1Fluid/melt in continental deep subduction zones: Compositions and related geochemical fractionations显示文摘Plate subduction is the most magnificent process in the Earth. Subduction zones are important sites for proceeding matter- and energy- transports between the Earth's surface and the interior, continental crust growth, and crust-mantle interactions. Besides, a number of geological processes in subduction zones are closely related to human beings' daily life, such as volcanic eruptions and earthquakes, formation of mineral deposits. Subduction process thus has long been the centric topic of Earth sciences. The finding in 1980 s that continental crust could be subducted to mantle depths is a revolutionary progress in plate tectonic theory. Compared to oceanic crust, continental crust is colder, drier, lighter, and much more geochemically/isotopically heterogeneous. Hence, continental subduction process would affect the structure, compositions and evolutions of the overlying mantle wedge even more. During continental subduction and subsequent exhumation, fluids and melts can be generated in the(de)hydration process and partial melting process, respectively. These melts/fluids play important roles in crust-mantle interactions, elemental migrations, isotopic fractionations, and mantle metasomatism. By summarizing recent research works on subduction zones in this paper, we present a review on the types, physicochemical conditions and compositions of fluids/melts, as well as the migration behaviors of fluid-related characteristic elements(Nb-Ta-V) and the fractionation behaviors of non-traditional stable isotopes(Li-Mg) in subduction zones. 2Acupuncture preconditioning protects hippocampal neurons from transient ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘The present study established a model of brain ischemia in aged rats using four-vessel occlusion.We observed hippocampal CA1 neuronal apoptosis and apoptosis-mediated protease caspase-3 expression following preconditioning of electroacupuncture at Baihui(GV 20).Our results showed that the number of hippocampal CA1 normal neurons was decreased,and degenerated neurons were increased 12 hours to 3 days following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion.The number of hippocampal CA1 apoptotic neurons and caspase-3-positive neurons in rats with cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury was significantly decreased following acupuncture preconditioning.Acupuncture preconditioning protects aged rats against ischemia/reperfusion injury by regulating caspase-3 protein expression.Mingshan Wang Haipeng Zhou Fei Shi Shilong Ma Yanlin Bi Yuqiu Liu Hong Liu Haiou Li 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,15:12

4Hydrogen Storage Properties of Ti_(1.2)Fe+xCa Hydrogen Storage Alloys显示文摘The hydrogen storage properties of Ti1,2Fe+xCa (x=1%, 3% and 5% in mass fraction) alloys was Investl- gated. Results show that the modified alloys can be activated without any thermal treatment at room temperatrLre due to the addition of Ca and excess Ti in the alloys. Hydrogen storage properties of these modified alloys vary with Ca amount and reaction temperature. 5Effect of dissolved organic matter on nitrate-nitrogen removal by anion exchange resin and kinetics studies显示文摘The effects of dissolved organic matter (DOM) on the removal of nitrate-nitrogen from the model contaminated water have been investigated utilizing the strong base anion exchange resins. With the increase of gallic acid concentration from 0 to 400 mg/L, the adsorption amount of nitrate-nitrogen on the commercial resins, including D201, Purolite A 300 (A300) and Purolite A 520E (A520E), would significantly decrease. However, the presence of tannin acid has little impact on nitrate-nitrogen adsorption on them. Compared to D201 and A300 resins, A520E resin exhibited more preferable adsorption ability toward nitrate-nitrogen in the presence of competing organic molecules, such as gallic acid and tannin acid at greater levels in aqueous solution. Attractively, the equilibrium data showed that the adsorption isotherm of nitrate-nitrogen on A520E resin was in good agreement with Langmuir and Freundlich equations. The rate parameters for the intra particle diffusion have been estimated for the different initial concentrations. In batch adsorption processes, nitrate-nitrogen diffuse in porous adsorbent and rate process usually depends on t 1/2 rather than the contact time. The pseudo first- and the second-order kinetic models fit better for nitrate-nitrogen adsorption onto A520E resin. 