| 1 | Visible light-induced N-doped TiO_2 nanoparticles for the degradation of microcystin-LR显示文摘N-doped nano-crystalline TiO2 powders have been synthesized by the sol-gel method.The shape and crystal structure of the resulting N-doped TiO2 were investigated by X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS),X-ray spectroscopy (XRD),Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and UV-vis reflection spectrum.The results showed that doping TiO2 with nitrogen can lower its band gap and apparently shift its optical response to the visible region.Under the visible light (λ> 420 nm) irradiation,the MC-LR was degraded by the synthesized N-TiO2 nano-material.The variation of MC-LR amount and its intermediates were detected by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and LC-MS,respectively.The mineralization of MC-LR was determined by total organic carbon (TOC) analysis.Simultaneously,transient oxidative species generated during photocatalysis were tracked by electron spin resonance (ESR) and Peroxidase method.All these results indicated that visible-light excited N-TiO2 can activate molecular oxygen and thereby achieve degradation of MC-LR completely within 14 h.The removal of 59% of TOC was achieved after 20 h irradiation.The major oxidative species in the system were hydroxyl radical (·OH) and H2O2.13 Kinds of intermediates were primarily identified in the process.Based on these results,a reasonable conclusion was drawn for the degradation of MC-LR wherein its four positions are easy to be attacked by the photo-generated OH radical followed by the hydrolyzation of peptides. | YANG Jing,CHEN DengXia,DENG AnPing,FANG YanFen,LUO GuangFu,LI DeJiang,LI RuiPing & HUANG YingPing Alan G.MacDiarmid Research Institute of Renewable Energy,China Three Gorges University,Yichang 443000,China | 2010 | Science China Chemistry2010,53,8: | 12 |
| 2 | Noxious invasive Eupatorium adenophorum may be a moving target:Implications of the finding of a native natural enemy,Dorylus orientalis显示文摘Eupatorium adenophorum is a noxious invasive weed that is distributed throughout subtropical areas worldwide.Enemy release may be at least one of the reasons underlying its success as an invader.In this study,we observed damage to the epidermis,cortex,phloem,cambium,and xylem tissues of roots and stems around the root collar of E.adenophorum growing in an experimental field in Yunnan Province,southwest China.The damage was caused by Dorylus orientalis,a polyphagous ant feeding on the weed and resulted in the death of the plants by interrupting nutrient exchange between shoots and roots.This ant showed selectivity for the invader to some extent.The finding of D.orientalis and other native enemies indicate that E.adenophorum may gradually naturalize in introduced landscapes.In addition,this ant may have potential for use as a biocontrol agent against the invader. | NIU YanFen FENG YuLong XIE JianLei LUO FuCheng | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,33: | 10 |
| 3 | Vascularized bone regeneration accelerated by 3D-printed nanosilicate-functionalized polycaprolactone scaffold显示文摘Critical oral-maxillofacial bone defects,damaged by trauma and tumors,not only affect the physiological functions and mental health of patients but are also highly challenging to reconstruct.Personalized biomaterials customized by 3D printing technology have the potential to match oralmaxillofacial bone repair and regeneration requirements.Laponite(LAP)nanosilicates have been added to biomaterials to achieve biofunctional modification owing to their excellent biocompatibility and bioactivity.Herein,porous nanosilicate-functionalized polycaprolactone(PCL/LAP)was fabricated by 3D printing technology,and its bioactivities in bone regeneration were investigated in vitro and in vivo.In vitro experiments demonstrated that PCL/LAP exhibited good cytocompatibility and enhanced the viability of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs).PCL/LAP functioned to stimulate osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs at the mRNA and protein levels and elevated angiogenic gene expression and cytokine secretion.Moreover,BMSCs cultured on PCL/LAP promoted the angiogenesis potential of endothelial cells by angiogenic cytokine secretion.Then,PCL/LAP scaffolds were implanted into the calvarial defect model.Toxicological safety of PCL/LAP was confirmed,and significant enhancement of vascularized bone formation was observed.Taken together,3D-printed PCL/LAP scaffolds with brilliant osteogenesis to enhance bone regeneration could be envisaged as an outstanding bone substitute for a promising change in oral-maxillofacial bone defect reconstruction. | Xiongcheng Xu Long Xiao Yanmei Xu Jin Zhuo Xue Yang Li Li Nianqi Xiao Jing Tao Quan Zhong Yanfen Li Yuling Chen Zhibin Du Kai Luo | 2021 | Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,6: | 3 |
