Ore-forming event and geodynamic setting of molybdenum deposit at Wenquan in Gansu Province,Western Qinling显示文摘The Wenquan molybdenum deposit is associated with a Triassic granite in this area. The Wenquan granite is enriched in LILE and LREE,poor in HFSE,and has significantly higher contents of alkali(K2O+Na2O) and Sr,Ba than those of the island arc volcanic rocks. These geochemical characteristics are similar to post-collisional granites in high K calc-alkaline series.Studies of major elements, trace elements,REEs and chronology of the Wenquan pluton show that,in the geodynamic transition stage of continent-continent convergence to extension, the partial melting of the enriched lithospheric mantle generated the basaltic magma and triggered the partial melting of the thickened lower crust which produceded the acidic magma, and the Wenquan pluton was formed by mixing of the two magmas.Molybdenite Re-Os isotopic dating gave Os model ages of 212.7±2.6 Ma to 215.1±2.6 Ma with a weighted mean of 214.1±1.1 Ma,and an Re-Os isochron age of 214.4±7.1 Ma.These ages are close to K-Ar ages(223 to 226 Ma) and a SHRIMP zircon U-Pb age(223±7 Ma) for the Wenquan granite within the error range, but relatively younger. This implies that the Mo mineralization occurred in a late stage of the magmatic intrusion, and the metallogenesis took place in the transition stage from syn-collision to post-collision in the tectonic setting of the Qinling Orogenic Belt(QOB) after continental collision be-tween the North China Block(NCB) and the South China Block(SCB).This process is also corre-sponding to the geological events of metamorphism and deformation in South Qinling, closure of the Mian-Lue oceanic basin, and exhumation of the Dabie-Sulu ultrahigh-pressure metamorphic rocks. The large-scale continent-continent collision between NCB and SCB in the middle Triassic triggered sig-nificant crustal thickening and exhumation of subducted slab.In the late Triassic, the tectonic setting was transformed to the transition stage from collision to extension.Materials from the asthenospheric mantle would ascend into the root of the lower crust, which could induce partial melting of the lower crust and generate Mo-enriched granitic magma. The ore-forming elements enriched in the fluid derived from the condensation and fraction of the magma resulted in the Mo mineralization. The Mo deposits in the QOB are mainly formed in two episodes, namely 220± Ma and 140± Ma.The two episodes of metal-logenesis were developed in the tectonic transition settings from compression to extension, but they were in the different stages of the tectonic evolution. The occurrence of the Wenquan Mo-bearing plu-ton indicates that the Triassic tectonic-magmatic belt of Western Qinling is another favorable region for Mo mineralization in the QOB.Therefore,it is significant to pay more attention to evaluation of the ore-forming potentiality in the Triassic granites in Western Qinling.ZHU LaiMin DING ZhenJu YAO ShuZhen ZHANG GuoWei SONG ShiGang QU WenJun GUO Bo LEE Ben 2009Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,13:12
CMTM4 inhibits cell proliferation and migration via AKT, ERK1/2,and STAT3 pathway in colorectal cancer显示文摘CMTM4(CKLF-like MARVEL transmembrane domain containing 4),a potential tumor suppressor gene,is involved in several types of malignancies. It has been reported to be downregulated and exhibit anti-tumorigenic activities by regulating cell growth and cell cycle in clear cell renal cell carcinoma. It has also been identified as a tumor suppressor in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and its negative expression is a risk factor for poor prognosis of HCC patients. In the present study,an integrated bioinformatics analysis based on The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database showed that CMTM4 was frequently reduced in colorectal cancer(CRC)and high expression of CMTM4 was associated with increased overall survival rates.Based on these findings,we adopted gain-of-function and lost-of-function strategies using SW480 and HT29 CRC cell lines which have relatively low and high endogenous CMTM4 levels, respectively. We observed impeded cell proliferation and migration upon overexpression of CMTM4 in SW480 cells, and the opposite effects were observed upon knockdown of CMTM4 in HT-29 cells.Cell signaling pathways essential for CRC progression were then examined, and the phosphorylation levels of AKT,ERK1/2,and STAT3 were found to be decreased by CMTM4 overexpression in SW480 cells and elevated by CMTM4 silencing in HT29 cells.Their inhibitors were used to validate that the three signaling pathways contributed to the inhibitory effects of CMTM4 on CRC cells.Taken together, our results suggest that CMTM4 plays a tumor suppressive role in CRC.Hui Xue Ting Li Pingzhang Wang Xiaoning Mo Hejun Zhang Shigang Ding Dalong Ma Wenping Lv Jing Zhang Wenling Han 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,9:5
