1Genetic characterization and linkage disequilibrium mapping of resistance to gray leaf spot in maize(Zea mays L.)显示文摘Gray leaf spot(GLS),caused by Cercospora zeae-maydis,is an important foliar disease of maize(Zea mays L.)worldwide,resistance to which is controlled by multiple quantitative trait loci(QTL).To gain insights into the genetic architecture underlying the resistance to this disease,an association mapping population consisting of 161 inbred lines was evaluated for resistance to GLS in a plant pathology nursery at Shenyang in 2010 and 2011.Subsequently,a genome-wide association study,using 41,101 single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs),identified 51 SNPs significantly(P<0.001)associated with GLS resistance,which could be converted into 31 QTL.In addition,three candidate genes related to plant defense were identified,including nucleotidebinding-site/leucine-rich repeat,receptor-like kinase genes similar to those involved in basal defense.Two genic SNPs,PZE-103142893 and PZE-109119001,associated with GLS resistance in chromosome bins 3.07 and 9.07,can be used for marker-assisted selection(MAS)of GLS resistance.These results provide an important resource for developing molecular markers closely linked with the target trait,enhancing breeding efficiency.Liyu Shi Xiangling Lv Jianfeng Weng Hanyong Zhu Changlin Liu Zhuanfang Hao Yu Zhou Degui Zhang Mingshun Li Xiaoke Ci Xinhai Li Shihuang Zhang 2014The Crop Journal2014,2,Z1:9
2Insight into fouling behavior of poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)hollow fiber membranes caused by dextran with different pore size distributions显示文摘Membrane fouling is the key problem that occurs in membrane process for water treatment. However, how membrane microstructure influences the fouling behavior is still not clear. In this study, fouling behavior caused by dextran was deeply and systematically investigated by employing four poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)membranes with different pore sizes, ranging from 24 to 94 nm. The extent of fouling by dextran was accurately characterized by pore reduction, flux decline, and the change of critical flux. The result shows that membrane with the smallest pore size of 24 nm experienced the smallest fouling rate and the lowest fouling extent. As the membrane pore size increased, the critical flux ranges were 105-114, 63-73, 38-44 and 34-43 L·m^(-2)·h^(-1),respectively. The critical flux and fouling resistances indicated that the fouling propensity increases with the increase of membrane pore size. Two pilot membrane modules with mean pore size of 25 nm and 60 nm were applied in membrane filtration of surface water treatment. 3Research on coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical dynamic response characteristics of saturated porous deep-sea sediments under vibration of mining vehicle显示文摘The excessive deformation of deep-sea sediments caused by the vibration of the mining machine will adversely affect the efficiency and safety of mining.Combined with the deep-sea environment,the coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical problem for saturated porous deep-sea sediments subject to the vibration of the mining vehicle is investigated.Based on the Green-Lindsay(G-L)generalized thermoelastic theory and Darcy’s law,the model of thermo-hydro-mechanical dynamic responses for saturated porous deep-sea sediments under the vibration of the mining vehicle is established.We obtain the analytical solutions of non-dimensional vertical displacement,excess pore water pressure,vertical stress,temperature,and change in the volume fraction field with the normal mode analysis method,and depict them graphically.The normal mode analysis method uses the canonical coordinate transformation to solve the equation,which can quickly decouple the equation by ignoring the modal coupling effect on the basis of the canonical mode.The results indicate that the vibration frequency has obvious influence on the vertical displacement,excess pore water pressure,vertical stress,and change in volume fraction field.The loading amplitude has a great effect on the physical quantities in the foundation,and the changes of the physical quantities increase with the increase in loading amplitude.Wei ZHU Xinyu SHI Rong HUANG Liyue HUANG Wenbo MA 2021Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2021,42,9:1

6A polarization-sensitive,self-powered,broadband and fast Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene photodetector from visible to near-infrared driven by photogalvanic effects显示文摘Broadband,self-power,and polarization-sensitivity are desirable qualities for a photodetector.However,currently few photodetectors can fulfill these requirements simultaneously.Here,we propose a Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)(MXene)photodetector that is driven by the photogalvanic effect with impressive performances.A polarization-sensitive photocurrent is generated at zero bias under the illumination of linearly polarized laser light of 1064 nm,with an extinction ratio of 1.11.Meanwhile,a fast response with a 32/28 ms rise/decay time and a large on/off switching ratio of 120 are achieved.Besides,a robust zero-bias photocurrent is also generated in the photodetector under the illumination of 940 and 620 nm light,as well as the white light,showing a broadband photoresponse from the near-infrared to visible.Moreover,quantum transport simulations indicate that the photogalvanic effect plays an important role in the generation of the polarized photocurrent at zero bias due to the broken space inversion symmetry of the stacked few-layer Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x).Our results shed light on a potential application of the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)–MXene in the low-power photodetection with high performances.Bo Liu Liyu Qian Yanliang Zhao Yiwen Zhang Feng Liu Yi Zhang Yiqun Xie Wangzhou Shi 2022Frontiers of physics2022,17,5:1
