1Fractional Envelope Analysis for Rolling Element Bearing Weak Fault Feature Extraction显示文摘The bearing weak fault feature extraction is crucial to mechanical fault diagnosis and machine condition monitoring.Envelope analysis based on Hilbert transform has been widely used in bearing fault feature extraction. A generalization of the Hilbert transform, the fractional Hilbert transform is defined in the frequency domain, it is based upon the modification of spatial filter with a fractional parameter, and it can be used to construct a new kind of fractional analytic signal. By performing spectrum analysis on the fractional envelope signal, the fractional envelope spectrum can be obtained. When weak faults occur in a bearing, some of the characteristic frequencies will clearly appear in the fractional envelope spectrum. 2Characterization of a Novel Anti-DR5 Monoclonal Antibody WD1 with the Potential to Induce Tumor Cell Apoptosis显示文摘TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) is a TNF family member capable of inducing apoptosis. Death receptor 5 (DR 5) is a key receptor of TRAIL and plays an important role in TRAIL-induced apoptosis. To prepare monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against DR5,cDNA encoding soluble DR5 (sDR5) was firstly amplified by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) with specific primers,and then inserted into a prokaryotic expression vector pET-30a. The recombinant plasmid was expressed in Escherichia coli strain BL21 (DE3),and sDR5 was purified by nickel affinity chromatography. As an antigen,sDR5 was used to immunize mice. Hybridomas secreting antibodies against sDR5 were identified. One positive clone was selected to produce antibody,WD1. ELISA and immunofluorescence demonstrated that WD1 could bind recombinant sDR5 and membrane-bound DR5 (mDR5) on Jurkat and Molt-4 cells. ATPLite assays showed that Jurkat and Molt-4 cells were sensitive to the antibody in a dose dependent manner. The Annexin V/PI assays and Giemsa's staining both showed that WD1 could induce Jurkat cell apoptosis efficiently. Transient transfection of 293T cells and indirect immunofluorescence assay demonstrated that mAb (WD1) couldn't cross-react with DR4. Our findings indicated that the novel antibody,WD1 could act as a direct agonist,bind DR5 characteristically,and initiate efficient apoptotic signaling and tumor regression. 3Parameter Estimation of Multi-component Chirp Signal Based on Differential Evolution显示文摘Chirp signals show energy aggregation in the fractional Fourier domain(FrFD) w hich can be used to estimate the parameter of the signals. In this paper,a parameter estimation method for multi-component chirp signal w hich corrupted by w hite Gaussian noise is proposed based on the discrete fractional Fourier transform(DFrFT) and the differential evolution( DE) algorithm. The proposed algorithm uses the DE algorithm instead of the conventional fine search algorithm to detect the peak of the signals in the FrFD. The paper simulated the influence of the noise and the resolution of the proposed algorithm. 5A NOVEL SPACE-COMPRESSED CHINESE WORD DIGRAM BASED ON BI-CHARACTER CO-ARTICULATION FREQUENCY显示文摘Chinese Phonetic-Character Conversion(CPCC) is an important issue in Chinese speech recognition and Chinese sentence keyboard input system. The approaches based on large corpus statistic Markov language model (such as bigram, trigram) become more and more popular today. This paper presents an improved Chinese word bigram, space-compressed Chinese word bigram, which stores the bi-word co-articulation frequency in the form of the bi-character co-articulation frequency. The bi-word co-articulation frequency is estimated from the bi-character co-articulation frequency library. 6Prognostic Condition Monitoring for Wind Turbine Drivetrains via Generator Current Analysis显示文摘Maintenance costs account for a significant portion of the total cost of electricity generated by wind turbines.Currently in the wind power industry,maintenance is mainly performed on regular schedules or when significant damage occurs in a wind turbine making it inoperable,instead of being determined by the actual condition of the wind turbine.Among the total maintenance costs,approximately 25%~35%is related to regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and 65%~75%to unscheduled corrective maintenance.To reduce the failure rate and level and maintenance costs and improve the availability,reliability,safety,and lifespans of wind turbines,it is desirable to perform condition-based predictive maintenance for wind turbines,which will require a high-fidelity online prognostic condition monitoring system(CMS)for fault diagnosis and prognosis and remaining useful life(RUL)prediction of wind turbines.Most of the existing wind turbine CMSs are based on vibration monitoring and have no or limited capability in fault prognosis and RUL prediction.Compared to vibration monitoring,the prognostic condition monitoring techniques based on generator current signal analysis proposed recently have significant advantages in terms of cost,hardware complexity,implementation,and reliability.This paper discusses the principles and challenges of using generator current signals for prognostic condition monitoring of wind turbine drivetrains and presents an overview of recent advancements in this area.Wei Qiao Liyan Qu 2018Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2018,4,3:1
