| 1 | Markov skeleton processes显示文摘A new class of stochastic processes--Markov skeleton processes is introduced, which have the Markov property on a series of random times. Markov skeleton processes include minimal Q processes, Doob processes, Q processes of order one, semi-Markov processes , piecewise determinate Markov processes , and the input processes, the queuing lengths and the waiting times of the system GI/G/1, as particular cases. First, the forward and backward equations are given, which are the criteria for the regularity and the formulas to compute the multidimensional distributions of the Markov skeleton processes. Then, three important cases of the Markov skeleton processes are studied: the (H, G, Π)-processes, piecewise determinate Markov skeleton processes and Markov skeleton processes of Markov type. The effect of state-independent immigration-migration is firstly in- vestigated in detail. The explicit expressions for the extinction probabilities and mean extinction times are presented. The ergodicity and stability properties of the process incorporating with resurrection structure are then investigated. The conditions for recurrence, ergodicity and exponential ergodicity are obtained. An explicit expression for the equilibrium distribution is also presented. | 3 | Reflection and transmission properties of double submerged rectangular blocks显示文摘An analytic method is used to study the reflection and transmission coefficients of the double submerged rectangular blocks (DSRBs) in oblique waves. The scattering potentials are obtained by means of the eigenfunction expansion method, and expressions for the reflection and transmission coefficients are determined. The boundary element method is employed to verify the correctness of the present analytical method. The DSRBs have better performance than the single submerged rectangular block (SSRB) in certain cases. | 6 | The application of the entropy-based statistic for genomic association study of QTL显示文摘An entropy-based statistic TPE has been proposed for genomic association study for disease-susceptibility locus. The statistic TPE may be directly adopted and/or extended to quantitative-trait locus (QTL) mapping for quantitative traits. In this article, the statistic TPE was extended and applied to quantitative trait for association analysis of QTL by means of selective genotyping. The statistical properties (the type I error rate and the power) were examined under a range of parameters and population-sampling strategies (e.g.,various genetic models, various heritabilities, and various sample-selection threshold values) by simulation studies. The results indicated that the statistic TPE is robust and powerful for genomic association study of QTL. | 14 | Clinical Value of Interventional Embolization for Sacral Chordoma before Surgical Treatment显示文摘Objetive:To evaluate the efficacy of preoperative transcatheter arterial embolization in the treatment of sacral chordoma,and to explore the choice of embolization timing.Methods:32 patients underwent the posterior approach after TAE of the main arteries that supplied the sacral chordoma.Intraoperative bleeding amount of each patient was recorded and compared between-group differences at different operation times.Results:After embolization,12 patients were received resection within 24 hours(group A),that of 10 cases between 24~48h(group B),of another 10 cases between 48~72h(group C).All of the 32 tumors were removed intact with intraoperative bleeding about(894±199)ml,without any shock or death,nor injuries on abdominal organs such as rectum and ureter.There was no statistical significance in tumor size among group A,B and C(P>0.05).Data gave statistical significance in intraoperative blood loss between group A and B(P<0.01),there was no statistical differences between group B and C(P>0.05),in spite of group B slightly less than group C.Conclusion:Preoperative TAE for excising the sacral tumor can significantly decrease intraoperative blood loss,make the surgical field clear,and facilitate the maximal removal of the sacral chordoma.It would be best to select the embolization timing within 24 hours before surgical operation. | Zhihui CHANG Zhaoyu LIU Jiahe Zheng Zaiming LU Qiyong GUO | 2011 | 放射学实践2011,26,6: | 0 |

| 16 | Temporal change of plankton size structure preserved by Lugol's solution:a FlowCAM study显示文摘Plankton size structure is crucial for understanding marine ecosystem dynamics and the associated biogeochemical processes.A fixation step by acid Lugol’s solution has been commonly employed to preserve plankton samples in the field.However,the acid Lugol’s solution can bias the estimation of size structure and the preserved plankton size structure can vary with time.Here,we explore the impact of sample storage time on the size-structure of the plankton community preserved by Lugol’s solution.Two short-term experiments and one long-term experiment were conducted to explore the change of plankton community size structure with the storage time:covering from a week to a month,and to nearly seven months based on particle-size data obtained by continuous Flow Cytometer and Microscope(FlowCAM)measurements.We found a linear change of plankton size with the storage time in short-term periods(less than 3 months)with a decrease of the slope but an increase of the intercept for the normalized biomass size spectrum(NBS S).However,there were opposite trends for NBSS with increasing slope but decreasing intercept after3 months.The potential causes of the distinct patterns of the NBSS parameters are addressed in terms of the interplay between particle aggregation and fragmentation.We found large changes in plankton biovolume and abundance among different size classes,which may indicate a distinct effect of acid Lugol’s solution on various plankton size classes.The mechanism driving temporal change in the size-structure of the Lugolfixed plankton community was further discussed in terms of particle aggregation and fragmentation.Finally,we emphasize that the effect of storage time should be taken into account when interpreting or comparing data of plankton community acquired from samples with various storage durations. | Zijia LIU Yuan DONG Qian P.LI Zhengchao WU Zaiming GE Mengzhen MA | 2023 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,1: | 0 |
