2Numerical study of regional environmental carrying capacity for livestock and poultry farming based on planting-breeding balance显示文摘In consideration of the need to maintain planting-breeding balance, this article examines the capacity of the soil in Putian City, Fujian Province to absorb livestock and poultry excreta, and computes the environmental carrying capacity for livestock and poultry farming (ECCLPF) in each district of the city in terms of the fertility characteristics of the soil in the city, as well as its mix of crops cultivated and farming methods. On the basis of the computations, this work proceeds to classify the alarm grades of the city's environmental carrying capacity for livestock and poultry framing, and assess the environmental impact of the livestock and poultry farming industry. The results of our study indicate that, the city's ECCLPF ranges from 8.27 to 23.23 heads per ha when computed on the basis of nitrogen, and from 5.79 to 24.53 heads per ha when computed on the basis of phosphorus. A comparison between our research findings and the existing farming scale in Putian reveals that, in certain parts of the city, ECCLPF is overburdened to varying degrees. Specifically, Chengxiang District is severely overburdened, Hanjiang District and Meizhou Island have a level of overburdening between virtual overburdening and significant overburdening, Licheng District is virtually overburdened, and Xiuyu, Xianyou, and Bei'an Districts have not exceeded their environmental carrying capacity and therefore have varying levels of potential for growth.Lihong Peng Yu Bai 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,9:20

4Fuel efficient model predictive control strategies for a group of connected vehicles incorporating vertical vibration显示文摘This paper presents a decentralized fuel efficient model predictive control(MPC) strategy for a group of connected vehicles incorporating vertical vibration. To capture the vehicle vibration dynamics, the dynamics of the suspension system is integrated with the longitudinal dynamics of the vehicle. Furthermore, a MPC framework with finite time horizon is formulated to calculate the optimal velocity profile that compromises fuel economy, mobility and ride comfort for every individual vehicle with the safety and physical constraints considered. In the MPC framework, the target velocity is calculated using signal phase and timing(SPAT)information to reduce the number of stoppage at red lights, and the vertical acceleration is calculated parallel to the calculation of the fuel consumption. The MPC optimal problem is solved with fast-MPC approach which enhances the computational efficiency via exploiting the structure of the control system and approximate methods. 5Dynamic network embedding via incremental skip-gram with negative sampling显示文摘Network representation learning,as an approach to learn low dimensional representations of vertices,has attracted considerable research attention recently.It has been proven extremely useful in many machine learning tasks over large graph.Most existing methods focus on learning the structural representations of vertices in a static network,but cannot guarantee an accurate and efficient embedding in a dynamic network scenario.The fundamental problem of continuously capturing the dynamic properties in an efficient way for a dynamic network remains unsolved.To address this issue,we present an efficient incremental skip-gram algorithm with negative sampling for dynamic network embedding,and provide a set of theoretical analyses to characterize the performance guarantee.Specifically,we first partition a dynamic network into the updated,including addition/deletion of links and vertices,and the retained networks over time.Then we factorize the objective function of network embedding into the added,vanished and retained parts of the network.Next we provide a new stochastic gradient-based method,guided by the partitions of the network,to update the nodes and the parameter vectors.The proposed algorithm is proven to yield an objective function value with a bounded difference to that of the original objective function.The first order moment of the objective difference converges in order of O(1/n^2),and the second order moment of the objective difference can be stabilized in order of O(1).Experimental results show that our proposal can significantly reduce the training time while preserving the comparable performance.We also demonstrate the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the practical usefulness of the dynamic network embedding.We perform extensive experiments on multiple real-world large network datasets over multi-label classification and link prediction tasks to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed framework,and up to 22 times speedup has been achieved.Hao PENG Jianxin LI Hao YAN Qiran GONG Senzhang WANG Lin LIU Lihong WANG Xiang REN 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,10:4
