| 1 | Involvement of aquaporins in a mouse model of rotavirus diarrhea显示文摘Rotavirus diarrhea is a major worldwide cause of infantile gastroenteritis; however, the mechanism responsible for intestinal fluid loss remains unclear. Water transfer across the intestinal epithelial membrane seems to occur because of aquaporins(AQPs). Accumulating evidence indicates that alterations in AQPs may play an important role in pathogenesis. Here, we focus on changes in AQPs in a mouse model of rotavirus diarrhea. In the present study, 32 of 35 mice developed diarrhea and mild dehydration within 24 hours after infection with rotavirus strain SA11. Intestinal epithelial cells demonstrated cytoplasmic vacuolation, malaligned villi, and atrophy. AQP1 expression was significantly attenuated in the ileum and colon in comparison with controls; likewise, AQP4 and-8 protein expression were significantly decreased in the colon of rotavirus diarrhea-infected mice. In contrast, AQP3 protein expression was significantly increased in the colon of rotavirus-infected mice in comparison with controls. These results indicate that rotavirus diarrhea is associated with the downregulation of AQP1,-4, and-8 expression. | 2 | Effects of metabolizable energy and crude protein levels on laying performance,egg quality and serum biochemical indices of Fengda-1 layers显示文摘This study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary ME and CP levels on laying performance, egg quality and serum biochemical indices of Fengda-1 layers. In a 2 × 3 factorial arrangement, 2,400 Fengda-1 layers(32 wk of age) were randomly assigned to 6 experimental diets with 2,650 and 2,750 kcal of ME/kg of diet, each containing 14.50%, 15.00% and 15.50% CP, respectively. Each dietary treatment was replicated 5 times, and feed and water were provided ad libitum. The trial lasted for 10 wk, including a2-week acclimation period and an 8-week experimental period. Our results showed that ADFI decreased as the ME level of diet increased from 2,650 to 2,750 kcal/kg(P< 0.05). Layers fed diets with 2,750 kcal/kg ME exhibited higher mortality than those fed with 2,650 kcal/kg ME(P < 0.05). Birds fed with 14.50% and15.00% CP had higher egg production(EP) and egg mass(EM) than those fed with 15.50% CP(P < 0.05).Yolk color increased as the ME level of the diet increased from 2,650 to 2,750 kcal/kg, however, the eggshell thickness decreased(P < 0.05). Serum concentrations of uric acid and triglyceride in layers fed diets with 2,750 kcal/kg ME were higher than those fed diets with 2,650 kcal/kg ME(P < 0.05). There was no significant interaction between ME and CP on laying performance, egg quality, or serum biochemical indices(P > 0.05). | 5 | Dissociation characteristics of methane hydrate using depressurization combined with thermal stimulation显示文摘Methane hydrate is considered as a potential energy source in the future due to its abundant reserves and high energy density.To investigate the influence of initial hydrate saturation,production pressure,and the temperature of thermal stimulation on gas production rate and cumulative gas production percentage,we conducted the methane hydrate dissociation experiments using depressurization,thermal stimulation and a combination of two methods in this study.It is found that when the gas production pressures are the same,the higher the hydrate initial saturation,the greater change in hydrate reservoir temperature.Therefore,it is easier to appear the phenomenon of icing and hydrate reformation when the hydrate saturation is higher.For example,the reservoir temperature dropped to below zero in depressurization process when the hydrate saturation was about 37%.However,the same phenomenon didn’t appear as the saturation was about 12%.This may be due to more free gas in the reservoir with hydrate saturated of 37%.We also find that the temperature variation of reservoir can be reduced effectively by combination of depressurization and thermal stimulation method.And the average gas production rate is highest with combined method in the experiments.When the pressure of gas production is 2 MPa,compared with depressurization,the average of gas production can increase 54%when the combined method is used.The efficiency of gas production is very low when thermal stimulation was used alone.When the temperature of thermal stimulation is 11℃,the average rate of gas production in the experiment of thermal stimulation is less than 1/3 of that in the experiment of the combined method. | Mingjun Yang Zhanquan Ma Yi Gao Lanlan Jiang | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,9: | 5 |

