1Toll-like receptor 4-mediated nuclear factor-κB activation in spinal cord contributes to chronic morphine-induced analgesic tolerance and hyperalgesia in rats显示文摘Nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB) in the spinal cord is involved in pro-infl ammatory cytokine-mediated pain facilitation. However, the role of NF-κB activation in chronic morphine-induced analgesic tolerance and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. In the present study, we found that the level of phosphorylated NF-κB p65(p-p65) was increased in the dorsal horn of the lumbar 4–6 segments after intrathecal administration of morphine for 7 consecutive days, and the p-p65 was co-localized with neurons and astrocytes. The expression of TNF-α and IL-1β was also increased in the same area. In addition, pretreatment with pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate(PDTC) or SN50, inhibitors of NF-κB, prevented the development of morphine analgesic tolerance and alleviated morphine withdrawal-induced allodynia and hyperalgesia. The increase in TNF-α and IL-1β expression induced by chronic morphine exposure was also partially blocked by PDTC pretreatment. In another experiment, rats receiving PDTC or SN50 beginning on day 7 of morphine injection showed partial recovery of the anti-nociceptive effects of morphine and attenuation of the withdrawal-induced abnormal pain. Meanwhile, intrathecal pretreatment with lipopolysaccharide from Rhodobacter sphae-roides, an antagonist of toll-like receptor 4(TLR4), blocked the activation of NF-κB, and prevented the development of morphine tolerance and withdrawal-induced abnormal pain. 2Occurrence of Middle Miocene Fossil Cyprinid Fish in the Northern Qaidam Basin and its Paleoenvironmental Implications显示文摘With a thick sequence of early Eocene to Pleistocene terrestrial records, the Qaidam Basin on the northern Tibetan Plateau provides an important sedimentary archive for understanding the paleoenvironmental evolution of the northeast Tibetan Plateau. In this study, specimens of fossil fish remains are collected from the late Middle Miocene(Serravallian, ~12 Ma) of the middle member of the Shang Youshashan Formation, Dahonggou(DHG) section, in the northern Qaidam Basin. Based on a systematic study of these materials, the remains have assigned to Cyprinidae, with typical pharyngeal teeth and dorsal fin spines with serrations on the posterior edge. Our discovery improves understanding of the cyprinid fish distribution characteristics in the Qaidam Basin during the Cenozoic. 3CsPb(I_(x)Br_(1-x))_(3) solar cells显示文摘Owing to its nice performance, low cost, and simple solution-processing, organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cell(PSC) becomes a promising candidate for next-generation high-efficiency solar cells.The power conversion efficiency(PCE) has boosted from 3.8% to 25.2% over the past ten years. Despite the rapid progress in PCE, the device stability is a key issue that impedes the commercialization of PSCs. Recently, all-inorganic cesium lead halide perovskites have attracted much attention due to their better stability compared with their organic-inorganic counterpart. In this progress report, we summarize the properties of CsPb(IxBr1-x)3 and their applications in solar cells. The current challenges and corresponding solutions are discussed. 4Branched Fluorine/Adamantane Interfacial Compatibilizer for PBO Fibers/Cyanate Ester Wave-Transparent Laminated Composites显示文摘Comprehensive Summary Branched fluorine/adamantane PBO precursor(preFABPBO),synthesized via random co-condensation between 2,2-bis(3-amino-4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoro propane,1,3-adamantanedicarbonyl dichloride,and trimesoyl chloride,is performed as interfacial compatibilizer,bisphenol A dicyanate ester(BADCy)resin as polymer matrix,and poly(p-phenylene-2,6-benzobisoxazole)(PBO)fibers as reinforcements to prepare PBO fibers/FABPBO-BADCy wave-transparent laminated composites by high temperature molding.The mechanical properties,wave-transparent performances,and heat resistances of PBO fibers/BADCy composites are simultaneously improved by the addition of preFABPBO.The interlaminar shear strength(ILSS)and flexural strength of PBO fibers/FABPBO-BADCy composites are 48.9 and 665.3 MPa,respectively,increased by 