A high-performance biochar produced from bamboo pyrolysis with in-situ nitrogen doping and activation for adsorption of phenol and methylene blue显示文摘Nitrogen doping is a promising method for the preparation of functional carbon materials. In this study,a nitrogen-doped porous coral biochar was prepared by using bamboo as raw material, urea as nitrogen source, and KHCO3 as green activator through in-situ pyrolysis. The structure of the obtained biochar was characterized by various techniques including nitrogen adsorption and desorption,Raman spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectrometer, and etc.The adsorption properties of nitrogen-doped biochar were evaluated with phenol and methylene blue probes. The results showed that the nitrogen source ratio had a significant effect on the evolution of pore structure of biochar.Low urea addition ratio was beneficial to the development of pore structures. The optimum specific surface area of nitrogen-doped biochar could be up to 1693 m^2·g^-1.Nitrogen doping can effectively improve the adsorption capacity of biochar to phenol and methylene blue.Biochar prepared at 973.15 K with low urea addition ratio exhibited the highest adsorption capacity for phenol and methylene blue, and the equilibrium adsorption capacity was 169.0 mg·g^-1 and 499.3 mg·g^-1,respectively.By comparing the adsorption capacity of various adsorbents in related fields,it is proved that the nitrogen-doped biochar prepared in this study has a good adsorption effect. | Zhenhao Li Bo Xing Yan Ding Yunchao Li Shurong Wang | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,11: | 9
Vertical ozone profiles deduced from measurements of SBUS on FY-3 satellite显示文摘The FY-3 satellite is a second-generation Chinese polar-orbit meteorological satellite. The Solar Backscatter Ultraviolet Sounder (SBUS),one of the main payloads on the FY-3 satellite,is the first Chinese ozone-monitoring instrument on a meteorological satellite. As part of the in-orbit validation of FY-3,we carried out a retrieval trial using measurements from SBUS during the period of 17-30 July,2008,and compared those data with measurements and retrieved profiles from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) satellite SBUV/2.The results show that the precision of the measurements and retrieved profiles are quite good. The averaged relative difference percentages of the ozone profiles retrieved from SBUS and those from SBUV/2 are within ±7%. | HUANG FuXiang LIU NianQing ZHAO MingXian WANG ShuRong HUANG Yu | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,10: | 9
Activity after Site-Directed Mutagenesis of CD59 on Complement-Mediated Cytolysis显示文摘CD59 may inhibit the cytolytic activity of complement by binding to C8/C9 and protect host cell membranes against homologous membrane attack complex (MAC). However,CD59 is widely overexpressed on tumor cells, which has been implicated in tumorigenesis. The active site of CD59 relative to MAC is still confused. As reported the MAC binding site is located in the vicinity of a hydrophobic groove on the membrane distal face of the protein centered around residue W40. Here two site-directed mutagenesis were performed by overlapping extension PCR to delete residue W40 site (Mutant 1,M1) or to change C39W40K41 to W39W40W41 (Mutant 2,M2). Then we constructed mutant CD59 eukaryotic expression system and investigated their biological function on CHO cells compared with wild-type CD59. Stable populations of CHO cells expressing recombinant proteins were screened by immunotechnique. After 30 passages culturing, proteins could be tested. Dye release assays suggest that M1CD59 loses the activity against complement, while M2CD59 increases the anti-complement activity slightly. Results indicate that W40 of human CD59 is important to its activity, and prohibition of this site may be a potential way to increase complement activity and to treat tumors. | Xinhong Zhu Meihua Gao Shurong Ren Qiubo Wang Cunzhi Lin | 2008 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2008,5,2: | 8
A comparative study of CuO/TiO_2-SnO_2,CuO/TiO_2 and CuO/SnO_2 catalysts for low-temperature CO oxidation显示文摘Nanometer SnO2 particles were synthesized by sol-gel dialytic processes and used as a support to prepare CuO supported catalysts via a deposition-precipitation method. The samples were characterized by means of TG-DTA,XRD,H 2-TPR and XPS. The catalytic activity of the CuO/TiO2-SnO2 catalysts was markedly depended on the loading of CuO,and the optimum CuO loading was 8 wt.%(T 100 = 80 C) . The CuO/TiO2-SnO2 catalysts exhibited much higher catalytic activity than the CuO/TiO 2 and CuO/SnO 2 catalysts. H 2-TPR result indicated that a large amount of CuO formed the active site for CO oxidation in 8 wt.% CuO/TiO2-SnO2 catalyst. | Kairong Li Yaojie Wang Shurong Wang Baolin Zhu Shoumin Zhang Weiping Huang Shihua Wu | 2009 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2009,18,4: | 8
