Laser-Assisted Reduction of Highly Conductive Circuits Based on Copper Nitrate for Flexible Printed Sensors显示文摘Stretchable electronic sensing devices are defining the path toward wearable electronics. High-performance flexible strain sensors attached on clothing or human skin are required for potential applications in the entertainment, health monitoring, and medical care sectors. In this work, conducting copper electrodes were fabricated onpolydimethylsiloxane as sensitive stretchable microsensors by integrating laser direct writing and transfer printing approaches. The copper electrode was reduced from copper salt using laser writing rather than the general approach of printing with pre-synthesized copper or copper oxide nanoparticles. An electrical resistivity of 96 l X cm was achieved on 40-lm-thick Cu electrodes on flexible substrates. The motion sensing functionality successfully demonstrated a high sensitivity and mechanical robustness. This in situ fabrication method leads to a path toward electronic devices on flexible substrates.Shi Bai Shigang Zhang Weiping Zhou Delong Ma Ying Ma Pooran Joshi Anming Hu 2017Nano-Micro Letters2017,9,4:10
CMTM4 inhibits cell proliferation and migration via AKT, ERK1/2,and STAT3 pathway in colorectal cancer显示文摘CMTM4(CKLF-like MARVEL transmembrane domain containing 4),a potential tumor suppressor gene,is involved in several types of malignancies. It has been reported to be downregulated and exhibit anti-tumorigenic activities by regulating cell growth and cell cycle in clear cell renal cell carcinoma. It has also been identified as a tumor suppressor in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and its negative expression is a risk factor for poor prognosis of HCC patients. In the present study,an integrated bioinformatics analysis based on The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database showed that CMTM4 was frequently reduced in colorectal cancer(CRC)and high expression of CMTM4 was associated with increased overall survival rates.Based on these findings,we adopted gain-of-function and lost-of-function strategies using SW480 and HT29 CRC cell lines which have relatively low and high endogenous CMTM4 levels, respectively. We observed impeded cell proliferation and migration upon overexpression of CMTM4 in SW480 cells, and the opposite effects were observed upon knockdown of CMTM4 in HT-29 cells.Cell signaling pathways essential for CRC progression were then examined, and the phosphorylation levels of AKT,ERK1/2,and STAT3 were found to be decreased by CMTM4 overexpression in SW480 cells and elevated by CMTM4 silencing in HT29 cells.Their inhibitors were used to validate that the three signaling pathways contributed to the inhibitory effects of CMTM4 on CRC cells.Taken together, our results suggest that CMTM4 plays a tumor suppressive role in CRC.Hui Xue Ting Li Pingzhang Wang Xiaoning Mo Hejun Zhang Shigang Ding Dalong Ma Wenping Lv Jing Zhang Wenling Han 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,9:5
C1orf106, an innate immunity activator, is amplified in breast cancer and is required for basal-like/luminal progenitor fate decision显示文摘Basal-like breast cancer with a luminal progenitor gene expression profile is an aggressive subtype of breast cancer with a poorer prognosis compared with other subtypes. However, genes that specifically promote basal-like breast cancer development remain largely unknown. Here,we report that a novel gene C1orf106 plays an important role in maintaining the feature of basal-like/luminal progenitors.C1orf106 is frequently amplified and overexpressed in basal-like breast cancer and is associated with a poor outcome in patients. In human TCGA database,C1orf106 expression was correlated with upregulation of ELF5 and downregulation of GATA3,two transcription factors that regulate mammary gland stem cell fate.Enhanced expression of C1orf106 promotes tumor progression and expression of basal-like/luminal progenitor marker ELF5;depletion of C1orf106 suppresses tumorigenesis and expression of basal-like/luminal progenitor marker GATA3.These findings suggest that C1orf106 maintains the basal-like/luminal progenitor character through balancing the expression of ELF5 and GATA3.Taken together,we demonstrated that C1orf106 is an important regulator for basal-like/luminal progenitors and targeting C1orf106 is of therapeutic value for breast cancer.Ji Ma Cheng Liu Decao Yang Jiagui Song Jing Zhang Tianzhuo Wang Mengyuan Wang Weizhi Xu Xueying Li Shigang Ding Jun Zhan Hongquan Zhang 2019Science China(Life Sciences)2019,62,9:2

Research on Hot Gunning Repairing in Laboratory显示文摘The lining of blast furnace may be damaged partly,so that gunning repair is needed. The bonding strength of boundary surface between the repairing layer and remained lining of blast furnace has been studied by thermal simulation. The factors influencing the bonding strength are the ingredient gunning repair temperature, remained lining condition and water content of gunning refractory. The bonding strength decreases with the increases of remained lining temperature.CAO Feng, LONG Shigang, MENG Qingmin, SUN Jialin and HONG Yanruo(1 Institute of Metallurgy and Materials, Anhui University of Technology, Ma’ anshan, China) (2 Institute of Metallurgy, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing 100083, China) 2003China's Refractories2003,12,1:1