| 4 | The Estimation Methods for Agricultural Surplus Labor Based on Stochastic Frontier Production Function显示文摘The existing calculation methods for the number of agricultural surplus labor have a common flaw,that is,they can not reflect the impact of technical efficiency changes in agricultural production on the surplus labor. Based on the basic principle of stochastic frontier production function,this paper calculates the agricultural production technical efficiency of various provinces,and selects the province with the highest technical efficiency to assume that its agricultural labor is fully utilized,and there is no agricultural surplus labor. With the ratio of agricultural labor number to agricultural output value in this province as a reference,this paper calculates the number of agricultural surplus labor in other provinces. | 13 | The effect of increased atmospheric temperature and CO_2 concentration during crop growth on the chemical composition and in vitro rumen fermentation characteristics of wheat straw显示文摘This experiment was c onducted to investigate the effects of increased atmospheric temperature and CO_2concentration during crop growth on the chemical composition and in vitro rumen fermentation characteristics of wheat straw.The field experiment was carried out from November 2012 to June 2013 at Changshu(31°32'93 'N,120°41'88' E) agro-ecological experimental station.A total of three treatments were set.The concentration of CO_2was increased to 500 umol/mol in the first treatment(CO_2 group).The temperature was increased by 2 ℃ in the second treatment(TEM group) and the concentration of CO_2 and temperature were both increased in the third treatment(CO_2 + TEM group).The mean temperature and concentration of CO_2 in control group were 10.5 ℃ and413 umol/mol.At harvesting,the wheat straws were collected and analyzed for chemical composition and in vitro digestibility.Results showed that dry matter was significantly increased in all three treatments.Ether extracts and neutral detergent fiber were significantly increased in TEM and CO_2 + TEM groups.Crude protein was significantly decreased in CO_2 + TEM group.In vitro digestibility analysis of wheat straw revealed that gas production was significantly decreased in CO_2 and CO_2 + TEM groups.Methane production was significantly decreased in TEM and CO_2 + TEM groups.Ammonia nitrogen and microbial crude protein were significantly decreased in all three treatments.Total volatile fatty acids were significantly decreased in CO_2 and CO_2 + TEM groups.In conclusion,the chemical composition of the wheat straw was affected by temperature and CO_2 and the in vitro digestibility of wheat straw was reduced,especially in the combined treatment of temperature and CO_2. | Xiangyu He Yanping Wu Min Cai Chunlong Mu Weihong Luo Yanfen Cheng Weiyun Zhu | 2015 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,4: | 1 |

| 15 | Synthesis of carbon dots with a tunable photoluminescence and their applications for the detection of acetone and hydrogen peroxide显示文摘Carbon dots(CDs) with multi-color emissive properties and a high photoluminescent quantum yield(PLQY) have attracted great attention recently due to their potential applications in chemical,environmental,biological and photo-electronic fields.Solvent-dependent effect in photoluminescence provides a facial and effective approach to tune the emission of CDs.In this study,green emissive nitrogen-doped carbon dots(N-CDs) are synthesized from p-hydroquinone and ethylenediamine through a simple hydrothermal method.The as-prepared N-CDs possess a robust excitation-independent green luminescence and a high PLQY of up to 15.9%.Further spectroscopic characterization indicates that the high PLQY is achieved by the balance of nitrogen doping states and the surface passivation extent in CDs.The N-CDs also exhibit solvent-dependent multi-color emissive property and distinct PLQY in different solvents(the maximum can reach up to 25.3%).Furthermore,the as-prepared N-CDs are applied as fluorescence probes to detect acetone and H2O2 in water.This method has exhibited a low detection limit of acetone(less than 0.1 %) and a quick and linear response to the H_2O_2 with the concentration from 0 to 120 μmol/L.This work broadens the knowledge of applying CDs as probes in the bio and chemical sensing fields. | Shitong Cui Yanfen Wu Yao Liu Qingwen Guan Yida Zhang Yilin Zhang Song Luo Meng Xu Juncheng Wang | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,2: | 1 |

It is shown that the strength of perfect copper crystal enhances with increasing coherent TB density. Based on the local hydrostatic pressure analysis, we found that stress concentrations are more likely to form in the interior of the crystal rather than around the TBs.