Development of image-based wheat spike counter through a Faster R-CNN algorithm and application for genetic studies显示文摘Spike number(SN) per unit area is one of the major determinants of grain yield in wheat. Development of high-throughput techniques to count SN from large populations enables rapid and cost-effective selection and facilitates genetic studies. In the present study, we used a deep-learning algorithm, i.e., Faster Region-based Convolutional Neural Networks(Faster R-CNN) on Red-Green-Blue(RGB) images to explore the possibility of image-based detection of SN and its application to identify the loci underlying SN. A doubled haploid population of 101 lines derived from the Yangmai 16/Zhongmai 895 cross was grown at two sites for SN phenotyping and genotyped using the high-density wheat 660 K SNP array.Analysis of manual spike number(MSN) in the field, image-based spike number(ISN), and verification of spike number(VSN) by Faster R-CNN revealed significant variation(P < 0.001) among genotypes, with high heritability ranged from 0.71 to 0.96. The coefficients of determination(R^(2)) between ISN and VSN was 0.83, which was higher than that between ISN and MSN(R^(2)= 0.51), and between VSN and MSN(R^(2)= 0.50). Results showed that VSN data can effectively predict wheat spikes with an average accuracy of 86.7% when validated using MSN data. Three QTL Qsnyz.caas-4 DS, Qsnyz.caas-7 DS, and QSnyz.caas-7 DL were identified based on MSN, ISN and VSN data, while QSnyz.caas-7 DS was detected in all the three data sets. These results indicate that using Faster R-CNN model for image-based identification of SN per unit area is a precise and rapid phenotyping method, which can be used for genetic studies of SN in wheat. | Lei Li Muhammad Adeel Hassan Shurong Yang Furong Jing Mengjiao Yang Awais Rasheed Jiankang Wang Xianchun Xia Zhonghu He Yonggui Xiao | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,5: | 5
TOWARDS AVOIDING THE HIDDEN TRAPS IN QFD DURING REQUIREMENTS ESTABLISHMENT显示文摘The Quality Function Deployment(QFD) is a useful and representative methodology to transform customer needs into different level of requirements in a system hierarchy.Simplifications that are based on assumptions are ubiquitous in the QFD,but these underlying assumptions possibly do not hold true, which renders the simplifications unjustified.Additionally, these assumptions are usually not verified within the context of the application domain. This paper identifies and illustrates eight hidden traps in QFD during the process of establishing the requirements, where the assumptions, and therefore, the simplifications made are not reasonable. These traps are implicit in the understanding of customer needs, establishment of system requirements and the flow down of these requirements to lower levels of the system hierarchy.Suggestions are given to help avoiding these hidden traps, thereby eliminating or alleviating their potentially detrimental effects. The intent of the paper is to make readers aware of these traps when applying QFD for the establishment of requirements,so that they may utilize QFD with a better understanding of its limitations and develop higher quality specifications. | Xinwei Zhang Shurong Tong Hakki Eres Keqin Wang Mario Kossmann | 2015 | Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2015,24,3: | 4
Is longer sevoflurane preconditioning neuroprotective in permanent focal cerebral ischemia?显示文摘Sevoflurane preconditioning has neuroprotective effects in the cerebral ischemia/reperfusion model. However, its influence on permanent cerebral ischemia remains unclear. In the present study, the rats were exposed to sevoflurane for 15, 30, 60, and 120 minutes, followed by induction of perma-nent cerebral ischemia. Results demonstrated that 30-and 60-minute sevoflurane preconditioning significantly reduced the infarct volume at 24 hours after cerebral ischemia, and 60-minute se-voflurane preconditioning additionally reduced the number of TUNEL-and caspase-3-positive cells in the ischemic penumbra. However, 120-minute sevoflurane preconditioning did not show evident neuroprotective effects. Moreover, 60-minute sevoflurane preconditioning significantly attenuated neurological deficits and infarct volume in rats at 4 days after cerebral ischemia. These findings in-dicated that 60-minute sevoflurane preconditioning can induce the best neuroprotective effects in rats with permanent cerebral ischemia through the inhibition of apoptosis. | Caiwei Qiu Bo Sheng Shurong Wang Jin Liu | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,23: | 4
