1A novel mechanism controls anther opening and closing in Paris polyphylla var. Yunnanensis显示文摘The phenomena of anther opening and closing in Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis (Franch) Hand.-Mazz were described in detail, and the effects of ecological factors on those phenomena related to anther opening, closing and the fly-pollination mechanism were discussed. Anthers of P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis open in the morning and close in the evening every day during an over 20 days’ period of anthesis. Light was detected as the main factor controlling this daily anther opening and closing. Anther opening can be reversed in response to rain and re-opens when rain stops. Relative humidity (RH) has a slight effect on anther opening and closing. Flower spans can be prolonged under laboratory conditions. 2Distribution characteristics and its controlling factor of lacustrine high-quality source rocks in the Bozhong sag,Bohai Bay Basin显示文摘Distribution of Paleogene lacustrine high-quality source rocks in the Bozhong sag in Bohai Bay Basin is analyzed through data of geochemistry,geology and well logging,and its differences under the control of climate and tectonics is also well discussed.Distribution characteristics of the high-quality source rocks developed in the saline environment controlled by the climate are quite different from that developed in the rapid subsidence environment controlled by tectonics.The high-quality source rocks in Member 1 of Shahejie Formation developed in the saline environment account for 81.9%of total subsag area,and are distributed widely and extensively.The high-quality source rocks in Member 3 of Shahejie Formation and Member 3 of Dongying Formation is developed in the tectonic subsidence environment,and horizontally,the subsag subsidence rates has a positive correlation with the area proportion of the high-quality source rocks in the sag;vertically,the reduction-oxidation interface of the lake controls the enrichment of highquality source rocks.Controlled by the saline environment and rapid subsidence environment,the highquality source rocks in the Bozhong sag and adjacent areas have three types of development condition:the saline water,the tectonic subsidence,and joint control of the saline water and the tectonic subsidence.The humid climate and low subsidence rate are not favorable for development of high-quality source rocks.Hefeng Sun Lifang Liu Xue Jiang Shengbing Huang Mingyang Geng Shaoping Chen Nan Li Pu Shen 2019Petroleum Research2019,4,3:3
3Incidence of Macrosomia in Rural Areas—Henan Province,China,2013–2017显示文摘Introduction:Macrosomia has short-term and long-term adverse health effects and is thus an important public health concern.Recent decades have witnessed increasing incidence of macrosomia in many countries.Methods:The present study used a large population-based birth cohort study to depict incidence of macrosomia among live births in rural areas of Henan Province of China from 2013 to 2017.Results:Among the 1,262,916 births,82,353 were cases of macrosomia.The overall incidence of all types of macrosomia,of macrosomia with birth weight<4,500 g,and of macrosomia with birth weight≥4,500 g were 6.52%,5.30%,and 1.22%,respectively.From 2013 to 2017,the incidence of macrosomia decreased by 31.3%from 7.96%in 2013 to 5.47%in 2017(X^(2)_(trend)=946.96,P_(trend)<0.001).Male infants and infants≥42 gestational weeks had significantly higher incidence of macrosomia than that of female infants and infants<42 gestational weeks(P<0.001).Conclusion:Gestational weight control through nutrition management and physical activities during pregnancy are needed to reduce incidence of macrosomia.Shiqi Lin Jian Chai Jiajia Li Xuejun Shang Lijun Pei Lifang Jiang Junxi Zhang Panpan Sun Wei Dong Yuhong Wang Dezhuan Zhou 2021China CDC weekly2021,3,37:3
4Use of DNAzymes for cancer research and therapy显示文摘DNAzymes(Dzs) are single-stranded DNA catalysts that specifically cleave the mRNA of targeted genes.Compared with other gene-silencing technologies,such as ribozymes,antisense oligonucleotide and small interference RNA(siRNA),DNAzymes have several advantages,including small molecular weight,diversity,low cost and relative stability in serum.With the evolution of molecular technology,the first DNAzyme was generated in vitro in 1994.From then on,DNAzymes have been studied in order to understand their structures,chemistry and biological applications.Particularly,DNAzymes have been widely applied as a new interference strategy in the treatment of many conditions,including cancer,viral diseases,and cardiovascular diseases.This review mainly summarizes the use of DNAzymes in the areas of cancer research and therapy.XU ZhiJie YANG LiFang SUN LunQuan CAO Ya 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,26:2

6Intercalation engineering of layered vanadyl phosphates for high performance zinc-ion batteries显示文摘Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs) have attracted great attention as the candidates for large-scale energy storage system,recently,because of their low cost,environment-friendly,high safety,and high theoretical energy densities.Among the numerous cathode materials,layered structure vanadium based polyanionic compounds,such as VOPO_(4),exhibit high specific capacity for Zn ion storage.However,the low Zn ion diffusion coefficient and limited interlayer spacing make the cathodes low reversible capacity and inferior cycling stability.Herein,K ions were pre-intercalated into the VOPO_(4) layers via ions exchange adopting VOPO_(4)·2 H_(2) O as the precursor.When evaluated as the cathode for ZIBs,an excellent cycle stability of 400 cycles under a current density of 500 mA g^(-1) was achieved by the obtained KVOPO_(4) electrode,verifying the positive effect of intercalation engineering.Furtherly,a solid-solution reaction Zn ion storage mechanism was confirmed.This study provides a new insight to explore high performance cathode materials for ZIBs.Kunjie Zhu Zhiqin Sun Pei Liu Haixia Li Yijing Wang Kangzhe Cao Lifang Jiao 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,12:2
7Development and validation of a UPLC–MS/MS assay for the determination of gemcitabine and its L-carnitine ester derivative in rat plasma and its application in oral pharmacokinetics显示文摘A simple and rapid UPLC–MS/MS method to simultaneously determine gemcitabine and its L-carnitine ester derivative(2’-deoxy-2’, 2’-difluoro-N-((4-amino-4-oxobutanoyl) oxy)-4-(trimethyl amm-onio) butanoate-cytidine, JDR) in rat plasma was developed and validated.The conventional plasma sample preparation method of nucleoside analogues is solidphase extraction(SPE) which is time-consuming and cost-expensive. In this study, gradient elution with small particles size solid phase was applied to effectively separate gemcitabine and JDR, and protein precipitation pretreatment was adopted to remove plasma protein and extract the analytes with high recovery(>81%). Method validation was performed as per the FDA guidelines, and the standard curves were found to be linear in the range of 5–4000 ng/ml for JDR and 4–4000 ng/ml for gemcitabine, respectively. The lower limit of quantitation(LLOQ)of gemcitabine and JDR was 4 and 5 ng/ml, respectively. The intra-day and inter-day precision and accuracy results were within the acceptable limits. 15Role of epidermal growth factor receptor in DNA damage repair显示文摘Many human tumor cells are characterized by overexpression or mutation of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). Emerging evidence indicates that EGFR, as well as some of its downstream components, can translocate to the nucleus and play roles in transcriptional regulation, signaling conduction and repair of DNA double strands breaks (DSBs). EGFR in its nuclear manifestation promotes DSB repair by interacting with proteins including DNA-PK, ATM, Rad51 and BRCA1, involved in DSB repair, via the PI3K-Akt and Ras-Raf-MAPK pathways. DNA damage repair in tumor cells is emerging as an attractive target in radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