33.2%and 13.3%compared to those of PBO fibers/BADCy composites(36.7 and 587.4 MPa).The dielectric constant and dielectric loss values at 106 Hz are 2.53 and 0.003,respectively,lower than those of PBO fibers/BADCy composites(3.06 and 0.006),and the corresponding wave transmission efficiency is 94.8%,which also presents excellent stability over the wide temperature(25-200℃)and frequency range(103-107 Hz and 8.2-12.4 GHz).Meanwhile,the heat resistance index and glass transition temperature are 229.9℃and 247.5℃,also better than those of PBO fibers/BADCy composites(229.6℃and 247.1℃).Zheng Liu Xiaoli Fan Muyi Han Hao Li Junliang Zhang Lixin Chen Qiju Zhu Junwei Gu 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,8:2

6Large area van der Waals epitaxy of II-VI CdSe thin films for flexible optoelectronics and full-color imaging显示文摘The demand for future semiconductor devices with enhanced performance and lower cost has driven the development of epitaxial growth of high quality,free-standing semiconductor thin film materials without the requirement of lattice matching to the substrate,as well as their transfer to other substrates and associated device processing technology.This work presents a study on the van der Waals epitaxy based molecular beam epitaxy of CdSe thin films on two-dimensional layered mica substrates,as well as related etch-free layer transfer technology of large area,free-standing layers and their application in flexible photodetectors for full-color imaging.The photoconductor detectors based on these flexible CdSe thin films demonstrate excellent device performance at room temperature in terms of responsivity(0.2 A·W^(-1))and detectivity(1.5×10^(12)Jones),leading to excellent full-color imaging quality in the visible spectral range.An etch-free and damage-free layer transfer method has been developed for transferring these CdSe thin films from mica to other substrate for further device processing and integration.These results demonstrate the feasibility of van der Waals epitaxy method for growing high quality,large area,and free-standing epitaxial layers without the requirement for lattice matching to substrate for applications in low-cost flexible and/or monolithic integrated optoelectronic devices.Wenwu Pan Junliang Liu Zekai Zhang Renjie Gu Alexandra Suvorova Sarah Gain Han Wang Ziyuan Li Lan Fu Lorenzo Faraone Wen Lei 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:1

9Distribution of heavy metals in the topsoil of the Jining mining area显示文摘The geochemical baseline is the fundamental reference for environmental change and assessment.In this article we describe cluster and regression analyses with a normalization procedure.The elements Sc and Ag were chosen to calculate the environmental geochemical baseline.The geoaccumulation index was calculated and mapped to indicate the environmental quality of the soil.The results show that the urban areas are barely polluted with Ni and Cr but the rural areas in the southern part of the city, and the western part of the lake,are polluted with Ni,Cr,and Cu at the second level.On the other hand,the rural areas in the southern part of the city,and the western part of the lake,are polluted with As at a moderate level.The other area is polluted at the second level.An increase in As pollution occurs in a direction from northeast to southwest.The Cd pollution follows a trend similar to As,with an additional smaller contaminated area polluted at levelⅢ.The Hg pollution typical of urban areas occurs in the main and northern parts of the city.The geochemical accumulation index decreases from the city center to the periphery.The highest pollution level reaches levelⅣ,which indicates that the soil is seriously polluted with Hg.The southern part of the city and the rural areas to the west of the lake are not contaminated with Hg.Geological factors and the disturbance from human activities are both possible major factors:further research is needed to identify them.HAO Junliang HAN Zuozhen WANG Cuizhen ZHOU Guangzhu LI Yinming 2010Mining Science and Technology2010,20,3:1

