12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2Sevoflurane postconditioning protects against myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury by restoring autophagic flux via an NO-dependent mechanism显示文摘Volatile anesthetics improve postischemic cardiac function and reduce infarction even when administered for only a brief-time at the onset of reperfusion.A recent study showed that sevoflurane postconditioning (SPC)attenuated myocardial reperfusion injury, but the underlying mechanisms remain unclear,in this study,we examined the effects of sevoflurane on nitric oxide (NO)release and autophagic flux during the myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R)injury in rats in vivo and ex vivo.Male rats were subjected to 30 min ischemia and 2 h reperfusion in the presence or absence of sevoflurane (1.0 minimum alveolar concentration)during the first 15 min of reperfusion.We found that SPC significantly improved hemodynamic performance after reperfusion,alleviated postischemic myocardial infarction,reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide content loss,and cytochrome c.release in heart tissues.Furthermore,SPC significantly increased the phosphorylation of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (NOS)and neuronal nitric oxide synthase,and elevated myocardial NOS activity and NO production.All these effects were abolished by treatment with an NOS inhibitor NG-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME,10 mg/kg,i.v.).We also observed myocardial I/R-induced accumulation of autophagosomes in heart tissues,as evidenced by increased ratios of microtubule:associated protein 1 light chain 3 Ⅱ/Ⅰ,upregulation of Beclin 1 and P62,and reduced lysosome-assciated membrane protein-2 expression.SPC significantly attenuated I/R- impaired autophagic flux,which were blocked by L-NAME.Moreover,pretreatment with the autophagic flUX blocker chloroquine (10 mg/kg,i.p.)increased autophagosome accumulation in SPC-treated heart following I/R and blocked SPC-induced cardioprotection.The same results were also observed in a rat model of myocardial I/R injury ex vivo,suggesting that SPC protects rat hearts against myocardial reperfusion injury by restoring I/R-impaired autophagic flux yia an NO-dependent mechanism.Shi-gang Qiao Ying Sun Bo Sun An Wang Jia Qiu Lei Hong Jian-zhong An Chen Wang Hui-ling Zhang 2019Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2019,40,1:21

4Temporal variations and source apportionment of volatile organic compounds at an urban site in Shijiazhuang, China显示文摘Shijiazhuang,the city with the worst air quality in China,is suffering from severe ozone pollution in summer.As the key precursors of ozone generation,it is necessary to control the Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs)pollution.To have a better understanding of the pollution status and source contribution,the concentrations of 117 ambient VOCs were analyzed from April to August 2018 in an urban site in Shijiazhuang.Results showed that the monthly average concentration of total VOCs was 66.27 ppbv,in which,the oxygenated VOCs(37.89%),alkanes(33.89%),and halogenated hydrocarbons(13.31%)were the main composite on.Eight major sources were identified using Positive Matrix Factorization modeling with an accurate VOCs emission inventory as inter-complementary methods revealed that the petrochemical industry(26.24%),other industrial sources(15.19%),and traffic source(12.24%)were the major sources for ambient VOCs in Shijiazhuang.The spatial distributions of major industrial activities emissions were identified by using geographic information statistics system,which illustrated the VOCs was mainly from the north and southeast of Shijiazhuang.The inverse trajectory analysis using Hybrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory(HYSPLIT)and Potential Source Contribution Function(PSCF)clearly demonstrated the features of pollutant transport to Shijiazhuang.These findings can provide references for local governments regarding control strategies to reduce VOCs emissions.Yanan Guan Lei Wang Shujuan Wang Yihao Zhang Jieying Xiao Xiaoli Wang Erhong Duan Li'an Hou 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,11:19