6Indocyanine Green-Conjugated Magnetic Prussian Blue Nanoparticles for Synchronous Photothermal/Photodynamic Tumor Therapy显示文摘Indocyanine green(ICG) is capable of inducing a photothermal effect and the production of cytotoxic reactive oxygen species for cancer therapy. However, the major challenge in applying ICG molecules for antitumor therapy is associated with their instability in aqueous conditions and rapid clearance from blood circulation,which causes insufficient bioavailability at the tumor site.Herein, we conjugated ICG molecules with Prussian blue nanoparticles enclosing a Fe_3O_4 nanocore, which was facilitated by cationic polyethyleneimine via electrostatic adsorption. The nanocarrier-loaded ICG formed stable aggregates that enhanced cellular uptake and prevented fluorescence quenching. Moreover, the strong superparamagnetism of the Fe_3O_4 core in the obtained nanocomposites further improved cellular internalization of the drugs guided by a localized magnetic field. The therapeutic efficacy of this nanoplatform was evaluated using tumor models established in nude mice, which demonstrated remarkable tumor ablation in vivo due to strong photothermal/photodynamic effects. 7Characterization of chromophoric dissolved organic matter(CDOM) in the East China Sea in autumn using excitationemission matrix(EEM) fluorescence and parallel factor analysis(PARAFAC)显示文摘Samples of chromophoric dissolved organic matter(CDOM)in the East China Sea in autumn(October in 2011)were analyzed by excitation emission matrix(EEM)fluorescence spectroscopy combined with parallel factor analysis(PARAFAC).Three terrestrial humic-like components(C1,C2 and C3)and one protein-like component(C4)were identified.Based on spatial distributions,as well as relationships with salinity,the following assignments were made.The three humic-like components(C1,C2 and C3)showed conservative mixing behavior and came mainly from riverine input.The protein-like component(C4)was considered a combination of autochthonous production and terrestrial inputs and a biologically labile component.Path analysis of samples from the middle and bottom layers revealed that the causal effects on C1 were 78.46%for salinity,and 21.54%for apparent oxygen utilization(AOU);those on C2 were 76.43%for salinity,and 23.57%for AOU;those on C3 were70.49%for salinity,7.01%for Chl-a,and 22.50%for AOU;those on C4 were 55.54%for salinity,14.6%for Chl-a,and29.86%for AOU in middle layer;and those on C4 were 57.37%for salinity,29.02%for Chl-a,and 13.61%for AOU in bottom layer.Results indicated that CDOM in the East China Sea was mainly affected by terrestrial inputs,and microbial activities also played a key role in biogeochemical processes of CDOM.The application of the EEM-PARAFAC model presented a unique opportunity to observe compositional changes in CDOM in the East China Sea.In addition,the humification index(HIX)suggested that CDOM from the East China Sea was less stable and stayed shorter in the environment.BAI Ying SU RongGuo YAN LiHong YAO Peng SHI XiaoYong WANG XiuLin 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,12:3

9Perfect reconstruction image modulation based on BEMD and quaternionic analytic signals显示文摘Image modulation represents image by meaningful characters such as image instantaneous amplitude and instantaneous frequency. A perfect reconstruction image modulation method is proposed. In detail, the bidimensional empirical mode decomposition (BEMD) is first improved to adaptively decompose image into monocomponents. Then by the quaternionic analytic method, suitable analytic signals is acquired. A new polar form is further proposed to modulate images, then seven characters are derived including instantaneous amplitude and instantaneous frequencies. We demonstrate the techniques on both synthetic and natural images, depict the needle program of the estimated frequencies and obtain the reconstructions that are the same with the original images. 10Synthesis, spectral properties of aluminum polymeric phthalocyanine carboxyl with low aggregation in aqueous solution显示文摘A water soluble poly-[tetrakis-(2,3-dicarboxylate phenoxy) methyl methan] aluminum phthalocyanine (AlPPc.(COOH)x) has been synthesized from the cyclization of tetranuclear phthalonitrile and successive hydrolysis of cyano in alkaline solution. The absorption spectra showed low aggregation of this compound in pH 9.18 buffer than that of existing water soluble phthalocyanine compounds. With the addition of Triton X 100, an enhancement of fluorescence emission with quantum yield from 0.4 to 0.83 was observed; contrarily, it was thoroughly quenched by the addition of CATB in suit. A longer life time of singlet state was also detected in presence of Triton X 100. 