1Gα_s Relays Sphingosine-1-Phosphate Receptor 1 Signaling to Stabilize Vascular Endothelial-Cadherin at Endothelial Junctions to Control Mouse Embryonic Vascular Integrity显示文摘Sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 1(S1PR1),a G protein-coupled receptor(GPCR),controls vascular stability by stabilizing vascular endothelial(VE)-cadherin junctional localization and inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2(VEGFR2) signaling.However,the molecular mechanisms that link S 1PR1 signaling to intracellular effectors remain unknown,In this study,we demonstrate that the heterotrimeric G protein subfamily member Gα_s,encoded by GNAS,acts as a relay mediator of S1PR1 signaling to control vascular integrity by stabilizing VE-cadherin at endothelial junctions.The endothelial cell-specific deletion of Gαs in mice causes early embryonic lethality with massive hemorrhage and a disorganized vasculature.The immunostalning results revealed that Gα_s deletion remarkably reduces the junctional localization of VE-cadherin,whereas the mural cell coverage of the vessels is not impaired.In addition,we found that Gαs depletion blocks the S1PRl-activation induced VE-cadherin stabilization at junctions,supporting that Gα_s acts downstream of S1PR1 signaling,Thus,our results demonstrate that Gα_s is an essential mediator to relay S1PR1 signaling and maintain vascular integrity.Ximing Shao Ke Liu Yi Fan Zhihao Ding Min Chen Minyan Zhu Lee S.Weinstein Hongchang Li Huashun Li 2015Journal of Genetics and Genomics2015,42,11:8
2Molecular mechanisms underlying the effects of acupuncture on neuropathic pain显示文摘Acupuncture has been used to treat neuropathic pain for a long time,but its mechanisms of action remain unknown.In this study,we observed the effects of electroacupuncture and manua acupuncture on neuropathic pain and on ephrin-B/EphB signaling in rats models of chronic constriction injury-induced neuropathic pain.The results showed that manual acupuncture and electroacupuncture significantly reduced mechanical hypersensitivity following chronic constriction injury,especially electroacupuncture treatment.Real-time PCR results revealed that ephrin-B1/B3and EphB1/B2 mRNA expression levels were significantly increased in the spinal dorsal horns of chronic constriction injury rats.Electroacupuncture and manual acupuncture suppressed the high expression of ephrin-B1 mRNA,and elevated EphB3/B4 mRNA expression.Electroacupuncture significantly enhanced the mRNA expression of ephrin-B3 and EphB3/B6 in the dorsal horns of neuropathic pain rats.Western blot results revealed that electroacupuncture in particular,and manual acupuncture,significantly up-regulated ephrin-B3 protein levels in rat spinal dorsal horns The results of this study suggest that acupuncture could activate ephrin-B/EphB signaling in neuropathic pain rats and improve neurological function.Ziyong Ju Huashun Cui Xiaohui Guo Huayuan Yang Jinsen He Ke Wang 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,25:8