5Evaluation of liver functional reserve by combining D-sorbitol clearance rate and CT measured liver volume显示文摘AIM: Our research attempted to evaluate the overall functional reserve of cirrhotic liver by combination of hepatic functional blood flow, liver volume, and ChildPugh′s classification, and to discuss its value of clinical application.METHODS: Ninety two patients with portal hypertension due to hepatic cirrhosis were investigated. All had a historyof haematemesis and hematochezia, esophageal and gastric fundus varices, splenomegaly and hypersplenia.A 2-year follow-up was routinely performed and no one was lost. Twenty two healthy volunteers were used as control group. Blood and urine samples were collected 4times before and after intravenous D-sorbitol infusion.The hepatic clearance (CLH) of D-sorbitol was then calculated according to enzymatic spectrophotometric method while the total blood flow (QToTAL) and intrahepatic shunt (RINs) were detected by multicolor Doppler ultrasound, and the liver volume was measured by spiral CT. Data were estimated by t-test, variance calculation and chi-squared test. The relationships between all these parameters and different groups were investigated according to Child-Pugh classification and postoperative complications respectively.RESULTS: Steady blood concentration was achieved 120 mins after D-sorbitol intravenous infusion, which was (0.358±0.064) mmoⅠ@L-1 in cirrhotic group and (0.189±0.05)mmol@L-1 in control group (P<0.01). CLH=(812.7±112.4) ml@min-1,QTOTAL=(1280.6±131.4) ml@min-1, and RINS=(36.54±10.65)%in cirrhotic group and CLH=(1248.3±210.5) ml.min-1, QTOTAL=(1362.4-±126.9) ml@min-1, and RINS=(8.37±3.32) % in control group (P<0.01). The liver volume of cirrhotic group was 1057±249 cm3, 851±148 cm3 and 663±77 cm3 in Child A, B and C group respectively with significant difference (P<0.001).The average volume of cirrhotic liver in Child B, C group was significantly reduced in comparison with that in control group (P<0.001). The patient, whose liver volume decreased by 40 % with the CLH below 600 ml@min-1, would have a higher incidence of postoperative complications. There was no strict correspondent relationship between CLH, liver volume and Child-Pugh′s classification.CONCLUSION: The hepatic clearance of D-sorbitol, CT measured liver volume can be reliably used for the evaluation of hepatic functional blood flow and liver metabolic volume. 6Growth induction of hepatic stimulator substance in hepatocytes through its regulation on EGF receptors显示文摘The cytosolic liver-specific growth factor-hepatic stimulator substance (HSS) has been shown to be able to amplify the rat hepatocyte proliferation responded to EGF. In order to get more insight into the mechanism, the regulatory effect of HSS on EGF-receptor(EGF-R) and the receptor phosphorylation at molecular level was studied. HSS partially purified from weanling rat liver was given to cultured hepatocytes and its influence on EGF-R specific binding and internalization as well as mRNA expression were investigated. The results showed that preincubation of hepatocytes with HSS could lead to an increase in [125I]-EGF binding to its receptors and inhibit EGFinduced receptor down-regulation. Furthermore, the overexpression of EGF-R mRNA stimulated by HSS was seen during 2-12 h after the incubation. Additionally, it was demonstrated with human hepatoma sMMC-7721 cells in Western blot that the EGF-R expression and the receptor autophosphorylation were increased with dose/timedependency after HSS treatment. 8Progress of applied research on TiO_2 photocatalysis-membrane separation coupling technology in water and wastewater treatments显示文摘Photocatalysis-membrane separation coupling technology has been a heavily researched area in water and wastewater treatment during recent years. The membrane separation process allows the photocatalyst to be easily separated, recovered and reused. More significantly, the membrane is efficient to maintain high flux of membranes as the photocatalyst can reduce the membrane fouling problem which is a hindrance in the development of membrane process. Moreover, some synergistic effects can also be produced, and thus the efficiency of water treatment is enhanced greatly. 10Effect of magma intrusion on the occurrence of coal gas in the Wolonghu coalfield显示文摘Chemical analysis, methane isothermal adsorption studies, and mercury porosimetry were performed on ten samples taken from the magma intrusion boundary in the Wolonghu coalfield. The physico-chemical properties of coals from the magma intrusion region are compared to those from the normal regions. The results show that the volatile content (Vad), the limiting adsorption constant (a), and the initial methane diffusion rate of samples from the magma intrusion region are generally smaller than those values from samples from the normal region. The number three coal sample from the magma intrusion region has a large vitrinite reflectance, well developed macropores, a small surface area, and weak methane adsorp- tion capacity. The number ten coal sample from the normal region has a small vitrinite reflectance, well developed micropores, a large surface area, and a strong methane adsorption capacity. The maceral of the coal samples from the magma intrusion region and the normal region are similar. 