6A broadly neutralizing human monoclonal antibody against the hemagglutinin of avian influenza virus H7N9显示文摘Background:The new emerging avian influenza A H7N9 virus,causing severe human infection with a mortality rate of around 41%.This study aims to provide a novel treatment option for the prevention and control of H7N9.Methods:H7 hemagglutinin(HA)-specific B cells were isolated from peripheral blood plasma cells of the patients previously infected by H7N9 in Jiangsu Province,China.The human monoclonal antibodies(mAbs)were generated by amplification and cloning of these HA-specific B cells.First,all human mAbs were screened for binding activity by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Then,those mAbs,exhibiting potent affinity to recognize H7 HAs were further evaluated by hemagglutination-inhibiting(HAI)and microneutralizationin vitro assays.Finally,the lead mAb candidate was selected and tested against the lethal challenge of the H7N9 virus using murine models.Results:The mAb 6-137 was able to recognize a panel of H7 HAs with high affinity but not HA of other subtypes,including H1N1 and H3N2.The mAb 6-137 can efficiently inhibit the HA activity in the inactivated H7N9 virus and neutralize 100 tissue culture infectious dose 50(TCID_(50))of H7N9 virus(influenza A/Nanjing/1/2013)invitro,with neutralizing activity as low as 78 ng/mL.In addition,the mAb 6-137 protected the mice against the lethal challenge of H7N9 prophylactically and therapeutically.Conclusion:The mAb 6-137 could be an effective antibody as a prophylactic or therapeutic biological treatment for the H7N9 exposure or infection.Jingxin Li Li Zhang Linlin Bao Yuxiao Wang Lin Qiu Jialei Hu Rong Tang Huiyan Yu Jun Shan Yan Li Chuan Qin Fengcai Zhu 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,7:1

8Dietary Epimedium extract supplementation improves intestinal functions and alters gut microbiota in broilers显示文摘Background Growth-promoting antibiotics have been banned by law in the livestock and poultry breeding industry in many countries.Various alternatives to antibiotics have been investigated for using in livestock.Epimedium(EM)is an herb rich in flavonoids that has many beneficial effects on animals.Therefore,this study was planned to explore the potential of EM as a new alternative antibiotic product in animal feed.Methods A total of 7201-day-old male broilers(Arbor Acres Plus)were randomly divided into six groups and fed basal diet(normal control;NC),basal diet supplemented with antibiotic(75 mg/kg chlortetracycline;CTC),and basal diet supplemented with 100,200,400 or 800 mg/kg EM extract for 6 weeks(EM100,EM200,EM400 and EM800 groups).The growth performance at weeks 3 and 6 was measured.Serum,intestinal tissue and feces were collected to assay for antioxidant indexes,intestinal permeability,lactic acid and short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)profiles,microbial composition,and expression of intestinal barrier genes.Results The average daily feed intake in CTC group at 1-21 d was significantly higher than that in the NC group,and had no statistical difference with EM groups.Compared with NC group,average daily gain in CTC and EM200 groups increased significantly at 1-21 and 1-42 d.Compared with NC group,EM200 and EM400 groups had significantly decreased levels of lipopolysaccharide and D-lactic acid in serum throughout the study.The concentrations of lactic acid,acetic acid,propionic acid,butyric acid and SCFAs in feces of birds fed 200 mg/kg EM diet were significantly higher than those fed chlortetracycline.The dietary supplementation of chlortetracycline and 200 mg/kg EM significantly increased ileal expression of SOD1,Claudin-1 and ZO-1 genes.Dietary supplemented with 200 mg/kg EM increased the relative abundances of g_NK4A214_group and Lactobacillus in the jejunal,while the relative abundances of Microbacterium,Kitasatospora,Bacteroides in the jejunal and Gallibacterium in the ileum decreased.Conclusion Supplementation with 200 mg/kg EM extract improved the composition of intestinal microbiota by regulating the core bacterial genus Lactobacillus,and increased the concentration of beneficial metabolites lactic acid and SCFAs in the flora,thereby improving the antioxidant capacity and intestinal permeability,enhancing the function of tight junction proteins.These beneficial effects improved the growth performance of broilers.Jiaqi Zhang Haitao Yu Huiyan Zhang Qingyu Zhao Wei Si Yuchang Qin Junmin Zhang 2023Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,4:1

