2β-diversity Patterns of Plant Community in Fragmented Habitat in a Degenerated Meadow in Songnen Plain,China显示文摘A number of isolated islands of Leymus chinensis + herbosa community were investigated in fragmented habitat islands,by Braun-Blanquet field survey approach,in a degenerated meadow in the Songnen Plain,China in 2007.These islands were classified as large,medium,and small scales on the basis of the island area(100-1000m2,large island;50-100m2,middle island;10-50m2,small island).Each scale of the investigation involved eight islands.The responses of β-diversity patterns of plant taxon to the habitat fragmentation at local community and metacommunity levels were analyzed on different scales of 24 isolated islands.The results indicated that at the local community level,there were 57 species belonging to 20 families and 49 genera in large islands,49 species belonging to 16 families and 40 genera in middle islands,and 27 species belonging to eight families and 23 genera in small islands.β-diversity indexes for species,genus and family in large,middle,and small islands varied greatly,and the highest value of the indexes was not noted in the largest island.However,the average of the data obtained at the three scales showed that across large islands,Whittaker indexes were low and Bray-Curtis similarity indexes were high,while across small islands,Whittaker indexes were high and Bray-Curtis similarity indexes were low.At the metacommunity level,Whittaker indexes for species and genus showed a great significantly negative double logarithmic correlation(p<0.01) with the island area,whereas the Bray-Curtis indexes for species,genus and family showed a great significantly positive double logarithmic correlation(p<0.01) with the island area.At both local community and metacommunity levels,turnovers of species and genus could respond more sensitively to spatial changes of plant diversity patterns than that of family.Hence,the species and the genus could be used for the analysis of β-diversity patterns of plant community.HAN Dayong LI Haiyan YANG Yunfei 2009Chinese Geographical Science2009,19,4:11
3Genetic engineering of T cells with chimeric antigen receptors for hematological malignancy immunotherapy显示文摘The host immune system plays an instrumental role in the surveillance and elimination of tumors by recognizing and destroying cancer cells. In recent decades, studies have mainly focused on adoptive immunotherapy using engineered T cells for the treatment of malignant diseases. Through gene engraftment of the patient's own T cells with chimeric antigen receptor(CAR),they can recognize tumor specific antigens effectively and eradicate selectively targeted cells in an MHC-independent fashion.To date, CAR-T cell therapy has shown great clinical utility in patients with B-cell leukemias. Owing to different CAR designs and tumor complex microenvironments, genetically redirected T cells may generate diverse biological properties and thereby impact their long-term clinical performance and outcome. Meanwhile some unexpected toxicities that result from CAR-T cell application have been examined and limited the curative effects. Diverse important parameters are closely related with adoptively transferred cell behaviors, including CAR-T cells homing, CAR constitutive signaling, T cell differentiation and exhaustion. Thus, understanding CARs molecular design to improve infused cell efficacy and safety is crucial to clinicians and patients who are considering this novel cancer therapeutics. 4Extreme Cold Events from East Asia to North America in Winter 2020/21:Comparisons,Causes,and Future Implications显示文摘Three striking and impactful extreme cold weather events successively occurred across East Asia and North America during the mid-winter of 2020/21.These events open a new window to detect possible underlying physical processes.The analysis here indicates that the occurrences of the three events resulted from integrated effects of a concurrence of anomalous thermal conditions in three oceans and interactive Arctic-lower latitude atmospheric circulation processes,which were linked and influenced by one major sudden stratospheric warming(SSW).The North Atlantic warm blob initiated an increased poleward transient eddy heat flux,reducing the Barents-Kara seas sea ice over a warmed ocean and disrupting the stratospheric polar vortex(SPV)to induce the major SSW.The Rossby wave trains excited by the North Atlantic warm blob and the tropical Pacific La Nina interacted with the Arctic tropospheric circulation anomalies or the tropospheric polar vortex to provide dynamic settings,steering cold polar air outbreaks.The long memory of the retreated sea ice with the underlying warm ocean and the amplified tropospheric blocking highs from the midlatitudes to the Arctic intermittently fueled the increased transient eddy heat flux to sustain the SSW over a long time period.The displaced or split SPV centers associated with the SSW played crucial roles in substantially intensifying the tropospheric circulation anomalies and moving the jet stream to the far south to cause cold air outbreaks to a rarely observed extreme state.The results have significant implications for increasing prediction skill and improving policy decision making to enhance resilience in“One Health,One Future”.Xiangdong ZHANG Yunfei FU Zhe HAN James E.OVERLAND Annette RINKE Han TANG Timo VIHMA Muyin WANG 2022Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,4:7
