1Early Cretaceous Archaefructus eoflora sp. nov. with Bisexual Flowers from Beipiao, Western Liaoning, China显示文摘Recently, whether Archaefructus has bisexual multi-parted flowers or just inflorescences of unisexual flowers,and whether it is ancestral to all angiosperms or a derived eudicot have been debated. Here, from the same Yixian Formation, NE China, we report a new Archaefructus species, A. eoflora sp. nov., with the generic characteristics of dissected leaves and bisexual reproductive axes. It is entirely preserved with roots, rhizome, shoots and protogynous reproductive organs at different developmental stages. Its lateral and main fertile shoots form a pseudo-indeterminate pattern, while the reproductive branches on the main shoot form a cymose inflorescence. Subtended by 1-2 bract-like leaves, the section of stamen clusters changes into a much shorter section of carpels that have one row of orthotropous ovules. Significantly, one cluster bearing two carpels and one stamen between the two sections demonstrates a true bisexual flower, an important step of the origin of floral bisexuality, and the homology between the stamen and carpel. The complex reproductive axes represent a mix between flowers and inflorescences, and suggest that A. eoflora sp. nov.possesses the potential to evolve into a variety of diverse flower types as found in modem basal and early fossil angiosperms. 2Effects of Ce and Sb on the microstructure and properties of AZ91D magnesium alloy prepared by the EPC process显示文摘The effects of small amounts of cerium and antimony additions on the microstructure and the mechanical properties of AZ91D(Mg-9Al-Zn) based alloy were researched via the expendable pattern casting(EPC) process.The results show that the microstructure is obviously refined and the tensile strength of the AZ91D based alloy at ambient temperature is significantly improved.When compared to AZ91D,the AZ91D-1.0%Ce-0.4%Sb alloy has higher ultimate tensile strength and elongation.Its ultimate tensile strength and elongation are enhanced by 39% and 47%,respectively.The morphology of the tensile fracture of the AZ91D-1.0%Ce-0.4%Sb alloy has more characteristics of quasi-cleavage.This indicates that it has had a larger plastic deformation before failure.The tensile strength and elongation decrease with the increase of Ce and Sb contents because of the coarsening and volume increase of CeSb and Al11Ce3 phases.LI Jiqiang DONG Xuanpu FAN Zitian WANG Yuanqing 2008Rare Metals2008,27,1:19
3Hidden policy ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption with keyword search against keyword guessing attack显示文摘Attribute-based encryption with keyword search(ABKS) enables data owners to grant their search capabilities to other users by enforcing an access control policy over the outsourced encrypted data. However,existing ABKS schemes cannot guarantee the privacy of the access structures, which may contain some sensitive private information. Furthermore, resulting from the exposure of the access structures, ABKS schemes are susceptible to an off-line keyword guessing attack if the keyword space has a polynomial size. To solve these problems, we propose a novel primitive named hidden policy ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption with keyword search(HP-CPABKS). With our primitive, the data user is unable to search on encrypted data and learn any information about the access structure if his/her attribute credentials cannot satisfy the access control policy specified by the data owner. We present a rigorous selective security analysis of the proposed HP-CPABKS scheme, which simultaneously keeps the indistinguishability of the keywords and the access structures. 4Real-time and reliability analysis of time-triggered CAN-bus显示文摘Real-time performance and reliability are two most important issues in applications of time-triggered controller area network (CAN) bus systems at present. A scheduling matrix of time-triggered CAN-bus system is established using average-loading algorithm. Periodic messages are guaranteed to transmit without delay by distributing independent transmission windows within the system matrix. Considering the traditional CAN-bus transmission mechanism and the time-triggered feature, an algorithm is improved to calculate the worst-case delay of event-triggered messages in time-triggered CAN-bus systems. The failure probability is calculated for event-triggered messages whose worst-case delay exceeds their deadlines. Different levels of redundant structures of CAN-bus circuits are analyzed and the maintenance management is proposed to improve the system reliability. 5A Titanosaurian Sauropod Dinosaur with Opisthocoelous Caudal Vertebrae from the Early Late Cretaceous of Liaoning Province, China显示文摘We describe a new titanosaurian sauropod dinosaur, Borealosaurus wimani gen. et sp. nov., based on a distinctive mid-distal caudal vertebra from the early Late Cretaceous Sunjiawan Formation exposed in the Shuangmiao village of Beipiao in Liaoning, China. We provisionally refer an isolated tooth crown, a middle caudal vertebra, and a right humerus from the same locality and horizon to this taxon. Borealosaurus is distinguished from other sauropods in its possession of opisthocoelous mid-distal caudal vertebrae. 