6Deep dynamical processes in the central-southern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau—Receiver functions and travel-time residuals analysis of north Hi-Climb显示文摘Teleseismic receiver functions and travel-time residuals along the north Hi-Climb broadband seismic array in the central-southern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau show that the lithosphere structures in the central and western Qinghai-Tibet Plateau are different. In the central Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the Indian Plate is northward subducted beneath the Qiangtang block and arrives at the greatest depth beneath the central-southern Qiangtang block. The delaminated Indian lithospheric slab remains beneath the central Lhasa block to a depth possibly greater than that of the upper interface of the mantle transform zone. In the western Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the Indian lithospheric plate is gently northward subducted and may have arrived to the south of Tarim plate. 7Metamorphic AlInAs/GaInAs HEMTs on silicon substrates by MOCVD显示文摘Metamorphic Al0.50In0.50As/Ga0.47In0.53As high electron mobility transistors (mHEMTs) grown by Metal Organic ChemicalVapor Deposition (MOCVD) on n-type silicon substrates with introduction of a novel multi-stage buffering stack scheme havebeen fabricated for the first time. 1.0- m-gate-length depletion-mode mHEMTs with maximum transconductance up to 613mS/mm are achieved. The unity current gain cut-off frequency (fT) and the maximum oscillation frequency (fmax) are 36.9 and55.6 GHz, respectively. This device has the highest fTyet reported for 1.0- m-gate-length HEMTs grown on silicon byMOCVD. Also, this performance is comparable to that of similar GaAs-based mHEMTs. 10Polarized holographic lithography system for high-uniformity microscale patterning with periodic tunability显示文摘Periodic microscale array structures play an important role in diverse applications involving photonic crystals and diffraction gratings.A polarized holographic lithography system is proposed for patterning high-uniformity microscale two-dimensional crossed-grating structures with periodic tunability.Orthogonal two-axis Lloyd’s mirror interference and polarization modulation produce three sub-beams,enabling the formation of two-dimensional crossed-grating patterns with wavelength-comparable periods by a single exposure.The two-dimensional-pattern period can also be flexibly tuned by adjusting the interferometer spatial positioning.Polarization states of three sub-beams,defining the uniformity of the interference fringes,are modulated at their initial-polarization states based on a strict full polarization tracing model in a three-dimensional space.A polarization modulation model is established considering two conditions of eliminating the unexpected interference and providing the desired identical interference intensities.The proposed system is a promising approach for fabricating high-uniformity two-dimensional crossed gratings with a relatively large grating period range of 500–1500 nm.Moreover,our rapid and stable approach for patterning period-tunable two-dimensional-array microstructures with high uniformity could be applicable to other multibeam interference lithography techniques.Gaopeng Xue Qihang Zhai Haiou Lu Qian Zhou Kai Ni Liyu Lin Xiaohao Wang Xinghui Li 2021Microsystems & Nanoengineering2021,7,2:2
