocellular Carcinoma Progression via Up-regulation of MYC Transcription显示文摘Background and Aims:AT-rich interactive domain-containing protein 1A(ARID1A)is frequently mutated or deficient in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,the role of ARID1A in HCC remains unclear.Therefore,the biological role of ARID1A in HCC was evaluated and a potential mechanism was investigated.Methods:Arid1a was knocked out in the livers of mice using the CRISPR/Cas9 system delivered by hydrodynamic tail vein injection.The development of HCC was observed in different mouse models.The correlation of ARID1A and prognosis in patients with HCC was analyzed using cBioPortal.The effect of ARID1A on cell proliferation was assessed by MTT assay following the manipulation of candidate genes.Results:ARID1A deficiency alone did not cause HCC in mice,but knockout of ARID1A accelerated liver tumorigenesis in response to diethylnitrosamine(DEN)or when a combination knockout of phosphatase and tensin homolog(Pten)plus tumor protein P53(p53)was introduced.ARID1A mutations were associated with a poorer prognosis in HCC patients.The mRNA level of MYC was significantly higher in patients with an ARID1A mutation compared to those without a mutation.Ectopic expression of ARID1A inhibited HCC cell proliferation.ARID1A knockout increased HCC cell growth and resulted in disruptions to DNA damage repair and apoptosis following radiation stress.Furthermore,mechanistic studies revealed that ARID1A inhibited the proliferation of HCC cells via transcriptional down-regulation of MYC.Conclusions:These results describe ARID1A as a tumor suppressor in the liver.A deficiency in ARID1A predicts worse survival in HCC patients and promotes HCC progression via up-regulation of MYC transcription.Yao Xiao Guodong Liu Xiwu Ouyang Denggao Zai Jixiang Zhou Xiaoli Li Qi Zhang Jie Zhao 2021Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,4:2
11Radiation-hardened property of single-walled carbon nanotube film-based field-effect transistors under low-energy proton irradiation显示文摘Strong C-C bonds,nanoscale cross-section and low atomic number make single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)a potential candidate material for integrated circuits(ICs)applied in outer space.However,very little work combines the simulation calculations with the electrical measurements of SWCNT field-effect transistors(FETs),which limits further understanding on the mechanisms of radiation effects.Here,SWCNT film-based FETs were fabricated to explore the total ionizing dose(TID)and displacement damage effect on the electrical performance under low-energy proton irradiation with different fluences up to 1×1015 p/cm2.Large negative shift of the threshold voltage and obvious decrease of the on-state current verified the TID effect caused in the oxide layer.The stability of the subthreshold swing and the off-state current reveals that the displacement damage caused in the CNT layer is not serious,which proves that the CNT film is radiation-hardened.Specially,according to the simulation,we found the displacement damage caused by protons is different in the source/drain contact area and channel area,leading to varying degrees of change for the contact resistance and sheet resistance.Having analyzed the simulation results and electrical measurements,we explained the low-energy proton irradiation mechanism of the CNT FETs,which is essential for the construction of radiation-hardened CNT film-based ICs for aircrafts.Xiaorui Zhang Huiping Zhu Song’ang Peng Guodong Xiong Chaoyi Zhu Xinnan Huang Shurui Cao Junjun Zhang Yunpeng Yan Yao Yao Dayong Zhang Jingyuan Shi Lei Wang Bo Li Zhi Jin 2021Journal of Semiconductors2021,42,11:2
12Growth behavior of ultrafine austenite grains in microalloyed steel显示文摘Ultrafine austenite grains (UFAGs) with size of 1–5 μm were prepared through repet- itive treatment, four times, of rapid heating and quenching, and the growth behaviors of these UFAGs during both the reheating and cooling stages were investigated. The results indicated that UFAGs without pinning particles appeared with significant coarsening when the reheating temperature reached 1000 °C. 14Improved two-step hydrothermal process for acetic acid production from carbohydrate biomass显示文摘An improved two-step process for converting carbohydrate biomass to acetic acid under hydrothermal conditions is proposed. The first step consists of the production of lactic acid from carbohydrate biomass, and the second step consists of conversion of the lactic acid obtained in the first step to acetic acid using CuO as an oxidant. The results indicated that CuO as an oxidant in the second step can significantly improve the production of high-purity acetic acid from lactic acid, and the maximum yield of acetic acid was 61%, with a purity of 90%. The yield of acetic acid obtained using the improved two-step hydrothermal process from carbohydrate biomass, such as glucose, cellulose and starch, was greater than that obtained using traditional two-step process with H2O2 orO2. In addition, a proposed pathway for the production of acetic acid from lactic acid in the second step with CuO was also discussed. 