1Flower-, wire-, and sheet-like MnO_2-deposited diatomites:Highly efficient absorbents for the removal of Cr(Ⅵ)显示文摘Flower-, wire-, and sheet-like MnO2-deposited diatomites have been prepared using a hydrothermal method with Mn(Ac)2, KMnO4and/or MnSO4 as Mn source and diatomite as support. Physical properties of the materials were characterized by means of numerous analytical techniques, and their behaviors in the adsorption of chromium(VI) were evaluated.It is shown that the MnO2-deposited diatomite samples with different morphologies possessed high surface areas and abundant surface hydroxyl groups(especially the wire-like MnO2/diatomite sample). 3Laparoscopic versus open pancreaticoduodenectomy for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma:a propensity score matching analysis显示文摘Background:A growing body of evidence supports the use of laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy(LPD)as an efficient and feasible surgical technique.However,few studies have investigated its applicability in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC),and the long-term efficacy of LPD on PDAC remains unclear.This study aimed to compare the short-and long-term outcomes between LPD and open pancreaticoduodenectomy(OPD)for PDAC.Methods:The data of patients who had OPD or LPD for PDAC between January 2013 and September 2017 were retrieved.Their postoperative outcomes and survival were compared after propensity score matching.Results:A total of 309 patients were included.After a 2:1 matching,93 cases in the OPD group and 55 in the LPD group were identified.Delayed gastric emptying(DGE),particularly grade B/C DGE,occurred less frequently in the LPD group than in the OPD group(1.8%vs.36.6%,P<0.001;1.8%vs.22.6%,P=0.001).The overall complication rates were significantly lower in the LPD group than in the OPD group(49.1%vs.71.0%,P=0.008),whereas the rates of major complications were similar(10.9%vs.14.0%,P=0.590).In addition,the median overall survival was comparable between the two groups(20.0 vs.18.7 months,P=0.293).Conclusion:LPD was found to be technically feasible with efficacy similar to OPD for patients with PDAC.Wentao Zhou Weiwei Jin Dansong Wang Chao Lu Xuefeng Xu Renchao Zhang Tiantao Kuang Yucheng Zhou Wenchuan Wu Dayong Jin Yiping Mou Wenhui Lou 2019Cancer Communications2019,39,1:14
4High-accuracy primary and transfer standards for radiometric calibration显示文摘The first research and experimental results obtained in China of high-accuracy radiometric calibration based on cryogenic radiometer are reported. 5Recent Advances of Graphitic Carbon Nitride-Based Structures and Applications in Catalyst, Sensing, Imaging, and LEDs显示文摘The graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_3N_4) which is a two-dimensional conjugated polymer has drawn broad interdisciplinary attention as a low-cost, metal-free, and visible-light-responsive photocatalyst in the area of environmental remediation. The g-C_3N_4-based materials have excellent electronic band structures, electron-rich properties, basic surface functionalities, high physicochemical stabilities and are ‘‘earth-abundant.'' This review summarizes the latest progress related to the design and construction of g-C_3N_4-based materials and their applications including catalysis, sensing,imaging, and white-light-emitting diodes. 7Effects of typhoon Matsa on ionospheric TEC显示文摘The effects of typhoon Matsa on the ionosphere are studied by using GPS-TEC data observed at about 50 GPS stations.It is shown that the ionosphere has been already influenced and TEC tends to increase before the landing of Matsa,and the difference of TEC from its monthly median over the typhoon area is about 5 TECU.With the landing of Matsa,both the magnitude and the area of increased TEC decrease.One day after the landing of Matsa,TEC reaches its minimum and is lower than the monthly median.In comparison of TEC along the typhoon's path with that along three reference paths far from the typhoon,it is found that typhoon's impact on TEC can be fully distinguished.The evolution of TEC variation has the same tendency as reported typhoon-induced foF2.MAO Tian WANG JingSong YANG GuangLin YU Tao PING JinSong SUO YuCheng 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,8:8