11Design Fe-based Eutectic Medium-Entropy Alloys Fe_2NiCrNb_x显示文摘High-entropy alloys have attracted broad research interests due to their unique and intriguing mechanical properties. As a category of high-entropy alloys, eutectic high-entropy alloys combine the advantages of eutectic and high-entropy alloys, with excellent mechanical properties and casting properties. Some eutectic high-entropy alloys have been developed and shown exciting properties. In this paper, based on the physical metallurgy of eutectic high-entropy alloy, medium-entropy alloy Fe_(2)NiCrNb_(x) was designed. The as-cast alloy is composed of FCC and Laves phases, Nb element promotes the formation of primary Laves phase, and the hardness of the alloy increases with the increase in Nb element. Among the four alloys, the eutectic chemical composition at eutectic point is Fe_(2)NiCrNb_(0.34);the alloy has a good strength and plastic balance. The ultimate comprehensive strength is 2267 MPa, and the fracture strain is 30.8%. The experiment data and analyses identified the eutectic points and the excellent mechanical behavior. Moreover, the expensive Co element was replaced by Fe element. 15~1H-magnetic resonance spectroscopy screening for animals with acute cerebral infraction suitable forthrombolytic therapy显示文摘BACKGROUND: As a non-invasive technique which can provide comprehensive biological information, 1H-magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-MRS) may provide valuable reference data for irreversible recovery or reversible changes in ischemic tissue after stroke. OBJECTIVE: To monitor and evaluate the effect of the urokinase thrombolytic therapy after experimental acute cerebral ischemia by 1H-MRS technology and investigate its adaptability. DESIGN: Randomly controlled animal study. SETTINGS: Shenzhen Hospital of Peking University and National Key Laboratory of Pattern and Atom & Molecular Physics, Wuhan Physics and Mathematics Institute, Chinese Academy of Science. MATERIALS: Eleven healthy adult Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats, weighing 260–300 g and of both genders, were supplied by Experimental Animal Center of Tongji Medical Collage, Huazhong University of Science and Technology [SCXK (e) 2004-007]. 4.7T superconducting nuclear magnetic resonance meter was provided by Brucker Company. METHODS: The experiment was carried out in Shenzhen Hospital of Peking University and National Key Laboratory of Pattern and Atom & Molecular Physics, Wuhan Physics and Mathematics Institute, Chinese Academy of Science from August 2003 to December 2005. ① The rats were randomly divided into 30-minute self-thrombo-embolism group (n =6) and 60-minute self-thrombo-embolism group (n =5). Six rats in 30-minute self-thrombo-embolism group were occluded with clot embolus for 30 minutes and 5 rats in 60-minute self-thrombo-embolism group were occluded for 60 minutes. 10 000 U/kg urokinase was dissolved in 2 mL saline and the operation lasted for 5 minutes. ② 1H-MRS was performed before thrombolysis and at 3 hours and 24 hours after successful embolization. The metabolic changes of N-acetyl-L-aspartic acid (NAA)/phosphocreatine (PCr) + creatine (Cr), choline phosphate (Cho)/PCr+Cr and lactic acid (Lac)/PCr+Cr in the region of interests were analyzed. ③ The T2W image was conducted 24 hours after the thrombolytic therapy with TR=500 ms and TE=25 ms. ④ The subjects were sacrificed immediately after 1H-MRS and the brain tissues were cut into pieces and stained with HE method; in addition, pathological changes were observed under optic microscope. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① Metabolic changes of NAA/PCr+Cr, Cho/PCr+Cr and Lac/PCr+Cr in the region of interests; ② T2W image at 24 hours after the thrombolysis; ③ pathological observation of brain tissue. RESULTS: Eleven rats were all involved in the final analysis. ① Metabolic changes in the region of interests : In 30-minute self-thrombo-embolism group, the Lac peak emerged immediately after the embolism, but the ischemic zone decreased 3 hours after the thrombolytic therapy (0.252±0.01, 0.603±0.01, P < 0.01). Lac/(PCr+Cr) ratio was 0.290±0.01 at 24 hours after thrombolysis, which was higher than that at 3 hours after thrombolysis (P < 0.01). The NAA/ (PCr+Cr) ratio decreased significantly at 3 hours after the thrombolysis as compared with that before thrombolysis (0.922±0.16, 1.196±0.01, P < 0.05). In 60-minute self-thrombo-embolism group, the Lac/(PCr+Cr) ratio was higher at 3 hours after thrombolysis than that before thrombolysis (0.846±0.12, 0.601±0.11, P < 0.05) and the NAA/(PCr+Cr) decreased at 3 hours after the embolism. Fluctuation of NAA/ (PCr+Cr) ranged from 0.68 to 0.75 before thrombolysis and from 0.71 to 0.75 at 3 hours after thrombolysis. ② T2W image: T2W