12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2Sensory innervation around immediately vs. delayed loaded implants: a pilot study显示文摘Although neurophysiological and psychophysical proof of osseoperception is accumulating, histomorphometric evidence for the neural mechanisms of functional compensation following immediate and delayed implant loading is still lacking. For this randomized split-mouth study, six mongrel dogs randomly received one of four treatment protocols at 36 implant-recipient sites over 16 weeks(third maxillary incisor, third and fourth mandibular premolar): immediate implant placement and immediate loading(IIP1IL);delayed implant placement and delayed loading(DIP1DL); delayed implant placement and immediate loading(DIP1IL); and natural extraction socket healing(control). Histomorphometry was performed in the peri-implant bone and soft tissues within 300 mm around the implants. Immunocytochemistry and transmission electron microscopy were used to confirm the presence of neural structures and to reveal their ultrastructural characteristics, respectively. Myelinated nerve fibres densely populated the peri-implant crestal gingival and apical regions, although they were also identified in the woven bone and in the osteons near the implant threads. Compared with the control group in the mandible, the group that received IIP1 IL showed a higher innervation(in Nmm22, 5.9461.12 vs. 3.1560.63,P,0.001) and smaller fibre diameter(in mm, 1.3760.05 vs. 1.6460.13, P50.016), smaller axon diameter(in mm, 0.8960.05 vs.1.2460.10, P50.009) and g-ratio(0.6460.04 vs. 0.7660.05, P,0.001) in the middle region around the implants. Compared with DIP1 IL in the mandible, IIP1 IL had a higher nerve density(in Nmm22, 13.2362.54 vs. 9.6461.86, P50.027), greater fibre diameter(in mm, 1.3260.02 vs. 1.2060.04, P50.021), greater axon diameter(in mm, 0.9260.01 vs. 0.8960.03, P50.035) and lower g-ratio(0.6960.01 vs. 0.7460.01, P50.033) in the apical region around the implants. 3Sensitivity of Fusarium graminearum to Carbendazim and Prochloraz显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to understand the resistance of Fusarium graminearum to carbendazim and prochloraz in the main wheat producing areas in Hubei Province.[Method] Totally 350 F. graminearum strains isolated in 2014 were determined to clear their sensitivity to carbendazim and prochloraz. [Result]All isolates were sensitive to carbendazim and prochloraz in Hubei Province,and carbendazim was still valuable in controlling Fusarium head blight. 8Human mobility data in the COVID-19 pandemic:characteristics,applications,and challenges显示文摘The COVID-19 pandemic poses unprecedented challenges around the world.Many studies have applied mobility data to explore spatiotemporal trends over time,investigate associations with other variables,and predict or simulate the spread of COVID-19.Our objective was to provide a comprehensive overview of human mobility open data to guide researchers and policymakers in conducting data-driven evaluations and decision-making for the COVID-19 pandemic and other infectious disease outbreaks.We summarized the mobility data usage in COVID-19 studies by reviewing recent publications on COVID-19 and human mobility from a data-oriented perspective.We identified three major sources of mobility data:public transit systems,mobile operators,and mobile phone applications.Four approaches have been commonly used to estimate human mobility:public transit-based flow,social activity patterns,index-based mobility data,and social media-derived mobility data.We compared mobility datasets’characteristics by assessing data privacy,quality,space–time coverage,high-performance data storage and processing,and accessibility.We also present challenges and future directions of using mobility data.This review makes a pivotal contribution to understanding the use of and access to human mobility data in the COVID-19 pandemic and future disease outbreaks.Tao Hu Siqin Wang Bing She Mengxi Zhang Xiao Huang Yunhe Cui Jacob Khuri Yaxin Hu Xiaokang Fu Xiaoyue Wang Peixiao Wang Xinyan Zhu Shuming Bao Wendy Guan Zhenlong Li 2021International Journal of Digital Earth2021,14,9:1

16Therapeutic effect of Qinghuayin(清化饮)against chronic atrophic gastritis through the inhibition of toll or interleukin-1 receptor domain-containing adaptor inducing interferon-β signaling pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To examine the efficacy of Qinghuayin(清化饮,QHY)in rat chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)models and explored the molecular mechanism of QHY in treating CAG.METHODS:In total,65 Wistar rats were randomly divided into the control(n=10)and CAG groups(n=55).CAG model rats were further divided into five groups:model(n=10),vitacoenzyme(n=10),low-dose QHY(n=10),medium-dose QHY(n=10),and high-dose QHY groups(n=10).We analyzed histopathological changes using hematoxylin and eosin staining and measured interleukin(IL)-6 and IL-8 levels in serum using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)(Boster Bio,Pleasanton,USA).In addition,gastrin(GAS),pepsinogen I(PGI),and PGII expressions were evaluated using ELISA.The protein and m RNA expression of toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)and toll or