1Environment-Stable CoxNiy Encapsulation in Stacked Porous Carbon Nanosheets for Enhanced Microwave Absorption显示文摘Magnetic/dielectric@porous carbon composites,derived from metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)with adjustable composition ratio,have attracted wide attention due to their unique magnetoelectric properties.In addition,MOFs-derived porous carbon-based materials can meet the needs of lightweight feature.This paper reports a simple process for synthesizing stacked CoxNiy@C nanosheets derived from CoxNiy-MOFs nanosheets with multiple interfaces,which is good to the microwave response.The CoxNiy@C with controllable composition can be obtained by adjusting the ratio of Co^2+ and Ni^2+.It is supposed that the increased Co content is benefit to the dielectric and magnetic loss.Additionally,the bandwidth of CoNi@C nanosheets can take up almost the whole Ku band.Moreover,this composite has better environmental stability in air,which characteristic provides a sustainable potential for the practical application.Xiaohui Liang Zengming Man Bin Quan Jing Zheng Weihua Gu Zhu Zhang Guangbin Ji 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,8:11
2Rizatriptan benzoate influences the endogenous pain modulatory system in a rat model of migraine显示文摘The present study utilized a nitroglycerin-induced rat model of migraine to detect the effects of rizatriptan benzoate on proenkephalin and substance P gene expression in the midbrain using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction and investigate whether rizatriptan benzoate can regulate the endogenous pain modulatory system. The results showed that rizatriptan benzoate significantly reduced expression of the mRNAs for proenkephalin and substance P. 3Management of CO_(2) in a tomato greenhouse using WSN and BPNN techniques显示文摘Rational management of CO_(2) can improve the net photosynthetic rate of plants,thereby improving crop yield and quality.In order to precisely manage CO_(2) in a greenhouse,a wireless sensor network(WSN)system was developed to monitor greenhouse environmental parameters in real time,including air temperature,humidity,CO_(2) concentration,soil temperature,soil moisture,and light intensity.The WSN system includes several sensor nodes,a gateway node,and remote management software.The sensor nodes can collect 0-5 V and 4-20 mA analog signals and universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter(UART)data.The gateway node can process and transmit the data and commands between sensor nodes and remote management software.The remote management software provides a friendly interface between user and machine.Users can inquire about real-time data,and set the parameters of the WSN.The photosynthetic rate of tomato plants were studied in the flowering stage.A LI-6400XT portable photosynthesis analyzer was used to measure the photosynthetic rates of the tomato plants,and the environmental parameters of leaves were controlled according to the presetting rule.The photosynthetic rate prediction model of a single leaf was established based on a back propagation neural network(BPNN).The environmental parameters were used as input neurons after being processed by principal component analysis(PCA),and the photosynthetic rate was taken as the output neuron.The performance of the prediction model was evaluated,and the results showed that the correlation coefficient between the simulated and observed data sets was 0.9899,and root-mean-square error(RMSE)was 1.4686.Furthermore,when different CO_(2) concentrations were selected as the input to predict the photosynthetic rate,the simulated and observed data showed the same trend.According to the above analysis,it was concluded that the model can be used for quantitative regulation of CO_(2) for tomato plants in greenhouses.Li Ting Zhang Man Ji Yuhan Sha Sha Jiang Yiqiong Li Minzan 2015International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,4:6