image showed that 2 subjects in 30-minute self-thrombo-embolism group whose Lac/NAA was higher than 0.7 suffered from intracranial hemorrhage. This meant that the subjects with Lac/NAA > 0.7 were more likely to suffer from intracranial hemorrhage. ③ Histological and morphological examinations: Optic microscope demonstrated that interspace surrounding nerve cells was widened at ischemic center; neurons were swelling; nucleus was stained lightly; pyknosis and mesenchymal edema were mainly observed in lateral cortex of brow and vertex and in lateralpart of corpus striatum. CONCLUSION: ①Compound parameters in ischemic area before thrombolysis should be regarded as an important predicting marker for thrombolytic therapy, effect evaluation and termination. ② 1H-MRS combining with other imaging technique is a detecting way for screening cases who are suitable for thrombolytic therapy.Li Yi Haiou Zhang Hao Lei Li Wei 2007Neural Regeneration Research2007,2,5:1
16Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Selective Laser Melted Al–2.51Mn–2.71Mg–0.55Sc–0.29Cu–0.31Zn Alloy Designed by Supersaturated Solid Solution显示文摘Selective laser melting(SLM)of aluminium alloys for lightweight application is arousing widespread interest,but the available alloy compositions are limited due to unsatisfactory mechanical performances.The rapid solidifi cation of SLM provides a pathway to design a novel alloy composition with extended solubility.This strategy is demonstrated by an additively manufactured novel Al–2.51 Mn–2.71 Mg–0.55 Sc–0.29 Cu–0.31 Zn alloy with the supersaturated solid solution in the present study.The microstructure of as-build sample is characterized with multi-modal grains with the fi ne equiaxed grain(FEG,~800 nm)at molten pool boundaries,coarse equiaxed grain(CEG,~2μm)and columnar dendrites(CD,~4μm)inside the molten pool,which relates to the precipitations type and distribution.It is observable that Al 3(Sc,Zr)precipitation particles with the size of~50 nm are dispersed in the FEG zone,while the interior of CEG shows no Al3(Sc,Zr)particle which only exists at the CEG boundaries.Regardless of FEG,CEG or CD,the slender Al6 Mn precipitation with the length of~500 nm is distributed along the grain boundaries.Meanwhile,a lot of vacancies and thickness fringes are detected in the FEG zone,which confi rms the supersaturated solid solution in laser rapid solidifi cation.The ultimate tensile strength and yield strength of the as-printed sample are~380 MPa and~330 MPa,respectively,with elongation~14%,which increase to~440 MPa and~410 MPa with a reduction of elongation to~9%after heat treatment.Minbo Wang Ruidi Li Tiechui Yuan Haiou Yang Pengda Niu Chao Chen 2022Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2022,35,3:1
17Enhanced Charge Separation of a-Bi2O3-BiOI Hollow Nanotube for Photodegradation Antibiotic Under Visible Light显示文摘It is highly desirable to exploit semiconductor materials with high photocatalytic degradation activity,es-pecially bismuth oxyhalide semiconductor photocatalysts with special layered structure and suitable bandgap width.The low utilization rate of visible light and high recombination rate of photogenerated electron-hole of BiOl photo catalyst severely restrict its development.Herein,a heterojunction photocatalyst of a-Bi2O3-BiOI hollow nanotube was prepared by electrospinning method,solvothermal method and ion-exchange method.The a-Bi2O3-BiOI(BB-4 the stirring time of Bi2O3 in KI solution was 4 h)exhibited the best photocatalytic performance towards degrading the tetracycline hydrochloride(TC)solution,which could remove 85%of TC(10 mg/L)in 2 h under visible light irradia-tion.The estimated hrc of a-BiO-BiOI(BB-4)was ca.3.9 and 1.8 times as much as that of a-Bi2O3 and pure BiOI respectively.It indicated that the formation of a-BizO3-BiOl heterojunction can significantly improve the separatior efficiency of photogenerated electron-hole pairs,therefore the photocatalytic ability was enhanced.Furthermore,a corresponding photocatalytic mechanism was proposed that Oz radical and holes are the main active components in the photodegradation through trapping experiment.ZHANG Pengfei LIU Huan LIANG Haiou BAI Jie LI Chunping 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,6:1