interleukin-1 receptor domaincontaining adaptor inducing interferon-β(TRIF)was detected by Western blotting and quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction,respectively.RESULTS:Our results revealed that histopathological changes in CAG model rates could be restored by low-,medium-,and high-dose QHY.The changes in GAS and PGI/II expression demonstrated that QHY improved CAG.Serum IL-6 and IL-levels were decreased by QHY administration.TLR4 and TRIF were upregulated at the m RNA and protein levels in the model group but downregulated by QHY administration.CONCLUSION:We concluded that QHY could effectively improve the histopathological changes of the gastric mucosa induced by CAG in rats.The therapeutic mechanism of QHY may be related to inhibition of the inflammatory factors IL-6 and IL-8 and suppression of TLR4/TRIF m RNA and protein expression.HE Youcheng YAO Xiaoling LI Sihan ZHOU Hongjian XU Ruoying ZHENG Rong XIAO Wendi SU Ning LIN Ping HUANG Minghan 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,2:1
17Three lactic acid bacteria with anti-obesity properties:In vitro screening and probiotic assessment显示文摘The worldwide obesity epidemic has imposed human being a huge burden and attention had been drawn to manipulating the lactic acid bacteria (LAB) to improve obesity symptoms.In this study,a more comprehensive and reliable in vitro method was established to screen LAB with greater potential against obesity.Firstly,twenty-eight human feces-derived LAB strains were selected by assessing bile salt-acid tolerance and cholesterol lowering capacity.Subsequently,the triglyceride lowering capacity,bile salt hydrolase (BSH) activity,α-glucosidase activity inhibition capacity and Enterobacter cloacae (E.cloacae) growth inhibition capacity were tested for further evaluating the anti-obesity properties of LAB strains.Principal component analysis (PCA) of these results indicated that Limosilactobacillus reuteri (L.reuteri) NCUH003,Lactiplantibacillus plantarum (L.plantarum) NCUH046 and Limosilactobacillus fermentum (L.fermentum) NCUH068 exhibited favorable anti-obesity properties.Besides,the LAB displayed good gastrointestinal adaptability and antioxidant activity but no hemolytic activity,and they were sensitive to various antibiotics.These results indicated that L.reuteri NCUH003,L.plantarum NCUH046 and L.fermentum NCUH068 are potential for application in obesity treatment.Benliang Wei Zhen Peng Muyan Xiao Tao Huang Wendi Zheng Mingyong Xie Tao Xiong 2022Food Bioscience2022,47,3:0
18Corrosion mechanism of ceramic glaze from the Yangtze EstuaryⅡ显示文摘Ancient lead-glazed ceramics frequently corrode physically,chemically,and biologically when buried in soil,submerged in water,or exposed to air.In comparison to the other two environments,relatively little research has been conducted on how leadglazed ceramics deteriorate in the water environment.Four lead-glazed ceramic samples from the Yangtze EstuaryⅡwere examined for their micromorphology and structural composition using scanning electron microscopy-energy spectrum analysis,micro-area X-ray diffraction analysis,fluorescence microanalysis,and Fourier infrared spectroscopy analysis.The results demonstrate the formation of deposits of PbCO_(3),Pb(OH)Cl,and Cu FeS_(2)and corrosion pits and fractures on the glaze layer surfaces.According to the corrosion phenomenon,the lead glaze layers of ceramics mainly underwent chemical and microbial corrosion in water,and the corrosion process of the lead glaze was expounded and modeled.The research results deepen the understanding of the corrosion mechanism of lead-glazed ceramics,which is of great significance for the study of the conservation of lead-glazed ceramics and other types of ceramic relics and can also provide a reference for the long-term preservation of contemporary silicate products.YU WenDi ZHAO Luo ZHAI Yang ZHAO Jing ZHANG KeXin GE Yan LI Qiang ZHAO Meng HUANG JiZhong LUO HongJie 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,8:0
19Ammonium Impacts on Vibrations of Hydroxyl and Lattice of Phengite at High Temperature and High Pressure显示文摘Dehydration in hydrous phases of the downgoing slab controls water release processes in subduction zones. Interplay between volatiles in hydrous minerals has complicated the previous knowledge of their dehydration. Phengite is an essential mineral carrying both hydrogen and nitrogen to the deep Earth. To further understand the link between nitrogen and dehydration process of phengite at an atomic level, we here carry out high temperature and high pressure vibrational spectroscopic investigations on hydroxyl and lattice of ammonium-bearing and ammonium-free phengites. The results show that heating to 800 oC hardly influences hydroxyl bonding strength, whereas pressure induces strengthening of hydrogen bonding until 10 GPa. Moreover, hydrogen transits between the sites with increasing temperature and pressure. The lattice modes soften with increasing temperature and stiffen under compression. Ammonium has no effect on hydroxyl bonding strength, but hinders hydrogen transition at high temperatures and high pressures. Ammonium does not influence the lattice at high pressures either, but delays softening of the lattice at high temperatures.