5Hydrogel-based composites beyond the porous architectures for electromagnetic interference shielding显示文摘With the rapid development of the electronic industry and wireless communication technology,electromagnetic interference(EMI)or pollution has been increasingly serious.This not only severely endangers the normal operation of electronic equipment but also threatens human health.Therefore,it is urgent to develop high-performance EMI shielding materials.The advent of hydrogel-based materials has given EMI shields a novel option.Hydrogels combined with conductive functional materials have good mechanical flexibility,fatigue durability,and even high stretchability,which are beneficial for a wide range of applications,especially in EMI shielding and some flexible functional devices.Herein,the current progress of hydrogel-based EMI shields was reviewed,in the meanwhile,some novel studies about pore structure design that we believe will help advance the development of hydrogel-based EMI shielding materials were also included.In the outlook,we suggested some promising development directions for the hydrogel-based EMI shields,by which we hope to provide a reference for designing hydrogels with excellent EMI shielding performance and multifunctionalities.Yunfei Yang Mingrui Han Wei Liu Na Wu Jiurong Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:5
6Effect of Mo content on microstructure and stress-rupture properties of a Ni-base single crystal superalloy显示文摘The additional 1.5 wt% Mo was added in a Ni-base single crystal(SC) alloy with the composition of Ni–6.5Al–8.0Mo–2.4Cr–6.2Ta–4.9Co–1.5Re–(0.01–0.05)Y(wt%) to study the effect of Mo content on the microstructure and stress-rupture properties. The creep and stress-rupture tests under the conditions of 850 °C/500 MPa and 1100 °C/130 MPa were conducted, and the microstructure of as-cast, heat treated and stress ruptured specimens were analyzed. It was found that the 1.5 wt% Mo addition enhanced the stress-rupture lives at both intermediate(850 °C) and high(1100 °C)temperatures. The microstructure analysis showed that adding 1.5 wt% Mo in the basic alloy affected the microstructure dramatically, i.e., the Mo-rich phases formed in the specimens of as-cast and stress-ruptured specimens. It is considered that the improvement of the stress-rupture lives is duo to the strengthening effect of Mo to both γ and γ'phases and the decrease of stacking fault energy, diffusion constant and dislocation spacing. 7Theory and techniques of data mining in CGF behavior modeling显示文摘For the large quantity of data,rules and models generated in the course of computer generated forces (CGFs) behavior modeling,the common analytical methods are statistical methods based on the tactical rules,tactical doctrine and empirical knowledge.However,from the viewpoint of data mining,we can find many of these analytical methods are also each-and-every different data mining methods.In this paper,we survey the data mining theory and techniques that have appeared in the course of CGF behavior modeling from the viewpoint of data mining.Further,we redefine and reclassify these theories and techniques according to the research requirements of data mining (the knowledge structure of data mining).We aim to help the CGF investigators to learn the key points and the research methods of the data intelligent processing in the CGF behavior modeling,and thus we can provide the references for the colleagues who are engaged in the research and practice of the CGF behavior modeling by this article.We also introduce our ongoing work on the CGF behavior modeling based on data mining.YIN YunFei GONG GuangHong HAN Liang 2011Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,4:4
8Feedback structure based entropy approach for multiple-model estimation显示文摘The variable-structure multiple-model(VSMM)approach,one of the multiple-model(MM)methods,is a popular and effective approach in handling problems with mode uncertainties.The model sequence set adaptation(MSA)is the key to design a better VSMM.However,MSA methods in the literature have big room to improve both theoretically and practically.To this end,we propose a feedback structure based entropy approach that could fnd the model sequence sets with the smallest size under certain conditions.The fltered data are fed back in real time and can be used by the minimum entropy(ME)based VSMM algorithms,i.e.,MEVSMM.Firstly,the full Markov chains are used to achieve optimal solutions.Secondly,the myopic method together with particle flter(PF)and the challenge match algorithm are also used to achieve sub-optimal solutions,a trade-off between practicability and optimality.The numerical results show that the proposed algorithm provides not only refned model sets but also a good robustness margin and very high accuracy.Shen-tu Han Xue Anke Guo Yunfei 2013Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,6:3