| 7 | Effect of aging treatment on microstructure and corrosion behavior of a Fe-18Cr-15Mn-0.66N stainless steel显示文摘The effect of aging treatment on the microstructure and corrosion behavior of a Fe-18Cr-15Mn-0.66N high-nitrogen stainless steel(HNSS) in 3.5 wt.% Na Cl solution was investigated using a series of electrochemical tests, scanning electronic microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The results showed that the aging treatment led to the precipitation of CrN particles along the grain boundaries and their morphologies changed from dispersive particles to continuous network as the aging time increased up to 60 min. Aging time had minor effects on the corrosion potential and corrosion current density, but resulted in the sharp decrease in the pitting corrosion potential.The passive film behaved as a n-type semiconductor, and the donor density of the passive film increased with the aging time. Meanwhile, the fraction of stable oxide(CrO) in the passive film decreased with the aging time. | 8 | Accessible chromatin regions and their functional interrelations with gene transcription and epigenetic modifications in sorghum genome显示文摘Accessible chromatin regions(ACRs)provide physical scaffolds to recruit transcriptional co-regulators and displace their nearby nucleosomes in multiple plant species.Characterization of ACRs and investigation of their biological effects in Sorghum bicolor has lagged behind.Regulation of gene expression relies on the transcriptional co-regulators that are recruited to ACRs to affect epigenomic modifications of surrounding nucleosomes.In this study,we employed transposase-accessible chromatin sequencing to identify ACRs and decipher how the presence of ACRs affects gene expression and epigenetic signatures in the Sorghum genome.As a result,21077 ACRs,which are mapped to 22.9%of genes and 2.7%of repeats,were identified.The profiling of ACRs on gene structures reveals a narrow and sharp peak around the transcription start site,with relatively weak and broad signals covering the entire gene body and an explicit but wide peak from the transcription termination site to its downstream regions.We discovered that the correlations between gene expression levels and profiled ACR densities are dependent on the positions of ACRs.The occurrence of genic ACRs cumulatively enhances the transcriptional activity of intergenic ACR-associated genes.In addition,an intricate crosstalk among ACRs,gene expression,and epigenetic marks has been unveiled by integrating multiple-omics analyses of whole-genome bisulfite sequencing,6mA immunoprecipitation followed by sequencing,RNA sequencing,chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing,and DNase I hypersensitive sites sequencing datasets.Our study provides a genome-wide landscape of ACRs in sorghum,decrypts their interrelations with various epigenetic marks,and sheds new light on their roles in transcriptional regulation. | Chao Zhou Zhu Yuan Xueping Ma Huilan Yang Ping Wang Lanlan Zheng Yonghong Zhang Xiaoyun Liu | 2021 | Plant Communications2021,2,1: | 2 |
| 9 | Dual-metal atoms embedded into two-dimensional covalent organic framework as efficient electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction:A DFT study显示文摘The electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is a half-reaction of water-splitting for hydrogen generation,yet suffers from its sluggish kinetics and large overpotential.It is highly desirable to develop efficient and stable OER electrocatalysts for the advancement of water-splitting.Herein,by means of density functional theory(DFT)calculations,we systematically investigated a series of two-dimensional(2D)dual-atom catalysts(DACs)on a novel synthesized covalent organic framework(COF)material as potential efficient catalysts toward the OER.The designed 6 homonuclear(2TM-COF)and 15 heteronuclear(TM1TM2-COF)DACs all exhibit good stability.There is a strong scaling relationship between the adsorption Gibbs free energies of HO*and HOO*intermediates,and the OER overpotential(η^(OER))volcano curve can be plotted as a function ofΔGO*−ΔGHO*.RhIr-COF shows the best OER catalytic activity with aη^(OER)value of 0.29 V,followed by CoNi-COF(0.33 V),RuRh-COF(0.34 V),and NiIrCOF(0.37 V).These four OER DACs exhibit lower onset potential and higher current density than that of the IrO2(110)benchmark catalyst.Aided by the descriptor identification study,the Bader charge that correlated with the Pauling electronegativity of the embedded dual-metal atoms was found to be the most important factor governing the catalytic activity of the OER.Our work highlights a potentially efficient class of 2D COF-based DACs toward the OER. | Yanan Zhou Lanlan Chen Li Sheng Qiquan Luo Wenhua Zhang Jinlong Yang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,9: | 2 |