12Recent progress on the recycling technology of Li-ion batteries显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)have been widely applied in portable electronic devices and electric vehicles.With the booming of the respective markets,a huge quantity of spent LIBs that typically use either LiFePO_(4) or Li N_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z)O_(2) cathode materials will be produced in the very near future,imposing significant pressure for the development of suitable disposal/recycling technologies,in terms of both environmental protection and resource reclaiming.In this review,we firstly do a comprehensive summary of the-state-of-art technologies to recycle Li N_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z)O_(2) and LiFePO_(4)-based LIBs,in the aspects of pretreatment,hydrometallurgical recycling,and direct regeneration of the cathode materials.This closed-loop strategy for cycling cathode materials has been regarded as an ideal approach considering its economic benefit and environmental friendliness.Afterward,as for the exhausted anode materials,we focus on the utilization of exhausted anode materials to obtain other functional materials,such as graphene.Finally,the existing challenges in recycling the LiFePO_(4) and Li N_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z)O_(2) cathodes and graphite anodes for industrial-scale application are discussed in detail;and the possible strategies for these issues are proposed.We expect this review can provide a roadmap towards better technologies for recycling LIBs,shed light on the future development of novel battery recycling technologies to promote the environmental benignity and economic viability of the battery industry and pave way for the large-scale application of LIBs in industrial fields in the near future.Yuqing Wang Ning An Lei Wen Lei Wang Xiaotong Jiang Feng Hou Yuxin Yin Ji Liang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,4:10
13Treatment of nutcracker syndrome with spermatic vein ligation and iliac vein anastomosis:Case report of three cases显示文摘Three patients with nutcracker syndrome(NCS) were enrolled in the study.Their clinical symptoms mainly included proteinuria and serious varicocele.Color Doppler ultrasound and computed tomography showed that the patients had constricted abdominal aortas,reduced superior mesenteric artery angles,and thinned left renal veins.Patients then underwent left spermatic vein ligation and iliac vein anastomosis.They were checked tliree months after their operation,and results showed that their sperms were improved and their proteinuria disappeared. 14Large eddy simulation of flow in a street canyon with tree planting under various atmospheric instability conditions显示文摘In this work, a large eddy simulation (LES) model, which includes momentum and heat source (or sink) inside the tree planting layer, is proposed for the simulation of flow in a street canyon with tree planting. Vegetation canopy layer simulation shows that this model can be used to simulate the velocity distribution and temperature variation inside the canopy layer. Effects of atmospheric instability on flow and pollutant distribution in a street canyon with tree planting of an aspect ratio of 0.5 are studied. Results show that compared with the canyon with no tree planting (or the exposed street canyon), the canyon with tree planting shows a reduced wind circulation and pollutant exchange rate (PER) at the top layer of the street canyon, which induces the increase in the pollutant concentrations near road surface, leeward wall and windward wall. When street canyon atmosphere is under a strongly unstable condition, wind velocity decreases while pollutant concentration is increased in the areas near the street canyon top, road surface, leeward and windward walls, compared with the wind velocity in the street canyon with the neutral stratification. When street canyon atmosphere is under a weakly unstable condition, wind velocity weakens near the street canyon top and windward wall, but strengthens near the road surface and leeward wall, and pollutant concentration is decreased near the leeward and windward walls and is increased between the two rows of trees. 