6Welding Deviation Detection Algorithm Based on Extremum of Molten Pool Image Contour显示文摘The welding deviation detection is the basis of robotic tracking welding, but the on-line real-time measurement of welding deviation is still not well solved by the existing methods. There is plenty of information in the gas metal arc welding(GMAW) molten pool images that is very important for the control of welding seam tracking. The physical meaning for the curvature extremum of molten pool contour is revealed by researching the molten pool images, that is, the deviation information points of welding wire center and the molten tip center are the maxima and the local maxima of the contour curvature, and the horizontal welding deviation is the position difference of these two extremum points. A new method of weld deviation detection is presented, including the process of preprocessing molten pool images, extracting and segmenting the contours, obtaining the contour extremum points, and calculating the welding deviation, etc. Extracting the contours is the premise, segmenting the contour lines is the foundation, and obtaining the contour extremum points is the key. The contour images can be extracted with the method of discrete dyadic wavelet transform, which is divided into two sub contours including welding wire and molten tip separately. The curvature value of each point of the two sub contour lines is calculated based on the approximate curvature formula of multi-points for plane curve, and the two points of the curvature extremum are the characteristics needed for the welding deviation calculation. The results of the tests and analyses show that the maximum error of the obtained on-line welding deviation is 2 pixels(0.16 mm), and the algorithm is stable enough to meet the requirements of the pipeline in real-time control at a speed of less than 500 mm/min. 7A New Ornithocheirid from the Early Cretaceous of Liaoning Province, China显示文摘Based on a nearly complete skeleton with skull from the Early Cretaceous of Liaoning Province, a new ornithocheirid pterosaur: Boreopterus cuiae gen. et sp. nov. is erected. Boreopterus cuiae is different from other pterosaurs preserved with skulls known from the western liaoning Province and its neighboring areas. This new pterosaur has more and larger teeth than those in other ornithocheirids. Its anterior nine pairs of teeth are larger than other teeth. The fourth pair of upper and lower teeth are slightly larger than the third pair. Overall, Boreopterus cuiae shows much small range of tooth size variation than Anhanguera piscator and Coloborhynchus robustus. 8Welding Polarity Effects on Weld Spatters and Bead Geometry of Hyperbaric Dry GMAW显示文摘Welding polarity has influence on welding stability to some extent, but the specific relationship between welding polarity and weld quality has not been found, especially under the hyperbaric environment. Based on a hyperbaric dry welding experiment system, gas metal arc welding(GMAW) experiments with direct current electrode positive(DCEP) and direct current electrode negative(DCEN) operations are carried out under the ambient pressures of 0.1 MPa, 0.4 MPa, 0.7 MPa and 1.0 MPa to find the influence rule of different welding polarities on welding spatters and weld bead geometry. The effects of welding polarities on the weld bead geometry such as the reinforcement, the weld width and the penetration are discussed. The experimental results show that the welding spatters gradually grow in quantity and size for GMAW with DCEP, while GMAW with DCEN can produce fewer spatters comparatively with the increase of the ambient pressure. Compared with DCEP, the welding current and arc voltage waveforms for DCEN is more stable and the distribution of welding current probability density for DCEN is more concentrated under the hyperbaric environment. When the ambient pressure is increased from 0.1 MPa to 1.0 MPa, the effects of welding polarities on the reinforcement, the weld width and the penetration are as follows: an increase of 0.8 mm for the weld reinforcement is produced by GMAW with DCEN and 1.3 mm by GMAW with DCEP, a decrease of 7.2 mm for the weld width is produced by DCEN and 6.1 mm by DCEP; and an increase of 3.9 mm for the penetration is produced by DCEN and 1.9 mm by DCEP. 9Constant Speed Control for Complex Cross-section Welding Using Robot Based on Angle Self-Test显示文摘Expandable profile liner(EPL) is a promising new oil well casing cementing technique, and welding is a major EPLs connection technology. Connection of EPL is still in the stage of manual welding so far, automatic welding technology is a hotspot of EPL which is one of the key technologies to be solved. A robot for automatic welding of '8' type EPL is studied. Four quadrants of mathematical equations of the 8-shaped cross-section track of EPL, consisting