7A Computer-Aided System for Ocular Myasthenia Gravis Diagnosis显示文摘The current mode of clinical aided diagnosis of Ocular Myasthenia Gravis(OMG)is time-consuming and laborious,and it lacks quantitative standards.An aided diagnostic system for OMG is proposed to solve this problem.The values calculated by the system include three clinical indicators:eyelid distance,sclera distance,and palpebra superior fatigability test time.For the first two indicators,the semantic segmentation method was used to extract the pathological features of the patient's eye image and a semantic segmentation model was constructed.The patient eye image was divided into three regions:iris,sclera,and background.The indicators were calculated based on the position of the pixels in the segmentation mask.For the last indicator,a calculation method based on the Eyelid Aspect Ratio(EAR)is proposed;this method can better reflect the change of eyelid distance over time.The system was evaluated based on the collected patient data.The results show that the segmentation model achieves a mean Intersection-Over-Union(mIoU)value of 86.05%.The paired-sample T-test was used to compare the results obtained by the system and doctors,and the p values were all greater than 0.05.Thus,the system can reduce the cost of clinical diagnosis and has high application value.Guanjie Liu Yan Wei Yunshen Xie Jianqiang Li Liyan Qiao Ji-jiang Yang 2021Tsinghua Science and Technology2021,26,5:1
8Cell-based therapy in Alzheimer's disease: Current knowledge and perspective显示文摘Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is the most prevalent type of dementia,and its neuropathology is characterized by the deposition of insolubleβ‐amyloid(Aβ)peptides,intracellular neurofibrillary tangles,amyloid angiopathy,age‐related brain atrophy,synaptic pathology,white matter rarefaction,granulovacuolar degeneration,neuron loss,and neuroinflammation.Although much is known about the neurobiology of AD,very few conventional therapies are available to arrest or slow the disease.There is an urgent need for novel therapeutic approaches for AD.AD subjects have significantly fewer viable precursor cells in the hippocampus compared with age‐matched healthy control subjects.However,the viable precursor cells that remain in AD and age‐matched healthy control brain specimens can be induced to differentiate.To facilitate or mimic the natural compensatory effect in AD,cell therapy,including endogenous and exogenous stem cells,has been considered in AD.In this review,we focus on the history and development of cell therapy in AD,and consider the role of cell therapy as a potential treatment for AD.Liyan Qiao Hongyun Huang Lin Chen 2016Translational Neuroscience and Clinics2016,2,1:0
9Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate Receptor Encephalitis Associated with Peripheral Nerve Injury:A Case Report显示文摘A patient with Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor(NMDAR)encephalitis presented with quadriplegia and multiple peripheral neuropathy with axonal lesion,confirmed by electrophysiological examination.The muscle strength in the limbs of the patient gradually recovered almost completely,accompanied by the reversal of neuroelectrophysiological symptoms,and the improvement of clinical manifestations,including consciousness,respiration and cognitive function.It was revealed that the neuropathy in NMDAR encephalitis involved motor or sensorimotor nerves more than pure sensory nerves.No autoantibodies were detectable,in contrast to other anti-NMDAR overlapping syndromes.Although the underlying mechanism remains unclear,it may be associated with autoimmune generalization.In conclusion,when patients with NMDAR encephalitis present with severe limb paralysis,the possibility of peripheral nerve damage should be considered.Fangjie Huang Shimei Zhou Mangsuo Zhao Jing Wang Jingfen Huang HongzhiGuan Liyan Qiao 2020Journal of Advances in Medicine Science2020,3,2:0

12Sedimentary Characteristics of the Second Marine Layer During the Late Marine Isotope Stage 3 in Southern Yellow Sea and Their Response to the East Asian Monsoon显示文摘We use the particle size of sediments in core YS01 A to study the sedimentary environment of the mud deposit in the central South Yellow Sea of China during late Marine Isotope Stages 3(MIS3;40.5 kyr–31.3 kyr).In addition,the East Asian Monsoon and its relationship with the North Atlantic Ocean climate change are discussed based on the sensitive grain-size calculation and the spectrum analysis.The results show that during late MIS3,the muddy area in the central South Yellow Sea experienced the evolution of coastal facies,shallow marine facies,coastal facies,and continental facies,with weak hydrodynamic conditions.Compared with other climate indicators,we found that there were many century to millennium-scale climate signals documented in the muddy area sediments in the central South Yellow Sea.According to our particle size results,three strong winter monsoon events occurred at 37.6 kyr,35.6 kyr and 32.2 kyr.The East Asian Winter Monsoon records in core YS01 A are consistent with the Greenland ice core and the Hulu cave stalagmite δ^(18)O.The millennial and centennial scale cycles,which are 55 yr,72 yr,115 yr,262 yr respectively,correspond to solar activity cycles,while the 1049 yr and 2941 yr cycles correspond to the Dansgaard-Oeschger cycles.These cycles indicate that the paleoclimate evolution of the area was controlled by the solar activities,with the high-latitude driving thermohaline circulation as the main energy conveyor belt,followed by the sea-air-land amplification of the winter monsoon variation in the central Yellow Sea in the late MIS3.ZHANG Yang LI Guangxue GUO Hongzhou LIU Yong WANG Haoyin XU Jishang DING Dong QIAO Lulu MA Yanyan WANG Liyan LI Qian 2018Journal of Ocean University of China2018,17,5:0