10Wing load investigation of the plunge-diving locomotion of a gannet Morus inspired submersible aircraft显示文摘In this paper,we studied the wing root pivot joint’s radial load of a submersible airplane which imitates the locomotion of gannet’s Morus plunge-diving,by implementing a test device name Mimic-Gannet.The housing of the device was designed by mimicking the morphology of a living gannet,and the folding wings were realized by the mechanism of variable swept back wing.Then,the radial loads of the wing root were obtained under the conditions of different dropping heights,different sweptback angles and different water-entry inclination angles(i.e.,the angle between the longitudinal body axis and the water surface),and the relationships between the peak radial load and the above three parameters were analyzed and discussed respectively.In the studied areas,the minimum peak radial load of the pivot joint is 50.93 N,while the maximum reaches up to1135.00 N.The largest peak load would be generated for the situation of vertical water entry and zero wing sweptback angle.And it is of great significance to choose the three parameters properly to reduce the pivot joint’s radial load,i.e.,larger wing sweptback angle,smaller dropping height and water-entry inclination angle.It is also concluded that the peak radial load on the wing root is closely linear with the water-entry dropping height and the wing sweptback angle with a significant correlation.Eventually,the relationship between the wing load and the dropping height,water-entry inclination angle or wing sweptback angle,could be used to calculate the wing load about plunge-diving of a submersible aircraft,and the conclusions reveal the wing load characteristic of the gannet’s plunge process for the biologists.LIANG JianHong YAO GuoCai WANG TianMiao YANG XingBang ZHAO WenDi SONG Gang ZHANG YuCheng 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,2:5
11Filtering detecting signal of rockbolt with harmonic wavelet显示文摘Harmonic wavelets not only possess the traditional advantages of a wavelet function,they also have other merits such as clear expressions,more flexible time-frequency divisions,a simple transformation algorithm,a finer box-like frequency spectrum and others.Given the frequency distribution characteristics of the nondestructive testing signals from a rockbolt support system and based on the discrete harmonic wavelet transformation theory,we have effectively abstracted signals from frequency ranges concerned by removing useless high and low frequency signals from the testing signals of the rockbolt support system and obtained filtered signals with a reconstruction algorithm of harmonic wavelets.Finally,we applied the harmonic wavelet transformation in filtering analog signals and measured response signals of rockbolts.The results indicate that harmonic wavelets also have excellent filtering characteristics.WANG Jiyan ZHAO Yucheng YAO Banghua XU Jinhai 2010Mining Science and Technology2010,20,3:5
12Wearable CNT/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene/PDMS composite strain sensor with enhanced stability for real-time human healthcare monitoring显示文摘Strain sensors with good stability are vital to the development of wearable healthcare monitoring systems.However,the design of strain sensor with both duration stability and environmental stability is still a challenge.In this work,we propose an ultra-stable and washable strain sensor by embedding a coupled composite film of carbon nanotube(CNT)and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene into polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)matrix.The composite strain sensor with embedded microstructure and uneven surface makes it conformal to skin,while the CNT/MXene sensing layer exhibits a resistance sensitive to strain.This sensor shows reliable responses at different frequencies and with long-term cycling durability(over 1,000 cycles).Meanwhile,the CNT/MXene/PDMS composite strain sensor provides the advantages of superior anti-interference to temperature change and water washing.The results demonstrate less than 10%resistance changes as the temperature rises from-20 to 80℃or after sonication in water for 120 min,respectively.The composite sensor is applied to monitor human joint motions,such as bending of finger,wrist and elbow.Moreover,the simultaneous monitoring of the electrocardiogram(ECG)signal and joint movement while riding a sports bicycle is demonstrated,enabling the great potential of the as-fabricated sensor in real-time human healthcare monitoring.Xiaowen Xu Yucheng Chen Pei He Song Wang Kai Ling Longhui Liu Pengfei Lei Xianjun Huang Hu Zhao Jianyun Cao Junliang Yang 2021Nano Research2021,14,8:5