Catalytic methanation of syngas over Ni-based catalysts with different supports显示文摘Co-precipitation method was selected for the preparation of Ni/Al_2O_3, Ni/ZrO_2 and Ni/CeO_2 catalysts, and their performances in methanation were investigated in this study. The structure and surface properties of these catalysts were characterized by BET, XRD, H_2-TPD, TEM and H_2-TPR. The results showed that the catalytic activity at low temperature followed the order: Ni/Al_2O_3>Ni/ZrO_2>Ni/CeO_2. Ni/Al_2O_3 catalyst presented the best catalytic performance with the highest CH_4 selectivity of 94.5%. The characterization results indicated that the dispersion of the active component Ni was the main factor affecting the catalytic activity and the one with higher dispersion gave better performance. | Yincong Liu Lingjun Zhu Xiaoliu Wang Shi Yin Furong Leng Fan Zhang Haizhou Lin Shurong Wang | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2017,25,5: | 3
Preparation and Characterization of High Infrared Emissivity Mn-doped NCO Spinel Composites显示文摘NiCr_2O_4(NCO)spinel composites with different Mn/Ni atomic ratios(Mn/Ni=0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20)were synthesized via solid state reaction method.Phase compositions and microstructure of samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The TG-DSC curves showed that the appropriate baking temperature for Mn-doped NCO spinel preparation was approximately 1 320℃.X-ray diffraction patterns exhibited the formation of NCO spinel with Fd-3m space group.Valence state of the Mn ions was determined from 2p and 3s X-ray photoelectron spectra.Manganese ions were mostly in divalent and trivalent states, and the ratio of Mn^(2+)/Mn^(3+)was 0.78-0.98.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)was used to analyze the spectral emissivity of Mn doped NCO spinel. It was revealed that the infrared emissivity of Mn-doped NCO spinel in 1.8-5μm could be significantly enhanced with increasing content of Mn^(2+),reaching as high as 0.9398.Mn-doped NCO spinel showed excellent radiation performance and good prospect in high emissivity applications in the temperature range of 800-1 200℃. | 邹隽 DONG Shurong GAO Junhua WANG Hongfu 程旭东 | 2017 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2017,32,6: | 3
Identification of novel QTL associated with soybean isoflavone content显示文摘Soybean isoflavones are essential secondary metabolites synthesized in the phenylpropanoid pathway and benefit human health. In the present study, highresolution QTL mapping for isoflavone components was performed using specific-locus amplified fragment sequencing(SLAF-seq) with a recombinant inbred line(RIL) population(F5:7) derived from a cross between two cultivated soybean varieties, Luheidou 2(LHD2) and Nanhuizao(NHZ). Using a high-density genetic map comprising 3541 SLAF markers and the isoflavone contents of soybean seeds in the 200 lines in four environments, 24 stable QTL were identified for isoflavone components, explaining 4.2%–21.2% of phenotypic variation.Of these QTL, four novel stable QTL(qG8, qMD19, qMG18, and qTIF19) were identified for genistin, malonyldaidzin, malonylgenistin, and total isoflavones, respectively. Gene annotation revealed three genes involved in isoflavone biosynthesis(Gm4CL, GmIFR, and GmCHR) and 13 MYB-like genes within genomic regions corresponding to stable QTL intervals, suggesting candidate genes underlying these loci. Nine epistatic QTL were identified for isoflavone components, explaining 4.7%–15.6% of phenotypic variation. These results will facilitate understanding the genetic basis of isoflavone accumulation in soybean seeds. The stable QTL and tightly linked SLAF markers may be used for markerassisted selection in soybean breeding programs. | Ruili Pei Jingying Zhang Ling Tian Shengrui Zhang Fenxia Han Shurong Yan Lianzheng Wang Bin Li Junming Sun | 2018 | The Crop Journal2018,6,3: | 3
Hydrothermal growth of hydroxyapatite and ZnO bilayered nanoarrays on magnesium alloy surface with antibacterial activities显示文摘Magnesium alloy(MgA)has been extensively used as orthopedic and cardiovascular scaffolds in virtue of its good biocompatibility, unique biodegradability and excellent mechanical properties. However, poor corrosion resistance and easy infection after implantation seriously limit the potential applications of MgA in the biomedical field.Herein,we fabricated bilayered nanoarrays of hydroxyapatite nanorods(HANRs)and ZnO nanorods(ZnONRs)onto the surface of MgA(MgA-MgO-HANRs-ZnONRs)via micro-arc oxidation(MAO)treatment,microwave-assisted hydrothermal and hydrothermal methods. The morphology and chemical composition of MgA-MgO-HANRs-ZnONRs was characterized by FE-SEM,XRD and EDS,indicating that HANRs-ZnONRs bilayered nanoarrays were fabricated on the surface of MgA-MgO.The surface of MgA-MgO-HANRs-ZnONRs exhibited excellent hydrophilicity as evidenced by the low water contact angle of 3°.Compared with the original MgA,the corrosion resistance of MgA-MgO-HANRs-ZnONRs was obviously improved with decreasing the corrosive current density(icorr)of 2 orders of magnitude. The MgA-MgO-HANRs-ZnONRs performed excellent antibacterial properties with the bactericidal rate of 96.5%against S.aureus and 94.3%against E.coli. | Mengke Peng Fenyan Hu Minting Du Bingjie Mai Shurong Zheng Peng Liu Changhao Wang Yashao Chen | 2020 | Frontiers of Materials Science2020,14,1: | 3