10Carotenoid enrichment in eggs:From biochemistry perspective显示文摘The emergence of safe and functional eggs for consumer acceptance has gained focus.The production of carotenoid-enriched eggs has received attention due to its multifunctional biological properties.Nutritional modification of laying hens’diet can be a strategy to produce such eggs.This review presents the chemistry of carotenoids in nature and eggs,the accumulation process of carotenoids into eggs,and the functions of carotenoids in eggs.Our findings showed that carotenoids can be deposited into the egg and contribute to improving its nutritive value.The biosynthesis,chemical structure,and metabolism pathways of carotenoids lead to the deposition of carotenoids into eggs in their original or metabolized forms.Also,some factors modulate the efficiency of carotenoids in fowls before accumulation into eggs.Carotenoid-enriched eggs may be promising,ensuring the availability of highly nutritive eggs.However,further studies are still needed to comprehend the full metabolism process and the extensive functions of carotenoids in eggs.Dieudonne M.Dansou Huiyan Zhang Yanan Yu Hao Wang Chaohua Tang Qingyu Zhao Yuchang Qin Junmin Zhang 2023Animal Nutrition2023,,3:0

12Energy-Efficient Deployment of Water Quality Sensor Networks显示文摘Water quality sensor networks are promising tools for the exploration of oceans.Some key areas need to be monitored effectively.Water quality sensors are deployed randomly or uniformly,however,and understanding how to deploy sensor nodes reasonably and realize effective monitoring of key areas on the basis of monitoring the whole area is an urgent problem to be solved.Additionally,energy is limited in water quality sensor networks.When moving sensor nodes,we should extend the life cycle of the sensor networks as much as possible.In this study,sensor nodes in non-key monitored areas are moved to key areas.First,we used the concentric circle method to determine the mobile sensor nodes and the target locations.Then,we determined the relationship between the mobile sensor nodes and the target locations according to the energy matrix.Finally,we calculated the shortest moving path according to the Floyd algorithm,which realizes the redeployment of the key monitored area.The simulation results showed that,compared with the method of direct movement,the proposed method can effectively reduce the energy consumption and save the network adjustment time based on the effective coverage of key areas.Qian Sun Zhiping Shen Jinglin Liang Xiaoyi Wang Jiping Xu Li Wang Huiyan Zhang Jiabin Yu Ning Cao Ruichao Wang 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,9:0

15Optimal Deployment of Heterogeneous Nodes to Enhance Network Invulnerability显示文摘Wireless sensor networks(WSN)can be used in many fields.In wireless sensor networks,sensor nodes transmit data in multi hop mode.The large number of hops required by data transmission will lead to unbalanced energy consumption and large data transmission delay of the whole network,which greatly affects the invulnerability of the network.Therefore,an optimal deployment of heterogeneous nodes(ODHN)algorithm is proposed to enhance the invulnerability of the wireless sensor networks.The algorithm combines the advantages of DEEC(design of distributed energy efficient clustering)clustering algorithm and BAS(beetle antenna search)optimization algorithm to find the globally optimal deployment locations of heterogeneous nodes.Then,establish a shortcut to communicate with sink nodes through heterogeneous nodes.Besides,considering the practical deployment operation,we set the threshold of the mobile location of heterogeneous nodes,which greatly simplifies the deployment difficulty.Simulation results show that compared with traditional routing protocols,the proposed algorithm can make the network load more evenly,and effectively improve energy-utilization and the fault tolerance of the whole network,which can greatly improve the invulnerability of the wireless sensor networks.Qian Sun Fengbo Yang Xiaoyi Wang Jiping Xu Huiyan Zhang Li Wang Jiabin Yu Xiao Peng Ruichao Wang 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,11:0

