Assessment of structural stability in Bohai Sea area based on AHP-GDM model显示文摘The AHP-GDM model is used for the assessment of structural stability, with the Bohai Sea area as an example. In this model, the credit degree of each expert is calculated through the assessment matrix based on the similarity and diversity of vector. The comprehensive opinions of expert panel are quantitatively obtained by considering the effect of credit degree. According to the geological structural setting, the Bohai Sea is divided into twelve assessment zones of structural stability by non-uniform element method. The structural stability grade of each zone is obtained on the basis of the latest geophysical data, earthquake statistical data, and the information of fault activities, current stress field and crustal deformation. The results show that there are one relatively stable area, three relatively sub-stable areas, six relatively sub-unstable areas and two relatively unstable areas. The assessment results of non-uniform element method are very close with those of uniform grid method with size of 0.25° in longitude direction and 0.14° in latitude direction. However the workload of non-uniform element method is only 1/16 of the latter. Compared with traditional assessment methods of structural stability, a more objective and reliable assessment result can be obtained by combining non-uniform element method and AHP-GDM model. | XIU Zongxiang LIU Baohua XIE Qiuhong LI Xishuang LIU Chenguang PEI Yanliang ZHENG Yanpeng | 2013 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,4: | 8
Basin assemblages and tectonic evolution in the Bohai Gulfand its neighbors显示文摘According to multi- disciplinary research advances in recent years, three blocks which named Jiaoliao - Bohai block, central North China block and Ordos block are divided. The differences of the tectonic association, types, styles and features in the space, and evolution from Archaean to Cenozoic in the time, between the former two blocks are discussed. Tectonic features and evolution in the four tectonic stages of Precambrian, Indo- China, Yanshanian and Cenozoic are emphasized especially here. All of them described above have inherit and neogenic property. The temporal-spatial change and interaction among basin assemblages in the above four stages are analyzed. Escape tectonic model is employed to interpret coeval compressive and extensional basins in the study area. | Li Sanzhong Xu Shumei Shan Yehua Li Xishuang Zhou Lihong Hao Yinquan Fan Zheqing Liang Huilan | 2000 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2000,19,4: | 7

Prediction for Potential Landslide Zones Using Seismic Amplitude in Liwan Gas Field, Northern South China Sea显示文摘The Liwan(Lw) gas field located in the northern slope of the South China Sea(SCS) is extremely complex for its seafloor topograghy, which is a huge challenge for the safety of subsea facilities. It is economically impractical to obtain parameters for risk assessment of slope stability through a large amount of sampling over the whole field. The linkage between soil shear strength and seabed peak amplitude derived from 2D/3D seismic data is helpful for understanding the regional slope-instability risk. In this paper, the relationships among seabed peak, acoustic impedance and shear strength of shallow soil in the study area were discussed based on statistical analysis results. We obtained a similar relationship to that obtained in other deep-water areas. There is a positive correlation between seabed peak amplitude and acoustic impedance and an exponential relationship between acoustic impedance and shear strength of sediment. The acoustic impedance is the key factor linking the seismic amplitude and shear strength. Infinite slope stability analysis results indicate the areas have a high potential of shallow landslide on slopes exceeding 15? when the thickness of loose sediments exceeds 8 m in the Lw gas field. Our prediction shows that they are mainly located in the heads and walls of submarine canyons. | LI Xishuang LIU Baohua LIU Lejun ZHENG Jiewen ZHOU Songwang ZHOU Qingjie | 2017 | Journal of Ocean University of China2017,16,6: | 4
Mass movements in small canyons in the northeast of Baiyun deepwater area, north of the South China Sea显示文摘The process of mass movements and their consequent turbidity currents in large submarine canyons has been widely reported, however, little attention was paid to that in small canyons. In this paper, we document mass movements in small submarine canyons in the northeast of Baiyun deepwater area, north of the South China Sea(SCS), and their strong effects on the evolution of the canyons based on geophysical data. Submarine canyons in the study area arrange closely below the shelf break zone which was at the depth of –500 m. Within submarine canyons, seabed surface was covered with amounts of failure scars resulted from past small-sized landslides. A complex process of mass transportation in the canyons is indicated by three directions of mass movements.Recent mass movement deposits in the canyons exhibit translucent reflections or parallel reflections which represent the brittle deformation and the plastic deformation, respectively. The area of most landslides in the canyons is less than 3 km2. The trigger mechanisms for mass movements in the study area are gravitational overloading, slope angle and weak properties of soil. Geophysical data indicate that the genesis of submarine canyons is the erosion of mass movements and consequent turbidity currents. The significant effects of mass movements on canyon are incision and sediment transportation at the erosion phases and fillings supply at the fill phases. This research will be helpful for the geological risk assessments and understanding the sediment transportation in the northern margin of the SCS. | LI Xishuang LIU Lejun LI Jiagang GAO Shan ZHOU Qingjie SU Tianyun | 2015 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2015,34,8: | 4
