4Mechanical thrombectomy with combined stent retriever and contact aspiration versus stent retriever alone for acute large vessel occlusion:data from ANGEL-ACT registry显示文摘Background and purpose An analysis of the ASTER 2 trial revealed similar final recanalisation levels and clinical outcomes in acute large vessel occlusion(LVO)stroke between stent retrieval(SR)alone as a first-line mechanical thrombectomy(MT)technique(SR alone first-line)and concomitant use of contact aspiration(CA)plus SR as a first-line MT technique(SR+CA first-line).The purpose of the present study was to compare the safety and efficacy of SR+CA first-line with those of SR alone first-line for patients with LVO in China.Methods We conducted the present study by using the data from the ANGEL-ACT registry.We divided the selected patients into SR+CA first-line and SR alone first-line groups.We performed logistic regression and generalised linear models with adjustments to compare the angiographic and clinical outcomes,including successful/complete recanalisation after the first technique alone and all procedures,first-pass successful/complete recanalisation,number of passes,90-day modified Rankin Scale,procedure duration,rescue treatment and intracranial haemorrhage within 24 hours.Results Of the 1233 enrolled patients,1069(86.7%)received SR alone first-line,and 164(13.3%)received SR+CA first-line.SR+CA first-line was associated with more thrombectomy passes(3(2-4)vs 2(1-2);β=1.77,95%CI=1.55 to 1.99,p<0.001),and longer procedure duration(86(60-129)min vs 80(50-122)min;β=10.76,95%CI=1.08 to 20.43,p=0.029)than SR alone first-line group.Other outcomes were comparable(all p>0.05)between the two groups.Conclusions Patients undergoing SR+CA first-line had more thrombectomy passes and longer procedure duration than patients undergoing SR alone first-line.Additionally,we suggested that SR+CA first-line was not superior to SR alone first-line in final recanalisation level,first-pass recanalisation level and 90-day clinical outcomes in the Chinese population.Xiaochuan Huo Dapeng Sun Mingkai Hu Raynald Baixue Jia Xu Tong Gaoting Ma Anxin Wang Ning Ma Feng Gao Dapeng Mo Zhongrong Miao the ANGEL-ACT Study group 2023Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,4:1
5A novel coumarin derivative DBH2 inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis of chronic myeloid leukemia cells显示文摘With the development of tyrosine kinase inhibitor(TKI)resistance,finding the novel effective chemotherapeutic agent is of seminal importance for chronic myelogenous leukemia(CML)treatment.This study aims to find the effective anti-leukemic candidates and investigate the possible underlying mechanism.We synthesized the novel coumarin derivatives and evaluated their anti-leukemic activity.Cell viability assay revealed that compound DBH2 exhibited the potent inhibitory activity on the proliferation of CML K562 cells and TKI resistant K562 cells.Morphological observation and flow cytometry confirmed that DBH2 could selectively induce cell apoptosis and cell cycle arrest at G2/M phase of the K562 cells,which was further confirmed on the bone marrow cells from CML transgenic model mice and CD34+bone marrow leukemic cells from CML patients.Treatments of DBH2 in combination with imatinib could prolong the survival rate of SCL-tTA-BCR/ABL transgenic model mice significantly.Quantitative RT-PCR revealed that DBH2 inhibited the expression of STAT3 and STAT5 in K562 cells,and caspase-3 knockout alleviated the DBH2 induced apoptosis.Furthermore,DBH2 could induce the expression of PARP1 and ROCK1 in K562 cells,which may play the important role in caspase-dependent apoptosis.Our results concluded that coumarin derivative DBH2 serves as a promising candidate for the CML treatment,especially in the combination with imatinib for the TKI resistant CML,and STAT/caspase-3 pathway was involved in the molecular mechanism of anti-leukemic activity of DBH2.Jiajia Xin Huijie Zhang Dandan Yin Ning An Yaozhen Chen Jinmei Xu Jing Zhang Zhixin Liu Yongsheng Liu Wen Yin Mingkai Li Xingbin Hu 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,2:0
6Effect of defatted flaxseed gum powder addition on the quality of sesame paste显示文摘The study explored the influence of defatted flaxseed gum powder(DFGP)on the stability and quality of sesame paste by measuring and analyzing its composition,color,texture,particle size,centrifugal oil separation rate,rheological properties,and microstructure.The results showed that the moisture and polysaccharide content of sesame paste was increased as the DFGP increased.Additionally,the hardness,gumminess,and chewiness of the sesame paste was improved,while the presence of particles with small particle size(1-100μm)was decreased.The rate of oil precipitation was reduced by 28.99%when the amount of DFGP was 6%.The sesame paste samples exhibited pseudoplastic behavior,demonstrating shear thinning.As the shear rate increased,the apparent viscosity of sesame paste gradually decreased.Both the storage modulus(G0)and the loss modulus(G00)increased as the shear frequency increased.The microstructure observation revealed that protein and oil were evenly distributed in the sesame paste system,and the addition of DFGP enhanced the bonding between oil and protein.This study can provide valuable references for high-quality sesame paste products in the food industry.Haichao He Mingkai Sun Jiahui Wang Yan Tang Yashu Chen Qianchun Deng Qingde Huang Hu Tang 2024Oil Crop Science2024,9,1:0