17Soil phosphorus fractions and their availability over natural succession from clear-cut of a mixed broadleaved and Korean pine forest in northeast China显示文摘To assess phosphorus(P)status of forest soil under naturally restored vegetation,P fractions in the 10-cm soil layer were quantified at different successional stages on the clear-cut site of mixed broadleaved and Korean pine forest.Four communities of shrub,softwood broad-leaved forest,softwood and hardwood broad-leaved forest,and hardwood broad-leaved forest represented different successional stages.A soil sample from a primary broad-leaved and Korean pine stand was the control.A sequential P fractionation scheme extracted empirically defined pools of P and path analysis used to partition the direct and indirect contribution of soil P fractions to available P.The results show that available P increased significantly with long-term succession,while both sodium bicarbonate-extractable P(NaHCO_(3)-P)and sodium hydroxide-extractable P(NaOHP)fractions were reduced in early successional stages and increased in late stages.Compared to the primary forest,concentrations of P fractions in the four stages significantly decreased except for HCl-P,indicating that soil P supplements over the long-term did not return to primary forest levels.The results of related analysis also showed that NaHCO_(3)-P_(i)levels were significantly related to available phosphorus.According to the path analysis coefficient,NaHCO_(3)-P_(i)exhibited the highest effect on available P among eight P fractions;the indirect effects of other P fractions via NaHCO_(3)-P_(i)were larger than those with other P fractions.Overall,this study suggests that soil P bioavailability gradually improved during natural vegetation restoration on clear-cut sites mainly through the increase of NaHCO_(3)-P,where phosphorous is immediately available,and subsequently available phosphorus Na OH-P.Peng Yu Xin Zhang Huiyan Gu Jianping Pan Xiangwei Chen 2022Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,1:0
18Expression profiles of genes regulated by BplMYB46 in Betula platyphylla显示文摘The transcription factor BplMYB46 has been identified as a regulator of abiotic stress responses and promoter of secondary wall deposition in Betula platyphylla.To investigate the downstream targets of BplMYB46,the expression profiles of genes in stems from BplMYB46-overexpressing(OE)and BplMYB46-silencing(SE)plants were studied.In OE stems,952 genes were upregulated,and 1469 were downregulated in comparison to SE stems.In a KEGG pathway enrichment analysis of differentially expressed genes(DEGs),1387 differentially expressed genes were annotated for 117 metabolic pathways.DEGs were abundant for metabolic pathway,secondary metabolite biosynthesis,plant hormone signal transduction,phenylpropanoid and flavonoid biosynthesis.DEGs were implicated lignin or cellulose biosynthesis,cell wall modification,xylem development,disease resistance,stress responses,and anthocyanin biosynthesis.These results suggested that BplMYB46 regulates cell wall development and stress resistance by affecting the expression of these genes.Our study further elucidates the mechanism by which BplMYB46 mediates abiotic stress responses and secondary cell wall biosynthesis in birch.Huiyan Guo Chunrui Zhang Yanmin Wang Yiming Zhang Yu Zhang Yucheng Wang Chao Wang 2019Journal of Forestry Research2019,30,6:0

20Coverage Control for Underwater Sensor Networks Based on Residual Energy Probability显示文摘Underwater sensor networks have important application value in the fields of water environment data collection,marine environment monitoring and so on.It has some characteristics such as low available bandwidth,large propagation delays and limited energy,which bring new challenges to the current researches.The research on coverage control of underwater sensor networks is the basis of other related researches.A good sensor node coverage control method can effectively improve the quality of water environment monitoring.Aiming at the problem of high dynamics and uncertainty of monitoring targets,the random events level are divided into serious events and general events.The sensors are set to sense different levels of events and make different responses.Then,an event-driven optimization algorithm for determining sensor target location based on self-organization map is proposed.Aiming at the problem of limited energy of underwater sensor nodes,considering the moving distance,coverage redundancy and residual energy of sensor nodes,an underwater sensor movement control algorithm based on residual energy probability is proposed.The simulation results show that compared with the simple movement algorithm,the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the coverage and life cycle of the sensor networks,and realize real-time monitoring of the water environment.Jinglin Liang Qian Sun Xiaoyi Wang Jiping Xu Huiyan Zhang Li Wang Jiabin Yu Jing Li Ruichao Wang 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,12:0
