1Biodegradation of acrylamide by Enterobacter aerogenes isolated from wastewater in Thailand显示文摘A widespread use of acrylamide,probably a neurotoxicant and carcinogen,in various industrial processes has led to environmental contamination.Fortunately,some microorganisms are able to derive energy from acrylamide.In the present work,we reported the isolation and characterization of a novel acrylamide-degrading bacterium from domestic wastewater in Chonburi,Thailand.The strain grew well in the presence of acrylamide as 0.5% (W/V),at pH 6.0 to 9.0 and 25°C.Identification based on biochemical characteristics and 16S rRNA gene sequence identified the strain as Enterobacter aerogenes.Degradation of acrylamide to acrylic acid started in the late logarithmic growth phase as a biomass-dependent pattern.Specificity of cell-free supernatant towards amides completely degraded butyramide and urea and 86% of lactamide.Moderate degradation took place in other amides with that by formamide > benzamide > acetamide > cyanoacetamide > propionamide.No degradation was detected in the reactions of N,N-methylene bisacrylamide,sodium azide,thioacetamide,and iodoacetamide.These results highlighted the potential of this bacterium in the cleanup of acrylamide/amide in the environment.Kanokhathai Buranasilp Jittima Charoenpanich 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,3:7
2TiO_(2)负载的高分散Cd团簇催化剂高效催化CO_(2)加氢制甲醇显示文摘近年来,利用可再生能源分解水制氢进而开展二氧化碳资源化利用的研究引起了学术界和工业界的极大兴趣.科学层面上它暗合了自然光合作用的理念;应用层面上它把二氧化碳变废为宝,既可以得到人类必需的含碳化学品,又可以实现碳中和.甲醇被认为是二氧化碳资源化的最佳选择,可在动力、交通、化工等领域替代煤炭等传统化石能源,也是良好的载氢分子,还可作为基础原料生产烯烃、芳烃等大宗化学品.美国南加州大学Olah教授和中国科学院顾问施春风教授曾先后提出“甲醇经济”和“液态阳光”,系统阐述了上述理念.针对CO_(2)加氢制甲醇过程,开发高效的催化剂仍是当前亟需解决的关键技术.目前研究较多的铜基催化剂和氧化物催化剂存在转化率和选择性难以兼顾的问题,近期报道的钴基催化剂等又存在副产物甲烷较高的不足.本文报道了一种全新的Cd/TiO_(2)催化剂,其催化CO_(2)加氢的转化率达到15.8%,甲醇选择性达到81%,甲烷选择性控制在0.7%以下,是目前报道的综合性能最优的催化剂之一.实验发现,Cd在不同载体上催化性能差异极大,Cd/TiO_(2)表现出最佳催化性能,单一的Cd或TiO_(2)几乎没有活性,说明Cd和TiO_(2)产生了强烈的相互作用.TiO_(2)载体上Cd含量优化实验表明,随着Cd含量增加,CO_(2)加氢活性和甲醇选择性均呈现上升趋势,至3.5%含量时均达极大值;继续增加Cd含量时,活性和选择性略有下降.催化剂的结构表征结果表明,0.35%Cd/TiO_(2)催化剂中Cd主要以单位点形式存在,3.5%Cd/TiO_(2)催化剂中Cd主要以团簇形式存在,7%Cd/TiO_(2)催化剂中Cd则以单位点、团簇及纳米颗粒共存状态存在.X射线光电子能谱结果表明,0.35%Cd/TiO_(2)和3.5%Cd/TiO_(2)催化剂中单位点Cd和团簇Cd表现为+2价,而7%Cd/TiO_(2)催化剂中Cd表现为零价,这可能是因为7%Cd/TiO_(2)催化剂中Cd主要以金属颗粒形式存在.X射线精细结构衍射谱结果表明,Cd团簇除了与Cd单位点相同的Cd-O键外,还有少量Cd-Cd键,从而表现出独特的电子性能.原位红外实验表明,Cd/TiO_(2)催化剂上CO_(2)加氢经过HCOO*中间体生成甲醇,通过DFT计算发现,TiO_(2)负载Cd团簇模型上CO_(2)加氢生成甲醇的决速步能垒只有TiO_(2)负载单位点Cd模型上的一半,证明了TiO_(2)负载Cd团簇是催化反应的活性中心.王集杰 Jittima Meeprasert 韩哲 王欢 冯振东 汤驰洲 沙峰 唐珊 李冠娜 Evgeny A.Pidko 李灿 2022Chinese Journal of Catalysis2022,43,3:3
3Hyaluronic acid-based hydrogels with tobacco mosaic virus containing cell adhesive peptide induce bone repair in normal and osteoporotic rats显示文摘Tobacco mosaic virus(TMV)has been studied as a multi-functional agent for bone tissue engineering.An osteo-inductive effect of wild-type TMV has been reported,as it can significantly enhance the bone differentiation potential of bone marrow stromal cells both on a two-dimensional substrate and in a three-dimensional(3D)hydrogel system.A TMV mutant(TMV-RGD1)was created which featured the adhesion peptide arginyl-glycyl-aspartic acid(RGD),the most common peptide motif responsible for cell adhesion to the extracellular matrix,on the surface of the virus particle to enhance the bio-functionality of the scaffold material.We hypothesised that the incorporation of either wild-type TMV or TMV-RGD1 in the 3D hydrogel scaffold would induce bone healing in critical size defects of the cranial segmental bone.We have previously tested the virus-functionalised scaffolds,in