13120 mm Single-crystalline perovskite and wafers: towards viable applications显示文摘As the large single-crystalline silicon wafers have revolutionized many industries including electronics and solar cells, it is envisioned that the availability of large single-crystalline perovskite crystals and wafers will revolutionize its broad applications in photovoltaics, optoelectronics, lasers, photodetectors, light emitting diodes(LEDs), etc. Here we report a method to grow large single-crystalline perovskites including single-halide crystals: CH3NH3PbX3(X=I, Br, Cl), and dual-halide ones:CH3NH3Pb(ClxBr1.x)3 and CH3NH3Pb(BrxI1.x)3, with the largest crystal being 120 mm in length. Meanwhile, we have advanced a process to slice the large perovskite crystals into thin wafers. It is found that the wafers exhibit remarkable features:(1)its trap-state density is a million times smaller than that in the microcrystalline perovskite thin films(MPTF);(2) its carrier mobility is 410 times higher than its most popular organic counterpart P3HT;(3) its optical absorption is expanded to as high as910 nm comparing to 797 nm for the MPTF;(4) while MPTF decomposes at 150 °C, the wafer is stable at high temperature up to270 °C;(5) when exposed to high humidity(75% RH), MPTF decomposes in 5 h while the wafer shows no change for overnight;(6) its photocurrent response is 250 times higher than its MPTF counterpart. A few electronic devices have been fabricated using the crystalline wafers. Among them, the Hall test gives low carrier concentration with high mobility. The trap-state density is measured much lower than common semiconductors. Moreover, the large SC-wafer is found particularly useful for mass production of integrated circuits. By adjusting the halide composition, both the optical absorption and the light emission can be fine-tuned across the entire visible spectrum from 400 nm to 800 nm. It is envisioned that a range of visible lasers and LEDs may be developed using the dual-halide perovskites. 14Electrochemical hydrogenation of mixed-phase TiO2 nanotube arrays enables remarkably enhanced photoelectrochemical water splitting performance显示文摘We first report that photoelectrochemical(PEC)performance of electrochemically hydrogenated TiO_2 nanotube arrays(TNTAs)as high-efficiency photoanodes for solar water splitting could be well tuned by designing and adjusting the phase structure and composition of TNTAs.Among various TNTAs annealed at different temperature ranging from 300 to 700°C,well-crystallized single anatase(A)phase TNTAs-400 photoanode shows the best photoresponse properties and PEC performance due to the favorable crystallinity,grain size and tubular structures.After electrochemical hydrogenation(EH),anataserutile(A-R)mixed phase EH-TNTAs-600 photoanode exhibits the highest photoactivity and PEC performance for solar water splitting.Under simulated solar illumination,EH-TNTAs-600 achieves the best photoconversion efficiency of up to 1.52% and maximum H_2 generation rate of 40.4 mmol h^(-1)cm^(-2),outstripping other EH-TNTAs photoanodes.Systematic studies reveal that the signigicantly enhanced PEC performance for A-R mixed phaes EH-TNTAs-600 photoanode could be attributed to the synergy of A-R mixed phases and intentionally introduced Ti^(3+)(oxygen vacancies)which enhances the photoactivity over both UV and visible-light regions,and boosts both charge separation and transfer efficiencies.These findings provide new insight and guidelines for the construction of highly efficient TiO_2-based devices for the application of solar water splitting.Jiaqin Liu Mengjia Dai Jian Wu Ying Hu Qi Zhang Jiewu Cui Yan Wang Hark Hoe Tan Yucheng Wu 2018Science Bulletin2018,63,3:4