5An improved method for prediction of tomato photosynthetic rate based on WSN in greenhouse显示文摘In order to improve the efficiency of CO2 fertilizer and promote high quality and yield,it is necessary to precisely control CO2 fertilizer by wireless sensor network based on a model of photosynthetic rate prediction in greenhouse.An experiment was carried out on tomato plants in greenhouse for photosynthetic rate prediction modeling combined rough set and BP neural network.In data acquiring phase,plants growth information and greenhouse environmental information that may have influences on photosynthetic rate,including plant height,stem diameter,the number of leaves and chlorophyll content of functional leaves,air temperature,air humidity,light intensity,CO2 concentration and soil moisture,which were measured.And LI-6400XT photosynthetic rate instrument was used for obtaining net photosynthetic rate of functional leaf.After preliminary processing,135 sets of data were obtained.And twelve of them were used for model test of neural network,while the others were used for modeling.All of the data were normalized before modeling.Two models were built to predict photosynthetic rate based on BP neural network.One had total nine input parameters.The other had six input parameters,chlorophyll content,air temperature,air humidity,light intensity,CO2 concentration,and soil moisture,which were reducted from original nine based on attributes reduction theory of rough set.Both two models have one output parameter,the net photosynthetic rate of single leaf.The genetic algorithm was adopted to reduct attributes.Since continuous data cannot be processed by rough set,the K-mean cluster method was used to discretize the data of nine input parameters before attributes reduction.The prediction results of two models showed that the model with six input parameters had a mean absolute error of 0.6958,an average relative error of 7.28%,a root-mean-square error of 0.7428,and a correlation coefficient of 0.9964,while the other model respectively had 0.4026,4.53%,0.3245 and 0.9965,which proved that the model with minimum attributes had higher prediction accuracy.On the other hand,the number of iterations was used to represent the neural network train speed.The result showed that the model with six input parameters had an iteration of 544,while the other had 1038.Hence,the reduction model was applied to controlling CO2 concentration.The net photosynthetic rates at different CO2 concentrations were predicted at a certain condition.The results had the same curve trend with theory analysis,and a high prediction accuracy,which proved that the model was useful for CO2 concentration control.Ji Yuhan Jiang Yiqiong Li Ting Zhang Man Sha Sha Li Minzan 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,1:6
6Current status and challenges in sentinel node navigation surgery for early gastric cancer显示文摘Although a number of feasibility studies for sentinel node(SN) concepts in gastric cancer have been conducted since 2000, there remains a debate regarding detailed detection techniques and oncological safety. Two important multicenter phase II clinical trials were performed in Japan that used different methods and reached different conclusions; one confirmed acceptable results with a false-negative rate of 7%, and the other showed an unacceptably high false-negative rate of 46.4%. The Sentinel Node Oriented Tailored Approach(SENORITA)trial is a multicenter randomized controlled phase III trial being performed in Korea. Patient enrollment is now complete and the long-term results are currently awaited. Recently, an image-guided SN mapping technique using infrared ray/fluorescence was introduced. This method might be a promising technology because it allows the clear visualization of SNs. With regard to the primary tumor, the non-exposed endoscopic wall-inversion surgery technique and non-exposure endolaparoscopic full-thickness resection with simple suturing technique have been reported. These methods prevent abdominal infection and tumor seeding and can be good alternatives to conventional laparoscopic gastric wedge resection. For indications, SN navigation surgery can be extended to patients who underwent non-curative endoscopic resection. Although a few studies have been performed on these patients, sentinel concepts may be beneficial to patients as they omit the need for additional gastrectomy. 7Experimental and Modeling Study of the Regular Polygon Angle-spiral Liner in Ball Mills显示文摘Load behavior is one of the most critical factors affecting mills' energy consumption and grinding efficiency,and is greatly affected by the liner profiles. Generally, as liner profiles vary, the ball mill performances are extremely different. In order to study the performance of the ball mill with regular polygon angle-spiral liners(RPASLs), experimental and numerical studies on three types of RPASLs, including regular quadrilateral, pentagonal and hexagonal, are carried out. For the fine product of desired size, two critical parameters are analyzed: the energy input to the mill per unit mass of the fine product, E*, and the rate of production of the fine product, F*. Results show that the optimal structure of RPASLs is Quadrilateral ASL with an assembled angle of 50°. Under this condition, the specific energy consumption E* has the minimum value of 303 J per fine product and the production rate F* has the maximum value of 0.323. The production rate F* in the experimental result is consistent with the specific collision energy intensity to total collision energy intensity ratio E_s/E_t in the simulation. The relations between the production rate F* and the specific energy consumption E* with collision energy intensity E_s and E_t are obtained. 