A local version of Hardy spaces associated with operators on metric spaces显示文摘Let(X,d,μ) be a metric measure space endowed with a distance d and a nonnegative Borel doubling measure μ.Let L be a second order self-adjoint positive operator on L2(X).Assume that the semigroup e tL generated by L satisfies the Gaussian upper bounds on L 2(X).In this article we study a local version of Hardy space h1L(X) associated with L in terms of the area function characterization, and prove their atomic characters.Furthermore,we introduce a Moser type local boundedness condition for L,and then we apply this condition to show that the space h1L(X) can be characterized in terms of the Littlewood-Paley function. Finally,a broad class of applications of these results is described.GONG RuMing LI Ji YAN LiXin 2013Science China Mathematics2013,56,2:5
A geomorphological response of beaches to Typhoon Meari in the eastern Shandong Peninsula in China显示文摘Eight representative beach profiles on the eastern coast of the Shandong Peninsula are observed and measured in2011 and 2012 to determine the coastal processes under the lower tropical wind speed condition and the beach response to and recovery from the tropical storm Meari in a rare typhoon region. The results show that it is the enhancement and directional change of cross-shore and longshore sediment transports caused by Meari that leads to the beach morphological changes, and most of the sediment transports occur during the pre-Meari landing phase. The erosional scarp formation and the berm or beach face erosion are the main geomorphological responses of the beaches to the storm. The storm characteristics are more important than the beach shapes in the storm response process of the beaches on Shandong Peninsula. The typhoon is a fortuitous strong dynamic event, and the effect on the dissipative beach is more obvious than it is on the reflective beach in the study region.Furthermore, the beach trend is the main factor that controlls the storm effect intensity, and it is also closely related to the recovery of the beach profiles.DING Dong YANG Jichao LI Guangxue DADA Olusegun A GONG Lixin WANG Nan WANG Xiangdong ZHANG Bin 2015Acta Oceanologica Sinica2015,34,9:4
Artificial intelligence in gastric cancer:applications and challenges显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC)is one of the most common malignant tumors with high mortality.Accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions for GC rely heavily on human experts’careful judgments on medical images. However, the improvement of the accuracy is hindered by imaging conditions, limited experience, objective criteria, and inter-observer discrepancies.Recently, the developments of machine learning, especially deep-learning algorithms, have been facilitating computers to extract more information from data automatically.Researchers are exploring the far-reaching applications of artificial intelligence(AI)in various clinical practices, including GC.Herein,we aim to provide a broad framework to summarize current research on AI in GC.In the screening of GC,AI can identify precancerous diseases and assist in early cancer detection with endoscopic examination and pathological confirmation. In the diagnosis of GC,AI can support tumor-node-metastasis(TNM)staging and subtype classification. For treatment decisions,AI can help with surgical margin determination and prognosis prediction.Meanwhile, current approaches are challenged by data scarcity and poor interpretability. To tackle these problems, more regulated data, unified processing procedures, and advanced algorithms are urgently needed to build more accurate and robust AI models for GC.Runnan Cao Lei Tang Mengjie Fang Lianzhen Zhong Siwen Wang Lixin Gong Jiazheng Li Di Dong Jie Tian 2022Gastroenterology Report2022,10,1:3
Recent advances in alkaline hydrogen oxidation reaction显示文摘The development of highly efficient electrocatalysts toward hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR)under alkaline media is essential for the commercialization of alkaline exchange membrane fuel cells(AEMFCs).However, the HOR kinetics in alkaline is two to three orders of magnitude slower than that in acid.More critically, fundamental understanding of the sluggish kinetics derived from the p H effect is still debatable. In this review, the recent development of understanding HOR mechanism and rational design of advanced HOR electrocatalysts are summarized.First, recent advances in the theories focusing on fundamental understandings of HOR under alkaline electrolyte are comprehensively discussed. Then, from the aspect of intermediates binding energy, optimizing hydrogen binding energy(HBE)and increasing hydroxyl binding energy(OHBE),the strategies for designing efficient alkaline HOR catalysts are summarized. At last, perspectives for the future research on alkaline HOR are pointed out.Lixin Su Dan Gong Yiming Jin Dean Wu Wei Luo 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3:2

