However, the high-cost and poor CO-tolera nee ability of the most commonly used Pt greatly block this process. To in crease the utilizatio n efficie ncy and exte nd bifunctional properties of precious Pt, herei n, coral-like Pt3Ag nano crystals are developed as an excelle nt bifunctional electrocatalyst through a facile one-pot solvothermal method. The formation mechanism of Ptgg nanocorals has been elaborated well via a series of control experiments. It is proved that 1-naphthol serving as a guiding surfactant plays a key role in the formation of high-quality nano corals. Thanks to the unique coral-like structure and alloy effects, the developed Ptgg nano corals present sign ificantly enhanced electrocatalytic properties (including activity, stability and CO-toleranee ability) towards both the cathodic oxygen reduction and anodic formic acid oxidati on, as compared with those of commercial Pt black and Pt-based nan oparticles. | 5 | Carrier-free highly drug-loaded biomimetic nanosuspensions encapsulated by cancer cell membrane based on homology and active targeting for the treatment of glioma显示文摘Nanosuspensions,as a new drug delivery system for insoluble drugs,are only composed of a drug and a small amount of stabilizer,which is dispersed in an aqueous solution with high drug-loading,small particle size,high dispersion,and large specific surface area.It can significantly improve the dissolution,bioavailability,and efficacy of insoluble drugs.In this study,paclitaxel nanosuspensions((PTX)NS)were prepared by an ultrasonic precipitation method,with the characteristics of simple preparation and easy repetition.With the help of a homologous targeting mechanism,a kind of glioma C6 cancer cell membrane(CCM)-coated(PTX)NS was developed and modified with DWSW peptide to obtain DWSW-CCM-(PTX)NS with the functions of BBB penetration and tumor targeting.The results showed that the cancer cell membrane could effectively camouflage the nanosuspensions so that it was not cleared by the immune system and could cross the blood-brain-barrier(BBB)and selectively target tumor tissues.Cell uptake experiments and in vivo imaging confirmed that the uptake of DWSW-CCM-(PTX)NS by tumor cells and the distribution in intracranial gliomas increased.Cytotoxicity test and in vivo anti-glioma studies showed that DWSW-CCM-(PTX)NS could significantly inhibit the growth of glioma cells and significantly prolong the survival time of glioma-bearing mice.Finally,the cancer cell membrane coating endowed the nanosuspensions with the biological properties of homologous adhesion and immune escape.This study provides an integrated solution for improving the targeting of nanosuspensions and demonstrates the encouraging potential of biomimetic nanosuspensions applicable to tumor therapy. | Yueyue Fan Yuexin Cui Wenyan Hao Mengyu Chen Qianqian Liu Yuli Wang Meiyan Yang Zhiping Li Wei Gong Shiyong Song Yang Yang Chunsheng Gao | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,12: | 3 |

| 7 | Characterization of Bacterial Communities Associating with Larval Development of Yesso Scallop(Patinopecten yessoensisis Jay, 1857) by High-Throughput Sequencing显示文摘Bacterial community presumably plays an essential role in inhibiting pathogen colonization and maintaining the health of scallop larvae, but limiting data are available for Yesso scallop(Patinopecten yessoensisis Jay, 1857) larval development stages. The aim of this study was to characterize and compare the bacterial communities associating with Yesso scallop larval development at fertilized egg S1, trochophora S2, D-shaped larvae S3, umbo larvae S4, and juvenile scallop S5 stages by Illumina high-throughput sequencing. Genomic DNA was extracted from the larvae and their associating bactera, and a gene segment covering V3-V4 region of 16 S r RNA gene was amplified and sequenced using an Illumina Miseq sequencer. Overall, 106760 qualified sequences with an average length of 449 bp were obtained. Sequences were compared with those retrieved from 16 S r RNA gene databases, and 4 phyla, 7 classes, 15 orders, 21 families, 31 genera were identified. Proteobacteria was predominant phylum, accounting for more than 99%, at all 5 larval development stages. At genus level, Pseudomonas was dominant at stages S1(80.60%), S2(87.77%) and S5(68.71%), followed by Photobacterium(17.06%) and Aeromonas(1.64%) at stage S1, Serratia(6.94%), Stenotrophomonas(3.08%) and Acinetobacter(1.2%) at stage S2, Shewanella(25.95%) and Pseudoalteromonas(4.57%) at stage S5. Moreover, genus Pseudoalteromonas became dominant at stages S3(44.85%) and S4(56.02%), followed by Photobacterium(29.82%), Pseudomonas(11.86%), Aliivibrio(8.60%) and Shewanella(3.39%) at stage S3, Pseudomonas(18.16%), Aliivibrio(14.29%), Shewanella(4.11%), Psychromonas(4.04%) and Psychrobacter(1.81%) at stage S4. | 8 | Characterization and Expression Analysis of Protein Kinase C Gene from Dunaliella salina显示文摘Protein kinase C (PKC) has