2Zircon chronology and REE geochemistry of granulite xenolith at Hannuoba显示文摘The lower crustal xenolith of mafic two_pyroxene granulite (the majority) and hypersthene granulite in the Cenozoic basalt at Hannuoba have the characteristics of igneous blastic structure and granulite facies metamorphic recrystallization. Study on the zircon chronology and REE geochemistry of granulite xenolith shows that the underplating of basic magma into the lower crust during late Mesozoic led to the formation of mafic accumulate, which further through metamorphism of granulite facies formed the high_density and high_velocity crustal bottom layer at the lower crust. 3Precision orchard sprayer based on automatically infrared target detecting and electrostatic spraying techniques显示文摘There is an urgent need for new chemical application techniques and sprayers in Chinese orchard spraying.A new tractor-mounted automatic target detecting electrostatics,and air-assisted orchard sprayer was designed and developed to meet the demand of chemical pest control in orchards.This sprayer light weighted,highly efficient,reduces pesticide use and is friendly to the environment.The techniques of automatic target detecting,electrostatics,and air-assisted spraying were combined in this system.The electrostatically charged droplets are projected toward the target by the assistance of an air stream that increases the droplets penetration within canopy.Experimental results show that the new automatic target detecting orchard sprayer with an infrared sensor can save more than 50%to 75%of pesticides,improve the utilization rate(over 55%),control efficiency,and significantly reduce environmental pollution caused by the pesticide application.At the same time the key technological problems related to air-assisted low volume and electrostatic spraying were solved.He Xiongkui Zeng Aijun Liu Yajia Song Jianli 2011International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2011,4,1:17
4Efficient InGaN-based yellow-light-emitting diodes显示文摘Realization of efficient yellow-light-emitting diodes(LEDs) has always been a challenge in solid-state lighting.Great effort has been made, but only slight advancements have occurred in the past few decades. After comprehensive work on InGaN-based yellow LEDs on Si substrate, we successfully made a breakthrough and pushed the wall-plug efficiency of 565-nm-yellow LEDs to 24.3% at 20 A∕cm^2 and 33.7% at 3 A∕cm^2. 8Study on methane selective catalytic reduction of NO on Pt/Ce_(0.67)Zr_(0.33)O_2 and its application显示文摘Monolithic catalysts of Pt/La-Al2O3 and Pt/Ce0.67Zr0.33O2 were prepared to investigate methane selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO. The results indicate that Pt/Ce0.67Zr0.33O2 shows high activity and both NO and CH4 can be converted completely at 450 °C. Meanwhile, NO and CH4 can be converted completely when there exists excess oxygen. The Pt/Ce0.67Zr0.33O2 catalyst were further investigated by using methane as reducing agent to SCR NO in a novel equipment which combined the CH4 selective catalytic reduction of NO with methane combustion. The result shows that the catalyst is high active and the novel equipment is very effective. The conversion of NO is above 92% under the conditions used in this work. 9Design and experiment of variable rate orchard sprayer based on laser scanning sensor显示文摘During different growth periods,canopy size and density in orchards are variable,which need application conditions(flow rate and air flow)to be adjusted to match the canopy’s characteristics.In order to improve orchard sprayer’s automatic operating performance,an automatic variable-rate orchard sprayer(VARS)fixed with 40 electromagnetic valves and 8 brushless fans was developed based on the canopy’s spatial dimensions.Each solenoid valve and brushless motor can be individually adjusted in real-time through pulse width modulation(PWM)signals emitted by a control system to adjust each nozzle’s spout and fan rotation speed.A high-precision laser scanning sensor(light detecting and ranging,LIDAR)was adopted as the detector to measure the canopy volume using the variable rate algorithm principle.Field experiments were conducted in an apple orchard,and conventional air blast sprayer(CABS)and directed air-jet sprayer(DAJS)were tested as a comparison.Results showed that on average,46%less spraying solution was applied compared to conventional applications,while penetration rate was similar to DAJS.Normalized deposition in the canopy with variable application was higher than that of conventional applications,indicating that electronic sprayers are more efficient than conventional sprayers.It was also observed that VARS could significantly reduce off-target loss.The field experiment showed that the newly developed variable-rate sprayer can greatly reduce pesticide use and protect the environment for the orchard fruit production,and also provide a reference for design and performance optimization for plant protection machinery.Longlong Li Xiongkui He Jianli Song Yajia Liu Aijun Zeng Liu Yang Chaohui Liu Zhixiong Liu 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,1:8
