2The fossils of Orsten-type preservation from Middle and Upper Cambrian in Hunan, China——Three-dimensionally preserved soft- bodied fossils (Arthropods)显示文摘Exquisitely preserved three-dimensional soft- bodied fossils and typical Orsten-type preservation have been found from the strata of Middle and Late Cambrian in western Hunan, China. A preliminary description is provided for Hesslandona sp. (Phosphatocopida, Crustacea, Arthro-poda) and Skara sp. (Skaracarida, Crustaceam, Arthropoda). 3Ectopic activity induced by elevated atrial pressure in rabbit pulmonary vein in vitro显示文摘Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a common tachyarrhythmia and may cause serious complications, such as stroke. When atrial pressure was elevated, the effect refraction period (ERP) was shortened and the conductivity in atria was slowed and the heterogeneity of different parts of atria was increased. These changes facilitate the occurrence and maintenance of AF. Recent researches demonstrated that pulmonary veins (PVs) are important sources of ectopic beats in the initiation of paroxysmal AF. In patients with drug-resistant chronic AF and structural heart disease, after electrical cardioversion, the PVs are also the dominant trigger in reinitiating AF.~1 Yamane et al^2 (reported that,) AF patients were often with dilated PVs if the AF was initiated by focal activity in PVs. Atrial myocardial fibers wrap around the PVs entering the left atrium to form PV myocardial sleeves (PVMSs), and this structure is the origin of focal activity. Little is known about the effects of elevated atrial pressure on PV electrophysiology. 4Nonlinear Mathematical Modeling and Sensitivity Analysis of Hydraulic Drive Unit显示文摘The previous sensitivity analysis researches are not accurate enough and also have the limited reference value, because those mathematical models are relatively simple and the change of the load and the initial displacement changes of the piston are ignored, even experiment verification is not conducted. Therefore, in view of deficiencies above, a nonlinear mathematical model is established in this paper, including dynamic characteristics of servo valve, nonlinear characteristics of pressure-flow, initial displacement of servo cylinder piston and friction nonlinearity. The transfer function block diagram is built for the hydraulic drive unit closed loop position control, as well as the state equations. Through deriving the time-varying coefficient items matrix and time-varying free items matrix of sensitivity equations respectively, the expression of sensitivity equations based on the nonlinear mathematical model are obtained. According to structure parameters of hydraulic drive unit, working parameters, fluid transmission characteristics and measured friction-velocity curves, the simulation analysis of hydraulic drive unit is completed on the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform with the displacement step 2 mm, 5 mm and 10 mm, respectively. The simulation results indicate that the developed nonlinear mathematical model is sufficient by comparing the characteristic curves of experimental step response and simulation step response under different constant load. Then, the sensitivity function time-history curves of seventeen parameters are obtained, basing on each state vector time-history curve of step response characteristic. The maximum value of displacement variation percentage and the sum of displacement variation absolute values in the sampling time are both taken as sensitivity indexes. The sensitivity indexes values above are calculated and shown visually in histograms under different working conditions, and change rules are analyzed. Then the sensitivity indexes values of four measurable parameters, such as supply pressure, proportional gain, initial position of servo cylinder piston and load force, are verified experimentally on test platform of hydraulic drive unit, and the experimental research shows that the sensitivity analysis results obtained through simulation are approximate to the test results. 5Adaptive tracking controller using BP neural networks for a class of nonlinear systems显示文摘An BP neural-network-based adaptive control (NNAC) design method is described whose aim is to control a class of partially unknown nonlinear systems. Making use of the online identification of BP neural networks, the results of the identification could be used into the parameters of the controller. Not only the strong robustness with respect to uncertain dynamics and nonlinearities can be obtained, but also the output tracking error between the plant output and the desired reference output can asymptotically converge to zero by Lyapunov theory in the process of this design method. 