of multiple arcs, are established. Mechanism program for complex cross-section welding of EPL based on angle detection is proposed according to characteristics of small size, small valleys, and large forming errors, etc. A welding velocity vector control model is established by linkage control of a welding vehicle, a small driven actuator, and a height tracking mechanism. A constant speed control model based on an angle and symmetrical analysis model of rectangular coordinate system for EPL is built. Constraint conditions of constant speed control between each section are analyzed with 4 sections in first quadrant as an example, and cooperation work mechanism of the welding vehicle and the small tracking actuator is established based on pressure detection. The constant speed control model using angle self-test can be used to avoid the need for a precise mathematical model for tracking control and to adapt manufacture and installation deviation of EPL workpiece. The model is able to solve constant speed and trajectory tracking problems of EPL cross-section welding. EPL seams welded by the studied robot are good in appearance, and non-destructive testing(NDT) shows the seams are good in quality with no welding defects. 10New Azhdarchid Pterosaur from the Early Cretaceous of Western Liaoning显示文摘A nearly complete skeleton with a lower jaw of pterosaur from the Early Cretaceous of western Liaoning is described and assigned to a new genus, Eoazhdarcho gen. nov.. The new genus is characterized by a relatively small size, the ratio of the length to width of the middle series cervical vertebrae approximately 3.5 and the ratio of humeral length to femoral length approximately 0.96. 11Comparative analysis between endometrial proteomes of pregnant and non-pregnant ewes during the peri-implantation period显示文摘Background:Early pregnancy failure has a profound impact on both human reproductive health and animal production.2/3 pregnancy failures occur during the peri-implantation period;however,the underlying mechanism(s)remains unclear.Well-organized modification of the endometrium to a receptive state is critical to establish pregnancy.Aberrant endometrial modification during implantation is thought to be largely responsible for early pregnancy loss.Result:In this study,using well-managed recipient ewes that received embryo transfer as model,we compared the endometrial proteome between pregnant and non-pregnant ewes during implantation period.After embryo transfer,recipients were assigned as pregnant or non-pregnant ewes according to the presence or absence of an elongated conceptus at Day 17 of pregnancy.By comparing the endometrial proteomic profiles between pregnant and non-pregnant ewes,we identified 94 and 257 differentially expressed proteins(DEPs) in the endometrial caruncular and intercaruncular areas,respectively.Functional analysis showed that the DEPs were mainly associated with immune response,nutrient transport and utilization,as well as proteasome-mediated proteolysis.Conclusion:These analysis imply that dysfunction of these biological processes or pathways of DEP in the endometrium is highly associated with early pregnancy loss.In addition,many proteins that are essential for the establishment of pregnancy showed dysregulation in the endometrium of non-pregnant ewes.These proteins,as potential candidates,may contribute to early pregnancy loss.Haichao Zhao Linlin Sui Kai Miao Lei An Dong Wang Zhuocheng Hou Rui Wang Min Guo Zhilong Wang Jiqiang Xu Zhonghong Wu Jianhui Tian 2015Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,3:8
12Achieving strength-ductility synergy in cold spray additively manufactured Al/B4C composites through a hybrid post-deposition treatment显示文摘Cold spray additive manufacturing(CSAM) provides a potential solid state manufacturing route to fabricate variety of aluminum matrix composites(AMCs) with reduced possibility of undesired chemical reactions and residual thermal stresses. This study presents a hybrid(i.e. hot compression + hot rolling)post-deposition treatment to reinvigorate the mechanical properties of cold spray additively manufactured Al/B4 C composites. The as-deposited samples were initially subjected to 30% thickness reduction via hot compression treatment at 500°C followed by a hot rolling treatment with 40% thickness reduction in 2 passes. Electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM) results revealed that after hybrid post-deposition treatment(involving 70%accumulative thickness reduction), the aluminum grains in the matrix were extensively refined due to simultaneous operation of continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX) and geometric dynamic recrystallization(GDRX). Furthermore, interfacial defects were remarkably reduced while the nature of Al/Al and Al/B4C interfacial bonding was changed from sheer mechanical interlocking to metallurgical bonding which facilitated efficient transference of applied load to uniformly dispersed bimodal B4C particles. 