8Evolution of dielectric loss-dominated electromagnetic patterns in magnetic absorbers for enhanced microwave absorption performances显示文摘As the growing criterion of electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorption materials, micro/nano-scale magnetic materials are drawing more and more attention for their unique features compared to bulky absorbers. Generally, the complex permeability of micro/nano-scale magnetic absorbers varies in a relatively narrow range, whatever for the storage of magnetic energy or the dissipation of magnetic energy. If so, how the small variation of permeability affects the ultimate performances is still unclear. Here, a strategy of electromagnetic parameters regulation for the magnetic materials is applied to understand the loss contribution in micro/nanoscale magnetic absorbers. After analyzing the evolution of electromagnetic maps of ten ferrosoferric oxide samples, it can be found that the dissipation contribution of permeability for magnetic materials is weaker than that of permittivity, in spite of its significant role in determining the impedance matching characteristics. 9Preparation of AZ91D Slurries for Semi-Solid Forming Using Al8 ( Mn, Fe) 5 Precipitates显示文摘During the solidification of the AZ91D-alloys, the Al8(Mn, Fe)5 phase is generally precipitated in the melt in advance of the precipitation of the primary α-Mg. The basic principle for manufacturing AZ91D-alloy slurries for semi solid forming is to use the Al8(Mn, Fe)5 precipitates as the heterogeneous nucleation sites for primary α-Mg phases. Microscopic analysis for the location of the Al8(Mn, Fe)5 precipitate explains that the Al8(Mn, Fe)5 precipitate is the effective heterogeneous nucleation site for the primary α-Mg phase. It was also observed that increase of the Mn content in the melt and the cooling rate below to the solid/liquid two-phase region resulted in smaller and more globular primary α-Mg due to the increase of heterogeneous nucleation sites. It was found that the average α-Mg diameter grew as a function of t0.278, where t is the holding time at the solid/liquid two-phase region. This would be attributed to the Ostwald type ripening and coalescence between primary α-Mg phases. 10Therapeutic potential of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of NAFLD:A promising drug Potentilla discolor Bunge显示文摘Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is characterized by excessive accumulation of hepatic lipids and metabolic stress-induced liver injury.There are currently no approved effective pharmacological treatments for NAFLD.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has been used for centuries to treat patients with chronic liver diseases without clear disease types and mechanisms.More recently,TCM has been shown to have unique advantages in the treatment of NAFLD.We performed a systematic review of the medical literature published over the last two decades and found that many TCM formulas have been reported to be beneficial for the treatment of metabolic dysfunctions,including Potentilla discolor Bunge(PDB).PDB has a variety of active compounds,including flavonoids,terpenoids,organic acids,steroids and tannins.Many compounds have been shown to exhibit a series of beneficial effects for the treatment of NAFLD,including anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory functions,improvement of lipid metabolism and reversal of insulin resistance.In this review,we summarize potential therapeutic effects of TCM formulas for the treatment of NAFLD,focusing on the medicinal properties of natural active compounds from PDB and their underlying mechanisms.We point out that PDB can be classified as a novel candidate for the treatment and prevention of NAFLD.Longshan Ji Qian Li Yong He Xin Zhang Zhenhua Zhou Yating Gao Miao Fang Zhuo Yu Robim M.Rodrigues Yueqiu Gao Man Li 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,9:4
