| 1 | Seasonal and inter-annual variations of length of day and polar motion observed by SLR in 1993―2006显示文摘A time series of length of the day (LOD) and polar motion (PM) were estimated from the range data measured by the satellite laser ranging technique (SLR) to LAGEOS 1/2 through 1993 to 2006. Com-pared with EOPC04 released by the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service (IERS),the root mean squares errors for LOD,X and Y of PM are 0.0067 milliseconds (ms),0.18 milli-arc-sec-onds (mas) and 0.20 mas,respectively. Then the time series are analyzed with the wavelet transforma-tion and least squares method. Wavelet analysis shows that there are the obvious seasonal and inter-annual variations of LOD and PM,but the annual variation cannot be distinguished from the Chandler variation because these two frequencies are very close. The trends and periodic variations of LOD and PM are given in the least squares sense. LOD changes with the annual and semiannual periods. The annual and Chandler variations for PM are also detected,but the semiannual motion for PM is not found. The trend rate of the LOD change in 1993―2006 is ?0.18 ms per year,and the difference from the well-known 1.7 ms per century showed that the trend rate is diverse in different periods possibly. | 2 | Digital zenith telescope prototype of China显示文摘Classical optical astronomy measures the direction of the local plumb line on the stellar background,and is influenced by variations of the earth gravity field.Therefore,classical optical astrometry can be used to measure and study variations of plumb line.This endows classical optical astrometric technologies special significance for the interdisciplinary researches of astronomy and geoscience,and makes them irreplaceable by technologies like very long baseline interferometry,satellite laser ranging.However,classical astrometric instruments have a major drawback of low efficiency,such as the low automaticity,more operating observers,and even operative error which makes it very difficult to reduce the random observation error in some visual instruments.To overcome this drawback,we have successfully developed the digital zenith telescope prototype(DZT-1)with the aperture of200 mm,using charge coupled device and other advanced technologies and new equipments.As proved by test observations,DZT-1 can observe thousands of stars over one night,which significantly reduces the random observation error and increases the observation accuracy.In addition,DZT-1 has a high degree of automation,even allowing unattended observation by remote control.Besides,DZT-1 has a small-size and is easy to move,making it convenient for mobile measurement of the deflection of the vertical.In summary,DZT can be widely used in the geoscience and astronomy fields. | Lili Tian Jinyun Guo Yanben Han Xiushan Lu Weidong Liu Zheng Wang Bo Wang Zhiqiang Yin Hongqi Wang | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,17: | 4 |
| 3 | Synthesis and Diameter-dependent Thermal Conductivity of InAs Nanowires显示文摘In this work, we synthesized high-quality In As nanowires by a convenient chemical vapor deposition method,and developed a simple laser heating method to measure the thermal conductivity of a single In As nanowire in air. During the measurement, a focused laser was used to heat one end of a freely suspended nanowire, with its other end embedded into a carbon conductive adhesive. In order to obtain the thermal conductivity of In As nanowires, the heat loss in the heat transfer process was estimated, which includes the heat loss through air conduction, the heat convection, and the radiation loss. The absorption ratio of the laser power in the In As nanowire was calculated. | 6 | Growth and Antimony Bioconcentration Characteristics of Wild Ramie(Boehmeria nivea)under Sb Stress in Different Valence States显示文摘[Objectives] To explore the effects of antimony(Sb) in different valence states on the growth and Sb bioconcentration and transfer of wild ramie(Boehmeria nivea). [Methods] A pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of Sb(Ⅲ) and Sb(Ⅴ) stress on plant height, biomass, leaf SPAD value, Sb contents in various organs, Sb bioconcentration and transfer factors, and other indexes. [Results] Both kinds of Sb treatments showed a trend of 'first increasing and then decreasing' in plant height as Sb concentration increased. The plant heights in Sb(Ⅲ) treatments with a concentration lower than 1 000 mg/kg and Sb(Ⅴ) treatments with concentrations lower than 4 000 mg/kg were significantly higher than that of the control check(CK);and the Sb(Ⅲ) treatment of the high concentration(4 000 mg/kg) resulted in a significant decrease in plant height, while the 8 000 mg/kg Sb(Ⅴ) treatment still showed an increase in plant height, indicating that the toxicity of Sb(Ⅴ) to wild ramie was significantly lower than that of Sb(Ⅲ). The Sb(Ⅲ) treatments with a concentration lower than 2 000 mg/kg had little effect on the dry weight of the aboveground part, while the treatment with a higher concentration showed a significant decrease;and the dry weights in various concentrations of Sb(Ⅴ) treatments showed no significant differences, but they were significantly higher than the