5Establishment of European Regional Ionosphere Model Based on Spherical Harmonic Functions显示文摘In order to study the temporal and spatial variation characteristics of the regional ionosphere and the modeling accuracy,the experiment is based on the spherical harmonic function model,using the GPS,Glonass,and Galileo dual-frequency observation data from the 305th-334th day of the European CORS network in 2019 to establish a global ionospheric model.By analyzing and evaluating the accuracy of the global ionospheric puncture points,VTEC,and comparing code products,the test results showed that the GPS system has the most dense puncture electricity distribution,the Glonass system is the second,and the Galileo system is the weakest.The values of ionospheric VTEC calculated by GPS,Glonass and Galileo are slightly different,but in terms of trends,they are the same as those of ESA,JPL and UPC.GPS data has the highest accuracy in global ionospheric modeling.GPS,Glonass and Galileo have the same trend,but Glonass data is unstable and fluctuates greatly.Mingze Zhang 2021Journal of World Architecture2021,5,6:1
6Color-tunable hypersensitive temperature sensor based on metal organic framework doped with Eu^(3+)and Dy^(3+)via phonon-assisted energy transfer显示文摘In this work,catena-[(μ-benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylato)-(1,10-phenanthroline)-(N,N-dimethylfo rmamide)-gadolinium(ⅲ)-N,N-dimethylformamide solvate](denoted as Gd-MOF)co-doped with Eu^(3+)and Dy^(3+)was successfully synthesized.The entire X-ray diffraction peaks of the sample match well with the GdMOF phase.A detailed characterization by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS)shows that the actual concentration is basically consistent with the design concentration.The temperature sensing properties of Gd-MOF:Eu^(3+),Dy^(3+)were analyzed by temperature-dependent fluorescence spectra from 213 to 453 K.As temperature rises,the emission color of Gd-MOF:Eu^(3+),Dy^(3+)changes from yellow to red.The relative sensitivity reaches a maximum of 5.87%/K at 383 K in the Gd-MOF:1%Eu^(3+),30%Dy^(3+)sample.The high relative sensitivity of this MOF is due to the phonon-assisted energy transfer from Dy^(3+)to Eu^(3+),which is proved via fluorescence decay curves and fluoresce nce spectra.The major route of this energy transfer is^(4)F_(9/2)(Dy^(3+))→^(5)D_(1)(Eu^(3+)).Mingze Zhang Lin Lin Zhuohong Feng Zhezhe Wang Yuanming Yang Wenjun Ma Jieyi Cai Pan Lu Siyi Jia Zhiqiang Zheng 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,11:1

8Functional analysis of flavanone 3-hydroxylase(F3H)from Dendrobium officinale,which confers abiotic stress tolerance显示文摘Flavonoids are important bioactive components in Dendrobium officinale,a medicinal orchid.They are involved in many biological activities,including protecting plants against biotic and abiotic stresses.Research on the key genes related to flavonoid biosynthesis in D.officinale is limited.In this study,one of the key flavonoid biosynthesis genes,flavanone 3-hydroxylase(F3H),was characterized from D.officinale.The open reading frame of DoF3H was 1134 bp long and it encoded a 377-amino acid protein.The DoF3H protein showed considerably high homology with F3H proteins from other plant species and shared a common evolutionary ancestor with other F3Hs.DoF3H transcripts were detected in different organs of adult plants and mainly accumulated in flowers,followed by roots,stems and leaves,a pattern that was similar to the content of flavonoids.Recombinant DoF3H protein,which was localized in the cytosol,could convert naringenin to dihydrokaempferol.The mRNA levels of DoF3H were significantly induced by salt and cold stresses.Furthermore,the heterologous expression of DoF3H in Escherichia coli conferred it higher tolerance to salt and cold stresses.These results provide insight into the molecular function of DoF3H in the biosynthesis of flavonoids,and provide a new application for improvement of abiotic tolerance in D.officinale.Can Si Wei Dong Jaime A.Teixeira da Silva Chunmei He Zhenming Yu Mingze Zhang Lei Huang Conghui Zhao Danqi Zeng Chuanmao Li Shengxiang Qiu Jun Duan 2023Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,2:1