11Hypoxia-mimicking 3D bioglass-nanoclay scaffolds promote endogenous bone regeneration显示文摘Large bone defect repair requires biomaterials that promote angiogenesis and osteogenesis.In present work,a nanoclay(Laponite,XLS)-functionalized 3D bioglass(BG)scaffold with hypoxia mimicking property was prepared by foam replication coupled with UV photopolymerization methods.Our data revealed that the incorporation of XLS can significantly promote the mechanical property of the scaffold and the osteogenic differentiation of human adipose mesenchymal stem cells(ADSCs)compared to the properties of the neat BG scaffold.Desferoxamine,a hypoxia mimicking agent,encourages bone regeneration via activating hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha(HIF-1α)-mediated angiogenesis.GelMA-DFO immobilization onto BG-XLS scaffold achieved sustained DFO release and inhibited DFO degradation.Furthermore,in vitro data demonstrated increased HIF-1αand vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)expressions on human adipose mesenchymal stem cells(ADSCs).Moreover,BG-XLS/GelMA-DFO scaffolds also significantly promoted the osteogenic differentiation of ADSCs.Most importantly,our in vivo data indicated BG-XLS/GelMA-DFO scaffolds strongly increased bone healing in a critical-sized mouse cranial bone defect model.Therefore,we developed a novel BG-XLS/GelMA-DFO scaffold which can not only induce the expression of VEGF,but also promote osteogenic differentiation of ADSCs to promote endogenous bone regeneration.Xiao Zheng Xiaorong Zhang Yingting Wang Yangxi Liu Yining Pan Yijia Li Man Ji Xueqin Zhao Shengbin Huang Qingqing Yao 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,10:4
12Effects of 1-MCP on proline,polyamine,and nitric oxide metabolism in postharvest peach fruit under chilling stress显示文摘Peach(Prunus persica Batsch‘Yuhualu’)fruit are sensitive to chilling injury(CI).Proline,polyamine(PA),and nitric oxide(NO)are important small regulators of various metabolic pathways under chilling stress that mitigate CI.Ethylene is known to promote senescence and CI,while 1-methylcyclopropene(1-MCP)is an antagonist that inhibits the effects of ethylene.However,how1-MCP and ethylene affect proline,PA,and NO levels under chilling stress remains unclear.To address these questions,1-MCP(1μL·L^(−1))and ethylene(1μL·L^(−1))treatments were applied to peach fruit.Fruit were stored at 4°C for 28 d,then moved to 25°C for 3 d immediately after cold storage.Peach fruit exhibited CI symptoms after 7 d of cold storage with enhanced electrolyte leakage and malondialdehyde contents.The 1-MCP treatment significantly(P<0.05)restrained peach CI,and fruit did not exhibit CI symptoms until 14 d of cold storage.Proline and PAs in peach under chilling stress weremostly synthesized from glutamate and arginine,which were catalyzed by1-pyrroline-5-carboxylate synthetase and arginine decarboxylase,respectively.1-MCPtreated fruit exhibited higher proline and PA contents and enhanced chilling tolerance compared to the control,while ethylene-treated fruit had lower proline and PA contents and reduced chilling tolerance.Ethylene-treated fruit,which exhibited more severe CI symptoms compared to the control,had significantly(P<0.05)lower NO contents and NO synthase activities.However,NOmay not be a direct acting factor in 1-MCPinduced chilling tolerance,as 1-MCP-treated fruit had lower NO contents and NO synthase activities compared to the control.In conclusion,proline and PA clearly played direct and important roles in 1-MCP-induced peach chilling tolerance,while NO may not be actively involved.Chunlu Qian Zhengjie Ji Qin Zhu Xiaohua Qi Qianqian Li Jiandong Yin Jun Liu Juan Kan Man Zhang Changhai Jin Lixia Xiao 2021Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,3:4
13Objective Evaluation Method of Steering Comfort Based on Movement Quality Evaluation of Driver Steering Maneuver显示文摘The existing research of steering comfort mainly focuses on the subjective evaluation,aiming at designing and optimizing the steering system.In the development of steering system,especially the evaluation of steering comfort,the objective evaluation methods considered the kinematic characteristics of driver steering maneuver are not proposed,which means that the objective evaluation of steering cannot be conducted with the evaluation of kinematic characteristics of driver in steering maneuver.In order to propose the objective evaluation methods of steering comfort,the evaluation of steering movement quality of driver is developed on the basis of the study of the kinematic characteristics of steering maneuver.First,the steering motion trajectories of the