1Chemical characterization of size-resolved aerosols in four seasons and hazy days in the megacity Beijing of China显示文摘Size-resolved aerosol samples were collected by MOUDI in four seasons in 2007 in Beijing. The PM10 and PM1.8mass concentrations were 166.0 ± 120.5 and 91.6 ± 69.7 μg/m^3, respectively,throughout the measurement, with seasonal variation: nearly two times higher in autumn than in summer and spring. Serious fine particle pollution occurred in winter with the PM1.8/PM10 ratio of 0.63, which was higher than other seasons. The size distribution of PM showed obvious seasonal and diurnal variation, with a smaller fine mode peak in spring and in the daytime. OM(organic matter = 1.6 × OC(organic carbon)) and SIA(secondary inorganic aerosol) were major components of fine particles, while OM, SIA and Ca_2+were major components in coarse particles. Moreover, secondary components, mainly SOA(secondary organic aerosol) and SIA,accounted for 46%–96% of each size bin in fine particles, which meant that secondary pollution existed all year. Sulfates and nitrates, primarily in the form of(NH_4)_2SO_4, NH_4NO_3, Ca SO_4, Na_2SO_4 and K_2SO_4, calculated by the model ISORROPIA II, were major components of the solid phase in fine particles. The PM concentration and size distribution were similar in the four seasons on non-haze days, while large differences occurred on haze days, which indicated seasonal variation of PM concentration and size distribution were dominated by haze days. 2Lattice Boltzmann simulation of fluid flow through coal reservoir's fractal pore structure显示文摘The influences of fractal pore structure in coal reservoir on coalbed methane(CBM) migration were analyzed in detail by coupling theoretical models and numerical methods.Different types of fractals were generated based on the construction thought of the standard Menger Sponge to model the 3D nonlinear coal pore structures.Then a correlation model between the permeability of fractal porous medium and its pore-size-distribution characteristics was derived using the parallel and serial modes and verified by Lattice Boltzmann Method(LBM).Based on the coupled method,porosity(ф),fractal dimension of pore structure(Db),pore size range(rmin,rmax) and other parameters were systematically analyzed for their influences on the permeability(ф) of fractal porous medium.The results indicate that:① the channels connected by pores with the maximum size(rmax) dominate the permeability,approximating in the quadratic law;② the greater the ratio of r max and r min is,the higher is;③ the relationship between D b and follows a negative power law model,and breaks into two segments at the position where Db ≌2.5.Based on the results above,a predicting model of fractal porous medium permeability was proposed,formulated as k=cfrnmax,where C and n(approximately equal to 2) are constants and f is an expression only containing parameters of fractal pore structure.In addition,the equivalence of the new proposed model for porous medium and the Kozeny-Carman model k=Crn was verified at Db =2.0.JIN Yi SONG HuiBo HU Bin ZHU YiBo ZHENG JunLing 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,9:15
3Effects of NO_x and VOCs from Five Emission Sources on Summer Surface O_3 over the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei Region显示文摘The impacts of emissions from industry, power plant, transportation, residential, and biogenic sources on daily maximum surface ozone(O3DM) over the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei(BTH) region in North China in the summer of 2007 were examined in a modeling study. The modeling system consisted of the Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF) model and the photochemical dispersion model, CAMx. The factor separation technique(FST) was used to quantify the effect of individual emission source types and the synergistic interactions among two or more types. Additionally, the effectiveness of emission reduction scenarios was explored. The industry, power plant, and transportation emission source types were found to be the most important in terms of their individual effects on O3DM. The key contributor to high surface O3was power plant emissions, with a peak individual effect of 40 ppbv in the southwestern BTH area. The individual effect from the biogenic emission category was quite low. The synergistic effects from the combinations of each pair of anthropogenic emission types suppressed O3formation, while the synergistic effects for combinations of three were favorable for O3formation when the industrial and power plant emission source types coexisted. The quadruple synergistic effects were positive only with