14Influence of mechanical vibration on the solidification of a lost foam cast 356 alloy显示文摘Mechanical vibration was applied to the solidification of a lost foam cast(LFC) 356 aluminum alloy.Effects of mechanical vibration,with different peak acceleration,on the size and morphology of α-Al phase,and also on the mechanical properties of the castings were studied.Results indicated that α-Al dendrites gradually grow into equiaxed grains as the peak acceleration of vibration is increased.When the peak acceleration is between about 1 to 4 g,α-Al phase distribution is uniform and is refined obviously.α-Al dendrites are reduced and the mechanical properties of the castings are improved significantly when compared to those of the castings that are produced without vibration.However,when the peak acceleration is higher than 4 g,strong vibration will lead to defects formation,such as sand adhesion,while the amount and size of pores will be increased.And due to the turbulent flow that caused by strong vibration,the chance of forming large pores in the matrix has been increased significantly.The increase in defects will result in the deterioration of mechanical properties.Zhao Zhong Fan Zitian Dong Xuanpu Tang Bo Pan Di Li Jiqiang 2010China Foundry2010,7,1:7
15Multispectral image edge detection via Clifford gradient显示文摘The edge detection of a multispectral image with a mass of image information is theoretically expected to give a more accurate edge.Clifford algebra is more suitable for processing multidimensional data and expressing the data association than general algebra.First,the basic properties of Clifford algebra are introduced.Second,the Clifford algebra description of a multispectral image is introduced.Then,a novel multispectral image edge detection algorithm is proposed in terms of the Clifford gradient.In the first two experiments,comparison of the detail achieved by the new algorithm with that from the maximal entropy edge detection algorithm reveals that the edge detection based on Clifford gradient is better at retaining and identifying edge information of the multispectral image than the maximal entropy edge detection algorithm.The experiments using tuberculosis CT image show that the new algorithm has clinical value in reducing risk of misdiagnosis.XU Chen LIU Hui CAO WenMing FENG JiQiang 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,2:6
16Postcranial Anatomy of the Mesozoic Dalinghosaurus (Squamata): Evidence from a New Specimen of Western Liaoning显示文摘The postcranial skeleton of a new specimen of the long-tailed lizard Dalinghosaurus longidigitus was excavated from the Yixian Formation in Lingyuan, western Liaoning. The new specimen provides more anatomical information about this species, especially about the anterior dorsal vertebrae, shoulder girdle and forelimbs. This lizard can be included within the clade Scleroglossa by its 27 or more presacrals, moderately long pubis, and gently notched distal end of tibia. But the detailed systematic position for this taxon remains undetermined. 17Study on typical hole defects in AZ91D magnesium alloy prepared by low pressure lost foam casting显示文摘The hole defects can easily occur in magnesium alloy castings that are prepared by low pressure lost foam casting(LP-LFC)process when the process parameters such as vacuum,pouring temperature and f illing velocity are not properly selected.In this study,the forming mechanism of the hole defects in AZ91D magnesium castings by LP-LFC process was investigated.The shape,location and surface appearance of the hole defects were observed using optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy,and the chemical composition on the surface of the holes was analyzed using energy spectrometer.The result indicates that there are two types of hole defects,i.e.,the pyrolysis products related hole defects,including concentrative hole and blow hole defects,and slag related hole defects.The concentrative hole and the blow-hole defects were formed either by the liquidEPS degradation products entrapped in the molten metal under the condition that the pouring temperature is equal to or lower than 730℃,or by the hindered transport of EPS pyrolysis products.Some irregular shape hole defects were caused by slag or by coating slough entrapment when the pouring temperature is equal to 750℃and the f illing velocity is equal to or greater than 100 mm·s-1.To reduce or eliminate the hole defects,the vacuum and f illing velocity must be properly chosen to ensure that the metal front prof ile exhibits convex shape and in laminar current state,and the pouring temperature should be just high enough to ensure that the molten melt has adequate heat energy to complete the foam pyrolysis and to fully occupy the mould.For AZ91D magnesium castings in this study,the parameters should be 730℃pouring temperature,0.02-0.03 MPa vacuum and 80mm·s-1f illing velocity.Li Jiqiang Zhao zhong Fan Zitian Dong Xuanpu Shi Hualiang 2013China Foundry2013,10,4:5