driver in both comfortable and certain extreme uncomfortable operation conditions are detected using the Vicon motion capture system.The operation conditions are under the restrictions of the vertical height and horizontal distance between steering wheel center and the H-point of driver,and the steering resisting torque else.Next,the movement quality evaluation of driver steering maneuver is assessed using twelve kinds of evaluation indices based on the kinematic analyses of the steering motion trajectories to propose an objective evaluation method.Finally,an integrated discomfort index of steering maneuver is proposed on the basis of the regression analysis of subjective evaluation rating and the movement quality evaluation indices,including the Jerk,Discomfort and Joint Torque indices.The test results show that the proposed integrated discomfort index gives a good fitting with the subjective evaluation of discomfort,which means it can be used to evaluate or predict the discomfort level of steering maneuver.This paper proposes an objective evaluation method of steering comfort based on the movement quality evaluation of driver steering maneuver.YANG Yiyong LIU Yahui WANG Man JI Run JI Xuewu 2014Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,5:3

15Vulnerability and adaptation of an oasis social–ecological system affected by glacier change in an arid region of northwestern China显示文摘The Hexi Inland River Basin in an arid region of northwestern China was chosen as the study area for this research. The authors define the vulnerability of an oasis social-ecological system to glacier change; select 16 indicators from natural and socioeconomic systems according to exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity; and construct a vulnerability-assessment indicator system aimed at an inland river basin in the arid region of Northwestern China. Vulnerability of the oasis socialecological system affected by glacier change in the study area is evaluated by Spatial Principal Component Analysis(SPCA) under the circumstance of glacier change. The key factors affecting the vulnerability are analyzed. The vulnerability of the oasis social-ecological system in the Hexi Inland River Basin affected by glacier change is of more than medium grade, accounting for about 48.0% of the total number of counties in the study area. In terms of the spatial pattern of the vulnerability, the oasis economic belt is the most vulnerable. With the rapid development of the area's society and economy, the exposure of the system to glacial changes is significantly increased; and an increase in glacial meltwater is not enough to overcome the impact of increased exposure, which is the main reason for the high vulnerability. 16Intravenous iron supplementation may be superior to observation in acute isovolemic anemia after gastrectomy for cancer显示文摘AIM:To determine whether the application of postoperative intravenous(IV)-iron for acute isovolemic anemia after gastrectomy for cancer may be effective.METHODS:Among 2078 gastric cancer patients who underwent surgery between February 2007 and August2009 at the National Cancer Center Korea,368 patients developed post-operative anemia[hemoglobin-(Hb)-level<9 g/dL]within the first postoperative week.Patients requiring transfusions were excluded.IV-iron was administered to 63 patients(iron group).Sixty patients were observed without treatment(observation group).The clinical outcomes of the groups were compared concerning clinicopathologic data,morbidity,and changes in Hb levels using Fisher’s exact test,Student’s t-test and the Z-test.RESULTS:The initial Hb level was higher in the iron group than in the observation group(7.3±1.0 g/dL vs8.4±0.5 g/dL,P<0.001).The slope of the changes in the Hb level was significantly higher in the iron group than in the observation group(0.648±0.054 vs 0.349±0.038,P<0.001).The Hb level 1 and 3 mo postoperatively increased from 10.7±1.3 to 11.9±1.3g/dL in the iron group(P=0.033)and from 10.1±1.0to 10.8±1.4 g/dL in the observation group(P<0.001).The postoperative hospital stay was significantly longer in the iron group than in the observation group(10.5±6.8 d vs 7.6±5.5 d,P=0.011).There were no significant differences in the major and surgical complications between the groups(6.3%vs 13.3%,P=0.192;9.5%vs 3.3%,P=0.164).CONCLUSION:IV-iron supplementation may be an effective treatment for post-operative isovolemic postgastrectomy anemia and may be a better alternative than observation.Hong Man Yoon Young-Woo Kim Byung Ho Nam Daniel Reim Bang Wool Eom Ji Yeon Park Keun Won Ryu 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,7:2