10ERF5 enhances protocorm-like body regeneration via enhancement of STM expression in Dendrobium orchid显示文摘Orchid plants develop protocorms upon germination and produce protocorm-like structures called protocorm-like bodies(PLBs)from protocorms and somatic cells via tissue culture.Protocorm-like bodies have broad technical application potential in the orchid industry and their regeneration is a distinct developmental process in the plant kingdom.However,little is known about this unparalleled developmental program.In this study,we identified a PLB-abundant gene,ethylene response factor(ERF),and a transcription factor named Do ERF5,and determined its important role in PLB regeneration in Dendrobium orchid.Overexpression of Do ERF5 in Dendrobium greatly enhanced the PLB regeneration from PLB and stem explants,and upregulated the expression of WOUND-INDUCED DEDIFFERENTIATION(Do WIND)homologs and SHOOT MERISTEMLESS(Do STM),as well as the genes involved in cytokinin biosynthesis(Do IPT)and the cytokinin response factors(Do ARRs).However,silencing Do ERF5 reduced the regeneration rate of PLBs,and downregulated the expression of Do WIND homologs,Do STM and Do ARRs.We demonstrated that Do ERF5 is directly bound to the Do STM promoter and regulates its expression.In addition,overexpression of Do STM in Dendrobium orchid resulted in favorable regeneration of PLBs.Our results clarify that Do ERF5 regulates the regeneration of PLB by enhancing Do STM expression.Our findings provide new insights into how Do ERF5 mediates PLB regeneration and offers technical potential in improving clonal propagation,preservation,and the bioengineering of orchids.Danqi Zeng Can Si Mingze Zhang Jun Duan Chunmei He 2023Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,9:0
112-9 Half-life Measurement of 94mRu44+ at CSRe显示文摘A radioactive nucleus is characterized with an intrinsic half-life. However, for a nuclear species, the half-lives inneutral atoms could be very different from that in highly charged ions. The half-lives of some highly charged ionshave been directly measured at GSI for multiple motivations[1]. In the same case, the nuclear state(i:e the isomer)may be in the range of several tens of microseconds and their half-live can be measured using isochronous massspectrometry. The J = 8+ isomeric state in 94Ru was chosen to test this method. The half-life of this isomer is71 s [2] in neutral atoms, and the excitation energy is 2.64 MeV. The internal conversion coefficient of this decayin neutral atom is 0.335. 12Tailoring electron vortex beams with customizable intensity patterns by electron diffraction holography显示文摘An electron vortex beam(EVB)carrying orbital angular momentum(OAM)plays a key role in a series of fundamental sci-entific researches,such as chiral energy-loss spectroscopy and magnetic dichroism spectroscopy.So far,almost all the experimentally created EVBs manifest isotropic doughnut intensity patterns.Here,based on the correlation between loc-al divergence angle of electron beam and phase gradient along azimuthal direction,we show that free electrons can be tailored to EVBs with customizable intensity patterns independent of the carried OAM.As proof-of-concept,by using computer generated hologram and designing phase masks to shape the incident free electrons in the transmission elec-tron microscope,three structured EVBs carrying identical OAM are tailored to exhibit completely different intensity pat-terns.Furthermore,through the modal decomposition,we quantitatively investigate their OAM spectral distributions and reveal that structured EVBs present a superposition of a series of different eigenstates induced by the locally varied geo-metries.These results not only generalize the concept of EVB,but also demonstrate an extra highly controllable degree of freedom for electron beam manipulation in addition to OAM.Pengcheng Huo Ruixuan Yu Mingze Liu Hui Zhang Yan-qing Lu Ting Xu 2024Opto-Electronic Advances2024,7,2:0