vitro,with a hyaluronic acid-based system as an in-situ hydrogel platform for 3D cell encapsulation,culture,and differentiation.The results of these experiments suggested the potential of the virus-functionalised hydrogel to promote in vitro stem cell differentiation.The hydrogel-forming system we employed was shown to be safe and biocompatible in vivo.Here,we further explored the physiological responses regarding bone regeneration of a calvarial defect in both normal and osteoporotic ovariectomized rat models.Our results,based on histological analysis in both animal models,suggested that both wild-type TMV and TMV-RGD1 functionalised hydrogels could accelerate bone regeneration,without systemic toxicity,evaluated by blood counts.New bone formation was intensified by the incorporation of the RGD-mutant viral particles.This finding increased the potential for use of the rodshaped plant virus as a platform for the addition of powerful biofunctionality for tissue engineering applications.This study was approved by the Ethics Committee on Animal Use of the Zhenjiang Affiliated First People’s Hospital affiliated to Jiangsu University.Jishan Yuan Panita Maturavongsadit Zhihui Zhou Bin Lv Yuan Lin Jia Yang Jittima Amie Luckanagul 2020Biomaterials Translational2020,1,1:2
4人造园林中斑文鸟和白腰文鸟的巢址选择显示文摘巢址选择对保证鸟类生存和繁殖成功、降低被捕食率和种间竞争至关重要。2016—2017年,在中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园选取3个研究区域对同域分布的斑文鸟Lonchura punctulata和白腰文鸟Lonchura striata进行调查。在记录的15个巢址特征因子中,14个数值型因子用于拟合Logistic回归模型,找出影响文鸟巢址选择的关键因子;使用独立样本t检验和Mann-Whitney U检验比较2种文鸟在巢址特征因子选择上的差异性;置换检验(Permutation test)用于检验2种文鸟对营巢树种选择偏好的差异性。研究发现,2种文鸟的巢址分布模式在3个研究区域中的差异很大。异种鸟巢间最小间距、营巢树胸径、营巢树与水源最近距离以及巢位高度都是影响巢址选择的关键因子。与白腰文鸟相比,斑文鸟通常选择在胸径更小、位置更高、距离异种鸟巢更远、距离水源更近的地方营巢。斑文鸟多选择枝条紧密的树,而白腰文鸟多选择枝干带刺的树营巢,这可能是二者不同的对抗捕食者的防御策略。孙楠 刘晨阳 KONGKASAWAT Jittima AYUTHAVEL Kalaimani TUN Nay Lin AWASTHI Balram 权锐昌 刘泽华 2020四川动物2020,39,3:2

9Osteogenic differentiation of encapsulated cells in dexamethasone-loaded phospholipid-induced silk fibroin hydrogels显示文摘The tissue engineering triad comprises the combination of cells,scaffolds and biological factors.Therefore,we prepared cell-and drug-loaded hydrogels using in situ silk fibroin(SF)hydrogels induced by dimyristoyl glycerophosphoglycerol(DMPG).DMPG is reported to induce rapid hydrogel formation by SF,facilitating cell encapsulation in the hydrogel matrix while maintaining high cell viability and proliferative capacity.In addition,DMPG can be used for liposome formulations in entrapping drug molecules.Dexamethasone(Dex)was loaded into the DMPG-induced SF hydrogels together with human osteoblast-like SaOS-2 cells,then the osteogenic differentiation of the entrapped cells was evaluated in vitro and compared to cells cultured under standard conditions.Calcium production by cells cultured in DMPG/Dex-SF hydrogels with Dex-depleted osteogenic medium was equivalent to that of cells cultured in conventional osteogenic medium containing Dex.The extended-release of the entrapped Dex by the hydrogels was able to provide a sufficient drug amount for osteogenic induction.The controlled release of Dex was also advantageous for cell viability even though its dose in the hydrogels was far higher than that in osteogenic medium.The results confirmed the possibility of using DMPG-induced SF hydrogels to enable dual cell and drug encapsulation to fulfil the practical applications of tissue-engineered constructs.Chavee Laomeephol Helena Ferreira Sorada Kanokpanont Jittima Amie Luckanagul Nuno M Neves Siriporn Damrongsakkul 2022Biomaterials Translational2022,3,3:1