17Universality of an improved photosynthesis prediction model based on PSO-SVM at all growth stages of tomato显示文摘CO_(2)concentration is an environmental factor affecting photosynthesis and consequently the yield and quality of tomatoes.In this study,a photosynthesis prediction model for the entire growth stage of tomatoes was constructed to elevate CO_(2)level on the basis of crop requirements and to evaluate the effect of CO_(2)elevation on leaf photosynthesis.The effect of CO_(2)enrichment on tomato photosynthesis was investigated using two CO_(2)enrichment treatments at the entire growth stage.A wireless sensor network-based environmental monitoring system was used for the real-time monitoring of environmental factors,and the LI-6400XT portable photosynthesis system was used to measure the net photosynthetic rate of tomato leaf.As input variables for the model,environmental factors were uniformly preprocessed using independent component analysis.Moreover,the photosynthesis prediction model for the entire growth stage was established on the basis of the support vector machine(SVM)model.Improved particle swarm optimization(PSO)was also used to search for the best parameters c and g of SVM.Furthermore,the relationship between CO_(2)concentration and photosynthetic rate under varying light intensities was predicted using the established model,which can determine CO_(2)saturation points at the various growth stages.The determination coefficients between the simulated and observed data sets for the three growth stages were 0.96,0.96,and 0.94 with the improved PSO-SVM and 0.89,0.87,and 0.86 with the original PSO-SVM.The results indicate that the improved PSO-SVM exhibits a high prediction accuracy.The study provides a basis for the precise regulation of CO_(2)enrichment in greenhouses.Li Ting Ji Yuhan Zhang Man Sha Sha Li Minzan 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,2:2
18Controllable self-assembly of parallel gold nanorod clusters by DNA origami显示文摘Herein we demonstrate the construction of three types of parallel gold nanorod(AuNR) clusters using a DNA origami rod(DOR) as the template. Based on the precise control over the position of capture strands on DOR, number and orientation of the AuNR clusters can be well engineered, as evidenced by biological transmission electron microscope(TEM). 20Key Techniques and Applications of Adaptive Growth Method for Stiffener Layout Design of Plates and Shells显示文摘The application of the adaptive growth method is limited because several key techniques during the design process need manual intervention of designers.Key techniques of the method including the ground structure construction and seed selection are studied,so as to make it possible to improve the effectiveness and applicability of the adaptive growth method in stiffener layout design optimization of plates and shells.Three schemes of ground structures,which are comprised by different shell elements and beam elements,are proposed.It is found that the main stiffener layouts resulted from different ground structures are almost the same,but the ground structure comprised by 8-nodes shell elements and both 3-nodes and 2-nodes beam elements can result in clearest stiffener layout,and has good adaptability and low computational cost.An automatic seed selection approach is proposed,which is based on such selection rules that the seeds should be positioned on where the structural strain energy is great for the minimum compliance problem,and satisfy the dispersancy requirement.The adaptive growth method with the suggested key techniques is integrated into an ANSYS-based program,which provides a design tool for the stiffener layout design optimization of plates and shells.Typical design examples,including plate and shell structures to achieve minimum compliance and maximum bulking stability are illustrated.In addition,as a practical mechanical structural design example,the stiffener layout of an inlet structure for a large-scale electrostatic precipitator is also demonstrated.The design results show that the adaptive growth method integrated with the suggested key techniques can effectively and flexibly deal with stiffener layout design problem for plates and shells with complex geometrical shape and loading conditions to achieve various design objectives,thus it provides a new solution method for engineering structural topology design optimization.DING Xiaohong JI Xuerong MA Man HOU Jianyun 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,6:2