4Effects of composite scale on high temperature oxidation resistance of Fe-Cr-Ni heat resistant alloy显示文摘Fe-Cr-Ni heat resistant alloys with aluminum and silicon addition,alone and in combination,were melted using an intermediate frequency induction furnace with a non-oxidation method.By the oxidation weight gain method,the oxidation resistances of the test alloys were determined at 1,200 oC for 500 hours.According to the oxidation weight gains,the oxidation kinetic curves were plotted and the functions were regressed by the least squares method.The results show that the oxidation kinetic curves follow the power function of y = axb(a>0,0Wang Haitao Wang Yuqing Yu Huashun Min Guanghui Wang Zhifu 2009China Foundry2009,6,2:6
5Microstructure and Tensile Properties of ZK60 Alloy Fabricated by Simplified Rapid Solidification Powder Metallurgy (S-RS P/M) Process显示文摘This study investigated the microstructures and mechanical properties of ZK60 alloy prepared by a simplified rapid solidification powder metallurgy (RS P/M) processing system (S-RS P/M), which consists of warm press in dry air and hot extrusion. Microstructure characterizations showed that S-RS P/M alloy consisted of magnesium matrix and oxide stringers of~1 μm in width. TEM (transmission electron microscopy) observations illustrated nano-size magnesia particles (10-30 nm) constituted oxide stringer in detail. Due to a relatively higher volume of nano-size magnesia particle produced during S-RS P/M process, 0.2% yield strength of S-RS P/M ZK60 alloy was found to be as high as 382 MPa, which is 10% higher than that of RS P/M alloy. 6Al-Si/Al_2O_3 in situ composite prepared by displacement reaction of CuO/Al system显示文摘Al2O3 particle-reinforced ZL109 composite was prepared by in situ reaction between CuO and Al.The microstructure was observed by means of OM,SEM and TEM.The Al2O3 particles in sub-micron sizes distribute uniformly in the matrix,and the Cu displaced from the in situ reaction forms net-like alloy phases with other alloy elements.The hardness and the tensile strength of the composites at room temperature have a slight increase as compared to that of the matrix.However,the tensile strength at 350 ℃ has reached 90.23 MPa,or 16.92 MPa higher than that of the matrix.The mechanism of the reaction in the CuO/Al system was studied by using of differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and thermodynamic calculation.The reaction between CuO and Al involves two steps.First,CuO reacts with Al to form Cu2O and Al2O3 at the melting temperature of the matrix alloy,and second,Cu2O reacts with Al to form Cu and Al2O3 at a higher temperature.At ZL109 casting temperature of 750-780 ℃,the second step can also take place because of the effect of exothermic reaction of the first step.Zhang Jing Yu Huashun Chen Hongmei Min Guanghui 2010China Foundry2010,7,1:3
7Fabrication of AlN-TiC/Al composites by gas injection processing显示文摘The fabrication of AlN-TiC/Al composites by carbon- and nitrogen-containing gas injection into Al-Mg-Ti melts was studied. It was shown that AlN and TiC particles could be formed by the in situ reaction of mixture gas (N2 + C2H2 + NH3) with Al-Mg-Ti melts. The condition for the formation of AlN was that the treatment temperature must be higher than 1373 K, and the amounts of AlN and TiC increased with the increase of the treatment temperature and the gas injection time. It was considered that AlN was formed by the direct reaction of Al with nitrogen-containing gas at the interface of the gas bubble and the melt. 8Operation of the CSNS Penning surface H^- ion source显示文摘The accelerator complex of the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) consists of a H- linear accelerator (linac) and a rapid cycling synchrotron (RCS). The linac contains a Penning surface H- ion source. The designed energy and the beam current of the source are 50 keV and 20 mA respectively, with a normalized root mean square (norm. rms.) emittance of 0.2π mm mrad. The manufactures and tests of the discharge chamber are in great progress. The construction of H- ion source test stand has been completed, and the operation of the source is also in progress. Stable H- ion beams with energy of 50 keV and current up to 50 mA are attained. 9Microstructural Evolution of Rapidly Solidified ZK60 Powders during Extrusion显示文摘The microstructural evolution of rapidly solidified(RS) ZK60 powders extruded at 250 C was investigated.It was shown that formation of new ultrafine grains took place through continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX),accompanied by the perfect bonding of powders via severe plastic deformation.At a low strain level,a well-defined structure made up of equiaxed and elongated subgrains was developed.Simultaneously,the operation of basal and non-basal dislocation slip led to the formation of low-angle dislocation cells(LADC) within the elongated subgrains.With increasing strain,the number and average misorientation of LADC increased,resulting in fragmentation of original elongation subgrains into a finally homogeneous fine-grained structure.Almost full-recrystallized structure with an average grain size of 0.4 μm was finally evolved after large cumulative strain.The results suggested that structural change was connected with thermal strain,where dislocation activities dominated this process.Zhenya Zhang Huashun Yu Shaoqing Wang Hui Yu Guanghui Min 2011Journal of Materials Science & Technology2011,27,2:2

14Effects of composite oxide scale on oxidation resistance of superalloy K273显示文摘A Si-containing K273 superalloy was made using intermediate frequency induction furnace in the study. In the testing of oxidation resistance,the oxidation process of the alloy specimens during the testing at 900℃ for 500 h was examined by oxidation weight gain method.The morphology and composition of the oxide scales were determined using scanning electron microscope(SEM)and X-ray diffraction(XRD),respectively.The effects of the transferring of ions and electrons on the oxidation resistance were further analyzed microscopically by semiconductor oxide models.The results show that the composite oxide scales consist of Cr2O3,SiO2 and spinel- type oxide MCr2O4,with flat and compact structure,and fine grains in uniform distribution.All of these endow the superalloy K273 with strong oxidation resistance.The reason for the powerful oxidation resistance of the composite scale is that the formation process of P+N type semiconductor oxide enables to consume most of the surplus negative and positive ions in the oxide scales,which makes the number of the mobile ions and electrons dropped enormously,and the transfer rate of them falls heavily.So the oxidation rate of the metal phase in the alloy matrix is reduced significantly.Wang Haitao Tan Jiwen Chu Zhong Yu Huashun 2012China Foundry2012,9,2:1

20Oxidation process of lanthanum hexaboride ceramics显示文摘Oxidation process of lanthanum hexaboride (LaB6) ceramic powder was investigated . The LaB6 powder samples were heated continually from room temperature to 1 473 K at a heating rate of 10 K/min by differential scanning calorimetry. The oxidation tests were conducted at different exposure temperatures. The phases and morphologies of the samples before and after exposure were analyzed by XRD and SEM. It was pointed out that before 1 273 K, LaB6 has high oxidation resistant ability, which was due to that the oxide layer hinders the oxygen diffusion from outer to the surface of LaB6 grains. The oxide layer was composed of the transition phases, which were composed of La2O3 and B2O3 formed from the initial oxidation; when the oxidation temperature exceeded 1 273 K, protective layer was destroyed due to the vaporization of liquid B2O3.
