Comprehensive power-supply planning for active distribution system considering cooling, heating and power load balance显示文摘An active distribution system power-supply planning model considering cooling, heating and power load balance is proposed in this paper.A regional energy service company is assumed to be in charge of the investment and operation for the system in the model. The expansion of substations, building up distributed combined cooling, heating and power(CCHP),gas heating boiler(GHB)and air conditioner(AC)are included as investment planning options. In terms of operation, the load scenarios are divided into heating, cooling and transition periods. Also, the extreme load scene is included to assure the power supply reliability of the system.Numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model and illustrate the economic benefits of applying distributed CCHP in regional power supply on investment and operation.Xinwei SHEN Yingduo HAN Shouzhen ZHU Jinghong ZHENG Qingsheng LI Jing NONG 2015Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2015,3,4:24
Pressure balance and imbalance in the optic nerve chamber: The Beijing Intracranial and Intraocular Pressure (iCOP) Study显示文摘To determine the interdependence of intracranial pressure(ICP) and intraocular pressure(IOP) and how it affects optic nerve pressures, eight normal dogs were examined using pressure-sensing probes implanted into the left ventricle, lumbar cistern, optic nerve subarachnoid space in the left eye, and anterior chamber in the left eye. This allowed ICP, lumbar cistern pressure(LCP), optic nerve subarachnoid space pressure(ONSP) and IOP to be simultaneously recorded. After establishing baseline pressure levels, pressure changes that resulted from lowering ICP(via shunting cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) from the ventricle) were recorded. At baseline, all examined pressures were different(ICP>LCP>ONSP), but correlated(P<0.001). As ICP was lowered during CSF shunting, IOP also dropped in a parallel time course so that the trans-lamina cribrosa gradient(TLPG) remained stable(ICP-IOP dependent zone). However, once ICP fell below a critical breakpoint, ICP and IOP became uncoupled and TLPG changed as ICP declined(ICP-IOP independent zone). The optic nerve pressure gradient(ONPG) and trans-optic nerve pressure gradient(TOPG) increased linearly as ICP decreased through both the ICP-IOP dependent and independent zones. We conclude that ICP and IOP are coupled in a specific pressure range, but when ICP drops below a critical point, IOP and ICP become uncoupled and TLPG increases. When ICP drops, a rise in the ONPG and TOPG creates more pressure and reduces CSF flow around the optic nerve. This change may play a role in the development and progression of various ophthalmic and neurological diseases, including glaucoma.Ruowu Hou Zheng Zhang Diya Yang Huaizhou Wang Weiwei Chen Zhen Li Jinghong Sang Sumeng Liu Yiwen Cao Xiaobin Xie Ruojing Ren Yazhuo Zhang Bernhard A. 5Pathological changes in the lungs and lymphatic organs of 12 COVID-19 autopsy cases显示文摘Systematic autopsy and comprehensive pathological analyses of COVID-19 decedents should provide insights into the disease characteristics and facilitate the development of novel therapeutics. In this study,we report the autopsy findings from the lungs and lymphatic organs of 12 COVID-19 decedents—findings that evaluated histopathological changes;immune cell signature and inflammatory factor expression in the lungs, spleen and lymph nodes. Here we show that the major pulmonary alterations included diffuse alveolar damage, interstitial fibrosis and exudative inflammation featured with extensive serous and fibrin exudates, macrophage infiltration and abundant production of inflammatory factors(IL-6,IP-10,TNFo?and IL-I f).The spleen and hilar lymph nodes contained lesions with tissue structure disruption and immune cell dysregulation, including lymphopenia and macrophage accumulation. These findings provide pathological evidence that links injuries of the lungs and lymphatic organs with the fatal systematic respiratory and immune malfunction in critically ill COVID-19 patients.Qian Liu Yu Shi Jun Cai Yaqi Duan Rongshuai Wang Hongyan Zhang Qiurong Ruan Jiansha Li Lei Zhao Yifang Ping Rong Chen Liang Ren Xiaochun Fei Heng Zhang Rui Tang Xi Wang Tao Luo Xindong Liu Xuequan Huang Zhenhua Liu Qilin Ao Yong Ren Jing Xiong Zhicheng He Haibo Wu Wenjuan Fu Pengnan Zhao Xinwei Chen Guoqiang Qu Yunyun Wang Xi Wang Jia Liu Dongfang Xiang Sanpeng Xu Xiaowei Zhou Qingrui Li Jinghong Ma Heng Li Jie Zhang Sizhe Huang Xiaohong Yao Yiwu Zhou Chaofu Wang Dingyu Zhang Guoping Wang Liang Liu Xiu-Wu Bian 2020National Science Review2020,7,12:6