11Phospholipid-grafted PLLA electrospun micro/nanofibers immobilized with small extracellular vesicles from rat adipose mesenchymal stem cells promote wound healing in diabetic rats显示文摘Small extracellular vesicles(sEVs)derived from mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)can deliver a variety of bioactive factors to create a favorable local microenvironment,thereby holding huge potential in chronic wound repair.However,free sEVs administrated intravenously or locally are usually cleared rapidly,resulting in an insufficient duration of the efficacy.Thus,strategies that enable optimized retention and release profiles of sEVs at wound sites are desirable.Herein,we fabricated novel functional phosphoethanolamine phospholipid-grafted poly-L-lactic acid micro/nanofibers(DSPE-PLLA)to carry and retain sEVs from rat adipose MSCs,enabling the slow local release of sEVs.Our results showed that sEVs@DSPE-PLLA promoted the proliferation,migration and gene expression(ColⅠ,ColⅢ,TGF-β,α-SMA,HIF-1α)of fibroblasts.It also promoted keratinocyte proliferation.In addition,sEVs@DSPE-PLLA helped polarize macrophages toward the M2 phenotype by increasing the expression of anti-inflammatory genes(Arginase 1,CD 206,IL-10)and inhibiting the expression of pro-inflammatory genes(IL-1β,TNF-α).Further in vivo study in diabetic rat models showed that sEVs@DSPE-PLLA improved the wound-healing process by alleviating the inflammatory responses,stimulating cell proliferation,collagen deposition and angiogenesis.These results highlight the potential of using DSPE-grafted scaffolds for extracellular vesicle immobilization and suggest sEVs@DSPE-PLLA micro/nanofibers as promising functional wound dressings for diabetic wounds.Jing Li Shunshun Yan Weiju Han Zixuan Dong Junliang Li Qi Wu Xiaoling Fu 2022Regenerative Biomaterials2022,9,1:0

13Modulating Myofibroblastic Differentiation of Fibroblasts through Actin-MRTF Signaling Axis by Micropatterned Surfaces for Suppressed Implant-Induced Fibrosis显示文摘Myofibroblasts,the primary effector cells for implant-induced fibrosis,contribute to this process by secreting excessive collagen-rich matrix and contracting.Thus,approaches that suppress myofibroblasts may achieve desirable suppression effects in the fibrotic process.As one of the important physical properties of materials,material topographical structures have been proven to affect various aspects of cell behaviors,so is it possible to manipulate the formation of myofibroblasts by tailoring the topographical properties of medical devices?In this study,polycaprolactone(PCL)surfaces with typical micropatterns(micro column and micro pit)were fabricated.The regulatory effects of surface micropatterns on the myofibroblastic differentiation of fibroblasts were investigated.Compared to the flat surfaces and surfaces with micro pit,surfaces with micro columns triggered the F-to G-actin transition,inhibiting the nuclear transfer of myocardin-related transcription factor-A.Subsequently,the downstream geneα-smooth muscle actin,which is a marker of myofibroblasts,was suppressed.Further in vivo investigation showed that PCL implants with micro-column-patterned surfaces inhibited the formation of peri-implant fibrotic capsules.Our results demonstrate that surface topographical properties are a potent regulator of fibroblast differentiation into myofibroblasts and highlight the antifibrotic potential of modifying surfaces with micro-column patterns.Weiju Han Qi Chu Junliang Li Zixuan Dong Xuetao Shi Xiaoling Fu 2023Research2023,,3:0
14Preventive and therapeutic benefits of nelfinavir in rhesus macaques and human beings infected with SARS-CoV-2显示文摘Effective drugs with broad spectrum safety profile to all people are highly expected to combat COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2.Here we report that nelfinavir,an FDA approved drug for the treatment of HIV infection,is effective against SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19.Preincubation of nelfinavir could inhibit the activity of the main protease of the SARS-CoV-2(IC50=8.26μM),while its antiviral activity in Vero E6 cells against a clinical isolate of SARS-CoV-2 was determined to be 2.93μM(EC50).In comparison with vehicle-treated animals,rhesus macaque prophylactically treated with nelfinavir had significantly lower temperature and significantly reduced virus loads in the nasal and anal swabs of the animals.At necropsy,nelfinavir-treated animals had a significant reduction of the viral replication in the lungs by nearly three orders of magnitude.A prospective