CK and corresponding concentration of Sb(Ⅲ) treatment. Both types of Sb stress could promote the increase of SPAD value in wild ramie leaves, and the performance was significantly higher than the CK. As the concentration of Sb treatment increased, the Sb content in both the aboveground and underground parts showed a significant increase;and the comparison of Sb content under corresponding concentrations of the two types of Sb treatments showed that in the aboveground part, Sb(Ⅲ) was higher than Sb(Ⅴ), while in the underground part, the opposite was true. The bioconcentration factor(BF) of Sb decreased with the increase of Sb treatment concentration overall, and the value of Sb(Ⅴ) was smaller than that of Sb(Ⅲ), but both kinds of Sb stress were significantly smaller than the CK. The transfer factor(TF) of Sb in wild ramie showed a trend of 'increasing first and then decreasing' with the concentration of Sb treatment, and various treatments of Sb(Ⅲ) were higher than the CK, with significant differences, while among various treatments of Sb(Ⅴ), except treatment B3, the reduction of which was not significant, other Sb(Ⅴ) treatments showed significant decreases. Comparing the two types of Sb treatments, the BF and TF values of Sb in wild ramie under Sb(Ⅲ) treatments were higher than those under Sb(Ⅴ) treatments, and the TF reached a significant level, indicating that the Sb transport ability of wild ramie under Sb(Ⅲ) treatments was stronger. | 7 | An integrated flexible self-healing Zn-ion battery using dendrite-suppressible hydrogel electrolyte and free-standing electrodes for wearable electronics显示文摘Among many aqueous batteries,flexible zinc-ion(Zn-ion)battery becomes the focus owing to the merits of low cost,non-toxicity,and safety.Here,a Zn dendrite-suppressible hydrogel electrolyte with both flexible and self-healing properties is developed via photoinitiated polymerization.The cross-linked structure of the polyacrylamide-N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide(PAM-MBA)-Zn/Mn hydrogel endows an enlarged chemical stable window,high ionic conductivity,and low polarization potential.After cycling at the current density of 0.5 mA·cm^(−2)for 250 h,Zn‖Zn symmetrical cell based on PAM-MBA-Zn/Mn electrolyte delivers a low polarization of 40 mV.The suppressed dendrite growth is ascribed to the uniform Zn deposition/stripping on anode.The galvanostatic intermittent titration technique curves display that the Zn-ion battery constructed by the PAM-MBA-Zn/Mn hydrogel electrolyte,free-standing FeVO_(4)/carbon cloth cathode,and Zn nanosheets/carbon cloth anode presents low reaction resistance and fast diffusion coefficient,indicating good endurance of cycling at high current densities.The battery with PAM-MBA-Zn/Mn hydrogel electrolyte presents a good flexible and self-healing performance.After bending 0°,60°,90°,and 180°for 30 times,batteries deliver stable capacities.Even cutting into ten pieces,the battery could self-heal and display a potential retention of 93.7%compared to the fresh cell.A good rate-performance is also achieved.After cutting/healing three times during cycling,capacity recovers well compared to the first-time cutting/healing.Moreover,the battery exhibits good flexibility using in an electric watch,indicating a promising potential for wearable electronics. | Jiawei Long Tianli Han Xirong Lin Yajun Zhu Yingyi Ding Jinyun Liu Huigang Zhang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,8: | 0 |
| 8 | Predicting adsorption ability of adsorbents at arbitrary sites for pollutants using deep transfer learning显示文摘Accurately evaluating the adsorption ability of adsorbents for heavy metal ions(HMIs)and organic pollutants in water is critical for the design and preparation of emerging highly efficient adsorbents.However,predicting adsorption capabilities of adsorbents at arbitrary sites is challenging,with currently unavailable measuring technology for active sites and the corresponding activities.Here,we present an efficient artificial intelligence(AI)approach to predict the adsorption ability of adsorbents at arbitrary sites,as a case study of three HMIs(Pb(Ⅱ),Hg(Ⅱ),and Cd(Ⅱ))adsorbed on the surface of a representative two-dimensional graphitic-C_(3)N_(4).We apply the deep neural network and transfer learning to predict the adsorption capabilities of three HMIs at arbitrary sites,with the predicted results of Cd(Ⅱ)>Hg(Ⅱ)>Pb(Ⅱ)and the root-mean-squared errors less than 0.1 eV.The proposed AI method has the same prediction accuracy as the ab initio DFT calculation,but is millions of times faster than the DFT to predict adsorption abilities at arbitrary sites and only requires one-tenth of datasets compared to training from scratch.We further verify the adsorption capacity of g-C_(3)N_(4) towards HMIs experimentally and obtain results consistent with the AI prediction.It indicates that the presented approach is capable of evaluating the adsorption ability of adsorbents efficiently,and can be further extended to other interdisciplines and industries for the adsorption of harmful elements in aqueous solution. | Zhilong Wang Haikuo Zhang Jiahao Ren Xirong Lin Tianli Han Jinyun Liu Jinjin Li | 2021 | npj Computational Materials2021,,1: | 0 |
