1Polymorphism-Dependent Dynamic Ultralong Organic Phosphorescence显示文摘Developing ultralong organic phosphorescence(UOP)materials with smart response to external stimuli is of great interest in photonics applications,whereas the manipulation of molecular stacking on tuning such dynamic UOP is still a formidable challenge.Herein,we have reported two polymorphs with distinct photoactivated dynamic UOP behavior based on a pyridine derivative for the first time.Our experiment revealed that the dynamic UOP behavior including photoactivation and deactivation feature is highly dependent on irradiation intensity and environmental atmosphere.Additionally,given the unique dynamic UOP feature,these phosphors have been successfully applied to phosphorescence-dependent molecular logic gate and timing data storage.This result not only paves a way to design smart functional materials but also expands the scope of the applications on organic phosphorescence materials.Mingxing Gu Huifang Shi Kun Ling Anqi Lv Kaiwei Huang Manjeet Singh He Wang Long Gu Wei Yao Zhongfu An Huili Ma Wei Huang 2020Research2020,,1:5
2A purely organic D-π-A-π-D emitter with thermally activated delayed fluorescence and room temperature phosphorescence for near-white OLED显示文摘A purely organic D-π-A-π-D type emitter showing thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)and room temperature phosphorescence(RTP)was designed and synthesized by utilizing the benzophenone as an acceptor and the N-phenyl-2-napthylamine as a donor moiety.It exhibits considerable TADF character in doped PMMA film and room temperature phosphorescence with a long lifetime of 74 ms at466 nm in solid state.The devices with the configuration of ITO/Mo_(2) O_(3)(4 nm)/mCP(30 nm)/mCP:x wt%NP2 BP/TmTyPB(60 nm)/LiF(1.5 nm)/AI(100 nm)were prepared by vacuum evaporation to explore their electroluminescent performance.Intere stingly,the non-doped device has obtained near-white emission with a fluorescence emission peak at 475 nm and a phosphore scence emission peak at 563 nm having the CIE coordinate of(0.23,0.32)and the maximum external quantum efficiency of 1.09%.Jing Sun Junsen Jia Bo Zhao Jingjing Yang Manjeet Singh Zhongfu An Hua Wang Bingshe Xu Wei Huang 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,4:5
3Reflection of plane seismic waves at the surface of double-porosity dual-permeability materials显示文摘The present work deals with the reflection of plane seismic waves at the stress-free plane surface of double-porosity dualpermeability material. The incidence of two main waves(i.e., P_1 and SV) is considered. As a result of the incident waves,four reflected(three longitudinal and one shear) waves are found in the medium. The expressions of reflection coefficients for a given incident wave are obtained as a non-singular system of linear equations. The energy shares of reflected waves are obtained in the form of an energy matrix. A numerical example is considered to calculate the partition of incident energy for fully closed as well as perfectly open pores. Effect of incident direction on the partition of the incident energy is analyzed with the change in wave frequency, wave-induced fluid-flow, pore-fluid viscosity and double-porosity structure. 5In situ synthesis of Ag-SiO_2 Janus particles with epoxy functionality for textile applications显示文摘A facile method for the synthesis of silver-silica(Ag-SiO_2) Janus particles with functionalities suitable for textile applications is reported.Silica nanoparticles prepared by the Stober method were functionalized with epoxy,amine,and thiol groups,which were confirmed by Fourier transform infrared analysis.The functionalized silica nanoparticles were used to produce Pickering emulsions,and the exposed surface was used for the attachment of silver nanoparticles(AgNPs) via the low-temperature chemical reduction method.The morphology and structure of the Ag-SiO_2 Janus particles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy,scanning transmission electron microscopy,high-resolution transmission electron microscopy,energy-dispersive X-ray analysis,and UV-vis spectroscopy.Because of their specific functionalities,these Ag-SiO_2 Janus particles are proposed for applications on textile substrates,as they can overcome several drawbacks of direct application of AgNPs on textiles,such as leaching,agglomeration,and instability during storage.Kamlesh Panwar Manjeet Jassal Ashwini K.Agrawal 2015Particuology2015,13,2:3

7Seismic reflection and transmission coefficients of a single layer sandwiched between two dissimilar poroelastic solids显示文摘The seismic reflection and transmission characteristics of a single layer sandwiched between two dissimilar poroelastic solids saturated with two immiscible viscous fluids are investigated. The sandwiched layer is modeled as a porous solid with finite thickness. The propagation of waves is represented with potential functions. The displacements of particles in different phases of the aggregate are defined in terms of these potential functions. Due to the presence of viscosity in pore fluids, the reflected and transmitted waves are inhomogeneous in nature, i.e., with different directions of propagation and attenuation. The closed-form analytical expressions for reflection and transmission coefficients are derived theoretically for appropriate boundary conditions. These expressions are calculated as a non-singular system of linear algebraic equations and depend on the various parameters involved in this non-singular system. Hence,numerical examples are studied to determine the effects of various properties of the sandwich layer on reflection and transmission coefficients. The essential features of layer thickness, incident direction, wave frequency, liquidsaturation and capillary pressure of the porous layer on reflection and transmission coefficients are depicted graphically and discussed. 8Laser-induced plasma electron number density:Stark broadening method versus the Saha-Boltzmann equation显示文摘We report spectroscopic studies on plasma electron number density of laser-induced plasma produced by ns-Nd:YAG laser light pulses on an aluminum sample in air at atmospheric pressure.The effect of different laser energy and the effect of different laser wavelengths were compared.The experimentally observed line profiles of neutral aluminum have been used to extract the excitation temperature using the Boltzmann plot method,whereas the electron number density has been determined from the Stark broadened as well as using the Saha-Boltzmann equation(SBE).Each approach was also carried out by using the Al emission line and Mg emission lines.It was observed that the SBE method generated a little higher electron number density value than the Stark broadening method,but within the experimental uncertainty range.Comparisons of N_e determined by the two methods show the presence of a linear relation which is independent of laser energy or laser wavelength.These results show the applicability of the SBE method for N_e determination,especially when the system does not have any pure emission lines whose electron impact factor is known.Also use of Mg lines gives superior results than Al lines.Arnab SARKAR Manjeet SINGH 2017Plasma Science and Technology2017,19,2:2