15Extensive expansion of the chemical diversity of fusidane-type antibiotics using a stochastic combinational strategy显示文摘Fusidane-type antibiotics,represented by helvolic acid,fusidic acid and cephalosporin P1,are fungi-derived antimicrobials with little cross-resistance to commonly used antibiotics.Generation of new fusidane-type derivatives is therefore of great value,but this is hindered by available approaches.Here,we developed a stochastic combinational strategy by random assembly of all the post-tailoring genes derived from helvolic acid,fusidic acid,and cephalosporin P1 biosynthetic pathways in a strain that produces their common intermediate.Among a total of 27 gene combinations,24 combinations produce expected products and afford 58 fusidane-type analogues,of which 54 are new compounds.Moreover,random gene combination can induce unexpected activity of some post-tailoring enzymes,leading to a further increase in chemical diversity.These newly generated derivatives provide new insights into the structure-activity relationship of fusidane-type antibiotics.The stochastic combinational strategy established in this study proves to be a powerful approach for expanding structural diversity of natural products.Xiaojun Song Jianming Lv Zhiqin Cao Huiyun Huang Guodong Chen Takayoshi Awakawa Dan Hu Hao Gao Ikuro Abe Xinsheng Yao 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,6:1
16Fabrication and Microstructural Control of Nano-structured Bulk Steels: A Review显示文摘There exist strong interests of developing nano-grained steels because of the outstanding properties including high strength/weight ratio, wear resistance, excellent toughness, and favorable cellular activity. This article reviews the main fabrication process and microstructural control of nano-structured steels over the last decades. Severe plastic deformation is considered as an effective route of obtaining the nano-grained microstructures. The process of cold-rolling and annealing of martensitic steel is a viable method to obtain bulk nano-structured low carbon steel, while the final thickness of the cold-rolling plate is limited. According to the theoretical results of the thermal simulation studies, a novel alloy design combined with the rapid transformation and rolling process is proposed to successfully fabricate nano-grained high strength bulk steel. The refinement mechanisms are expected to be taking advantage of increase in the transformation nucleation sites and inhibiting the grain coarsening. 18Tripodalsporormielones A-C,unprecedented cage-like polyketides with complex polyvdent bridged and fused ring systems显示文摘A chemical investigation on Sporormiella sp.led to the isolation and structural elucidation of tripodalsporormielones Ae C(1-3),a new class of polyketide possessing unprecedented cage-like skeletons with polyvdent bridged and fused ring systems.These polyketides with cage-like skeletons were characterized as a high non-protonated carbon-containing system,which resulted in few HMBC correlations observed and made the accurate structures hard to be obtained by NMR.Especially,some signals of non-protonated sp;carbons are weak and even unobservable in compound 1.In order to establish the structure of 1,the calculated NMR with DP4 evaluation was applied to determine the structure from the plausible structure candidates obtained from the detailed NMR analysis.Based on NMR experiments and calculated NMR,the structures of isolated compounds were established and confirmed by X-ray technology.Through chiral isolation,the optically pure enantiomers of 1 and 3 were obtained,and their absolute configurations were determined based on ECD quantum chemical calculation.Based on the isolated compounds and our previous work,1-3 would be derived from 3-methylorcinaldehyde,and their plausible biosynthetic mechanism was proposed.Furthermore,1 exhibited obvious short-term memory improvement activity on an Alzheimer’s disease fly model.Guodong Chen Bingxin Zhao Meijuan Huang Jia Tang Yanbing Li Liangdong Guo Rongrong He Dan Hu Xinsheng Yao Hao Gao 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,11:1
