| 1 | Creation of Triple Hierarchical Micro-Meso-Macroporous N-doped Carbon Shells with Hollow Cores Toward the Electrocatalytic Oxygen Reduction Reaction显示文摘A series of triple hierarchical micro-mesomacroporous N-doped carbon shells with hollow cores have been successfully prepared via etching N-doped hollow carbon spheres with CO_2 at high temperatures.The surface areas, total pore volumes and microporepercentages of the CO_2-activated samples evidently increase with increasing activation temperature from 800 to950 °C, while the N contents show a contrary trend from7.6 to 3.8 at%. The pyridinic and graphitic nitrogen groups are dominant among various N-containing groups in the samples. The 950 °C-activated sample(CANHCS-950) has the largest surface area(2072 m^2 g^(-1)), pore volume(1.96 cm^3 g^(-1)), hierarchical micro-mesopore distributions(1.2, 2.6 and 6.2 nm), hollow macropore cores(*91 nm)and highest relative content of pyridinic and graphitic N groups. This triple micro-meso-macropore system could synergistically enhance the activity because macropores could store up the reactant, mesopores could reduce the transport resistance of the reactants to the active sites, and micropores could be in favor of the accumulation of ions.Therefore, the CANHCS-950 with optimized structure shows the optimal and comparable oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) activity but superior methanol tolerance and long-term durability to commercial Pt/C with a 4 e--dominant transfer pathway in alkaline media. | 2 | An operation optimization method of a fully mechanized coal mining face based on semi-physical virtual simulation显示文摘A mathematical hydraulic support self-tracking model for three-machine cooperative mining is proposed to address low efficiency and difficulties in strategy evaluation of a fully mechanized coal face.The proposed model uses the coordinates and traction speed of the shearer to calculate the frequency of the circular hydraulic support and realize the coordinated operation of the three-machine mining technology.A unity3d hardware-in-the-loop simulation experimental hearer and hydraulic support platform was used to validate the model of autonomous follow-up.The results indicate that collaborative control of coal mining allowed for an efficiency 3.76%higher than under automatic operation mode and 46.03%higher than under manual control;thus,The mathematical model provided an improved production efficiency of the fully mechanized mining face.The mathematical model also provides a more intelligent and reliable security support,and improves the intelligent level of hydraulic support follow-up control. | Hengbo Shi Jiacheng Xie Xuewen Wang Juanli Li Xing Ge | 2020 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2020,7,1: | 3 |

| 4 | Gene duplication drove the loss of awn in sorghum.显示文摘Loss of the awn in some cereals including sorghum is a key transition during cereal domestication or improvement that has facilitated grain harvest and storage.The genetic basis for the loss of awn in sorghum during domestication or improvement remains unknown.Here,we identified a transcription factor gene awn1 encoding an ALOG domain,which is responsible for awn loss during sorghum domestication or improvement.awn1 arose from a gene duplication from chromosome 10 that translocated to chromosome 3,recruiting a new promoter from the neighbouring intergenic region filled with'noncoding DNA',and recreating the first exon and intron.The awn1 acquires high expr`ession after duplication and represses the elongation of awns in domesticated sorghum.Comparative mapping revealed a high collinearity at awn1 paralog locus on chromosome 10 across cereals and awn growth and development was successfully reactivated on the rice spikelet by inactivating rice awn1 orthologue.Further RNA-seq and DAP-seq revealed that as a transcription repressor,AWN1 directly bound to the motif in the regulatory regions from three MADS genes related to flower development and two genes DL and LKS2 for the development of awn,downregulated the expressions of these genes,and then repressed the elongation of awn.The preexistence of regulatory elements in the neighbouring intergenic region of awn1 before domestication signified that noncoding DNA may serve as a treasure trove for evolution during adaptation to a changing world.Our results supported that gene duplication can promptly drive the evolution of gene regulatory network. | Leina Zhou Can Zhu Xiaojian Fang Hangqin Liu Shuyang Zhong Yan Li Jiacheng Liu Yang Song Xing Jian Zhongwei Lin | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,11: | 2 |