the combination of power plant, transportation, residential, and biogenic sources, while the quintuple synergistic effect showed only minor impacts on O3DMconcentrations. A 30% reduction in industrial and transportation sources produced the most effective impacts on O3concentrations, with a maximum decrease of 20 ppbv. 4Aerosol optical properties under different pollution levels in the Pearl River Delta(PRD) region of China显示文摘To clarify the aerosol hygroscopic growth and optical properties of the Pearl River Delta(PRD)region,integrated observations were conducted in Heshan City of Guangdong Province from October 19 to November 17,2014.The concentrations and chemical compositions of PM2.5,aerosol optical properties and meteorological parameters were measured.The mean value of PM2.5 increased from less than 35(excellent)to 35-75μg/m^3(good)and then to greater than 75μg/m^3(pollution),corresponding to mean PM2.5 values of 24.9,51.2,and 93.3μg/m^3,respectively.The aerosol scattering hygroscopic growth factor(f(RH=80%))values were 2.0,2.12,and 2.18 for the excellent,good,and pollution levels,respectively.The atmospheric extinction coefficient(σext)and the absorption coefficient of aerosols(σap)increased,and the single scattering albedo(SSA)decreased from the excellent to the pollution levels.For different air mass sources,under excellent and good levels,the land air mass from northern Heshan had lower f(RH)andσsp values.In addition,the mixed aerosol from the sea and coastal cities had lower f(RH)and showed that the local sources of coastal cities have higher scattering characteristics in pollution periods.Liuwei Kong Min Hu Qinwen Tan Miao Feng Yu Qu Junling An Yuanhang Zhang Xingang Liu Nianliang Cheng 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,1:3
5Designing of multifunctional and flame retardant separator towards safer high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Owing to unprecedented merits such as high theoretical capacity,superior energy density and low cost,lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)show a bright future both in scientific and industrial areas.Whereas,the inherent issues,including highly insulating character,undesired shuttle behavior and lithium dendrites growth,are seriously impeding its practical usage.Here,a metal-organic-frameworks(MOFs)derived N,S co-doped carbon nanotube hollow architecture confining with CoS_(2) nanoparticles(CoS_(2)/NSCNHF)modified separator is designed to surmount these obstacles.Compared with Celgard separator,this designed separator shows obviously enhanced flame retardancy,giving 73.1%and 53.0%reductions in peak heat release rate and total heat release,separately.Concretely,its hollow structure,conductive feature,electrocatalytic activity and Lewis acid-base interaction enable the efficient inhibition on shuttle behavior as well as boost in polysulfides conversion kinetics.The cell with modified separator delivers a high discharge capacity of 1,284.5 mAh·g^(−1).After running for 100 cycles,a discharge capacity of 661.3 mAh·g^(−1) is remained.Markedly,the suppression on lithium dendrites growth is also observed,manifesting the enhanced battery safety.Overall,this work may shed light on the effective usage of MOFs-derived hierarchical composite in achieving LSBs with high electrochemical performance as well as safety.Junling Wang Wei Cai Xiaowei Mu Longfei Han Na Wu Can Liao Yongchun Kan Yuan Hu 2021Nano Research2021,14,12:3
6Identification and characterization of the cellular subclones that contribute to the pathogenesis of mantle cell lymphoma显示文摘Mantle cell lymphoma(MCL)is a B-cell malignancy with poor clinical outcome and undefined pathogenesis.Development of clinically relevant cellular models for MCL research is an urgent need.Our preliminary observations lead the development of two novel hypotheses that we tested in this study:1.multicellular spheroid might be a unique growth mode of earlystage cells in MCL;2.MCL might be a polyclonal tumor.We made the following original observations that have not been reported:First,we have provided a new experiment method for enriching MCL early-stage cells and characterized the spheroid mode of growth as a unique feature of early-stage MCL cells in cell line as well as in clinical samples.Second,we have established a clinically relevant cellular model of MCL,the JeKo-1-spheroid cell line,that was highly enriched in early-stage sub-clones.JeKo-1-spheroid cells and the spheroid growing cells enriched from MCL patients exhibited comparably enhanced tumorigenic abilities and similar biological features.Third,Immunophenotypic analysis has revealed that MCL may be derived from