4Global analysis of lysine succinylation in patchouli plant leaves显示文摘Lysine succinylation is a novel,naturally occurring posttranslational modification(PTM)in living organisms.Global lysine succinylation identification has been performed at the proteomic level in various species;however,the study of lysine succinylation in plant species is relatively limited.Patchouli plant(P.cablin(Blanco)Benth.,Lamiaceae)is a globally important industrial plant and medicinal herb.In the present study,lysine succinylome analysis was carried out in patchouli plants to determine the potential regulatory role of lysine succinylation in patchouli growth,development,and physiology.The global succinylation sites and proteins in patchouli plants were screened with an immunoprecipitation affinity enrichment technique and advanced mass spectrometry-based proteomics.Several bioinformatic analyses,such as function classification and enrichment,subcellular location predication,metabolic pathway enrichment and protein−protein interaction networking,were conducted to characterize the functions of the identified sites and proteins.In total,1097 succinylation sites in 493 proteins were detected in patchouli plants,among which 466 succinylation sites in 241 proteins were repeatedly identified within three independent experiments.The functional characterization of these proteins indicated that the tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle,oxidative phosphorylation,photosynthesis processes,and amino acid biosynthesis may be regulated by lysine succinylation.In addition,these succinylated proteins showed a wide subcellular location distribution,although the chloroplast and cytoplasm were the top two preferred cellular components.Our study suggested the important role of lysine succinylation in patchouli plant physiology and biology and could serve as a useful reference for succinylation studies in other medicinal plants.Xiaobing Wang Xiuzhen Chen Junren Li Xuanxuan Zhou Yanting Liu Liting Zhong Yun Tang Hai Zheng Jiyun Liu Ruoting Zhan Likai Chen 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:2
5Characterization of NDM-1-producing carbapenemase in Acinetobacter spp.and E.coli isolates from diseased pigs显示文摘In recent years,the mobile metallo-β-lactamase(MBL)genes have been found to correspond to one of the most important resistance characters identified in Gramnegative bacteria,severely affecting clinical chemotherapy and threatening public health.The prevalence of mobile MBL genes and their flanking regions in Gram-negative bacteria from diseased pigs in China was investigated.A total of 334 lung samples from diseased pigs were screened for Gram-negative bacteria classified as non-susceptible to meropenem(MIC≥4mg·L^(–1)).Six isolates,including three Escherichia coli,two Acinetobacter baumanii and one A.calcoaeticus,exhibitedMBL production and carried the blaNDM-1 gene.S1-PFGE and Southern blot analysis showed that the blaNDM-1 gene was located on the chromosome of one A.baumanii isolate and on plasmids of various sizes in the other five isolates.MIC testing using broth microdilution revealed that all blaNDM-1-carrying isolates and some of their transconjugants exhibited resistance to almost allβ-lactams tested.Whole genome sequencing revealed that the flanking region of the blaNDM-1 gene from all porcine isolates had high levels of similarity with the corresponding regions in human isolates.One porcine E.coli isolate carrying blaNDM-1 was typed as ST48,a common sequence type in human E.coli isolates.These results suggest the possibility of human-tofood animal transfer of blaNDM-1-producing E.coli,highlighting the need for surveillance of carbapenemase producers among bacteria from food animals.In addition,the prudent use of antimicrobial agents to decrease the opportunities for co-selection of carbapenemase genes in food animals is also urgently needed.Rongmin ZHANG Yang WANG Zhihai LIU Jiyun LI Wenjuan YIN Lei LEI Congming WU Jianzhong SHEN 2015Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2015,2,3:2

8Simultaneously improving mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of as-cast AZ91 Mg alloy by ultrasonic surface rolling显示文摘Mg alloy casting parts commonly suffer from drawbacks of low surface properties,high susceptibility to corrosion,unsatisfactory absolute strength,and poor ductility,which seriously limit their wide application.Here,a surface nanocrystallization technique,i.e.,ultrasonic surface rolling(USR),was applied on an as-cast AZ91 Mg alloy sheet to improve its corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.The USR produces double smooth surfaces with Ra 0.036μm and gradient nanostructured surface layers on the sheet.Due to this special microstructure modification,the USR sheet exhibits 55%and 50%improvements in yield strength and ultimate tensile strength without visibly sacrificed ductility comparable to its untreated counterpart,as well as a 24%improvement in surface hardness.The USR sheet also shows good corrosion resistance in 3.5wt%NaCl aqueous solution.The corrosion current density of the USR sheet reduces by 63%after immersion for 1 h,and 25%after immersion for 24 h compared to that of the untreated counterpart.The enhanced strength and hardness are mainly related to the gradient nanostructure.The improved corrosion resistance is mainly ascribed to the decreased surface roughness,nanostructured surface,and residual compressive stress.The present results state that USR is an effective and attractive method to improve the multiple properties of Mg alloy cast-ing parts,and thus can be used as an additional and last working procedure to achieve high-performance Mg alloy casting parts.Jing Han Cong Wang Yuanming Song Zhiyuan Liu Jiapeng Sun Jiyun Zhao 2022International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,8:1