10LNP-CpG ODN-adjuvanted varicella-zoster virus glycoprotein E induced comparable levels of immunity with Shingrix^(TM) in VZV-primed mice显示文摘Latent varicella-zoster virus(VZV)may be reactivated to cause herpes zoster,which affects one in three people during their lifetime.The currently available subunit vaccine Shingrix^(TM) is superior to the attenuated vaccine Zostavax®in terms of both safety and efficacy,but the supply of its key adjuvant component QS21 is limited.With ionizable lipid nanoparticles(LNPs)that were recently approved by the FDA for COVID-19 mRNA vaccines as carriers,and oligodeoxynucleotides containing CpG motifs(CpG ODNs)approved by the FDA for a subunit hepatitis B vaccine as immunostimulators,we developed a LNP vaccine encapsulating VZV-glycoprotein E(gE)and CpG ODN,and compared its immunogenicity with Shingrix^(TM) in C57BL/6J mice.The results showed that the LNP vaccine induced comparable levels of gE-specific IgG antibodies to Shingrix^(TM) as determined by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Most importantly,the LNP vaccine induced comparable levels of cellmediated immunity(CMI)that plays decisive roles in the efficacy of zoster vaccines to Shingrix^(TM) in a VZVprimed mouse model that was adopted for preclinical studies of Shingrix^(TM) .Number of IL-2 and IFN-γsecreting splenocytes and proportion of T helper 1(Th1)cytokine-expressing CD4^(+)T cells in LNP-CpG-adjuvanted VZV-gE vaccinated mice were similar to that of Shingrix^(TM) boosted mice.All of the components in this LNP vaccine can be artificially and economically synthesized in large quantities,indicating the potential of LNP-CpGadjuvanted VZV-gE as a more cost-effective zoster vaccine.Ning Luan Han Cao Yunfei Wang Kangyang Lin Cunbao Liu 2022Virologica Sinica2022,37,5:2

12Intelligent nanotherapeutic strategies for the delivery of CRISPR system显示文摘CRISPR, as an emerging gene editing technology, has been widely used in multiple fields due to its convenient operation, less cost, high efficiency and precision. This robust and effective device has revolutionized the development of biomedical research at an unexpected speed in recent years. The development of intelligent and precise CRISPR delivery strategies in a controllable and safe manner is the prerequisite for translational clinical medicine in gene therapy field. In this review, the therapeutic application of CRISPR delivery and the translational potential of gene editing was firstly discussed. Critical obstacles for the delivery of CRISPR system in vivo and shortcomings of CRISPR system itself were also analyzed. Given that intelligent nanoparticles have demonstrated great potential on the delivery of CRISPR system, here we mainly focused on stimuli-responsive nanocarriers. We also summarized various strategies for CIRSPR-Cas9 system delivered by intelligent nanocarriers which would respond to different endogenous and exogenous signal stimulus. Moreover, new genome editors mediated by nanotherapeutic vectors for gene therapy were also discussed. 20Large-Area Gravure-Printed AgNWs Electrode on Water/Oxygen Barrier Substrate for Long-Term Stable Large-Area Flexible Organic Solar Cells显示文摘Large-area AgNWs electrodes(25 cm×10 cm)were fabricated through roll-to-roll printing on the polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)modified water and oxygen barrier substrate.The modification of the barrier film with PVA improved the wettability of silver nanowires on the barrier films and led to the formation of homogenous large-area AgNWs networks.The mechanical flexibility,especially the adhesion force between the silver electrode and the barrier film substrate was dramatically improved through PVA modification.The efficiency of 13.51%for the flexible OSCs with an area of 0.64 cm2 was achieved based on the PET/barrier film/PVA/AgNWs electrode.The long-term stability showed the flexible OSCs based on the PET/barrier film/PVA/AgNWs electrode have a significantly improved stability relative to the device on PET/AgNWs electrode,and comparable air stability as the rigid device with glass/ITO device.The unencapsulated devices maintained nearly 50%of the original efficiency after storage for 600 h in air.After a simple top encapsulation,the flexible devices remained at 60%of the initial efficiency after 2000 h in the air.Therefore,the flexible AgNWs electrode based on the barrier film would have the potential to improve the air storage stability of organic flexible solar cells.Hao Wang Yaqin Pan Yunfei Han Zhuo Chen Tianyu Liu Lianping Zhang Qun Luo Chang-Qi Ma 2024Chinese Journal of Chemistry2024,42,5:0