Abnormal infrared effects of nanometer scale thin film material of PtPd alloy in CO adsorption显示文摘Nanometer scale thin film material of PtPd alloy supported on glassy carbon (nm-PtPd/GC) was prepared by the electrochemical codeposition method under cyclic voltammetric conditions. STM patterns demonstrated that the prepared thin films are composed of layered crystallites in elliptic form. Electrochemical in situ FTIRS studies explored the abnormal infrared effects (AIREs) of nm-PtPd/GC for CO adsorption, which are (i) the remarkable enhancement of IR absorption, (ii) the inversion of COad band direction, and (iii) notable increase in the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of COad bands. The results demonstrated also that the enhancement factor of IR absorption varies with the thickness of PtPd alloy film and has reached a maximum value of 38.3 under the experimental conditions.Zhi Chen Shigang Sun Nan Ding Zhiyou Zhou 2001Chinese Science Bulletin2001,46,17:4
C1orf106, an innate immunity activator, is amplified in breast cancer and is required for basal-like/luminal progenitor fate decision显示文摘Basal-like breast cancer with a luminal progenitor gene expression profile is an aggressive subtype of breast cancer with a poorer prognosis compared with other subtypes. However, genes that specifically promote basal-like breast cancer development remain largely unknown. Here,we report that a novel gene C1orf106 plays an important role in maintaining the feature of basal-like/luminal progenitors.C1orf106 is frequently amplified and overexpressed in basal-like breast cancer and is associated with a poor outcome in patients. In human TCGA database,C1orf106 expression was correlated with upregulation of ELF5 and downregulation of GATA3,two transcription factors that regulate mammary gland stem cell fate.Enhanced expression of C1orf106 promotes tumor progression and expression of basal-like/luminal progenitor marker ELF5;depletion of C1orf106 suppresses tumorigenesis and expression of basal-like/luminal progenitor marker GATA3.These findings suggest that C1orf106 maintains the basal-like/luminal progenitor character through balancing the expression of ELF5 and GATA3.Taken together,we demonstrated that C1orf106 is an important regulator for basal-like/luminal progenitors and targeting C1orf106 is of therapeutic value for breast cancer.Ji Ma Cheng Liu Decao Yang Jiagui Song Jing Zhang Tianzhuo Wang Mengyuan Wang Weizhi Xu Xueying Li Shigang Ding Jun Zhan Hongquan Zhang 2019Science China(Life Sciences)2019,62,9:2
G protein-coupled receptor LGR6 is an independent risk factor for colon adenocarcinoma显示文摘LGR6 is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family that plays a tumor-suppressive role in colon cancer. However, the relationship between LGR6 expression in patients and clinicopathological factors remains unclear. This study aimed to clarify whether the expression level of LGR6 is correlated with colon adenocarcinoma progression. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect LGR6 expression in colon adenoma tissues (n = 21), colon adenocarcinoma tissues (n = 156), and adjacent normal tissues (n = 124). The expression levels of LGR6 in colon adenoma and adenocarcinoma were significantly higher than those in normal colon epithelial tissues (P < 0.001). Low LGR6 expression predicted a short overall survival in patients with colon adenocarcinoma (log-rank test, P = 0.016). Univariate and multivariate survival analyses showed that, in addition to N and M classification, LGR6 expression served as an independent prognostic factor. Thus, low expression of LGR6 can be used as an independent prognostic parameter in patients with colon adenocarcinoma.Wenjing Wang Shigang Ding Hejun Zhang Jun Li Jun Zhan Hongquan Zhang 2019Frontiers of Medicine2019,13,4:2

Ribosomal protein S26 serves as a checkpoint of T-cell survival and homeostasis in a p53-dependent manner显示文摘Ribosomal proteins(RPs),which play critical roles in ribosome assembly and protein translation, have been proven to be associated with important physiological and pathological processes, including the regulation of T-cell development and immune-related diseases.1,2,3 A recent study reported that ribosomal protein S26(Rps26),which is a Diamond–Blackfan anemia-associated RP located in the 40S subunit that controls oocyte growth,4,5 may influence multiple different immune phenotypes.6 Moreover,a SNP in the 5′UTR of the Rps26 gene in CD4^(+)and CD8+T cells was implicated in several autoimmune diseases.7 However, the function of Rps26 in T lymphocytes remains unknown. Here,we found that Rps26 was highly expressed in T lymphocytes. We examined a T-cell-specific Rps26 knockout mouse model and reported for the first time that ablation of Rps26 in T cells not only impairs peripheral T-cell homeostasis but also leads to T-cell developmental arrest in the thymus.Mechanistically,Rps26 critically regulates T-cell survival in a p53-dependent manner. These findings reveal the indispensable role of the Rps26-p53 axis in T-cell development and homeostasis.Chaojia Chen Jiali Peng Shuaiya Ma Yuming Ding Tao Huang Shigang Zhao Lifen Gao Xiaohong Liang Chunyang Li Chunhong Ma 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,7:0