Small GTPases:Structure, biological function and its interaction with nanoparticles显示文摘Small GTPase is a kind of GTP-binding protein commonly found in eukaryotic cells. It plays an important role in cytoskeletal reorganization, cell polarity, cell cycle progression, gene expression and many other significant events in cells, such as the interaction with foreign particles. Therefore,it is of great scientific significance to understand the biological properties of small GTPases as well as the GTPase-nano interplay, since more and more nanomedicine are supposed to be used in biomedical field. However, there is no review in this aspect. This review summarizes the small GTPases in terms of the structure, biological function and its interaction with nanoparticles. We briefly introduced the various nanoparticles such as gold/silver nanoparticles,SWCNT,polymeric micelles and other nano delivery systems that interacted with different GTPases. These current nanoparticles exhibited different pharmacological effect modes and various target design concepts in the small GTPases study. This will help to elucidate the conclusion that the therapeutic strategy targeting small GTPases might be a new research direction. It is believed that the in-depth study on the functional mechanism of GTPases can provide insights for the design and study of nanomedicines. | Siyang Song Wenshu Cong Shurong Zhou Yujie Shi Wenbing Dai Hua Zhang Xueqing Wang Bing He Qiang Zhang | 2019 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2019,14,1: | 3
Gut microbiota mediates the absorption of FLZ,a new drug for Parkinson’s disease treatment显示文摘The gut microbiota plays an important role in regulating the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of many drugs.FLZ,a novel squamosamide derivative, has been shown to have neuroprotective effects on experimental Parkinson’s disease(PD)models.FLZ is under phase I clinical trial now, while the underlying mechanisms contributing to the absorption of FLZ are still not fully elucidated.Due to the main metabolite of FLZ was abundant in feces but rare in urine and bile of mice,we focused on the gut microbiota to address how FLZ was metabolized and absorbed. In vitro studies revealed that FLZ could be exclusively metabolized to its major metabolite M1 by the lanosterol 14 alpha-demethylase(CYP51)in the gut microbiota, but was almost not metabolized by any other metabolism-related organs, such as liver, kidney, and small intestine.M1 was quickly absorbed into the blood and then remethylated to FLZ by catechol O-methyltransferase(COMT).Notably,dysbacteriosis reduced the therapeutic efficacy of FLZ on the PD mouse model by inhibiting its absorption. The results show that the gut microbiota mediate the absorption of FLZ through a FLZ-M1-FLZ circulation. Our research elucidates the vital role of the gut microbiota in the absorption of FLZ and provides a theoretical basis for clinical pharmacokinetic studies and clinical application of FLZ in the treatment of PD. | Junmei Shang Shurong Ma Caixia Zang Xiuqi Bao Yan Wang Dan Zhang | 2021 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,5: | 3
Preparation of Nano-Sized γ-Al_2O_3 Supported Iron Catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis by Solvated Metal Atom Impregnation Methods显示文摘Two types of small iron clusters supported onγ-Al2O3-RT(dehydroxylated at room temperature) andγ-Al2O3-800 (dehydroxylated at 800℃) were prepared by solvated metal atom impregnation (SMAI) techniques. The iron atom precursor complex, bis(toluene)iron(0) formed in the metal atom reactor, was impregnated intoγ-Al2O3 having different concentrations of surface hydroxyl groups to study the effect of surface hydroxylation on the crucial stage of iron cluster formation. Catalysts prepared in this way were characterized by TEM, Mossbauer, and chemisorption measurements, and the results show that higher concentration of surface hydroxyl groups ofγ-Al2O3-RT favors the formation of more positively charged supported iron cluster Fen/γ-Al2O3-RT, and the lower concentration of surface hydroxyl groups ofγ-Al2O3-800 favors the formation of basically neutral supported iron cluster Fen/γ-Al2O3-800. The measured results also indicate that the higher concentration of surface hydroxyl groups causes the rapid decomposition of precursor complex, bis(toluene)iron(0), and favors the formation of relatively large iron cluster. Consequently, these two types of catalysts show different catalytic properties in Fischer-Tropsch reaction. The catalytic pattern of Fen/γ-Al2O3-RT in F-T reaction is similar to that of the unreducedα-Fe2O3 and that of Fen/γ-Al2O3-800 is similar to that of the reducedα-Fe2O3. | Lihua Yu Xiaoxiang Zhang Zongjie Du Da Wang Shurong Wang Shihua Wu | 2007 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2007,16,1: | 2