An Old Story Retold: Loss of G1 Control Defines A Distinct Genomic Subtype of Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma显示文摘Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) has a high mortality rate. To determine the molecular basis of ESCC development, this study sought to identify characteristic genome-wide alterations in ESCC, including exonic mutations and structural alterations. The clinical implications of these genetic alterations were also analyzed. Exome sequencing and verification were performed for nine pairs of ESCC and the matched blood samples, followed by validation with additional samples using Sanger sequencing. Whole-genome SNP arrays were employed to detect copy number alteration(CNA) and loss of heterozygosity(LOH) in 55 cases, including the nine ESCC samples subjected to exome sequencing. A total of 108 non-synonymous somatic mutations(NSSMs) in102 genes were verified in nine patients. The chromatin modification process was found to be enriched in our gene ontology(GO) analysis. Tumor genomes with TP53 mutations were significantly more unstable than those without TP53 mutations. In terms of the landscape of genomic alterations, deletion of 9p21.3 covering CDKN2A/2B(30.9%), amplification of 11q13.3 covering CCND1(30.9%), and TP53 point mutation(50.9%) occurred in two-thirds of the cases. These results suggest that the deregulation of the G1 phase during the cell cycle is a key event in ESCC.Furthermore, six minimal common regions were found to be significantly altered in ESCC samples and three of them, 9p21.3, 7p11.2, and 3p12.1, were associated with lymph node metastasis. With the high correlation of TP53 mutation and genomic instability in ESCC, the amplification of CCND1, the deletion of CDKN2A/2B, and the somatic mutation of TP53 appear to play pivotal roles via G1 deregulation and therefore helps to classify this cancer into different genomic subtypes. These findings provide clinical significance that could be useful in future molecular diagnoses and therapeutic targeting.Qiyan Wang Jian Bai Amir Abliz Ying Liu Kenan Gong Jingjing Li Wenjie Shi Yaqi Pan Fangfang Liu Shujuan Lai Haijun Yang Changdong Lu Lixin Zhang Wei Chen Ruiping Xu Hong Cai Yang Ke Changqing Zeng 2015Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2015,13,4:1

A novel detection method of Cryptosporidium parvum infection in cattle based on Cryptosporidium parvum virus 1显示文摘Cryptosporidium parvum is an important zoonotic parasite that causes significant economic loss in the animal husbandry industry, especially the cattle industry. As there is no specific vaccine or drug against Cryptosporidium,a rapid and accurate method for the detection of C.parvum is of great significance. In this study, colloidal gold strips were developed based on Cryptosporidium parvum virus 1 (CSpV1) for the detection of C.parvum infection in cattle fecal samples. The colloidal gold solution was prepared by reducing trisodium citrate and the CSpV1 #5 monoclonal antibody was labeled with colloidal gold.A polyclonal antibody against the CSpV1 capsid protein and an anti-mouse IgG antibody were coated on the colloidal gold strips for use in the test and control lines, respectively. Our results showed that the detection sensitivity in fecal samples was up to a 1:64 dilution. There was no cross-reaction with Cryptosporidium andersoni or Giardia in the fecal samples. The different preservation conditions (room temperature,4℃,and 37℃) and preservation time (7,30,60,and 90 days) were analyzed. The data showed that the strips could be preserved for 90 days at 4℃ and for 60 days at room temperature or 37℃.The colloidal gold strips were used to detect the samples of 120 clinical fecal in Changchun,China. The results indicated that the rate of a positive test was 5%(6/120).This study provides a rapid and accurate method for detecting C.parvum infection in cattle and humans.Lixin Tai Jianhua Li Jigang Yin Nan Zhang Ju Yang He Li Zhengtao Yang Pengtao Gong Xichen Zhang 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,1:1