18Ultraviolet irradiation induced oxidative stress and response of antioxidant system in an intertidal macroalgae Corallina officinalis L.显示文摘The response of the antioxidant defense system of an intertidal macroalgae Corallina officinalis L.to different dosages of UV-B irradiation was investigated.Results showed that superoxide dimutase (SOD) and peroxidase (POX) increased and then maintained at a relatively stable level when subjected to UV-B irradiation.Catalase (CAT) activity under medium dosage of UV-B irradiation (Muv) and high dosage of UV-B irradiation (Huv) treatments were significantly decreased.Ascorbate peroxidase (APX) activity first remained unaltered and then increased in Huv treatment.In addition,the assay on isozymes was carried out using non-denaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE).The activities of some SOD isoforms were altered by UV-B.Two new bands (POX V and POX VII) appeared upon exposure to all three UV-B dosages.CAT III activity was increased by low dosage of UV-B irradiation (Luv),whereas CAT III and CAT IV disappeared when the alga was exposed to Muv and Huv.Two bands of APX (APX VI and APX VII) were increased and a new band (APX X) was observed under Huv exposure.H 2 O 2 and thiobarbituric acid reacting substance (TBARS) increased under Muv and Huv treatments.Overall,UV-B protection mechanisms are partly inducible and to a certain extent sufficient to prevent the accumulation of damage in C.officinalis.Lixia Li Jiqiang Zhao Xuexi Tang 2010Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,5:5
19Losartan protects against intermittent hypoxia-induced peritubular capillary loss by modulating the renal renin-angiotensin system and angiogenesis factors显示文摘Obstructive sleep apnea is characterized by chronic intermittent hypoxia(CIH),which is a risk factor for renal peritubular capillary(PTC)loss,and angiotensinⅡreceptor blockers can alleviate PTC loss.However,the mechanism by which losartan(an angiotensinⅡreceptor blocker)reduces CIH-induced PTC loss and attenuates kidney damage is still unknown.Thus,in this study,we examined the protective effects of losartan against CIH-induced PTC loss and explored the underlying mechanisms in rat CIH model.The immunohistochemical staining of CD34 and morphological examination showed that CIH reduced PTC density and damaged tubular epithelial cells.Immuno-histochemistry,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),real-time quantitative PCR,and western blot analysis results revealed that CIH increased the expression of hypoxia inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α),angiotensinⅡ(AngⅡ),angiotensinⅡtype 1 receptor(AT1R),pro-angiogenesis factor vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),and anti-angiogenesis factor thrombospondin-1(TSP-1)in the renal cortex of rats.CIH may up-regulate VEGF expression and simultaneously increase TSP-1 production.By histopathological,immunohistochemistry,ELISA,RT-qPCR,and western blot analysis,we found that the expressions of renal renin-angiotensin system(RAS),HIF-1α,VEGF,and TSP-1 were decreased,and PTC loss and tubular epithelial cell injury were attenuated with losartan treatment.Losartan ameliorated CIH-induced PTC loss by modulating renal RAS to improve the crosstalk between endothelial cells and tubular epithelial cells and subsequently regulate the balance of angiogenesis factors.Our study provided novel insights into the mechanisms of CIH-induced kidney damage and indicated that losartan could be a potential therapeutic agent for renal protection by alleviating CIH-induced PTC loss.Jiqiang Wu Yao Chu Zhenxiu Jiang Qin Yu 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,1:5
20Large scale shaking table model test and analysis on seismic response of utility tunnel in non-homogeneous soil显示文摘Underground utility tunnels are the most fundamental and reliable lifeline network in urban cities,and are widely constructed throughout the world.In urban areas,most utility tunnels usually encounter the non-homogeneity of subsoil condition due to various construction effects.Studies have shown that the damage mechanism of shallow underground structures mainly depends on the inhomogeneity of the subsoil conditions.This would become a considerable factor for the stability of the underground utility tunnel structures.However,this type of research still needs to establish the vulnerable seismic design.In this study,a series of shaking table tests were conducted on non-homogenous soils to investigate the performance of seismic interaction between utility tunnels,surrounding soils and interior pipelines.The dynamic responses measured from the test account for the boundary condition of non-homogeneous soils,the internal forces,displacement of tunnel joints,the dynamic characteristics on interior pipelines and the reasonable spring stiffness with damping in the seismically isolated gas pipeline model inside the tunnel.The vulnerability of underground utility tunnel in non-homogeneous soil zone and the mechanism of the stability of interior facilities are the main topics discussed in this paper.Cho Mya Darli Tang Aiping Huang Delong Zhang Jiqiang 2021Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2021,20,2:5