15A Geometric Understanding of Deep Learning显示文摘This work introduces an optimal transportation(OT)view of generative adversarial networks(GANs).Natural datasets have intrinsic patterns,which can be summarized as the manifold distribution principle:the distribution of a class of data is close to a low-dimensional manifold.GANs mainly accomplish two tasks:manifold learning and probability distribution transformation.The latter can be carried out using the classical OT method.From the OT perspective,the generator computes the OT map,while the discriminator computes the Wasserstein distance between the generated data distribution and the real data distribution;both can be reduced to a convex geometric optimization process.Furthermore,OT theory discovers the intrinsic collaborative-instead of competitive-relation between the generator and the discriminator,and the fundamental reason for mode collapse.We also propose a novel generative model,which uses an autoencoder(AE)for manifold learning and OT map for probability distribution transformation.This AE–OT model improves the theoretical rigor and transparency,as well as the computational stability and efficiency;in particular,it eliminates the mode collapse.The experimental results validate our hypothesis,and demonstrate the advantages of our proposed model.Na Lei Dongsheng An Yang Guo Kehua Su Shixia Liu Zhongxuan Luo Shing-Tung Yau Xianfeng Gu 2020Engineering2020,6,3:10
16High quality reference genome of drumstick tree(Moringa oleifera Lam.), a potential perennial crop显示文摘The drumstick tree(Moringa oleifera Lam.) is a perennial crop that has gained popularity in certain developing countries for its high-nutrition content and adaptability to arid and semi-arid environments. Here we report a high-quality draft genome sequence of M. oleifera. This assembly represents 91.78% of the estimated genome size and contains 19,465 protein-coding genes. Comparative genomic analysis between M. oleifera and related woody plant genomes helps clarify the general evolution of this species, while the identification of several species-specific gene families and positively selected genes in M. oleifera may help identify genes related to M. oleifera's high protein content, fast-growth, heat and stress tolerance. 18Arsenic uptake and transport of Pteris vittata L.as influenced by phosphate and inorganic arsenic species under sand culture显示文摘In order to understand the similarity or difference of inorganic As species uptake and transport related to phosphorus in As-hyperaccumulator,uptake and transport of arsenate(As(V))and arsenite(As(III))were studied using Pteris vittata L.under sandculture.Higher concentrations of phosphate were found to inhibit accumulation of arsenate and arsenite in the fronds of P.vittata.The reduction in As accumulation was greater in old fronds than in young fronds,and relatively weak in root and rhizome.Moderateincreases,from 0.05 to 0.3 mmol/L,in phosphate reduced uptake of As(III)more than As(V),while the reverse was observed at highconcentrations of phosphate(1.0 mmol/L).Phosphate apparently reduced As transport and the proportion of As accumulated in frondsof P.vittata when As was supplied as As(V).It may in part be due to competition between phosphorus and As(V)during transport.Incontrast,phosphate had a much smaller effect on As transport when the As was supplied as As(III).Therefore,the results from presentexperiments indicates that a higher concentration of phosphate suppressed As accumulation and transport in P.vittata,especially inthe fronds,when exposed to As(V);but the suppression of phosphate to As transport may be insignificant when P.vittata exposed toAs(III)under sand culture conditions.The finding will help to understand the interaction of P and As during their uptake process in P.vittata.HUANG Ze-chun AN Zhi-zhuang CHEN Tong-bin LEI Mei XIAO Xi-yuan LIAO Xiao-yong 2007Journal of Environmental Sciences2007,19,6:9
19Time-frequency characteristics based motion estimation and imaging for high speed spinning targets via narrowband waveforms显示文摘This paper focuses on the motion parameters estimation and inversed synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging for the high-speed spinning targets via the time-frequency characteristics. Assuming that the translational motion is compensated with the available motion compensation techniques, then the residual part of translational motion and the spinning motion are estimated with high precision based on the timefrequency characteristics. Combining with the procedure of the motion estimation, a novel coherent timefrequency spectrum intensity redistribution method, coherent single range Doppler interferometry (CSRDI), is proposed, which provides higher resolution and sustain lower signal to noise rate (SNR) than the current approach.
