6Gut-on-a-chip for exploring the transport mechanism of Hg(II)显示文摘Animal models and static cultures of intestinal epithelial cells are commonly used platforms for exploring mercury ion(Hg(II))transport.However,they cannot reliably simulate the human intestinal microenvironment and monitor cellular physiology in situ;thus,the mechanism of Hg(II)transport in the human intestine is still unclear.Here,a gut-on-a-chip integrated with transepithelial electrical resistance(TEER)sensors and electrochemical sensors is proposed for dynamically simulating the formation of the physical intestinal barrier and monitoring the transport and absorption of Hg(II)in situ.The cellular microenvironment was recreated by applying fluid shear stress(0.02 dyne/cm^(2))and cyclic mechanical strain(1%,0.15 Hz).Hg(II)absorption and physical damage to cells were simultaneously monitored by electrochemical and TEER sensors when intestinal epithelial cells were exposed to different concentrations of Hg(II)mixed in culture medium.Hg(II)absorption increased by 23.59%when tensile strain increased from 1%to 5%,and the corresponding expression of Piezo1 and DMT1 on the cell surface was upregulated.Li Wang Junlei Han Weiguang Su Anqing Li Wenxian Zhang Huimin Li Huili Hu Wei Song Chonghai Xu Jun Chen 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,1:0

8Deformation Characterization,Twinning Behavior and Mechanical Properties of Dissimilar Friction-Stir-Welded AM60/AZ31 Alloys Joint During the Three-Point Bending显示文摘The AZ31 and AM60 alloys were used for dissimilar friction stir welding(FSW)in this study.The microstructure characteristics of the joint and its three-point bending performance were investigated.The electron backscattered diffraction results showed that the grains in the nugget zone(NZ)were more uniform and refined to a certain extent after FSW,but the grain size of AM60 in the NZ was larger than that of AZ31.The texture was strong locally in the NZ and presented a symmetric distribution characteristic from the advancing side to the retreating side.There were special texture features in the joint,resulting in the occurrence of severe strain localization during the bending process compared with the base materials,which can be well explained by the calculated Schmid factor in terms of the assumed stress state for bending.The bending tests revealed that the joint presented good bending properties compared with AZ31 BM.The bending fracture morphologies suggested that the fracture tended to the NZ interface on the AZ31 side,which was mainly due to the higher SF for basal slip and dislocation concentration degree in the region,and the relatively lower bending strength of AZ31 metal.Junlei Zhang Han Liu Xiang Chen Qin Zou Guangsheng Huang Bin Jiang Aitao Tang Fusheng Pan 2022Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2022,35,5:0