7A Linear Algorithm for Quantized Event-Triggered Optimization Over Directed Networks显示文摘Dear Editor,This letter investigates a class of distributed optimization problems with constrained communication.A quantized discrete-time eventtriggered zero-gradient-sum algorithm(QDE-ZGS)is developed to optimize the sum of local functions over weight-balanced directed networks.Based on an encoder-decoder scheme and a zooming-in technique,an event-triggered quantization communication is designed.Theoretical analysis shows that the exact convergence to the global optimal solution is guaranteed when the triggering threshold is bounded and the scaled sequence introduced by the zooming-in technique is quadratic summable.When the scaled sequence is bounded by an exponential decay function,QDE-ZGS converges linearly to the unique global optimal solution.Numerical simulations are conducted to demonstrate the theoretical results.Yang Yuan Liyu Shi Wangli He 2022IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,6:0
8Genome-wide identification of the CONSTANS-LIKE(COL)family and mechanism of fruit senescence regulation by PpCOL8 in sand pear(Pyrus pyrifolia)显示文摘Pyrus pyrifolia Nakai‘Whangkeumbae'is a sand pear fruit with excellent nutritional quality and taste.However,the industrial development of pear fruit is significantly limited by its short shelf life.Salicylic acid(SA),a well-known phytohormone,can delay fruit senescence and improve shelf life.However,the mechanism by which SA regulates CONSTANS-LIKE genes(COLs)during fruit senescence and the role of COL genes in mediating fruit senescence in sand pear are poorly understood.In this study,22 COL genes were identified in sand pear,including four COLs(Pp COL8,Pp COL9a,Pp COL9b,and Pp COL14)identified via transcriptome analysis and 18 COLs through genome-wide analysis.These COL genes were divided into three subgroups according to the structural domains of the COL protein.Pp COL8,with two B-box motifs and one CCT domain,belonged to the first subgroup.In contrast,the other three Pp COLs,Pp COL9a,Pp COL9b,and Pp COL14,with similar conserved protein domains and gene structures,were assigned to the third subgroup.The four COLs showed different expression patterns in pear tissues and were preferentially expressed at the early stage of fruit development.Moreover,the expression of Pp COL8 was inhibited by exogenous SA treatment,while SA up-regulated the expression of Pp COL9a and Pp COL9b.Interestingly,Pp COL8 interacts with Pp MADS,a MADS-box protein preferentially expressed in fruit,and SA up-regulated its expression.While the production of ethylene and the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)were increased in Pp COL8-overexpression sand pear fruit,the antioxidant enzyme(POD and SOD)activity and the expression of Pp POD1 and Pp SOD1 in the sand pear fruits were down-regulated,which showed that Pp COL8 promoted sand pear fruit senescence.In contrast,the corresponding changes were the opposite in Pp MADS-overexpression sand pear fruits,suggesting that Pp MADS delayed sand pear fruit senescence.The co-transformation of Pp COL8 and Pp MADS also delayed sand pear fruit senescence.The results of this study revealed that Pp COL8 can play a key role in pear fruit senescence by interacting with Pp MADS through the SA signaling pathway.Yue Xu Shurui Song Huiying Wang Xilong Cao Xinran Zhao Wenli Wang Liyue Huo Yawei Li Misganaw Wassie Bin Lu Liang Chen Haiyan Shi 2024Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,4:0
9Multiplex CRISPR/Cas9-mediated knockout of soybean LNK2 advances flowering time显示文摘Flowering time is an important agronomic trait for soybean yield and adaptation. However, the genetic basis of soybean adaptation to diverse latitudes is still not clear. Four NIGHT LIGHT-INDUCIBLE AND CLOCK-REGULATED 2(LNK2) homeologs of Arabidopsis thaliana LNK2 were identified in soybean. Three single-guide RNAs were designed for editing the four LNK2 genes. A transgene-free homozygous quadruple mutant of the LNK2 genes was developed using the CRISPR(clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats)/Cas9(CRISPR-associated protein 9). Under long-day(LD) conditions, the quadruple mutant flowered significantly earlier than the wild-type(WT). Quantitative real-time PCR(q RT-PCR)revealed that transcript levels of LNK2 were significantly lower in the quadruple mutant than in the WT under LD conditions. LNK2 promoted the expression of the legume-specific E1 gene and repressed the expression of FT2 a. Genetic markers were developed to identify LNK2 mutants for soybean breeding.These results indicate that CRISPR/Cas9-mediated targeted mutagenesis of four LNK2 genes shortens flowering time in soybean. 10Bioinformatic Analysis of zm ERECTA-LIKE2Gene from Zea mays显示文摘Zm ERECTA-LIKE2 sequences were isolated according to the Zea mays genome. The study indicates that zm ERECTALIKE2 is composed of 2 410 nucleotides and encodes a receptor-like kinase which consists of 774 amino acids by biological analysis.