Polygenic risk score for prediction of radiotherapy efficacy and radiosensitivity in patients with non-metastatic breast cancer显示文摘Objective:To construct a novel polygenic risk scoring model,in order to predict the benefits of radiosensitivity in patients with non-metastatic breast cancer(NMBC).Methods:A total of 450 NMBC patients from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)were enrolled and randomly assigned 6:4(training vs.validation).The empirical Bayes differential analysis was used to perform differential expression analysis, univariate Cox regression and Kaplan-Meier analysis were used to screen for prognosisrelated genes. Finally,LASSO regression and stepwise regression were used to select key prognostic-related genes. We constructed a multivariate Cox proportional risk regression model using key genes. The pRRophetic function was used to predict drug sensitivity of radiosensitivity(RS)and radioresistance(RR)groups for adjuvant therapy. Results:Eight genes(AMH,H2BU1,HOXB13,TMEM132A,TMEM270,ODF3L1,RIIAD1 and RIMBP2)were screened to build a polygenic risk scoring model. The region of characteristic(ROC)curves were drawn based on the 3-,5-and 10-year overall survival(OS),with area under curves(AUCs)of 0.816,0.822 and 0.806,respectively.RS and RR can be effectively distinguished according to the risk score of 2.004.Gene set enrichment analysis(GSEA)showed that necroptosis was significantly enriched in RS,while complement and coagulation cascade,JAK-STAT and PPAR signaling pathways were significantly enriched in RR.Alternatively, for those radioresistant patients, the chemotherapy drugs that might be more helpful are Cisplatin,Docetaxel,Methotrexate and Vinblastine with higher drug sensitivity. Conclusion:The polygenic risk scoring model showed prediction for the benefit of radiotherapy in NMBC patients, which might be used to guide clinical practice.Huajian Chen Li Huang Xinlong Wan Shigang Ren Haibin Chen Shumei Ma Xiaodong Liu 2023Radiation Medicine and Protection2023,4,1:0
Ribosomal protein S26 serves as a checkpoint of T-cell survival and homeostasis in a p53-dependent manner显示文摘Ribosomal proteins(RPs),which play critical roles in ribosome assembly and protein translation, have been proven to be associated with important physiological and pathological processes, including the regulation of T-cell development and immune-related diseases.1,2,3 A recent study reported that ribosomal protein S26(Rps26),which is a Diamond–Blackfan anemia-associated RP located in the 40S subunit that controls oocyte growth,4,5 may influence multiple different immune phenotypes.6 Moreover,a SNP in the 5′UTR of the Rps26 gene in CD4^(+)and CD8+T cells was implicated in several autoimmune diseases.7 However, the function of Rps26 in T lymphocytes remains unknown. Here,we found that Rps26 was highly expressed in T lymphocytes. We examined a T-cell-specific Rps26 knockout mouse model and reported for the first time that ablation of Rps26 in T cells not only impairs peripheral T-cell homeostasis but also leads to T-cell developmental arrest in the thymus.Mechanistically,Rps26 critically regulates T-cell survival in a p53-dependent manner. These findings reveal the indispensable role of the Rps26-p53 axis in T-cell development and homeostasis.Chaojia Chen Jiali Peng Shuaiya Ma Yuming Ding Tao Huang Shigang Zhao Lifen Gao Xiaohong Liang Chunyang Li Chunhong Ma 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,7:0
Monitoring of steam chamber in steam-assisted gravity drainage based on the temperature sensitivity of oil sand显示文摘Thermosensitivity experiments and simulation calculations were conducted on typical oil sand core samples from Kinosis,Canada to predict the steam chamber development with time-lapse seismic data during the steam-assisted gravity drain-age(SAGD).Using an ultrasonic base made of polyether ether ketone resin instead of titanium alloy can improve the signal en-ergy and signal-to-noise ratio and get clear first arrival;with the rise of temperature, heavy oil changes from glass state(at-34.4℃),to quasi-solid state, and to liquid state(at 49.0℃)gradually;the quasi-solid heavy oil has significant frequency dis-persion.For the sand sample with high oil saturation, its elastic property depends mainly on the nature of the heavy oil, while for the sand sample with low oil saturation, the elastic property depends on the stiffness of the rock matrix. The elastic property of the oil sand is sensitive to temperature noticeably, when the temperature increases from 10℃ to 175℃,the oil sand samples decrease in compressional and shear wave velocities significantly.Based on the experimental data, the quantita-tive relationship between the compressional wave impedance of the oil sand and temperature was worked out,and the tem-perature variation of the steam chamber in the study area was predicted by time-lapse seismic inversion.GAO Yunfeng FAN Ting’en GAO Jinghuai LI Hui DONG Hongchao MA Shigang YUE Qingfeng 2021Petroleum Exploration and Development2021,48,6:0
Epigenetic regulation of SARS-Cov-2 spike protein modulates cellular viability and nascent RNA transcription in neuronal cells显示文摘SARS-CoV-2 has been demonstrated to be highly susceptible to neuron-and glial-like cells,1 but there is no consensus regarding how the virus affects neurons following neuroinvasion. It is therefore unknown if and how SARS-CoV-2 maintains the homeostasis of neuronal cells.Herein,we revealed that the receptor-binding domain(RBD)of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein acted as an extracellular remodeling component to undermine epigenetic regulation, perturbnascentRNA(nsRNA)transcription, promote mitochondrial biogenesis, and increase cellular viability in SH-SY5Y cells.Xi Kong Peng Lu Jinyue Zhang Zheng Bao Chenghao Kuang Bingqing Xie Jianhua Peng Ning Ma Yong Jiang Shigang Yin 2024Genes & Diseases2024,11,2:0
