1Magnetic Array Assisted Triboelectric Nanogenerator Sensor for Real‑Time Gesture Interaction显示文摘In human-machine interaction,robotic hands are useful in many scenarios.To operate robotic hands via gestures instead of handles will greatly improve the convenience and intuition of human-machine interaction.Here,we present a magnetic array assisted sliding triboelectric sensor for achieving a real-time gesture interaction between a human hand and robotic hand.With a finger’s traction movement of flexion or extension,the sensor can induce positive/negative pulse signals.Through counting the pulses in unit time,the degree,speed,and direction of finger motion can be judged in realtime.The magnetic array plays an important role in generating the quantifiable pulses.The designed two parts of magnetic array can transform sliding motion into contact-separation and constrain the sliding pathway,respectively,thus improve the durability,low speed signal amplitude,and stability of the system.This direct quantization approach and optimization of wearable gesture sensor provide a new strategy for achieving a natural,intuitive,and real-time human-robotic interaction.Ken Qin Chen Chen Xianjie Pu Qian Tang Wencong He Yike Liu Qixuan Zeng Guanlin Liu Hengyu Guo Chenguo Hu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,3:5

3Light-induced irreversible structural phase transition in trilayer graphene显示文摘A crystal structure has a profound influence on the physical properties of the corresponding material.By synthesizing crystals with particular symmetries,one can strongly tune their properties,even for the same chemical configuration(compare graphite and diamond,for instance).Even more interesting opportunities arise when the structural phases of crystals can be changed dynamically through external stimulations.Such abilities,though rare,lead to a number of exciting phenomena,such as phase-change memory effects.In the case of trilayer graphene,there are two common stacking configurations(ABA and ABC)that have distinct electronic band structures and exhibit very different behaviors.Domain walls exist in the trilayer graphene with both stacking orders,showing fascinating new physics such as the quantum valley Hall effect.Extensive efforts have been dedicated to the phase engineering of trilayer graphene.However,the manipulation of domain walls to achieve precise control of local structures and properties remains a considerable challenge.Here,we experimentally demonstrate that we can switch from one structural phase to another by laser irradiation,creating domains of different shapes in trilayer graphene.The ability to control the position and orientation of the domain walls leads to fine control of the local structural phases and properties of graphene,offering a simple but effective approach to create artificial two-dimensional materials with designed atomic structures and electronic and optical properties.Jianyu Zhang Jinsen Han Gang Peng Xi Yang Xiaoming Yuan Yongjun Li Jianing Chen Wei Xu Ken Liu Zhihong Zhu Weiqi Cao Zheng Han Jiayu Dai Mengjian Zhu Shiqiao Qin Kostya S.Novoselov 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:2

6Switchable carbamate coagulants to improve recycling ionic liquid from biomass solutions显示文摘A reversible amine-carbamate approach has been developed to reduce the use of antisolvents such as water in the coagulation of biopolymers from ionic liquid(IL)solution and thus improve the economy of IL recycle.Cellulose and chitin were recovered from 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate([C_(2)mim][OAc])solution by introducing the miscible amines triethanolamine(TEA),ethylenediamine(EDA),or butylamine(BA)and bubbling CO_(2) at 40℃ and atmospheric pressure through the solutions to form carbamate salts in situ which resulted in biopolymer coagulation.BA gave the best results because of its low boiling point and low viscosity,which benefited both biopolymer recovery and IL recycle.Cellulose films and fibers could be formed by extrusion of an MCC/[C_(2)mim]-[OAc]solution into a coagulating bath comprised of a 1:1 M mixture of[C_(2)mim][OAc]and butylammonium butylcarbamate(BA-carbamate).The cellulose,IL,amine,and CO_(2) were easily separated,although the cellulose recovered required some water washings to remove traces of IL.Up to 96.4%of the[C_(2)mim][OAc]could be recovered,76.2%from the coagulation bath and 20.2%from the water washings.The recycled IL was suitable for another cycle of cellulose dissolution and extrusion and 84.6%of the IL used for the second cycle was recovered.Although further work is needed,not the least of which will be reducing the amount of water needed for washing steps,some promising features of this process point the way for new directions for more economically viable IL recycling processes in biomass treatment with ILs.Julia L.Shamshina Ying Qin Ken Belmore Daniel T.Daly Robin D.Rogers 2021Green Chemical Engineering2021,2,4:1

8Synthesis of nitrogen-sulfur co-doped Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx MXene with enhanced electrochemical properties显示文摘Through material innovation,nanoscale structural design and hybrid manufacturing methods,great efforts have been made in developing high-performance energy storage systems.These devices can be comprised of twodimensional(2D)nanomaterials,such as MXene,and show promise for use in energy storage devices.In order to achieve better electrochemical properties of MXene,one crucial technique is to modify its structure by introducing defects or heteroatom dopants,which may expand the interlayer spacing and increase the ion transfer kinetics during the charge/discharge process.Here,a modified two-step multi-element strategy is explored utilizing ammonium citrate as intercalant and nitrogen source to enhance the level of heteroatom doping during annealing of MXene with sulfur.The resulting nitrogen/sulfur co-doped MXene displayed enhanced gravimetric capacitance(495 F g^(-1) at 1 A g^(-1)),outstanding rate capability(180 F g^(-1) at 10 A g^(-1))and excellent cycle stability(98%retention after 6000 charge/discharge cycles).The synthesis of NS-MXene reveals a novel and facile multiheteroatom pathway for functionalizing Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx MXene and demonstrates the potential variety of this family of modified MXenes that has yet to be explored,as well as unveils great promise for use in applications such as high performance supercapacitors.Fangli Yang Dylan Hegh Dongxing Song Jizhen Zhang Ken Aldren S.Usman Chao Liu Zhiyu Wang Weigang Ma Wenrong Yang Si Qin Joselito M.Razal 2022Materials Reports(Energy)2022,2,1:1
