| 1 | Hardware/software co-verification platform for EOS design显示文摘Ethernet over SDH/SONET (EOS) is a hotspot in today's data transmission technology for it combines the merits of both Ethernet and SDH/SONET. However, implementing an EOS system on a chip is complex and needs full verifications. This paper introduces our design of Hardware/Software co-verification platform for EOS design. The hardware platform contains a microprocessor board and an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array)-based verification board, and the corresponding software includes test benches running in FPGAs, controlling programs for the microprocessor and a console program with GUI (Graphical User Interface) interface for configuration, management and supervision. The design is cost-effective and has been successfully employed to verify several IP (Intellectual Property) blocks of our EOS chip. | 5 | Compressed SNR-and-Channel Estimation for Beam Tracking in 60-GHz WLAN显示文摘Signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) and channel estimations are critical for 60-GHz communications to track the optimal transmission and reception beam pairs.However,the excessive pilot overhead for the estimations severely reduces system throughput in fast-rotation scenarios.In order to address this problem,we firstly demonstrate the potential sparseness property of 60-GHz channel in beam tracking;subsequently,via exploiting this property,we propose a novel compressed SNR-and-channel estimation.The estimation is conducted in a three-stage fashion,including the unstructured estimation,nonzero-tap detection,and structured estimation with nonzero-tap location.Numerical simulations show that,in the case of substantial reduction of the pilot overhead,the proposed estimator still reveals a significant improvement in terms of estimation performance over the scheme in IEEE 802.11 ad.Furthermore,it is also demonstrated that the proposed SNR and channel estimators can approach the lower bounds in sparse channels so long as SNR exceeds 8 dB. | GAO Bo ZHANG Changming JIN Depeng ZENG Lieguang | 2015 | China Communications2015,12,6: | 1 |
| 6 | An integrated self-healing algorithm for resilient packet ring显示文摘Resilient Packet Ring (RPR) is a Media Access Control (MAC) layer protocol that operates over a double counter-rotating ring network topology. RPR is designed to enhance Synchronous Digital Hierarchy(SDH) in order to handle data traffic more efficiently. Since Intelligent Protection Switching(IPS) is one of the key technologies in ring networks, RPR provides two intelligent protection algorithms: steering and wrapping. While wrapping in RPR in essence inherits the automatic protection switching(APS) algorithm of SDH, it also wastes the bandwidth on the wrapping ringlets and may result in severe congestion. Whereas steering in RPR provides high bandwidth utilization, its switching speed is low, because it is indeed a high layer's restoration algorithm. In this paper, integrated self-healing(ISH) algorithm as an effective algorithm for RPR is proposed, which synthesizes the merits of the two algorithms by transporting healing signal and computing routing in MAC layer. | 8 | Ginkgo biloba extract alleviates fatty liver hemorrhagic syndrome in laying hens via reshaping gut microbiota显示文摘Background Ginkgo biloba extract(GBE)is evidenced to be effective in the prevention and alleviation of metabolic disorders,including obesity,diabetes and fatty liver disease.However,the role of GBE in alleviating fatty liver hemorrhagic syndrome(FLHS)in laying hens and the underlying mechanisms remain to be elucidated.Here,we investigated the effects of GBE on relieving FLHS with an emphasis on the modulatory role of GBE in chicken gut microbiota.Results The results showed that GBE treatment ameliorated biochemical blood indicators in high-fat diet(HFD)-induced FLHS laying hen model by decreasing the levels of TG,TC,ALT and ALP.The lipid accumulation and pathological score of liver were also relieved after GBE treatment.Moreover,GBE treatment enhanced the antioxidant activity of liver and serum by increasing GSH,SOD,T-AOC,GSH-PX and reducing MDA,and downregulated the expression of genes related to lipid synthesis(FAS,LXRα,GPAT1,PPARγand Ch REBP1)and inflammatory cytokines(TNF-α,IL-6,TLR4 and NF-κB)in the liver.Microbial profiling analysis revealed that GBE treatment reshaped the HFD-perturbed gut microbiota,particularly elevated the abundance of Megasphaera in the cecum.Meanwhile,targeted metabolomic analysis of SCFAs revealed that GBE treatment significantly promoted the production of total SCFAs,acetate and propionate,which were positively correlated with the GBE-enriched gut microbiota.Finally,we confirmed that the GBE-altered gut microbiota was sufficient to alleviate FLHS by fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT).Conclusions We provided evidence that GBE alleviated FLHS in HFD-induced laying hens through reshaping the composition of gut microbiota.Our findings shed light on mechanism underlying the anti-FLHS efficacy of GBE and lay foundations for future use of GBE as additive to prevent and control FLHS in laying hen industry. | Xinyue Yang Depeng Li Meihong Zhang Yuqing Feng Xiaolu Jin Dan Liu Yuming Guo Yongfei Hu | 2024 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2024,15,1: | 0 |

However, proliferating mobile demands lead to several intractable challenges that MWN has to face. Software-defined network is expected as a promising way for future network and has captured growing attention. Network virtualization is an essential feature in software-defined wireless network(SDWN), and it brings two new entities, physical networks and virtual networks. Accordingly, efficiently assigning spectrum resource to virtual networks is one of the fundamental problems in SDWN. Directly orienting towards the spectrum resource allocation problem, firstly, the fluctuation features of virtual network requirements in SDWN are researched, and the opportunistic spectrum sharing method is introduced to SDWN. Then, the problem is proved as NP-hardness. | 14 | Rapid Acquisition of High-Quality SARS-CoV-2 Genome via Amplicon-Oxford Nanopore Sequencing显示文摘Genome sequencing has shown strong capabilities in the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic such as pathogen identification and virus preliminary tracing.While the rapid acquisition of SARS-Co V-2 genome from clinical specimens is limited by their low nucleic acid load and the complexity of the nucleic acid background.To address this issue,we modified and evaluated an approach by utilizing SARS-Co V-2-specific amplicon amplification and Oxford Nanopore Prometh ION platform.This workflow started with the throat swab of the COVID-19 patient,combined reverse transcript PCR,and multi-amplification in one-step to shorten the experiment time,then can quickly and steadily obtain high-quality SARS-Co V-2 genome within 24 h.A comprehensive evaluation of the method was conducted in 42 samples:the sequencing quality of the method was correlated well with the viral load of the samples;high-quality SARS-Co V-2 genome could be obtained stably in the samples with Ct value up to 39.14;data yielding for different Ct values were assessed and the recommended sequencing time was 8 h for samples with Ct value of less than 20;variation analysis indicated that the method can detect the existing and emerging genomic mutations as well;Illumina sequencing verified that ultra-deep sequencing can greatly improve the single read error rate of Nanopore sequencing,making it as low as 0.4/10,000 bp.In summary,high-quality SARS-Co V-2 genome can be acquired by utilizing the amplicon amplification and it is an effective method in accelerating the acquisition of genetic resources and tracking the genome diversity of SARSCo V-2. | Yi Yan Ke Wu Jun Chen Haizhou Liu Yi Huang Yong Zhang Jin Xiong Weipeng Quan Xin Wu Yu Liang Kunlun He Zhilong Jia Depeng Wang Di Liu Hongping Wei Jianjun Chen | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,5: | 0 |