10Applicability of Fractal Models in Estimating Soil Water Retention Characteristics from Particle-Size Distribution Data显示文摘Soil water retention characteristics are the key information required in hydrological modeling. Frac-tal models provide a practical alternative for indirectly estimating soil water retention characteristics fromparticle-size distribution data. Predictive capabilities of three fractal models, i.e, Tyler-Wheatcraft model,Rieu-Sposito model, and Brooks-Corey model, were fully evaluated in this work using experimental datafrom an international database and literature. Particle-size distribution data were firstly interpolated into20 classes using a van Genuchten-type equation. Fractal dimensions of the tortuous pore wall and the poresurface were then calculated from the detailed particle-size distribution and incorporated as a parameter infractal water retention models. Comparisons between measured and model-estimated water retention cha-racteristics indicated that these three models were applicable to relatively different soil textures and pressurehead ranges. Tyler-Wheatcraft and Brooks-Corey models led to reasonable agreements for both coarse- andmedium-textured soils, while the latter showed applicability to a broader texture range. In contrast, Rieu-Sposito model was more suitable for fine-textured soils. 13A naturally occurring variation in the BrMAM-3 gene is associated with aliphatic glucosinolate accumulation in Brassica rapa leaves显示文摘Glucosinolate profiles significantly vary among Brassica rapa genotypes.However,the molecular basis of these variations is largely unknown.In this study,we investigated a major quantitative trait locus(QTL)controlling aliphatic glucosinolate accumulation in B.rapa leaves.The QTL,which encompasses three tandem MAM genes and two MYB genes,was detected in two BC2DH populations.Among the five-candidate genes,only the expression level of BrMAM-3(Bra013007)was significantly correlated with the accumulation of aliphatic glucosinolates in B.rapa leaves.We identified a naturally occurring insertion within exon 1 of BrMAM-3,which is predicted to be a loss-of-function mutation,as confirmed by qRT-PCR.We determined that the loss of function was associated with the low glucosinolate content in B.rapa accessions.Furthermore,overexpressing the BrMAM-3 gene resulted in an increase in total aliphatic glucosinolates in Arabidopsis transgenic lines.Our study provides insights into the molecular mechanism underlying the accumulation of aliphatic glucosinolates in B.rapa leaves,thereby facilitating in the manipulation of total aliphatic glucosinolate content in Brassica crops.Jifang Zhang Hui Wang Zhiyuan Liu Jianli Liang Jian Wu Feng Cheng Shiyong Mei Xiaowu Wang 2018Horticulture Research2018,5,1:5
14Study on Water Conservation Capacity of Litter from Different Types of Forest in Caohai Basin显示文摘[Objective]The research aimed to understand water conservation capacity of litter from different forest types in Caohai basin. [Method] Current storage amount,water holding capacity and precipitation interception ability of litter from 4 types of forest were investigated and studied. [Result]The order of exist litter amount was grass slope >shrub forest >mixed broad leaf-conifer forest >coniferous forest. The order of natural water holding capacity was mixed broad leafconifer forest > coniferous forest > grass slope > shrub forest. The relevance between water holding capacity of litter and soaking time was in line with this formula: y = kln( x) + b. During 0-120 min of litter soaking,water holding capacity increased rapidly. After 120 min,the increasing trend remained flat until closing to the maximum water holding capacity. The relevance between water absorption rate of litter and soaking time was in line with this formula: y = a + bx-1. In the beginning of soaking,water absorption rates of litter from different woodlands showed great difference. As soaking time went by,water absorption rates of litter from different woodlands all declined sharply. During 0-120 min,declining velocity of water absorption rate was quicker. After 120 min,the declining trend tended to be slow. The maximum water holding capacity of litter presented the order of shrub forest > mixed broad leafconifer forest > grass slope > coniferous forest. The maximum precipitation interception amount of litter presented the order of shrub forest > grass slope > mixed broad leafconifer forest > coniferous forest. Effective impounding capacity of litter presented the order of shrub forest > mixed broad leafconifer forest > grass slope > coniferous forest. 15Traditional Chinese Medicines alleviated myocardial ischemia by regulating Qi and promoting blood circulation显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Chinese medicines on Qi stagnation and blood stasis in rats with myocardial ischemia.METHODS:Fifty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups(n=10)as follows:(a)sham operation(Sham),(b)myocardial ischemia(Model),(c)treatment that regulates Qi(Qi),(d)treatment that promotes blood circulation(Blood),(e)treatment that both regulates Qi and promotes blood circulation(QB).The rat model was established via activities restriction for 6 h followed by tail clamp stimulation for 5 mins every day for 7 d and occlusion left coronary anterior descending artery.Afterwards rats were treated with medicines that regulate Qi and/or promote blood circulation via gavage for 14 d.Behavioral parameters were evaluated using open field and elevated plus-maze tests.The tongue color and sublingual vein were visually examined.Blood flow perfusion of tongue and auricle were detected