1Latitudinal pattern and the driving factors of leaf functional traits in 185 shrub species across eastern China显示文摘Aims To explore the pattern of the leaf functional traits of shrub species along a latitudinal gradient in eastern China and determine the driv-ing factors of leaf trait variation at a large scale.Methods We investigated the leaf thickness(LT),leaf area(LA),specific leaf area(SLA)and leaf dry mass content(LDMC)of 185 shrub species from 13 sites across eastern China.The trends of these four-leaf traits were ana-lyzed with respect to latitude,and the differences between different life forms(e.g.,evergreen and deciduous)and habitats(e.g.,understory and typical)were compared.We quantified the effects of the plant life forms and environmental factors on the leaf traits via mixed-model analyses.Important Findings The LT and LA decreased,whilst and the LDMC increased,as the latitude increased,and significant differences in these traits were observed between the different plant life forms.The LT and LA were smaller,whereas the SLA and LDMC were larger in decidu-ous shrubs than in evergreen shrubs.Among the different habitats,the LA and SLA were larger,while the LDMC was smaller in under-story shrubs than in typical shrub species.These results indicate that typical shrub species are better adapted to drier environments,as indicated by a reduced LT and increased LDMC.Furthermore,general linear models showed that variations in the four-leaf traits with respect to latitude were mainly caused by a shift in plant life forms.Yongkai Luo Huifeng Hu Mengying Zhao He Li Shangshi Liu Jingyun Fang 2019Journal of Plant Ecology2019,12,1:7
2Release Connection Fingerprints in Social Networks Using Personalized Differential Privacy显示文摘In social networks, different users may have different privacy preferences and there are many users with public identities. Most work on differentially private social network data publication neglects this fact. We aim to release the number of public users that a private user connects to within n hops, called n-range Connection fingerprints(CFPs), under user-level personalized privacy preferences. We proposed two schemes, Distance-based exponential budget absorption(DEBA) and Distancebased uniformly budget absorption using Ladder function(DUBA-LF), for privacy-preserving publication of the CFPs based on Personalized differential privacy(PDP),and we conducted a theoretical analysis of the privacy guarantees provided within the proposed schemes. 3Differentially Private Spatial Decompositions for Geospatial Point Data显示文摘Technological advancements in data analysis and data releasing have put forward higher security requirements, such as privacy guarantee and strictly provable security, this new area of research is called differential privacy. As for geospatial point data, the exiting methods use the tree structure to split the data space to enhance the data utility and usually adopt uniform budgeting method. Different from this, we propose a novel non-uniform allocation scheme for privacy budget which is a parameter to specify the degree of privacy guarantee. Firstly, the spatial data is indexed by quadtree, then, different privacy budget is allocated to each layer of quadtree using Fibonacci series features, and we designate this budgeting method as Fibonacci allocation. Experimental results show that Fibonacci allocation is significantly more accurate in data queries than the state-of-the-art methods under the same privacy guarantee level and fits for arbitrary range queries. 4Pore structure of selected Chinese coals with heating and pressurization treatments显示文摘Pore structure of Chinese coals with heating and pressurization treatments was studied using small angle X-ray scattering(SAXS),N2adsorption/desorption isotherms and scanning electron microscope(SEM).SAXS was performed for some samples after heat treatment at seven elevated temperatures from 25 to 250°C at 0 MPa and for other samples with hydrostatic pressure treatment at 0,5,10,15 and 20 MPa at the room temperature.The results show that N2adsorption isotherm together with SAXS could be a comprehensive method to evaluate the pore shape and the pore size distribution:the pore shapes are generally spherical for low rank coal and they are mainly ellipsoidal for high rank coal.All these measurements were then interpreted using the fractal theory to reveal relationship between surface fractals and coal rank,and the evolution of surface fractals under heating and pressurization treatments.The results show that surface fractal dimension(Ds)changes with different treating temperature and pressure and maximum vitrinite reflectance(Ro,m).Especially in the bituminous stage,Ds shows an increasing trend with Ro,m under varied temperatures.Moreover,Ds shows an increasing trend with increasing temperature before 200°C,and a decreasing trend after 200°C.Furthermore,the results show that Ds has a more complex relationship with Ro,m under varied treating temperature than that under varied treating pressure.CAI YiDong LIU DaMeng PAN ZheJun YAO YanBin LI JunQian QIU YongKai 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,7:5

6Privacy-preserving Distributed Location Proof Generating System显示文摘The rapid development of location-based service(LBS) drives one special kind of LBS, in which the service provider verifies user location before providing services. In distributed location proof generating schemes, preventing users from colluding with each other to create fake location proofs and protecting user's location privacy at the same time, are the main technical challenges to bring this kind of LBS into practical. Existing solutions tackle these challenges with low collusion-detecting efficiency and defected collusion-detecting method. We proposed two novel location proof generating schemes, which inversely utilized a secure secret-sharing scheme and a pseudonym scheme to settle these shortcomings. Our proposed solution resists and detects user collusion attacks in a more efficient and correct way. Meanwhile, we achieve a higher level of location privacy than that of previous work. 7Hydrological Impacts of Climate Change on Streamflow of Dongliao River Watershed in Jilin Province,China显示文摘The impacts of future climate change on streamflow of the Dongliao River Watershed located in Jilin Province,China have been evaluated quantitatively by using a general circulation model(HadCM3)coupled with the Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT)hydrological model.The model was calibrated and validated against the historical monitored data from 2005 to 2009.The streamflow was estimated by downscaling HadCM3 outputs to the daily mean temperature and precipitation series,derived for three 30-year time slices,2020s,2050s and 2080s.Results suggest that daily mean temperature increases with a changing rate of 0.435℃per decade,and precipitation decreases with a changing rate of 0.761 mm per decade.Compared with other seasons,the precipitation in summer shows significant downward trend,while a significant upward trend in autumn.The annual streamflow demonstrates a general downward trend with a decreasing rate of 0.405 m3/s per decade.The streamflow shows significant downward and upward trends in summer and in autumn,respectively.The decreasing rate of streamflow in summer reaches 1.97 m 3 /s per decade,which contributes primarily to the decrease of streamflow.The results of this work would be of great benifit to the design of economic and social development planning in the study area.ZHANG Lei LU Wenxi YANG Qingchun AN Yongkai LI Di GONG Lei 2012Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,5:3