12Loading Localization by Small-Diameter Optical Fiber Sensors显示文摘Structural health monitoring(SHM)in service has attracted increasing attention for years.Load localization on a structure is studied hereby.Two algorithms,i.e.,support vector machine(SVM)method and back propagation neural network(BPNN)algorithm,are proposed to identify the loading positions individually.The feasibility of the suggested methods is evaluated through an experimental program on a carbon fiber reinforced plastic laminate.The experimental tests involve in application of four optical fiber-based sensors for strain measurement at discrete points.The sensors are specially designed fiber Bragg grating(FBG)in small diameter.The small-diameter FBG sensors are arrayed in 2-D on the laminate surface.The testing results indicate that the loading position could be detected by the proposed method.Using SVM method,the 2-D FBG sensors can approximate the loading location with maximum error less than 14 mm.However,the maximum localization error could be limited to about 1 mm by applying the BPNN algorithm.It is mainly because the convergence conditions(mean square error)can be set in advance,while SVM cannot.Liu Rongmei Zhu Lujia Lu Jiyun Liang Dakai 2018Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2018,35,2:1

14Small-animal SPECT/CT imaging of cancer xenografts and pulmonary fibrosis using a 99m Tc-labeled integrin ανβ6-targeting cyclic peptide with improved in vivo stability显示文摘Integrin ανβ6 is expressed at an undetectable level in normal tissues,but is remarkably upregulated during many pathological processes,especially in cancer and fibrosis.Noninvasive imaging of integrin ανβ6 expression using a radiotracer with favorable in vivo pharmacokinetics would facilitate disease diagnosis and therapy monitoring.Through disulfide-cyclized method,we synthesized in this study,a new integrin ανβ6-targeted cyclic peptide (denoted as cHK),and radiolabeled it with 99mTc.The ability of the resulting radiotracer 99mTc-HYNIC-cHK to detect integrin ανβ6 expression in pancreatic cancer xenograffs and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis was evaluated using small-animal single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT)/computed tomography (CT).99mTc-HYNIC-cHK showed significantly improved in vivo metabolic stability compared to the linear peptide-based radiotracer 99mTc-HYNICHK.99mTc-HYNIC-cHK exhibited similar biodistribution properties to 99mTc-HYNIC-HK,but the tumorto-muscle ratio was significantly increased (2.99±0.87 vs.1.82±0.27,P <0.05).High-contrast images of integrin ανβ6-positive tumors and bleomycin-induced fibrotic lungs were obtained by SPECT/CT imaging using 99mTc-HYNIC-cHK.Overall,our studies demonstrate that 99mTc-HYNIC-cHK is a promising SPECT radiotracer for the noninya-sive imaging of integrin ανβ6 in living subjects.Hao Liu Liquan Gao Xinhe Yu Lijun Zhong Jiyun Shi Bing Jia Nan Li Zhaofei Liu Fan Wang 2018Biophysics Reports2018,4,5:0

16Microglial Depletion does not Afect the Laterality of Mechanical Allodynia in Mice显示文摘Mechanical allodynia(MA),including punctate and dynamic forms,is a common and debilitating symptom suffered by millions of chronic pain patients.Some peripheral injuries result in the development of bilateral MA,while most injuries usually led to unilateral MA.To date,the control of such laterality remains poorly understood.Here,to study the role of microglia in the control of MA laterality,we used genetic strategies to deplete microglia and tested both dynamic and punctate forms of MA in mice.Surprisingly,the depletion of central microglia did not prevent the induction of bilateral dynamic and punctate MA.Moreover,in dorsal root ganglion-dorsal root-sagittal spinal cord slice preparations we recorded the low-threshold Aβ-fiber stimulation-evoked inputs and outputs of superficial dorsal horn neurons.Consistent with behavioral results,microglial depletion did not prevent the opening of bilateral gates for Aβpathways in the superficial dorsal horn.This study challenges the role of microglia in the control of MA laterality in mice.Future studies are needed to further understand whether the role of microglia in the control of MA laterality is etiology-or species-specific.Quan Ma Dongmei Su Jiantao Huo Guangjuan Yin Dong Dong Kaifang Duan Hong Cheng Huiling Xu Jiao Ma Dong Liu Bin Mou Jiyun Peng Longzhen Cheng 2023Neuroscience Bulletin2023,39,8:0

19Modal analysis and pulse response of mobile hard disk head actuator arm assembly显示文摘Head actuator arm assembly (HAA) is the most important mechanical component of a mobile hard disk drive (HDD) and its shock dynamic response is a principal index of vibration resistance. In this paper,a finite element (FE) model is firstly developed in ANSYS of 2.5 inch (1 inch=25.4 mm) mobile hard disk. This model includes actuator arm,voice coil motor (VCM) and pivot bearing. The various step modal of HAA is calculated by FE model. Then the actuator arm vibration behavior is simulated with LS-DYNA procedure.