Stable carbon and hydrogen isotopic characteristics of natural gas from Taibei sag, Turpan-Hami Basin, NW China显示文摘Turpan-Hami Basin is a major petroliferous basin in China. To date the natural gas exploration is concentrated in the Taibei sag. The origin and source of natural gas in the Taibei sag has long been controversial. To further investigate the origin and source of the natural gas in the Taibei sag, combined with previous studies and the local geological backgrounds, this study collected 23 gas samples from the Baka, Qiuling, Shanshan and Wenmi oil fields in the Taibei sag and analyzed the sample composition, stable carbon and hydrogen isotopes of all the gas samples. The results show that, gases from the four oil fields in the Taibei sag are dominated by hydrocarbon gas and belong to wet gas. Methane accounts for 65.84% to 97.94%, the content of heavy hydrocarbon (C2-5) can be up to 34.98%, while the content of nonhydrocarbon (CO2, N2) is trace. The δ13C1 value is –44.9‰ to –40.4‰,δ13C2 is –28.2‰ to –24.9‰,δ13C3 is –27.1‰ to –18.0‰ and δ13C4 is –26.7‰ to –22.1;while the variation of δD1 is not significant from –272‰ to –252‰,δD2 is –236‰ to –200‰ and δD3 is –222‰ to –174‰. Methane and its homologues (C2-5) are characterized by normal stable carbon and hydrogen isotopic distribution pattern, i.e., with the increase of carbon number, methane and its homologues become more and more enriched in 13C or D (δ13C1<δ13C2<δ13C3<δ13C4<δ13C5,δD1<δD2<δD3), which is consistent with the carbon and hydrogen isotopic features of typical thermogenic gas. All these results show that the natural gases in the four oil fields are coal-derived gas with low maturity (Ro averaged at 0.7%), and are sourced from the Middle-Lower Jurassic coal measure. The hydrogen isotopic data of natural gas are affected by both thermal maturity and the water medium of the environment where source rocks are formed. The hydrogen isotopic data indicate that the source rocks are formed in terrestrial limnetic facies with freshwater. Natural gases from Well Ba23 and Well Ke19 experienced biodegradation in the late stage.NI Yunyan LIAO Fengrong GONG Deyu JIAO Lixin GAO Jinliang YAO Limiao 2019Petroleum Exploration and Development2019,46,3:0
Exosome miRNAs profiling in serum and prognostic evaluation in patients with multiple myeloma显示文摘MicroRNAs(MiRNAs)carried by exosomes play pivotal roles in the crosstalk between cell components in the tumor microenvironment. Our study aimed at identifying the expression profile of exosomal miRNAs(exo-miRNAs)in the serum of multiple myeloma(MM)patients and investigating the regulation networks and their potential functions by integrated bioinformatics analysis.Exosomes in serum from 19 newly diagnosed MM patients and 9 healthy donors were isolated and the miRNA profile was investigated by small RNA sequencing.Differential expression of exo-miRNAs was calculated and target genes of miRNAs were predicted.CytoHubba was applied to identify the hub miRNAs and core target genes. The LASSO Cox regression model was used to develop the prognostic model, and the ESTIMATE immune score was calculated to investigate the correlation between the model and immune status in MM patients. The top six hub differentially expressed serum exo-miRNAs were identified.513 target genes of the six hub exo-miRNAs were confirmed to be differentially expressed in MM cells in the Zhan Myeloma microarray dataset.Functional enrichment analysis indicated that these target genes were mainly involved in mRNA splicing, cellular response to stress, and deubiquitination.13 core exo-miRNA target genes were applied to create a novel prognostic signature to provide risk stratification for MM patients, which is associated with the immune microenvironment of MM patients. Our study comprehensively investigated the exo-miRNA profiles in MM patients.A novel prognostic signature was constructed to facilitate the risk stratification of MM patients with distinct outcomes.Teng Fang Hao Sun Xiyue Sun Yi He Peixia Tang Lixin Gong Zhen Yu Lanting Liu Shiyi Xie Tingyu Wang Zhenshu Xu Shuhua Yi Gang An Yan Xu Guoqing Zhu Lugui Qiu Mu Hao 2023Blood Science2023,5,3:0