11Weakened interlayer coupling in two-dimensional MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocations显示文摘The screw dislocations are intriguing defects that are often observed in natural and artificial materials. The dislocation spirals break the reflection and inversion symmetries of the lattices and modify the interlayer coupling in layer-structured materials, inducing additional complexity in layer stacking and thus novel properties in materials. Here, we report on the interlayer coupling of two-dimensional (2D) MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocations by atomic force microscopy (AFM), Raman spectra and photoluminescence (PL) spectra. By controlling the supersaturation conditions, 2D MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocations are grown on amorphous SiO2 substrates by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). AFM measurements reveal that the interlayer spacing in such 2D MoSe2 flakes with screw dislocation is slightly widened with respect to the normal AA- or AB-stacked ones due to the presence of the screw dislocations. Raman and PL spectra show that the interlayer coupling is weaker and thus the band gap is wider than that in the normal AA- or AB-stacked ones. 12Miura-ori enabled stretchable circuit boards显示文摘Origami,an ancient form of papercraft,provides a way to develop functional structures for engineering applications.In this paper,we report an approach to design and manufacture a stretchable circuit board(SCB)with origami structures.The benefits of developable,flat-foldable,and rigid-foldable origami-based structures as SCBs are discussed,and a representative structure,Miura fold(or Miura-ori),is chosen to be investigated.Under the constraints induced by the mounted components’dimensions,the Miura-ori structures for specific applications can be defined.We propose three methods for better fabrication,including direct folding,stiffness modification,and kirigami enhancement,to improve a planar sheet’s foldability.A wearable ECG(electrocardiogram)system based on MO-SCB(Miura-ori enabled SCB)technology is built,and the stretchable portion is made of commercial FPCBs(flexible printed circuit board),providing desired stretchability and reliability.The proposed technology routine is compatible with industrial production and may pave the application of stretchable electronics.Yongkai Li Weixuan Liu Yang Deng Wei Hong Hongyu Yu 2021npj Flexible Electronics2021,5,1:1

18Privacy-Preserving Deep Learning on Big Data in Cloud显示文摘In the analysis of big data,deep learn-ing is a crucial technique.Big data analysis tasks are typically carried out on the cloud since it offers strong computer capabilities and storage areas.Nev-ertheless,there is a contradiction between the open nature of the cloud and the demand that data own-ers maintain their privacy.To use cloud resources for privacy-preserving data training,a viable method must be found.A privacy-preserving deep learning model(PPDLM)is suggested in this research to ad-dress this preserving issue.To preserve data privacy,we first encrypted the data using homomorphic en-cryption(HE)approach.Moreover,the deep learn-ing algorithm’s activation function—the sigmoid func-tion—uses the least-squares method to process non-addition and non-multiplication operations that are not allowed by homomorphic.Finally,experimental re-sults show that PPDLM has a significant effect on the protection of data privacy information.Compared with Non-Privacy Preserving Deep Learning Model(NPPDLM),PPDLM has higher computational effi-ciency.Yongkai Fan Wanyu Zhang Jianrong Bai Xia Lei Kuanching Li 2023China Communications2023,20,11:0

20Facile Synthesis of Fe/Cr-Codoped ZnO Nanoparticles with Excellent Adsorption Performance for Various Pollutants显示文摘Adsorption is an effective and low-cost method for removing antibiotics and dyes. However, it remains a challenge to prepare an adsorbent with excellent adsorption properties for both various antibiotics and dyes. Herein, Fe/Cr-codoped ZnO with high adsorption capacity and fast adsorption rate are prepared by an environmentally friendly solvothermal method. Fe/Cr-codope ZnO with a diameter of 10–20 nm exhibits superior adsorption capacities for the antibiotics of tetracycline hydrochloride(TC-HCl)(826.45 mg g-1) and tetracycline(TC)(331.01 mg g-1), and anionic dyes of methyl orange(MO)(1023.88 mg g-1), methyl blue(MB)(726.26 mg g-1) and direct red(DR)(642.25 mg g-1). Meanwhile, it presents fast adsorption rate, it only took 30 min to reach more than 90% of the equilibrium adsorption amount for TC-HCl, TC, MO, MB and DR. The adsorption process closely fitted the Langmuir isotherm model and pseudo second-order rate equation. More importantly, simple method has been developed for separating the pollutant from the adsorbent, which not only regenerates the materials, but also completes the recovery of antibiotics and dyes, avoiding the secondary pollution.