Application of fluorescence in situ hybridization in the detection of bladder transitional-cell carcinoma: A multi-center clinical study based on Chinese population显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH)in bladder cancer. Methods:We enrolled healthy volunteers and patients who were clinically suspected to have bladder cancer and conducted FISH tests and cytology examinations from August 2007 to December 2008.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis was performed and the area under curve(AUC)values were calculated for both the FISH and urine cytology tests. Results:A cohort of 988 healthy volunteers was enrolled to establish a reference range for the normal population.A total of 4807 patients with hematuria were prospectively, randomly enrolled for the simultaneous analysis of urine cytology,FISH testing, and a final diagnosis as determined by the pathologic findings of a biopsy or a surgically-excised specimen.Overall, the sensitivity of FISH in detecting transitional-cell carcinoma was 82.7%,while that of cytology was 33.4%(p<0.001).The sensitivity values of FISH for non-muscle invasive and muscle invasive bladder transitional-cell carcinoma were 81.7%and 89.6%,respectively(p=0.004).The sensitivity values of FISH for low and high grade bladder cancer were 82.6%and 90.1%,respectively(p=0.002).Conclusion:FISH is significantly more sensitive than voided urine cytology for detecting bladder cancer in patients evaluated for gross hematuria at all cancer grades and stages.Higher sensitivity using FISH was obtained in high grade and muscle invasive tumors. | Liqun Zhou Kaiwei Yang Xuesong Li Yi Ding Dawei Mu Hanzhong Li Yong Yan Jinyi Li Dongwen Wang Wei Li Yulong Cong Jiangping Gao Kewei Ma Yajun Xiao Sheng Zhang Hongyi Jiang Weilie Hu Qiang Wei Xunbo Jin Zhichen Guan Qingyong Liu Danfeng Xu Xin Gao Yongguang Jiang Weimin Gan Guang Sun Qing Wang Yanhui Liu Jianquan Hou Liping Xie Xishuang Song Fengshuo Jin Jiafu Feng Ming Cai Zhaozhao Liang Jie Zhang Dingwei Ye Lin Qi Lulin Ma Jianzhong Shou Yuping Dai Jianyong Shao Ye Tian Shizhe Hong Tao Xu Chuize Kong Zefeng Kang Yuexin Liu Xun Qu Benkang Shi Shaobin Zheng Yi Lin Shujie Xia Dong Wei Jianbo Wu Weiling Fu Zhiping Wang Jianbo Liang | 2019 | Asian Journal of Urology2019,6,1: | 2

Submarine canyons on the north of Chiwei Island:influenced by recent extension of the southern Okinawa Trough显示文摘Based on new multibeam bathymetric data and about 300 km long single seismic profiles, three topographic units were identified:the canyons, fractural valley and submarine terrace on the north of Chiwei Island where is a structural transition zone between the southern trough and the middle trough. The Chiwei Canyon and the North Chiwei Canyon are two of the largest canyons in the East China Sea(ECS)slope.Topographic features and architectures of them are described. The study shows that both of them are originated along faults. The evolution and spatial distribution of topographic units in the study area are controlled mainly by three groups of faults which were formed and reactive in the recent extensional phase of Okinawa Trough. The Chiwei Canyon was initiated during the middle Pleistocene and guided by F4 that is a N-S trending fault on the slope and F1,a large NW-SE trending fault on the trough. The pathway migration from the remnant channel to the present one of Chiwei Canyon is the result of uplift of tilted fault block that is coupled to the recent extension movements of the southern trough. The submarine terrace is detached from the ECS slope by the NEE-trending fault. The North Chiwei Canyon, developing during the late Pleistocene,is guided by F5,a N-S trending fault, diverted and blocked by the submarine terrace. | ZHAO Yuexia LIU Baohua LI Xishuang LIU Chenguang WU Jinlong WANG Kuiyang | 2008 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2008,27,4: | 1