using PIMⅡ.The mesenteric microcirculation was examined via capillaroscopy,and hemodynamics was assessed using a polygraph system.Serum homocysteine(Hcy),creatine kinase isoenzyme(CKMB)levels and endothelin-1(ET-1)were measured.Hematoxylin and eosin staining and transmission electron microscopy were employed to detect the myocardial morphology and ultrastructure,respectively.RESULTS:Compared with findings in Sham group,rats in model group had coarse hair,dark mucosa of the lips and claw,low activity,and increased anxiety.Compared with findings in Model group,rats in the three treatment groups exhibited a lighter tongue color without an extended and varicose sublingual vein.There were significant increases of auricle blood flow perfusion in the Qi group and tongue bottom blood flow perfusion in the QB group.Compared with findings in Model rats,rats in Blood group exhibited improved mesenteric microcirculation associated with increased mesenteric blood flow and a larger arteriole diameter.Moreover,compared with findings in Model rats,Qi and QB rats exhibited increased left ventricular±dp/dtmax,decreased serum CKMB,Hcy,ET-1 levels,and reduced myocardial ultrastructural damage.CONCLUSION:Myocardial ischemia damage was suppressed by Traditional Chinese Medicines that regulate Qi and promote blood circulation.Wang Chen Wang Xiaoreng Tao Tianqi Song Dandan Wang Jianli Wang You Liu Xiuhua Wu Xudong 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6:4

17Vertical motions of tide gauge stations near the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea显示文摘A modified Gauss-Markov model with weighted constraints was constructed by combining satellite altimeter and tide gauge records. Vertical motion rates of nine tide gauge stations around the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea are estimated. This is the first time systematic estimates have been derived in this region. Downward trends were seen at the six tide gauge stations located at Tanggu, Longkou, Laohutan, Bayuquan, Xiaochangshan, and Yantai; with vertical motion rates of-1.82±0.50,-1.65±0.46,-0.88±0.42,-0.58±0.62,-0.13±0.43, and-0.01±0.43 mm/yr, respectively. Upward trends were seen at the three tide gauge stations located at Qinhuangdao, Huludao and Chengshantou; with vertical motion rates of 1.12±0.46, 0.55±0.49 and 0.26±0.44 mm/yr, respectively. There was significant subsidence in Tanggu and Longkou, and a rising trend in Qinhuangdao. According to our results, the rate of sea level rise calculated from these tide gauge records can be improved using a more accurate measurement of the land elevation accounting for lifting or subsidence. 18Geochemical Characteristics of Eolian Deposits in the Chengdu Plain of Sichuan Province and the Implications for Provenance显示文摘In this study Chengdu Red Earth(CRE)from the Chengdu Plain(CP),Sichuan province,was analyzed for its elemental(major and trace elements)and isotopic(Sm-Nd)geochemistry and compared with Pleistocene loess and paleosol samples from the Chinese Loess Plateau(CLP)in Northern China.The geochemical composition of CRE is similar to north China loess,and also resembles the average UCC.This indicates that CRE,as loess deposits in Northern China,was derived from well-mixed sedimentary protoliths that have undergone numerous upper crustal recycling processes.However,obvious differences in the geochemical characteristics of CRE and the north China loess are also revealed in our results.For chemically stable elements,CRE has higher Ti,Zr,Hf and lowerΣREE,Ba contents in comparison with loess samples from the CLP.Further analysis shows that CRE has higher TiO2/Al2O3,SiO2/Al2O3,Ba/Rb and lower Ce/Yb,Eu/Yb,LaN/YbN andΣLREE/ΣHREE ratios.In Sm-Nd isotopic geochemistry,Sm and Nd content and theεNd(0)value in CRE are significantly higher than those in north China loess.The higher TiO2content in CRE coincided with a high background concentration of Ti in the Sichuan Basin and the surrounding regions.The lowerΣREE and higher Sm,Nd,εNd(0)values are related to the wide distribution of basalt in the southwest Sichuan Basin.The elemental and isotopic geochemistry of CRE indicates that eolian materials in the CP predominantly come from the Sichuan Basin and the surrounding regions,which differs from loess deposits in the CLP.TAN Yuanlong QIAO Yansong ZHAO Zhizhong WANG Yan QI Lin FU Jianli LIU Zongxiu YAO Haitao WANG Shubing JIANG Fuchu 2013Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,6:3

20A High Density Linkage Map Facilitates QTL Mapping of Flowering Time in Brassica rapa显示文摘Flowering is a major developmental transition in the life-history of plants. Flowering time is under complex genetic control. In this study, 172 doubled haploid(DH) lines derived from a cross between two Chinese cabbage(Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis) DH lines, Y177 and Y195, were used for a high density linkage map construction and quantitative trait locus(QTL) mapping for flowering time in B. rapa. Parents and DH lines were resequenced at depth of 5× and 0.5× coverage, respectively. In total, 22 747 SNPs were called from the resequencing data and combined into 1 708 bins to construct the genetic linkage map. The map length was 958.6 c M, containing 887 bins and the average interval between binmarkers was 1.08 c M. A total of six QTLs controlling flowering time were detected under four different conditions.