Preparation of polythiophene/WO_3 organic-inorganic hybrids and their gas sensing properties for NO_2 detection at low temperature显示文摘Polythiophene/WO3(PTP/WO3)organic-inorganic hybrids were synthesized by an in situ chemical oxidative polymerization method, and char- acterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and thermo-gravimetric analysis(TGA).The Polythiophene/ WO3 hybrids have higher thermal stability than pure polythiophene, which is beneficial to potential application as chemical sensors.Gas sensing measurements demonstrate that the gas sensor based on the Polythiophene/WO3 hybrids has high response and good selectivity for de- tecting NO2 of ppm level at low temperature. Both the operating temperature and PTP contents have an influence on the response of PTP/WO3 hybrids to NO2.The 10 wt%PTP/WO3 hybrid showed the highest response at low operating temperature of 70-C.It is expected that the PTP/WO3 hybrids can be potentially used as gas sensor material for detecting the low concentration of NO2 at low temperature. | Jing Huan~ Yanfei Kang Taili Yang Yao Wang Shurong Wang | 2011 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2011,20,4: | 2
SIMULATION OF THE IN-PILE BEHAVIORS EVOLUTION IN NUCLEAR FUEL RODS WITH THE IRRADIATION DAMAGE EFFECTS显示文摘Based on the commercial computational software, a three-dimensional finite element model to simulate the thermo-mechanical behaviors in a nuclear fuel rod is established; By taking into consideration irradiation-swelling of the pellet and the irradiation damage effects in the cladding together with the coupling effects between the temperature field and the mechanical field, the user subroutines to define the special material performance and boundary conditions have been developed independently and validated. Three-dimensional numerical simulation of the thermo-mechanical coupling behaviors in a nuclear fuel rod is carried out, and the evolution rules of the important thermal and mechanical variables are obtained and analyzed. The research results indicate that:(1) the fuel pellets will be in contact with the cladding at high burnup, which will induce a strong mechanical interaction between them;(2) the irradiation creep effect plays an important role in the mechanical behavior evolution in the nuclear fuel rod. | Xin Gong Yijie Jiang Shurong Ding Yongzhong Huo Canglong Wang Lei Yang | 2014 | Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2014,27,6: | 2

Chemometrics-assisted excitation-emission fluorescence spectroscopy for simultaneous determination of ethoxyquin and tert-butylhydroquinone in biological fluid samples显示文摘A novel method applying simple, rapid, effective and inexpensive excitation-emission matrix (EEM) fluorescence spectroscopy coupled with second-order calibration method for simultaneous determination of ethoxyquin (EQ) and tert-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) contents in biological fluid samples was developed. After a simple data preprocessing that was to insert zeros below the first-order Rayleigh scattering, the second-order calibration method based on the alternating normalization-weighed error (ANWE) algorithm was used to deal with EEM data. Via the introduced 'second-order advantage', the individual con- centrations of the analytes of interest could be obtained even in the presence of uncalibrated interferences. The experimental concentration ranges for the analytes were as follows: EQ, from 4.58 to 20.6 g mL 1 in plasma and from 6.87 to 20.6 g mL 1 in urine; TBHQ, from 4.49 to 20.2 g mL-1 in plasma and from 6.73 to 22.4 g mL-1 in urine. The recoveries from spiked biological fluid samples were in the ranges of 92.8%-106.2% for EQ and 94.6%-107.2% for TBHQ. These results demonstrate that the three-dimensional EEM fluorescence with second-order calibration method is a powerful tool for obtaining both EQ and TBHQ quantitative results in plasma and urine samples, and could be applied to more complex matrices. | CHEN Yao WU HaiLong WANG JianYao ZHANG XiaoHua LI Yong ZHANG ShuRong YU Ru-Qin | 2013 | Science China Chemistry2013,56,5: | 2