Morphology and architecture of the typical erosion-genesis submarine canyons on the East China Sea slope显示文摘The Yithi submarine canyons, composed of four canyons less than 60 km in length, are located on the narrowest part of the East China Sea(ECS) slope. They extend from the shelf break at 160 m down to water depth of 1 500 m with an average gradient(along the canyon axis) of 3°(<1 000 m) and 0.7°(>1000 m).The sinuosity of the canyons ranges form 1.02 to 1.14 and their pathways extend radially from the shelf break to the axis of the Okinawa Trough.Structural and evolution pattern of the Yithi canyons are mainly controlled by sediment mass-movements and turbidity current and similar with that of the canyons in Ebro continental slope. The whole canyon system consists of three parts:the canyon, the channel and the fan.Slumps and slides often develop in the upper part of canyon where the water depth is less than 1000 m,and the turbidities usually developed on the fan.The scale of turbidites becomes smaller and their inner structures become more regular towards the ends of the canyons.Canyon-fans are often associated with small angle progradational reflection. Most canyon-fans and levees were transversely cut by active normal faults with NEE-SWW trending that are coupled to the modern extension of the Okinawa Trough.According to the age of formation of canyon-fans and sediments incised by canyons,we can infer that the Yithi canyons were formed since the middle the Medio-Pleistocene. | LIU Baohua ZHAO Yuexia LI Xishuang KAN Guangming PEI Yanliang ZHENG Yanpeng | 2009 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2009,28,6: | 1
Mounded seismic units in the modern canyon system in the Shenhu area, northern South China Sea:Sediment deformation, depositional structures or the mixed system?显示文摘The canyon system, including 17 small slope-confined canyons in the Shenhu area, northern South China Sea,is significantly characterized by mounded or undulating features on the canyon flanks and canyon heads. However, the mechanism underlying the formation of these features has yet to be elucidated. In previous studies, most of them were interpreted as sediment deformation on the exploration seismic profiles. In this paper,we collected high-resolution bathymetric data, chirp profiles and geotechnical test data to investigate their detailed morphology, internal structures, and origin. The bathymetric data indicated that most mounded seismic units have smooth seafloors and are separated by grooves or depressions. The distance between two adjacent mounded units is only hundreds of meters. On chirp profiles, mounded seismic units usually exhibit chaotic reflections and wavy reflections,of which the crests migrate upslope. The slope stability analysis results revealed that the critical angle of the soil layers in the study area tends to be 9°,indicating that most mounded seismic units on the canyon flanks and heads are stable at present. The terrain characteristics and seismic configurations combined with the slope stability analysis results indicated that most mounded seismic units are not sediment deformation but depositional structures or mixed systems composed of deformation and depositional structures. | Xishuang Li Chengyi Zhang Baohua Liu Lejun Liu | 2022 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2022,41,9: | 0
Time Domain Full Waveform Inversion Based on Gradient Preconditioning with an Angle-Dependent Weighting Factor显示文摘There are lots of low wavenumber noises in the gradients of time domain full waveform inversion(FWI),which can seriously reduce the accuracy and convergence speed of FWI.Thus,we introduce an angle-dependent weighting factor to precondition the gradients so as to suppress the low wavenumber noises when the multi-scale FWI is implemented in the high frequency.Model experiments show that the FWI based on the gradient preconditioning with an angle-dependent weighting factor has faster convergence speed and higher inversion accuracy than the conventional FWI.The tests on real marine seismic data show that this method can adapt to the FWI of field data, and provide high-precision velocity models for the actual data processing. | XIA Dongming SONG Peng LI Xishuang TAN Jun XIE Chuang WANG Shaowen LIU Kai ZHAO Bo MAO Shibo | 2022 | Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,6: | 0
Geometries and mechanism of folds in sediments on the southern Huanghai Sea shelf显示文摘Most descriptions and studies about folds have been associated with consolidated strata; fold deformation in loosely-consolidated sediments, however, has been rarely discussed. Since the Pleistocene, tectonic activities have been intensive over the South Huanghai Sea (SHS) shelf, resulting in fold deformation features that are preserved in thick sediment layers. Four types of folds with different geometries have been identified on the basis of an analysis of single-channel seismic profiles from the SHS shelf region: (1) fault-propagation fold; (2) fault-drag fold; (3) transversal bending fold; and (4) multi-action-folding fold. Studies on the geometry and mechanism of the folds indicate that base faults and fault blocks control the folding patterns in loosely-consolidated sediments on the SHS shelf and a large quantity of pore water in sediments plays an important role in cansing the deformation of sediment layers. The continuity of deformations of fault-propagation fold and fault-drag fold indicates that there is a genetic relationship between these fold types. The potential of earthquakes induced by fault-propagation folding in the deformation zone should be taken into account in the assessment of the marine engineering geology conditions of the SHS shelf. | LI Xishuang LIU Baohua ZHAO Yuexia LI Sanzhong | 2006 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2006,25,4: | 0
