| 2 | The discovery of interfacial electronic interaction within cobalt boride@MXene for high performance lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur battery is strongly considered as the most promising next-generation energy storage system because of the high theoretical specific capacity.The serious'shuttle effect'and sluggish reaction kinetic limited the commercial application of lithium-sulfur battery.Many hetero structure s were applied to accelerate polysulfides conversion and suppress their migration in lithium-sulfur batteries.Nevertheless,the effect of the interface in heterostructure was not clear.Here,the Co_(2)B@MXene heterostructure is synthesized through chemical reactions at room temperature and employed as the interlayer material for Li-S batteries.The theoretical calculations and experimental results indicate that the interfacial electronic interaction of Co_(2)B@MXene induce the transfer of electrons from Co_(2)B to MXene,enhancing the catalytic ability and favoring fast redox kinetics of the polysulfides,and the theoretical calculations also reveal the underlying mechanisms for the electron transfer is that the two materials have different Fermi energy levels.The cell with Co_(2)B@MXene exhibits a high initial capacity of1577 mAh/g at 0.1 C and an ultralow capacity decay of 0.0088%per cycle over 2000 cycles at 2 C.Even at5.1 mg/cm^(2) of sulfur loading,the cell with Co_(2)B@MXene delivers 5.2 mAh/cm^(2) at 0.2 C. | Bin Guan Xun Sun Yu Zhang Xian Wu Yue Qiu Maoxu Wang Lishuang Fan Naiqing Zhang | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,7: | 2 |

| 4 | Characterization of iron diagenesis in marine sediments using refined iron speciation and quantized iron(Ⅲ)-oxide reactivity:a case study in the Jiaozhou Bay,China显示文摘As a case study, refined iron(Fe) speciation and quantitative characterization of the reductive reactivity of Fe(Ⅲ)oxides are combined to investigate Fe diagenetic processes in a core sediment from the eutrophic Jiaozhou Bay.The results show that a combination of the two methods can trace Fe transformation in more detail and offer nuanced information on Fe diagenesis from multiple perspectives. This methodology may be used to enhance our understanding of the complex biogeochemical cycling of Fe and sulfur in other studies. Microbial iron reduction(MIR) plays an important role in Fe(Ⅲ) reduction over the upper sediments, while a chemical reduction by reaction with dissolved sulfide is the main process at a deeper(> 12 cm) layer. The most bioavailable amorphous Fe(Ⅲ) oxides [Fe(Ⅲ)am] are the main source of the MIR, followed by poorly crystalline Fe(Ⅲ) oxides [Fe(Ⅲ)pc)]and magnetite. Well crystalline Fe(Ⅲ) oxides [Fe(Ⅲ)wc] have barely participated in Fe diagenesis. The importance of the MIR over the upper layer may be a combined result of the high availability of highly reactive Fe oxides and low availability of labile organic matter, and the latter is also the ultimate factor limiting sulfate reduction and sulfide accumulation in the sediments. Microbially reducible Fe(Ⅲ) [MR-Fe(Ⅲ)], which is quantified by kinetics of Fe(II)-oxide reduction, mainly consists of the most reactive Fe(Ⅲ)am and less reactive Fe(Ⅲ)pc. | 10 | Discovery of an orally active VHL-recruiting PROTAC that achieves robust HMGCR degradation and potent hypolipidemic activity in vivo显示文摘HMG-CoA reductase(HMGCR) protein is usually upregulated after statin(HMGCR inhibitor) treatment, which inevitably diminishes its therapeutic efficacy, provoking the need for higher doses associated with adverse effects. The proteolysis targeting chimera(PROTAC) technology has recently emerged as a powerful approach for inducing protein degradation. Nonetheless, due to their bifunctional nature, developing orally bioavailable PROTACs remains a great challenge. Herein, we identified a powerful HMGCR-targeted PROTAC(21 c) comprising a VHL ligand conjugated to lovastatin acid that potently degrades HMGCR in Insig-silenced HepG2 cells(DC50 Z 120 nmol/L) and forms a stable ternary complex, as predicated by a holistic modeling protocol. Most importantly, oral administration of the corresponding lactone 21 b reveled favorable plasma exposures referring to both the parent 21 b and the conversed acid 21 c.
