1MHC II DRB variation and trans-species polymorphism in the golden snub-nosed monkey(Rhinopithecus roxellana)显示文摘Genetic variation is generally believed to be important in studying endangered species' adaptive potential.Early studies assessed genetic diversity using nearly neutral markers,such as microsatellite loci and mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA),which are very informative for phylogenetic and phylogeographic reconstructions.However,the variation at these loci cannot provide direct information on selective processes involving the interaction of individuals with their environment,or on the capability to resist continuously evolving pathogens and parasites.The importance of genetic diversity at informative adaptive markers,such as major histocompatibility complex(MHC) genes,is increasingly being realized,especially in endangered,isolated species.Small population size and isolation make the golden snub-nosed monkey(Rhinopithecus roxellana) particularly susceptible to genetic variation losses through inbreeding and restricted gene flow.In this study,we compared the genetic variation and population structure of microsatellites,mtDNA,and the most relevant adaptive region of the MHC II-DRB genes in the golden snub-nosed monkey.We examined three Chinese R.roxellana populations and found the same variation patterns in all gene regions,with the population from Shennongjia population,Hubei Province,showing the lowest polymorphism among three populations.Genetic drift that outweighed balancing selection and the founder effect in these populations may explain the similar genetic variation pattern found in these neutral and adaptive genes.LUO MaoFang PAN HuiJuan 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,17:5
2Validation of Landsat land surface temperature product in the conterminous United States using in situ measurements from SURFRAD, ARM, and NDBC sites显示文摘Since 1982,Landsat series of satellite sensors continuously acquired thermal infrared images of the Earth’s land surface.In this study,Landsat 5,7,and 8 land surface temperature(LST)products in the conterminous United States from 2009 to 2019 were validated using in situ measurements collected at 6 SURFRAD(Surface Radiation Budget Network)sites,6 ARM(Atmospheric Radiation Measurement)sites,and 9 NDBC(National Data Buoy Center)sites.The results indicate that a relatively consistent performance among Landsat 5,7,and 8 LST products is obtained for most sites due to the consistent LST retrieval algorithm in conjunction with the same atmospheric compensation and land surface emissivity(LSE)correction methods for Landsat 5,7,and 8 sensors.Large bias and root mean square error(RMSE)of Landsat LST product are obtained at some vegetated sites due to incorrect LSE estimation where LSE is invariant with the increasing of normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI).Except for the sites with incorrect LSE estimation,a mean bias(RMSE)of the differences between Landsat LST and in situ LST is 1.0 K(2.1 K)over snow-free land surfaces,−1.1 K(1.6 K)over snow surfaces,and−0.3 K(1.1 K)over water surfaces.Si-Bo Duan Zhao-Liang Li Wei Zhao Penghai Wu Cheng Huang Xiao-Jing Han Maofang Gao Pei Leng Guofei Shang 2021International Journal of Digital Earth2021,14,5:2

4Challenges and possible solutions to creating an achievable and effective Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework显示文摘Global biodiversity is in crisis as a result of human activity.This biodiversity crisis has been well documented by scientists,recognized by world leaders,politicians,businesses,and citizens.Both the biodiversity and climate crises need to be addressed now.2020 was when this change was supposed to start,with the 15th Conference of Parties(COP15)of the Convention on Biodiversity(CBD)meeting in Kunming,and the 26th Conference of Parties(COP26)of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change meeting in Glasgow,but both meetings were postponed.COP26 was held a year late(November 2021),while COP15 was split into two,with the first part held in Kunming in October 2021,and the second part scheduled for Montreal in December 2022.This meeting in Montreal-arguably the most important in the CBDs history-must agree on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework(GBF),to reverse biodiversity loss.Failure to reach agreement in Montreal would ultimately be a failure of us all,with irreversible consequences for life on earth.Yet,with three months before the final deadline only 20%of text and two targets are agreed.This paper reviews the factors hindering progress on the agreement and suggests possible solutions.Alice Hughes Xiaoli Shen Richard Corlett Lin Li Maofang Luo Stephen Woodley Yuanming Zhang Keping Ma 2022Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2022,8,1:1

8Nitrogen Content Inversion of Corn Leaf Data Based on Deep Neural Network Model显示文摘To obtain excellent regression results under the condition of small sample hyperspectral data,a deep neural network with simulated annealing(SA-DNN)is proposed.According to the characteristics of data,the attention mechanism was applied to make the network pay more attention to effective features,thereby improving the operating efficiency.By introducing an improved activation function,the data correlation was reduced based on increasing the operation rate,and the problem of over-fitting was alleviated.By introducing simulated annealing,the network chose the optimal learning rate by itself,which avoided falling into the local optimum to the greatest extent.To evaluate the performance of the SA-DNN,the coefficient of determination(R^(2)),root mean square error(RMSE),and other metrics were used to evaluate the model.The results show that the performance of the SA-DNN is significantly better than other traditional methods.Yulin Li Mengmeng Zhang Maofang Gao Xiaoming Xie Wei Li 2023Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2023,32,5:0
9Polymer Nanoparticles Prepared by Supercritical Carbon Dioxide for in Vivo Anti-cancer Drug Delivery显示文摘A new approach for producing polymer nanoparticles made of bovine serum albumin-poly(methy methacrylate) conjugate by precipitating in supercritical CO2 is reported. The nanoparticles were loaded with the anti-tumor drug camptothecin. 10硼替佐米、三氧化二砷对多发性骨髓瘤细胞株KM_3细胞的抑制作用(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of our study was to investigate the effect of bortezomib in combination with arsenic trioxide(As2O3) on the proliferation and apoptosis in the human multiple myeloma cell line KM3.Methods:KM3 cells were cultured with different concentrations of bortezomib, As2O3 alone or in combination for different times.Cell proliferation was analyzed by MTT assay, and the IC50 was calculated.Cell morphology was observed under the light microscope(using Wright-Giemsa stain) and electric microscope.Agarose gel electrophoresis was used to evaluate DNA content.Flow cytometry was used to examine Annexin V-FITC/PI stain and mitochondrial transmembrane electric potential(ΔΨm).Results:Bortezomib and As2O3 alone both inhibited KM3 cell proliferation in a time and dose dependent manner, with the IC50 were 0.27, 3.10 μmol/L, respectively;the inhibiting rate on KM3 cells of bortezomib plus As2O3 was significantly higher than bortezomib alone(18.22 ± 1.04)% vs.(13.18 ± 1.29)%, P < 0.05;A series of typical morphological features of apoptosis and a typical DNA ladder were observed in KM3 cell treated with 0.25 μmol/L bortezomib for 48 h, which showed increased Annexin V positivity and decreased ΔΨm.The apoptosis rate induced by bortezomib plus As2O3 was also significantly than that of induced by bortezomib alone.Conclusion:Bortezomib could inhibit the proliferation while induce apoptosis of KM3 cells which may be through decreased ΔΨm.Bortezomib had enhanced inhibitory effect with As2O3 on the growth of KM3 cell(P < 0.05).As2O3 enhances the apoptosis effects of bortezomib on KM3 cell.Guifang Ouyang Maofang Lin 2010The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2010,9,3:0