precursor-B(pre-B),immature-B and mature-B cells,not only the mature-B cells as WHO classified in 2016.Fourth,MCL may be a polyclonal disease composed of CD19e/IgMe,CD19 e/IgMt,CD19t/IgMt three sub-clones,of which the CD19e/IgMt sub-clone might be the dominant sub-clone with the strongest tumorigenic ability.Fifth,CD19t/IgMe that differentiates MCL and normal B cells may represent a new marker for MCL early detection,minor residual disease monitoring after therapies and prognosis.Junling Tang Li Zhang Tiejun Zhou Zhiwei Sun Liangsheng Kong Li Jing Hongyun Xing Hongyan Wu Yongli Liu Shixia Zhou Jingyuan Li Mei Chen Fang Xu Jirui Tang Tao Ma Min Hu Dan Liu Jing Guo Xiaofeng Zhu Yan Chen Ting Ye Jianyu Wang Xiaoming Li H.Rosie Xing 2019Genes & Diseases2019,6,4:2

8In vivo mice brain microcirculation monitoring based on contrast-enhanced SD-OCT显示文摘In this paper,we proposed a contrast-enhanced homemade spectral domain optical coherence tomography(SD-OCT)method for monitoring of brain microcirculation.We used the polyethylene glycol(PEG)-ylated gold nanorods(GNRs)as a contrast-enhanced agent,obtained clearly 2D and 3D OCT images of blood vessels and dynamic changes of probes in mouse blood vessels.Owing to high scattering of the PEG-GNRs,more tiny blood vessels can be imaged and the OCT signal can be enhanced by 5.87 dB after injection of PEG-GNRs for 20 min,the enhancement then declined gradually for 60 min.Our results demonstrate an effective technique for the enhanced imaging of blood vessels in vivo,especially for studies of the brain microcirculation,which could be serviced for disease mechanism research and therapeutic drug monitoring.Shaozhuang Yang Liwei Liu Yixin Chang Ningning Zhang Kun Liu Liang Hong Bingling Chen Yue Zhao Rui Hu Junle Qu 2019Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2019,,1:2
9Magnetron sputtering deposition of silicon nitride on polyimide separator for high-temperature lithium-ion batteries显示文摘To date,lithium-ion batteries are becoming increasingly significant in the application of portable devices and electrical vehicles,and revolutionary progress in theoretical research and industrial application has been achieved.However,the commercial polyolefin separators with unsatisfying electrolytes affinity and poor thermal stability have extremely restricted the further application of lithium-ion batteries,especially in the high-temperature fields.In this work,magnetron sputtering deposition technique is employed to modify the commercial polyimide separator by coating silicon nitride on both sides.Magnetron sputtering deposition modified polyimide(MSD-PI)composite separator shows high thermal stability and ionic conductivity.More importantly,compared with the cells using Celgard separator,the cells with MSD-PI separator exhibit superior electrochemical performance,especially long-term cycle performance under high temperature environment,owing to the high thermal conductivity of surface Si3 N4 particles.Hence,lithium-ion batteries with MSD-PI separator are capable of improving thermal safety and capacity retention,which demonstrates that magnetron sputtering deposition technique could be regarded as a promising strategy to develop advanced organic/inorganic composite separators for high-temperature lithium-ion batteries.Can Liao Wei Wang Junling Wang Longfei Han Shuilai Qiu Lei Song Zhou Gui Yongchun Kan Yuan Hu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5:2

11Hierarchical mesoporous S,N-codoped carbon nanostructures composed of Co/Co-Cu-S/carbon nanoplate arrays on carbon nanofibers as a self-supported air cathode for long-lasting rechargeable Zn-air batteries显示文摘One of the primary roadblocks to widespread applications of rechargeable Zn-air batteries is the durability issue with oxygen reduction and evolution processes(ORR/OER)bifunctional electrocatalysts.We herein report the construction of a selfsupported air cathode for Zn-air batteries made of S,N-codoped porous complex carbon nanostructures of Co/Co-Cu-S/carbon nanoplate arrays and carbon nanofibers(denoted as Co/Co-Cu-S@SNPCP-CFs).The hierarchical heteroatom-doped mesoporous carbon nanohybrids with multiple active species not only provide a high surface-to-volume ratio,exposing more catalytic sites and accelerating the charge and mass transfer,but also boost the activity and durability.The Co/Co-Cu-S@SNPCP-CFs catalyst reveals a small potential gap(ΔE=0.67 V)between the half-wave potential of ORR and OER potential at 10 m A ccm^(-2),demonstrating outstanding bifunctional performance.Furthermore,the rechargeable Zn-air battery made with the as-obtained electrocatalyst exhibits a high-power density of 220 m W cm^(-2)and a long cycling time of over 800 h at 10 m A ccm^(-2),and the flexible solid-state rechargeable Zn-air battery based on Co/Co-Cu-S@SNPCP-CFs self-supporting air cathode also displays a long duration time of over 60 h.XU ZhuYing YAN Lei SHEN JunLing YANG XiaoJing NING JiQiang ZHONG YiJun HU Yong 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,3:2

