| 1 | Studies on in vitro regeneration competence of pseudobulb cultures in Changnienia amoena Chien显示文摘An efficient procedure is outlined for rapid and mass propagation through in vitro culture of pseudobulbs collected in different seasons of an endangered orchid, Changnienia amoena Chien. Axillary buds formed on intact pseudobulbs (collected in April) after a 12-week incubation on half-strength Murashige and Skoog (1/2 MS) medium supplemented with 1 mg L-1 N6-benzyl- adenine (6-BA), 0.5 mg L-1 α-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA), 100 ml L-1 coconut water and 0.8 g L-1 polyvinylpyrrolidone; no buds were observed on segmentalized pseudobulbs incubated on the same medium. The axillary buds obtained from pseudobulbs growing in the natural habitat in June were detached and incubated for 7 weeks on the same medium leading to 1.4 shoot buds per explant. With repeated subculturing of the shoots on 1/2 MS medium supplemented with 2 mg L-1 6-BA and 0.5 mg L-1 NAA, a mean of 3.3 shoot buds per explant were observed on successive shoot cultures. A mean of 4.5 roots per shoot were induced on the optimal root induction medium with 1/2 MS medium plus 1.0 mg L-1 NAA and 0.1 mg L-1 6-BA and the highest rooting per centage was 88.9%. Plantlets 4-5 cm in height were transplanted into pots containing a 1:1 humus and sand mixture and grown for 7 weeks in a greenhouse before being transferred to the field. | 2 | Influence of aerodynamic configuration of a streamline box girder on bridge flutter and vortex-induced vibration显示文摘Streamline box girders are widely applied in the design and construction of long-span bridges all over the world.In order to study the influence of modifications of aerodynamic configuration and accessory components on flutter and vortex-induced vibration(VIV),more than 60 cases were tested through a 1?50 scale section model.The test results indicates that the aerodynamic configuration and accessory components of streamline box girders can signifi-cantly affect the wind-induced vibration of bridge,which is in good agreement with the experience of past researchers.From the tests carried out,it is observed that if the horizontal angle of the inclined web of the streamline box girder is below 16°,the critical flutter wind speed of bridge will increase remarkably,and the VIV will diminish.The test results also show that the 15° inclined web can restrain the formation of vortex near the tail,and consequently improve the performance of aerodynamic stability of long-span bridges.Finally,a new streamline box girder with 15° inclined web was presented and strongly recommended in the aerodynamic configuration design of long-span bridges. | Qi WANG Haili LIAO Mingshui LI Cunming MA | 2011 | Journal of Modern Transportation2011,19,4: | 7 |
| 3 | The relationship between organic matter and specific surface area in <2 μm clay size fraction of muddy source rock显示文摘The adsorption of organic matter(OM)onto clay minerals has long been considered as a significant way of OM preservation in source rock.Here we analyzed the relationship between OM and the specific surface area(SSA)of <2μm clay size fraction isolated from 13 source rock cores collected from Dongying depression.Rock-Eval pyrolysis and N2 adsorption experiment were employed to probe the characteristics of OM and SSA(denoted SBET)in samples before and after OM extraction using trichloromethane.The results indicate that various kinds of OM occurrence coexist in clay size fraction and their contributions to hydrocarbon are different in each period of OM evolution.The occurrence and amount of OM affect the S BET of clay size fraction,and a nonlinear negative correlation between total organic carbon(TOC)and S BET can be recognized.The soluble OM(chloroform extract 'A'),mainly stored in the pore space of clay size fraction,shows a negative correlation in amount with S BET.Our data also indicate that free hydrocarbon(S1)was stored mainly in the pore space and/or the surface of clay size fraction,whereas pyrolysis hydrocarbon(S2)was mingled mainly with clay minerals.Therefore,to understand various OM occurrences and their relationship with SBET in the clay size fraction is significant in the study of generation,accumulation,and migration of hydrocarbon in muddy source rock. | DING Fei CAI JinGong SONG MingShui YUAN Peng | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,8: | 6 |