15Efficacy evaluation and mechanism of Bacillus subtilis EBS03 against cotton Verticillium wilt显示文摘Background:In our previous study,a strain EBS03 with good biocontrol potential was screened out of 48 strains of cotton endophyte Bacillus subtilis by evaluating the controlling effect against cotton Verticillium wilt.However,its mechanism for controlling Verticillium wilt remains unclear.The objective of this study was to further clarify its con-trolling effect and mechanism against cotton Verticillium wilt.Results:The results of confrontation culture test and double buckle culture test showed that the inhibitory effects of EBS03 volatile and nonvolatile metabolite on mycelium growth of Verticillium dahliae were 70.03%and 59.00%,respectively;the inhibitory effects of sporulation and microsclerotia germination were 47.16%and 70.06%,respec-tively.In the greenhouse test,the EBS03 fermentation broth root irrigation had the highest controlling effect at 87.11%on cotton Verticillium wilt,and significantly promoted the growth of cotton seedlings.In the field experi-ment,the controlling effect of EBS03 fermentation broth to cotton Verticillium wilt was 42.54%at 60 days after cotton sowing,and the boll number per plant and boll weight in EBS03 fermentation broth seed soaking,root irrigation,and spraying treatments significantly increased by 19.48%and 7.42%,30.90%and 2.62%,15.99%and 9.20%,respec-tively.Furthermore,EBS03 improved the resistance of cotton leaves against the infection of V.dahliae,and induced the outbreak of reactive oxygen species and accumulation of callose.In addition,the results of real time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)detection showed that EBS03 significantly induced upregulation expression level of defense-related genes PAL,POD,PPO,and PR10 in cotton leaves,enhanced cotton plant resistance to V.dahliae,and inhibited colonization level of this fungal pathogen in cotton.Conclusion:Bacillus subtilis EBS03 has a good biological defense capability,which can inhibit the growth and coloni-zation level of V.dahliae,and activate the resistance of cotton to Verticillium wilt,thus increase cotton yield.BAI Hongyan FENG Zili ZHAO Lihong FENG Hongjie WEI Feng ZHOU Jinglong GU Aixing ZHU Heqin PENG Jun ZHANG Yalin 2022Journal of Cotton Research2022,5,4:1

20Paclitaxel liposome for injection (Lipusu) plus cisplatin versus gemcitabine plus cisplatin in the first-line treatment of locally advanced or metastatic lung squamous cell carcinoma: A multicenter, randomized, open-label, parallel controlled clinical study显示文摘Background:Lipusu is the first commercialized liposomal formulation of pacli-taxel and has demonstrated promising efficacy against locally advanced lung squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC)in a small-scale study.Here,we conducted a multicenter,randomized,phase 3 study to compare the efficacy and safety of cis-platin plus Lipusu(LP)versus cisplatin plus gemcitabine(GP)as first-line treat-ment in locally advanced or metastatic LSCC.Methods:Patients enrolled were aged between 18 to 75 years,had locally advanced(clinical stage IIIB,ineligible for concurrent chemoradiation or surgery)or metastatic(Stage IV)LSCC,had no previous systemic chemother-apy and at least one measurable lesion as per the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(version 1.1)before administration of the trial drug.The primary endpoint was progression-free survival(PFS).The secondary endpoints included objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),overall survival(OS),and safety profiles.To explore the possible predictive value of plasma cytokines for LP treatment,plasma samples were collected from the LP group at baseline and first efficacy evaluation time and were then subjected to analysis by 45-Plex ProcartaPlex Panel 1 to detect the presence of 45 cytokines using the Luminex xMAP technology.The correlation between treatment outcomes and dynamic changes in the levels of cytokines were evaluated in preliminary analyses.Results:The median duration of follow-up was 15.4 months.237 patients in the LP group and 253 patients in the GP group were included in the per protocol set(PPS).In the PPS,the median PFS was 5.2 months versus 5.5 months in the LP and GP group(hazard rtio[HR]:1.03,P=0.742)respectively.The median OS was 14.6 months versus 12.5 months in the LP and GP group(HR:0.83,P=0.215).The ORR(41.8%versus 45.9%,P=0.412)and DCR(90.3%versus 88.1%,P=0.443)were also similar between the LP and GP group.A significantly lower proportion of patients in the LP group experienced adverse events(AEs)leading to treatment interruptions(10.9%versus 26.4%,P<0.001)or treatment termination(14.3%versus 23.1%,P=0.011).The analysis of cytokine levels in the LP group showed that low baseline levels of 27 cytokines were associated with an increased ORR,and 15 cytokines were associated with improved PFS,with 14 cytokines,including TNF-a,IFN-y,IL-6,and IL-8,demonstrating an overlapping trend.Conclusion:The LP regimen demonstrated similar PFS,OS,ORR and DCR as the GP regimen for patients with locally advanced or metastatic LSCC but had more favorable toxicity profiles.The study also identified a spectrum of different cytokines that could be potentially associated with the clinical benefit in patients who received the LP regimen.Jie Zhang Yueyin Pan Qin Shi Guojun Zhang Liyan Jiang Xiaorong Dong Kangsheng Gu Huijuan Wang Xiaochun Zhang Nong Yang Yuping Li Jianping Xiong Tienan Yi Min Peng Yong Song Yun Fan Jiuwei Cui Gongyan Chen Wei Tan Aimin Zang Qisen Guo Guangqiang Zhao Ziping Wang Jianxing He Wenxiu Yao Xiaohong Wu Kai Chen Xiaohua Hu Chunhong Hu Lu Yue Da Jiang Guangfa Wang Junfeng Liu Guohua Yu Junling Li Jianling Bai Wenmin Xie Weihong Zhao Lihong Wu Caicun Zhou 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,1:1