15ZIF-derived Co-N-C ORR catalyst with high performance in proton exchange membrane fuel cells显示文摘Metal and nitrogen-doped carbon(M-N-C)materials have been considered as the most promising non-precious metal oxygen reduction(ORR)catalysts to replace expensive Pt catalysts.Due to high Fenton catalytic activity of Fe element and the resulting instability,Co-based N-C(Co-N-C)catalysts without Fenton catalytic activity should be a worthier ORR catalyst being explored.Although the high ORR activity of Co-N-C catalyst has been demonstrated in aqueous half-cell tests,their performance under PEMFC working condition is still far away from that of state-of-the-art Fe-N-C catalysts.In this study,a high-performance Co-N-C catalyst was synthesized by one-step pyrolyzing Co-doped ZIF-8(zeolitic imidazolate framework-8)particles in-situ grown on the highsurface-area KJ600 carbon black with high electronic conductivity.The resulting Co-N-C catalyst exhibited high intrinsic ORR activity,fast mass transfer rate and high electronic conductivity,and thus yielded a remarkable peak power density of 0.92 W cm^(-2) in H_(2)-O_(2) PEMFC,which is comparable to state-of-the-art Fe-N-C catalyst.This strategy is helpful to synthesize highly active M-N-C ORR catalysts with improved mass transfer and electric conductivity.Ruixiang Wang Pengyang Zhang Yucheng Wang Yuesheng Wang Karim Zaghib Zhiyou Zhou 2020Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2020,30,6:4
16The normal numbers of the fuzzy systems and their classes显示文摘R-fuzzy set is defined in this paper, which is regarded as the generalization of the Zadeh fuzzy set. By means of CRI method, some fuzzy systems are constructed by suitably using several kinds of R-fuzzy sets as fuzzy inference antecedents, such as interpolation fuzzy system, Bernstein fuzzy system, Lagrange fuzzy system and Hermite fuzzy system. A notion of the normal number of the fuzzy system is defined here, we have shown that all fuzzy systems are able to be classified as three classes such as the normal fuzzy systems, the regular fuzzy systems and the singular fuzzy systems under the significance of the normal numbers of fuzzy systems. 17Clonogenic colony-forming ability of hepatic stem cells in the spleens of mice显示文摘To confirm the existence of hepatic stem cells (HSCs), fetal liver cells isolated from mice on embryonic day 13 (ED13) were long-term cultured in vitro. Growth of the cells was observed intensively and characteristics were iden-tified by immunocytochemistry. The results showed that some of the cells grew as colonies, in which some cells ex-pressed AFP, CD34 and Albumin. Then the cells were trans-planted intravenously into irradiated syngeneic mice. At day 12 a number of small hyperplasia nodules were seen in the apparently enlarged spleens of recipient mice. 20Identification of PAL genes related to anthocyanin synthesis in tea plants and its correlation with anthocyanin content显示文摘The phenylalanine ammonia-lyase(PAL)gene family in tea plants(Camellia sinensis L.)encodes the enzyme that catalyzes the first reaction of the phenylpropane metabolic pathway.The present study aimed to characterize the PAL genes in tea plants,and get better insights on the CsPALs in anthocyanins accumulation.Seven CsPAL genes were identified and characterized in tea plants by bioinformatics analysis.Systematic analysis of CsPALs was conducted for its phylogenetic relationship,gene structure,chromosomal location,and protein conserved motifs based on tea plant genome.The cis-elements of CsPALs were responsive to light,abiotic stress,hormone,and MYB-binding site.Furthermore,tissuespecific expression analysis showed that CsPAL4 was expressed preferentially in young leaves and buds.Correlation analysis was performed in purple-leaf tea with anthocyanin components,and it was suggested that CsPAL4 was closely related with different anthocyanin accumulated,especially with cyanidin 3-O-galactoside,cyanidin 3-O-glucoside,and delphinidin 3-O-glucoside.Additionally,the putative upstream regulation factors CsMYBs(CsMYB59,CsARR1,CsSRM1,CsMYB101,and CsMYB52)and CsbHLHs(CsbHLH104,CsbHLH3,CsbIM1,CsTCP14,and CsPIF4)could bind to the promoter of CsPALs,thereby activating its transcription.This study provides a theoretical basis for further research to elucidate the functions of the CsPAL genes.Xuejin Chen Pengjie Wang Mengya Gu Binghao Hou Churan Zhang Yucheng Zheng Yun Sun Shan Jin Naixing Ye 2022Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,3:4
