| 1 | A Survey of Bitmap Index Compression Algorithms for Big Data显示文摘With the growing popularity of Internet applications and the widespread use of mobile Internet, Internet traffic has maintained rapid growth over the past two decades. Internet Traffic Archival Systems(ITAS) for packets or flow records have become more and more widely used in network monitoring, network troubleshooting, and user behavior and experience analysis. Among the three key technologies in ITAS, we focus on bitmap index compression algorithm and give a detailed survey in this paper. The current state-of-the-art bitmap index encoding schemes include: BBC, WAH, PLWAH, EWAH, PWAH, CONCISE, COMPAX, VLC, DF-WAH, and VAL-WAH. Based on differences in segmentation, chunking, merge compress, and Near Identical(NI) features, we provide a thorough categorization of the state-of-the-art bitmap index compression algorithms. We also propose some new bitmap index encoding algorithms, such as SECOMPAX, ICX, MASC, and PLWAH+, and present the state diagrams for their encoding algorithms. We then evaluate their CPU and GPU implementations with a real Internet trace from CAIDA. Finally, we summarize and discuss the future direction of bitmap index compression algorithms. | 2 | Aeroacoustic and aerodynamic optimization of propeller blades显示文摘It is of great significance to develop a high-efficiency and low-noise propeller optimization method for new-generation propeller aircraft design.Coupled with free form deformation method,dynamic mesh interpolation technology,optimization algorithm,surrogate model,aerodynamic calculation and aeroacoustic prediction model module,the integrated aerodynamic and aeroacoustic design method of propeller is built.The optimization design for the six-blade propeller is carried out.The non-reduction in efficiency,thrust coefficient and the minimum of aerodynamic noise is treated as the optimization design objective.The spatial vorticity distribution of the propeller before and after the design is also analyzed by using unsteady computational fluid dynamics method.The results show that the optimized propeller can effectively reduce the aerodynamic noise level.The maximum total sound pressure level can be reduced by 5 dB without reducing its aerodynamic performance.The developed method has good application potential in low-noise optimization design of propeller and other rotating machinery. | Peixun YU Jiahui PENG Junqiang BAI Xiao HAN Xiang SONG | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,3: | 4 |
| 3 | Oxygen vacancies enriched nickel cobalt based nanoflower cathodes: Mechanism and application of the enhanced energy storage显示文摘The rational design of oxygen vacancies and electronic microstructures of electrode materials for energy storage devices still remains a challenge. Herein, we synthesize nickel cobalt-based oxides nanoflower arrays assembled with nanowires grown on Ni foam via the hydrothermal process followed annealing process in air and argon atmospheres respectively. It is found that the annealing atmosphere has a vital influence on the oxygen vacancies and electronic microstructures of resulting NiCo_(2)O_(4) (NCO-Air) and CoNiO_(2) (NCO-Ar) products, which NCO-Ar has more oxygen vacancies and larger specific surface area of 163.48 m^(2)/g. The density functional theory calculation reveals that more oxygen vacancies can provide more electrons to adsorb –OH free anions resulting in superior electrochemical energy storage performance. Therefore, the assembled asymmetric supercapacitor of NCO-Ar//active carbon delivers an excellent energy density of 112.52 Wh/kg at a power density of 558.73 W/kg and the fabricated NCO-Ar//Zn battery presents the specific capacity of 180.20 mAh/g and energy density of 308.14 Wh/kg. | 18 | RNF126 Quenches RNF168 Function in the DNA Damage Response显示文摘DNA damage response(DDR) is essential for maintaining genome stability and protecting cells from tumorigenesis. Ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like modi?cations play an important role in DDR, from signaling DNA damage to mediating DNA repair. In this report, we found that the E3 ligase ring ?nger protein 126(RNF126) was recruited to UV laser micro-irradiation-induced stripes in a RNF8-dependent manner. RNF126 directly interacted with and ubiquitinated another E3 ligase, RNF168. Overexpression of wild type RNF126, but not catalytically-inactive mutant RNF126(CC229/232 AA), diminished ubiquitination of H2 A histone family member X(H2AX),and subsequent bleomycin-induced focus formation of total ubiquitin FK2, TP53-binding protein1(53 BP1), and receptor-associated protein 80(RAP80). Interestingly, both RNF126 overexpression and RNF126 downregulation compromised homologous recombination(HR)-mediated repair of DNA double-strand breaks(DSBs).