6Large-Scale Discovery of Non-conventional Peptides in Maize and Arabidopsis through an Integrated Peptidogenomic Pipeline显示文摘Non-conventional peptides(NCPs),which include small open reading frame-encoded peptides,play critical roles in fundamental biological processes.In this study,we developed an integrated peptidogenomic pipeline using high-throughput mass spectra to probe a customized six-frame translation database and applied it to large-scale identification of NCPs in plants.A total of 1993 and 1860 NCPs were unambiguously identified in maize and Arabidopsis,respectively.These NCPs showed distinct characteristics compared with conventional peptides and were derived from introns,3′UTRs,5′UTRs,junctions,and intergenic regions.Furthermore,our results showed that translation events in unannotated transcripts occur more broadly than previously thought.In addition,we found that dozens of maize NCPs are enriched within regions associated with phenotypic variations and domestication selection,indicating that they potentially are involved in genetic regulation of complex traits and domestication in maize.Taken together,our study developed an integrated peptidogenomic pipeline for large-scale identification of NCPs in plants,which would facilitate global characterization of NCPs from other plants.The identification of large-scale NCPs in both monocot(maize)and dicot(Arabidopsis)plants indicates that a large portion of plant genome can be translated into biologically functional molecules,which has important implications for functional genomic studies.Shunxi Wang Lei Tian Haijun Liu Xiang Li Jinghua Zhang Xueyan Chen Xingmeng Jia Xu Zheng Shubiao Wu Yanhui Chen Jianbing Yan Liuji Wu 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,7:4
7Platinum-group Elements Geochemistry of the Yangliuping Magmatic Ni-Cu-PGE Sulfide Deposit:Implications of Its Genetic Link with the Extrusive Basalts显示文摘Primitive mantle normalized Platinum group elements (PGE) concentration patterns for the Zhengziyanwo intrusion and Dashibao Formation basalts are of positive slope, similar to most of the world class magmatic Ni Cu PGE sulfide deposits. Characters of this intrusion and its related ores and Dashibao Formation basalts are their negative Pt anomaly and high concentration of Rh relative to Pt and Pd, facts being interpreted to be the results of crystallization and fractionation of Pt alloys and spinel phase free crystallization history for the magma, respectively. 9Molecular and functional characterization of ferritin in abalone Haliotis diversicolor supertexta显示文摘Ferritin is an iron storage protein that plays a key role in the processes of physiology and pathology.In the present study,the authors reported the ferritin gene from abalone Haliotis diversicolor supertexta,which we named hds-ferritin.The full-length of hds-ferritin cDNA consisted of 879 bp with an ORF encoding a 171 amino acids.Amino acid sequence analysis revealed that hds-ferritin shared highly homology with other species.Real time PCR and western blot analysis showed that hds-ferritin was distributed ubiquitously in abalone tissues and had the highest expression level in digestive glands,but its transcripts are not modified remarkably by the stimulation with LPS.The recombinant protein was successfully expressed in Escherichia coli BL21(DE3),and the titre of anti-ferritin antibody was about 1:14 000.The effects of ROS and RNS on ferritin were analyzed in the present study.The results showed that H2O2 played an important role in decreasing hds-ferritin,however NO cation appeared to have a protecting effect on H2O2-medied reduction of hds-ferritin.XIE Jiasong CAO Xiaohua WU Liuji LUO Ming ZHU Zewen HUANG Yanqing WU Xinzhong 2012Acta Oceanologica Sinica2012,31,3:2

11Ascorbate peroxidase 1 confers resistance to southern corn leaf blight in maize显示文摘Southern corn leaf blight (SCLB), caused by Bipolarismaydis, is one of the most devastatingdiseases affecting maize production. However,only one SLCB resistance gene, conferring partialresistance, is currently known, underscoring theimportance of isolating new SCLB resistancerelatedgenes. Here, we performed a comparativeproteomic analysis and identified 258 proteinsshowing differential abundance during the maizeresponse to B. maydis. These proteins included anascorbate peroxidase (Zea mays ascorbate peroxidase1 (ZmAPX1)) encoded by a gene locatedwithin the mapping interval of a previously identifiedquantitative trait locus associated with SCLBresistance. ZmAPX1 overexpression resulted inlower H_(2)O_(2) accumulation and enhanced resistanceagainst B. maydis. Jasmonic acid (JA)contents and transcript levels for JA biosynthesisand responsive genes increased in ZmAPX1-overexpressing plants infected with B. maydis,whereas Zmapx1 mutants showed the oppositeeffects. We further determined that low levels of H_(2)O_(2) are accompanied by an accumulation of JAthat enhances SCLB resistance. These resultsdemonstrate that ZmAPX1 positively regulatesSCLB resistance by decreasing H_(2)O_(2) accumulationand activating the JA-mediated defensesignaling pathway. This study identified ZmAPX1as a potentially useful gene for increasing SCLBresistance.