| 12 | Division of“layer exploration unit”and high-efficiency exploration in mature exploration area显示文摘To realize high-efficiency and sustainable exploration of the Jiyang depression at the stage of high exploration degree, a hydrocarbon accumulation-geological evaluation method is developed on the basis of current geologic knowledge and extent of fine exploration. The concept of 'layer exploration unit' is proposed in the study, and it is defined as an exploration geological unit that has a relatively complete and unified tectonic system, sedimentary system and hydrocarbon migration & accumulation system in a tectonic layer or tectonic sublayer within a fault basin. Then, an approach to dividing and evaluating the 'layer exploration unit' is developed. With this approach, the Jiyang depression is divided into 305 layer exploration units, thus helping realize precise and stereoscopic geological understanding and exploration deployment. Fine splitting of remaining resources and benefit evaluation of exploration targets are conducted by 'layer exploration units'. | 13 | Reservoir formation conditions and key technologies for exploration and development in Shengtuo oilfield in Bohai Bay Basin显示文摘The Shengtuo oilfield is the largest monolithic oilfield in the Bohai Bay Basin and even in the continental fault basins of Eastern China.Since discovered in 1963,the Shengtuo oilfield experiences the early exploration stage of rapid reserve discovery and production,the middle exploration stage of high and stable production and development,and the late exploration stage of theoretical and technological innovation for expanding the field of exploration,research on fine development technology of high-water-cut reservoir for enhanced oil recovery,and maintaining slow decline of oil production.Re-serves of this oilfield increase in each stage.By the end of 2018,after more than 50 years of exploration and development,the Shengtuo oilfeld has cumulative proven oil reserves of 0.512 x 10°t,cumulative oil production of 0.193 x 109t,and it keeps stable annual production of more than 150 x 105t in 2018.Abundant hydrocarbon resources,large anticline structure near to oil source,multiple types of reservoirs and traps,and favorable hydrocarbon migration channels provide favorable hydrocarbon accumulation conditions for the Shengtuo oilfield.Fine development techniques such water-flooding in the early development stage,fine reservoir description in the high water cut stage,stratigraphic subdivision and well pattem vector adjustment,tapping remaining oil in rhythmic layers,etc,as well as conti nuous progress in exploration technologies of glutenite and turbidite reservoirs around the main body of the oilfield in the high-level exploration stage,provide effective supports for continuous increase of reserves and long-term high and stable production of the Shengtuo oilfeld. | Mingshui Song | 2020 | Petroleum Research2020,5,4: | 0 |

| 15 | Remote sensing of subtropical tree diversity:The underappreciated roles of the practical definition of forest canopy and phenological variation显示文摘Tree species diversity is vital for maintaining ecosystem functions,yet our ability to map the distribution of tree diversity is limited due to difficulties in traditional field-based approaches.Recent developments in spaceborne remote sensing provide unprecedented opportunities to map and monitor tree diversity more efficiently.Here we built partial least squares regression models using the multispectral surface reflectance acquired by Sentinel-2 satellites and the inventory data from 74 subtropical forest plots to predict canopy tree diversity in a national natural reserve in eastern China.In particular,we evaluated the underappreciated roles of the practical definition of forest canopy and phenological variation in predicting tree diversity by testing three different definitions of canopy trees and comparing models built using satellite imagery of different seasons.Our best models explained 42%–63%variations in observed diversities in cross-validation tests,with higher explanation power for diversity indices that are more sensitive to abundant species.The models built using imageries from early spring and late autumn showed consistently better fits than those built using data from other seasons,highlighting the significant role of transitional phenology in remotely sensing plant diversity.Our results suggested that the cumulative diameter(60%–80%)of the biggest trees is a better way to define the canopy layer than using the subjective fixeddiameter-threshold(5–12 cm)or the cumulative basal area(90%–95%)of the biggest trees.Remarkably,these approaches resulted in contrasting diversity maps that call attention to canopy structure in remote sensing of tree diversity.This study demonstrates the potential of mapping and monitoring tree diversity using the Sentinal-2 data in species-rich forests. | Yongchao Liu Ruyun Zhang Chen-Feng Lin Zhaochen Zhang Ran Zhang Kankan Shang Mingshui Zhao Jingyue Huang Xiaoning Wang You Li Yulin Zeng Yun-Peng Zhao Jian Zhang Dingliang Xing | 2023 | Forest Ecosystems2023,10,3: | 0 |
| 16 | Extreme value of wind-excited response considering influence of bandwidth显示文摘This paper addresses the peak factors of wind-excited responses including alongwind, acrosswind tall building responses and vortex-induced vibration considering the bandwidth parameter. The influence of bandwidth parameter on the peak factor is investigated using advanced upcrossing theory taking the bandwidth influence into account. Results show that Davenport's formula without consideration of bandwidth parameter servers well in general.