Porous cobalt oxide nanowires: Notable improved gas sensing performances显示文摘The porous Co3O4 nanowires have been successfully synthesized via modified template method. A possible growth mechanism governing the formation of such 1D nanowires is proposed. The as-prepared products have been characterized by X-ray Powder Diffraction (XRD), Extended X-ray Absorption Fine-structure (EXAFS), High-resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HRTEM) and N2 adsorption/desorption analysis. Our systematic studies have revealed that the porous Co3O4 nanowires show excellent gas sensing performances, which demonstrate the potential application of the 1D nanostructured Co3O4 in the detection of the ethanol gas as a sensor material. The improved performances are owing to its large specific surface area and porous morphology.MA MaiXia PAN ZhiYun GUO Lin LI JingHong WU ZiYu YANG ShiHe 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,31:4
Controllable synthesis of well-ordered TiO_2 nanotubes in a mixed organic electrolyte for high-efficiency photocatalysis显示文摘Well-ordered TiO 2 nanotube arrays (TNAs) were fabricated by electrochemical anodization in a mixed organic electrolyte consisting of ethylene glycol and glycerol. The morphology, structure, crystalline phase, and photocatalytic properties of TNAs were characterized by using TEM, SEM, XRD and photodegradation of methylene blue. It was found that the morphology and structure of TNAs could be significantly influenced by the anodization time and applied voltage. The obtained tube length was found to be proportional to anodization time, and the calculated growth rate of nanotubes was 0.6 m/h. The microstructure analysis demonstrated that the diameter and thickness of the nanotubes increased with the increase of anodization voltage. The growth mechanism of TNAs was also proposed according to the observed relationship between current density and time during anodization. As expected, the obtained TNAs showed a higher photocatalytic activity than the commercial TiO 2 P25 nanoparticles.WANG Chao CHEN Da PING GuangXing LIU Shu HUANG XiaNi HUANG YueXiang SHU KangYing LI JingHong 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,11:3
One-step synthesis of dimethyl ether from syngas on ordered mesoporous copper incorporated alumina显示文摘Ordered mesoporous copper incorporated Al_2O_3(Cu/Al_2O_3) with high Cu dispersion were prepared by a facile solution combustion synthesis method using aluminum nitrate and copper nitrate as oxidants and urea as fuel. It is a facile and green route to synthesize catalysts for dimethyl ether directly from syngas. Cu/Al_2O_3 catalysts were characterized by XRD, N_2 adsorption–desorption, SEM-EDS, and H_2-TPR.The results indicate that the catalysts obtain an ordered mesoporous structure and copper is homogenously dispersed. The mesoporous Cu/Al_2O_3 catalysts were utilized as bifunctional catalysts in syngas to dimethyl ether reaction(STD). The copper content affects the catalytic performance in STD reaction. The CO conversion and DME selectivity of Cu/Al_2O_3 with 15% copper molar ratio achieve 52.9% and 66.1%,respectively. Moreover, the mesoporous Cu/Al_2O_3 catalysts show excellent stability in STD reaction.Yan Wang Yuexian Chen Feng Yu Dahai Pan Binbin Fan Jinghong Ma Ruifeng Li 2016Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,5:3
Immunotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer:rationale, recent advances and future perspectives显示文摘Lung cancer, with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)being the major type,is the second most commonmalignancy and the leading cause of cancer-related death globally.Immunotherapy, represented by immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs),has been one of the greatest advances in recent years for the treatment of solid tumors including NSCLC.However, not all NSCLC patients experience an effective response to immunotherapy with the established selection criteria of programmed death ligand 1(PD-L1)and tumor mutational burden(TMB).Furthermore,a considerable proportion of patients experience unconventional responses, including pseudoprogression or hyperprogressive disease(HPD),immune-related toxicities, and primary or acquired resistance during the immunotherapy process. To better understand the immune response in NSCLC and provide reference for clinical decision-making,we herein review the rationale and recent advances in using immunotherapy to treat NSCLC.Moreover,we discuss the current challenges and future strategies of this approach to improve its efficacy and safety in treating NSCLC.Wenxin Luo Zhoufeng Wang Ting Zhang Lan Yang Jinghong Xian Yalun Li Weimin Li 2021Precision Clinical Medicine2021,4,4:2

CUMS and dexamethasone induce depression- like phenotypes in mice by differentially altering gut microbiota and triggering macroglia activation显示文摘Background Although the link between gut microbiota and depression has been suggested, changes of gut microbiota vary largely among individuals with depression.Aims Explore the heterogeneity of microbiota-gut-brain axis and new pathogenic characteristics in murine models of depression. Methods Adolescent female mice were randomly divided into control(CON)group(n=10),chronic unexpected mild stress(CUMS)group(n=15)and dexamethasone(DEX)group(n=15).Mice in the DEX group were gavaged twice a day with 0.2 mg/kg of DEX for 5 weeks, whereas CON mice were given the same amount of solvent.Mice in the CUMS group were exposed to stressors. After behavioural evaluations, all mice were sacrificed for harvesting tissues and blood samples.