a crucial role in signal transduction for a variety of biologically active substances which activate cellular functions and proliferation. We previously isolated the full-length PKC gene from Dunaliella salina (DsPKC) using rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE) and RT-PCR methods. And we submitted the mRNA sequence of DsPKC gene to NCBI (Genbank No. JN625213). In the present paper, the DsPKC gene open reading frame obtained by PCR was cloned into pGS-21a vector and transformed into Escherichia coli to generate the fusion protein. Bioinformatics analysis revealed that DsPKC gene was a member of serine/threonine kinase with two conserved domains and highly conserved motifs. The DsPKC was highly expressed upon induction with isopropyl-β-d-thiogalactoside (IPTG) at a final concentration of 0.2 mmol L 1 at 37℃. Under salt stress, the fu- sion protein Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP)-DsPKC was transferred from the cytoplasm to the cell membrane. The expression pat- tern of DsPKC gene was analyzed using real-time quantitative PCR, and indicated that DsPKC gene was up-regulated by 3.0 mol L 1 NaCl at 12 h, which was significantly higher than in control values (P < 0.05). | 9 | Response of microbial biomass and bacterial community composition to fertilization in a salt marsh in China显示文摘The effects of nitrogen(N) addition on microbial biomass, bacterial abundance, and community composition in sediment colonized by Suaeda heteroptera were examined by chloroform fumigation extraction method, real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction, and denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE) in a salt marsh located in Shuangtai Estuary, China. The sediment samples were collected from plots treated with different amounts of a single N fertilizer(urea supplied at 0.1, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.8 g/kg(nitrogen content in sediment) and different forms of N fertilizers(urea,(NH_4)_2SO_4, and NH_4NO_3, each supplied at 0.2 g/kg(calculated by nitrogen).The fertilizers were applied 1–4 times during the plant-growing season in May, July, August, and September of 2013. Untreated plots were included as a control. The results showed that both the amount and form of N positively influenced microbial biomass carbon, microbial biomass nitrogen, and bacterial abundance. | 10 | Resource utilization of slag from desulphurization and slag skimming:A comprehensive recycling process of all components显示文摘In order to make the slag from desulphurization and slag skimming(SDSS)to be comprehensively recycled and utilized,a combined process of beneficiation and building materials preparation was proposed to recover iron from SDSS,meanwhile to apply the remaining slag tailings as cement admixture.From this process,three iron-rich products were recovered in stages by clean gravity-magnetic separation,slag tailings were left.Slag powder was prepared by ultrafine grinding of slag tailings.The stability,setting time and cement mortar strength of the slag tailings cements(STC)which were mixed with Portland cement and slag powder were studied respectively.The results showed that a proper overall performance still could be obtained at the slag powder content of 30%.Chemical composition analysis,X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis,metallographic microscope and scanning electron microscope(SEM)analysis were employed to assess the characteristics of the SDSS and the products obtained from the whole process.The results indicated that the three iron-rich products could be used as a raw material for steelmaking and ironmaking and the relatively large amount of calcium silicate(C_(2)S)and tricalcium silicate(C_(3)S)in the slag tailings make the addition of slag powder into the Portland cement feasible. | Xiao Liu Peng Gao Yuexin Han | 2022 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,3: | 2 |

| 12 | Inhibition of spore germination of Ulva pertusa by the marine bacterium Pseudoalteromonas haloplanktis CI4显示文摘The effect of the bacterial strain CI4 on the germination of spores from the green alga Ulva pertusa was assayed and it was found that the bacterial biofilm and cell-free supernatant strongly inhibited spore germination. In attempts to define the chemical nature of the antifouling substance in the supernatant of CI4,the culture supernatants were tested for activity after heat treatment,enzymatic treatments,size fractionation,and separation into aqueous and organic fractions. Results suggest that this bacterium produces an extracellular component with specific activity toward algal spores that was heat-sensitive and between 3 and 10 kDa in molecular size. The exposure of the organic phase fraction to spores showed inhibitive effect on spore germination. Pronase and carboxypeptidase y did not significantly affect the activity of inhibitory component,suggesting that the component was not a protein or a peptide.