16Early Cenozoic diorite and diabase from Doumer Island, Antarctic Peninsula: zircon U-Pb geochronology, petrogenesis and tectonic implications显示文摘In order to understand the petrogenesis and tectonic setting of diorite and diabase units on Doumer Island, Antarctic Peninsula, this paper reports new laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(LA-ICP-MS) zircon U-Pb, geochemical, and Lu-Hf isotopic data for the magmatism. The diorite and diabase samples yielded zircon U-Pb ages of 55.4 ± 0.3 and 52.8 ± 0.4 Ma, respectively. These samples are enriched in the large ion lithophile elements and the light rare earth elements, and are depleted in the high field strength elements. The zircons in these samples yield eHf(t) values from 9.03 to 11.87 and model ages(TDM2) of 342–524 Ma. The major, trace, rare earth element(REE), and Hf isotopic data for the diorites indicate that these units were formed by the mixing of magmas generated by(a) the partial melting of mantle wedge material that experienced fluid-metasomatism in a subduction zone setting, and(b) the melting of juvenile crustal material induced by the upwelling of mantle-derived magmas in a subduction–collision setting. The diabase units contain higher total REE concentrations than the diorite, indicating they were derived from a different source region. These samples also have higher Mg~# values and contain lower concentrations of Cr and Ni than the diorites, and have weakly negative Nb and Ta anomalies with Nb/Ta values of <3. The zircons in these samples yield eHf(t) values from 9.08 to 11.11 and model ages(TDM2) of 389–503 Ma. The major, trace, REE, and Hf isotopic compositions of the diabase units indicate that that they were derived from the mixing of depleted mantle-derived magmas with magmas generated by the melting of juvenile crustal material which was induced by the upwelling of the mantle into the crust. 17Comparisons of the Paleo-Mesoproterozoic large igneous provinces and black shales in the North China and North Australian cratons显示文摘Comparisons of large igneous provinces(UPs)and black shales from different cratons can provide important constraints on Precambrian paleogeographic reconstructions and a better understanding of the environmental effects of large-scale volcanic events.A comparison of intraplate mafic events mostly interpreted as LIPs or portions of LIPs(LIP fragments/remnants due to continental breakup or erosion)from the North China Craton(NCC)and North Australian Craton(NAC)shows good correlation in the age range from 1800 Ma to 1300 Ma,and four robust age matches at ca.1790-1770 Ma,ca.1730 Ma,ca.1680-1670 Ma and ca.1320 Ma have been identified.Most notably,the coeval ca.1320 Ma Yanliao LIP in the eastern-northern NCC and the Derim Derim-Galiwinku LIP in the NAC are also characterized by similar field occurences and dominantly subalkaline tholeiitic basalts and intraplate geochemical compositions,and are interpreted as portions of the same LIP,separated by continental breakup.Subsequent to 1300 Ma,the NCC and NAC exhibit very different magmatic histories,indicating that separation of these two cratons occurred,likely subsequent to the ca.1320 Ma LIP event.A comparison of Paleo-Mesoproterozoic black shales from the NCC and NAC provides further evidence for close connections between these regions during this period.Black shales of the Chuanlianggou Formation in the northern NCC and the Cuizhuang Formation in the southern NCC were deposited in the age range ca.1650-1635 Ma and can be correlated with ca.1640-1635 Ma black shales in the Barney Creek Formation of the NAC.Deposition of black shales within the Xiamaling Formation in the NCC and the Velkerri and Kyalla formations of the McArthur Basin in the NAC occurred synchronously at ca.1380-1360 Ma.Our results from matching of LIP ages and black shales combined with paleomagnetic data show that the northern-northeastern margin of the NCC was connected to the northern margin of the NAC from ca.1800 Ma to 1300 Ma.This long-lived late Paleoproterozoic to mid-Mesoproterozoic connection lasted for at least 500 million years until separation of the NCC from the NAC between ca.1320 and ca.1230-1220 Ma.Shuan-Hong Zhang Richard E.Ernst Tim J.Munson Junling Pei Guohui Hu Jian-Min Liu Qi-Qi Zhang Yu-Hang Cai Yue Zhao 2022Fundamental Research2022,2,1:1