clinic study with 37 enrolled treatment-naive patients at Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center,which were randomized(1:1)to nelfinavir and control groups,showed that the nelfinavir treatment could shorten the duration of viral shedding by 5.5 days(9.0 vs.14.5 days,P=0.055)and the duration of fever time by 3.8 days(2.8 vs.6.6 days,P=0.014)in mild/moderate COVID-19 patients.The antiviral efficiency and clinical benefits in rhesus macaque model and in COVID-19 patients,together with its well-established good safety profile in almost all ages and during pregnancy,indicated that nelfinavir is a highly promising medication with the potential of preventative effect for the treatment of COVID-19.Zhijian Xu Danrong Shi Jian-Bao Han Yun Ling Xiangrui Jiang Xiangyun Lu Chuan Li Likun Gong Guangbo Ge Yani Zhang Yi Zang Tian-Zhang Song Xiao-Li Feng Ren-Rong Tian Jia Ji Miaojin Zhu Nanping Wu Chunhui Wu Zhen Wang Yechun Xu Cheng Peng Min Zheng Junling Yang Feifei Du Junliang Wu Peipei Wang Jingshan Shen Jianliang Zhang Yong-Tang Zheng Hangping Yao Weiliang Zhu 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,5:0
15Block copolymer functionalized quartz fibers/cyanate ester wave-transparent laminated composites显示文摘A block copolymer of PDMS-b-PGMA is synthesized by polymerizing glycidyl methacrylate(GMA)via reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT)polymerization applying a polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)based macro-RAFT agent,which is then performed to functionalize the quartz fibers(QFs@PDMS-b-PGMA)via a simple coating process.Finally,the QFs@PDMS-b-PGMA/bisphenol A dicyanate ester(BADCy)wave-transparent laminated composites are fabricated by high-temperature molding.Nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectroscopy and size ex-clusion chromatography(SEC)demonstrate the successful preparation of PDMS-b-PGMA with expected structure.When the molar mass and coating amount of PDMS-b-PGMA are respectively 8100 g/mol and 2.0 wt.%,QFs@PDMS-b-PGMA/BADCy wave-transparent laminated composites present optimal mechan-ical properties and wave-transparent performance.The interlaminar shear strength(ILSS)and flexural strength are 53.6 and 552.0 MPa,respectively.Meanwhile,the dielectric constant and dielectric loss val-ues are 2.61 and 0.0028 at 1 MHz(wave transmittance of 93.8%),showing good stability at different frequencies(102-106 Hz and 8.4-12.4 GHz)and temperatures(25-250℃).Jiani Zhang Zheng Liu Muyi Han Junliang Zhang Yusheng Tang Junwei Gu 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,8:0
16Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanoplates for broadband photodetector and full-color imaging applications显示文摘Broadband light detection and sensing are widely applied in modern technology.As a promising candidate for next-generation two-dimensional(2D)optoelectronic material,bismuth oxyselenide(Bi_(2)O_(2)Se)nanoplates exhibit many prospects in the application of visible light detection due to their peculiar properties.In this work,we report the photodetection performance of single-crystal 2D Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanoplates grown on SiO_(2)based on a ternary-alloy growth model by utilizing chemical vapor deposition(CVD).The Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanoplates were found to have an even and uniform square shape with side lengths up to 15μm and an approximate thickness of 15 nm.A visible-light photodetector was fabricated based on a CVD-grown Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanoplate,and characterized by a set of illumination experiments using a 400 nm laser at temperatures ranging from 77 to 370 K.The device exhibited superior performance at the temperature of 77 K,with a responsivity of 523 A/W,a specific detectivity of 1.37×10^(11)Jones,a response time of 0.2175 ms,an external quantum efficiency of 162,119.44%,resulting in high-quality and fullcolor imaging in the visible spectrum.These results indicate that the single-crystalline Bi_(2)O_(2)Se nanoplates have excellent potential in broadband photodetection and non-cryogenic imaging.Han Wang Songqing Zhang Xingxuan Wu Huijia Luo Junliang Liu Zesheng Mu Ruirui Liu Guang Yuan Yujun Liang Jin Tan Yongling Ren Wen Lei 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