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was conducted for measuring levels of corticosterone(CORT)and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)in sera, whereas levels of protein expression in colon and hippocampal tissues were examined by western blot.Faecal microbial communities were analysed by sequencing 16S rDNAs.Results Mice in CUMS and DEX groups exhibited severe depression-like behaviours.Compared with CON mice,CUMS-exposed mice showed a significant increase in bothαandβdiversity.Prevotellaceae and Desulfovibrio were enriched, whereas Bacilli were decreased in the faeces of mice in the CUMS group.DEX-treated mice had a decrease in the abundance of Clostridium XVIII.Levels of occludin in colon tissue of DEX-treated mice were reduced.Relative to mice in the CON and CUMS groups,DEX-treated mice contained higher serum levels of CORT and IL-1β.Compared with CON mice, mice in the DEX and CUMS groups had higher levels of IL-1βin sera and lower levels of glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP),Nestin,Synapsin-1 and P2Y12 receptor in the hippocampus. Conclusions Changes of gut microbiota diversity, intestinal integrity and neuroinflammation in the brain contribute to CUMS-induced depression, whereas pathobionts and excessive immunosuppression with damaged neuronal synapses is a basis of the DEX-induced depression.Jing Wu Jinhang Li Chhetri Gaurav Usman Muhammad Yantian Chen Xueyi Li Jinghong Chen Zejian Wang 2021General Psychiatry2021,34,6:2
Metallic and ferromagnetic MoS2 nanobelts with vertically aligned edges显示文摘Edge effects are predicted to significantly impact the properties of low dimensional materials with layered structures. The synthesis of low dimensional materials with copious edges is desired for exploring the effects of edges on the band structure and properties of these materials. Here we developed an approach for synthesizing MoS2 nanobelts terminated with vertically aligned edges by sulfurizing hydrothermally synthesized MoO3 nanobelts in the gas phase through a kinetically driven process; we then investigated the electrical and magnetic properties of these metastable materials. These edge-terminated MoS2 nanobelts were found to be metallic and ferromagnetic, and thus dramatically different from the semiconducting and nonmagnetic two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) 2H-MoS2 materials. The transitions in electrical and magnetic properties elucidate the fact that edges can tune the properties of low dimensional materials. The unique structure and properties of this one-dimensional (1D) MoS2 material will enable its applications in electronics, spintronics, and catalysis.Guanchen Xu Xinsheng Wang Yupeng Sun Xiao Chen Jingying Zheng Lifei Sun Liying Jiao Jinghong Li 2015Nano Research2015,8,9:2
Long-term follow-up of optic neuropathy in chronic low cerebrospinal fluid pressure monkeys: the Beijing Intracranial and Intraocular Pressure(iCOP) Study显示文摘Dear Editor,Clinical and anatomic investigations strongly suggest that a low orbital cerebrospinal fluid pressure (CSFP), parallel to an elevated intraocular pressure (IOP), may have a role in the pathogenesis of optic neuropathy (Ren et al., 2011, Wang et al., 2012). Optic neuropathy including glaucoma demonstrated structural alterations in the optic nerve head (ONH)and retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL), as well as functional abnormalities such as visual field (VF) that eventually cause severe visual impairment and blindness.Jing Li Diya Yang Jacky MKKwong Jidi Fu Ruowu Hou Jost BJonas Huaizhou Wang Zheng Zhang Weiwei Chen Zhen Li Jinghong Sang Xiaobin Xie Ruojin Ren Robert NWeinreb Ningli Wang 2020Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,11:2

Metal chelate affinity to immobilize horseradish peroxidase on functionalized agarose/CNTs composites for the detection of catechol显示文摘The paper reports a novel amperometric biosensor for catechol based on immobilization of a highly sensitive horseradish peroxidase by affinity interactions on metal chelate-functionalized agarose/carbon nanotubes composites. Metal chelate affinity takes advantage of the affinity of Ni2+ ions to bind strongly and reversibly to histidine or cysteine tails found on the surface of the horseradish peroxidase. Thus, enzymes with such residues in their molecules can be easily attached to functionalized agarose/carbon nanotubes composites support containing a nickel chelate. Linear sweep voltammograms and amperometry are used to study the proposed electrochemical biosensor. Catechol is determined by direct reduction of biocatalytically liberated quinone species at -0.05 V (vs. SCE). The effect of pH, applied electrode potential and the concentration of H2O2 on the sensitivity of the biosensor has been investigated. The performance of the proposed biosensor is tested using four different phenolic compounds, showing very high sensitivity, in particular, the linearity of catechol is observed from 2.0 × 10-8 to 1.05 × 10-5 M with a detection limit of 5.0 × 10-9 M.TU XinMan LUO ShengLian LUO XuBiao ZHAO YingJie FENG Li LI JingHong 2011Science China Chemistry2011,54,8:1