| 10 | CHH methylation of genes associated with fatty acid and jasmonate biosynthesis contributes to cold tolerance in autotetraploids of Poncirus trifoliata显示文摘Polyploids have elevated stress tolerance,but the underlying mechanisms remain largely elusive.In this study,we showed that naturally occurring tetraploid plants of trifoliate orange(Poncirus trifoliata(L.) | 12 | Time serial transcriptome reveals Cyp2c29 as a key gene in hepatocellular carcinoma development显示文摘Objective:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a severely lethal cancer that usually originates from chronic liver injury and inflammation.Although progress on diagnosis and treatment is obvious,the cause of HCC remains unclear.In this study,we sought to determine key genes in HCC development.Methods:To identify key regulators during HCC progression,we performed transcriptome sequencing to obtain time series gene expression data from a mouse model with diethylnitrosamine-induced liver tumors and further verified gene expression and function in vitro and in vivo.Results:Among the differentially expressed genes,Cyp2c29 was continuously downregulated during HCC progression.Overexpression of Cyp2c29 suppressed N F-kB activation and proinflammatory cytokine production by increasing the production o f 14,15-epoxyeicosatrienoic acid in vitro.Furthermore,overexpression of Cyp2c29 in vivo protected against liver inflammation in mouse models of liver injury induced by both acetaminophen and CC14.Two human homologs of mouse Cyp2c29,CYP2C8 and CYP2C9,were found to be downregulated in human HCC progression,and their expression was positively correlated with overall survival in patients with HCC(significance:P=0.046 and 0.0097,respectively).Conclusions:Collectively,through systematic analysis and verification,we determined that C yp2c29 is a novel gene involved in liver injury and inflammation,which may be a potential biomarker for HCC prevention and prognosis determination. | Qi Wang Qin Tang Lijun Zhao Qiong Zhang Yuxin Wu Hui Hu Lanlan Liu Xiang Liu Yanhong Zhu Anyuan Guo Xiangliang Yang | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,2: | 2 |

| 14 | A metabolic intervention strategy to break evolutionary adaptability of tumor for reinforced immunotherapy显示文摘The typical hallmark of tumor evolution is metabolic dysregulation.In addition to secreting immunoregulatory metabolites,tumor cells and various immune cells display different metabolic pathways and plasticity.Harnessing the metabolic differences to reduce the tumor and immunosuppressive cells while enhancing the activity of positive immunoregulatory cells is a promising strategy.We develop a nanoplatform(CLCeMOF)based on cerium metal-organic framework(CeMOF)by lactate oxidase(LOX)modification and glutaminase inhibitor(CB839)loading.The cascade catalytic reactions induced by CLCeMOF generate reactive oxygen species“storm”to elicit immune responses.Meanwhile,LOX-mediated metabolite lactate exhaustion relieves the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment,preparing the ground for intracellular regulation.Most noticeably,the immunometabolic checkpoint blockade therapy,as a result of glutamine antagonism,is exploited for overall cell mobilization.It is found that CLCeMOF inhibited glutamine metabolism-dependent cells(tumor cells,immunosuppressive cells,etc.),increased infiltration of dendritic cells,and especially reprogrammed CD8^(+)T lymphocytes with considerable metabolic flexibility toward a highly activated,long-lived,and memory-like phenotype.Such an idea intervenes both metabolite(lactate)and cellular metabolic pathway,which essentially alters overall cell fates toward the desired situation.Collectively,the metabolic intervention strategy is bound to break the evolutionary adaptability of tumors for reinforced immunotherapy. | Qianhua Feng Yutong Hao Shuaiqi Yang Xiaomin Yuan Jing Chen Yuying Mei Lanlan Liu Junbiao Chang Zhenzhong Zhang Lei Wang | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,2: | 1 |
| 15 | Spatial-temporal characteristics of the coupling coordination of social security and economic development in China during 2002–2018显示文摘Clarifying the relationship between social security and economic development is helpful to realize the sustainable social security system and the stable function of sustainable economic development.In this paper,the entropy method,coupling coordination degree,standard deviation ellipse model,and spatial autocorrelation were used to study the spatial-temporal characteristics of coupling coordination of social security and economic development in China from 2002 to 2018.The results indicate that the relationship between social security and economic development in China has been gradually strengthened in the process of mutual adaptation and common development.The benign interaction between the two was unstable,though the coupling coordination degree gradually transitioned to the primary coupling coordination type.Besides,from a spatial perspective,first,the coupling coordination degree of social security and economic development in China contracted in the east-west and north-south directions,and the coupling coordination clustered in the central region in this period;second,the coupling coordination degree generally presented a positive spatial autocorrelation,and regions with similar coupling coordination degrees were in a state of agglomeration;finally,the hot spots clumped together to form a continuous area in the eastern coastal area while the cold spots expanded toward the northwest and northeast.Furthermore,the random distribution areas exhibited a trend of contraction. | Qiong Li Yang Zhao Songlin Li Lanlan Zhang | 2021 | Regional Sustainability2021,2,2: | 1 |