14Non-uniqueness of critical solid fraction considering boundary conditions and strain-rate effects显示文摘The critical solid fraction(ϕJ),which marks the transition between the solid and liquid phases in the jamming diagram,is influenced by several factors.In this study,the dependency ofϕJ on strain rate and boundary conditions is examined through discrete element method simulations considering a frictionless polydisperse granular system.Different approaches are used to determineϕJ.The observed boundary effect is due to the nonuniform solid fraction distribution induced by the clustering of particles close to rigid-wall boundaries at high compression rates.The solid fraction distribution within the sample in the rigid-wall simulations approaches that in the periodic-boundary simulations as the compression rate decreases.With increasing compression rate,the major force transmission network contains fewer mechanically stable particles and a less stable force transmission network.This causes jamming of the granular assembly at a lower solid fraction.These force transmission networks,however,are fragile and disintegrate quickly upon relaxation.Mingze Xu Zixin Zhang Xin Huang Kevin J.Hanley 2021Particuology2021,19,1:0

16Monitoring Forest Growth Disturbance Using Time Series MODIS EVI Data显示文摘Forest growth is mainly currently monitored using in-situ measurements in northeast of China.To effectively monitor forest growth disturbance at large scale,we attempted to use remote sensing technique,particularly,time series MODIS data from 2004 to 2006.The annual time series of 8-day enhanced vegetation index(EVI) dataset was generated and smoothed using a Savitzky-Golay filter.The EVI trajectory during growth season was simulated using a logistic model. From the simulated trajectory,the EVI area of growth season and annual EVI entropy were calculated.These two factors were combined to map the disturbance regions of forest growth. 17Janus aramid nanofiber aerogel incorporating plasmonic nanoparticles for high-efficiency interfacial solar steam generation显示文摘Interfacial solar steam generation(ISSG)is a novel and potential solution to global freshwater crisis.Here,based on a facile sol-gel fabrication process,we demonstrate a highly scalable Janus aramid nanofiber aerogel(JANA)as a high-efficiency ISSG device.JANA performs near-perfect broadband optical absorption,rapid photothermal conversion and effective water transportation.Owning to these features,efficient desalination of salty water and purification of municipal sewage are successfully demonstrated using JANA.In addition,benefiting from the mechanical property and chemical stability of constituent aramid nanofibers,JANA not only possesses outstanding flexibility and fire-resistance properties,but its solar steaming efficiency is also free from the influences of elastic deformations and fire treatments.We envision JANA provides a promising platform for mass-production of high-efficiency ISSG devices with supplementary capabilities of convenient transportation and long-term storage,which could further promote the realistic applications of ISSG technology.Hui Zhang Lei Feng Fengyue Wang Mingze Liu Yingying Zhang Jia Zhu Yanqing Lu Ting Xu 2023Opto-Electronic Advances2023,6,5:0
18Energy Absorption by 3D-Printed Mesh Structures with a Negative Poisson’s Ratio显示文摘A negative Poisson's ratio(NPR)structure represents optimal impact-resistance with applications in various fields,including the crash box in vehicles,which absorbs impact kinetic energy.The crash box is designed to deform in response to impact,increasing local structural density,which enhances impact resistance performance.Current studies have only focused on the NPR effect in the plane dimension at low-speed loads.Few studies have considered high-speed impact loads on three-dimensional NPR structures.We have developed two types of AlSi10Mg alloy energy-absorbing structures with NPR using three-dimensional printing technology,and have compared our systems with a conventional hexagonal mesh structure.Sample testing involved split-Hopkinson pressure bar measurements,which showed good agreement with dynamic numerical simulations.When subjected to an impact load,the NPR structure exhibited better impact resistance and energy absorption compared with the positive Poisson's ratio structure.The proposed dual-layer hexagonal structure ensures an NPR effect while exhibiting higher strength and improved stability relative to the conventional concave hexagon structure.Wenyu Li Weiming Yang Mingze Li Xiang Zhang Ping Zhang Yucheng Zhao Peijian Chen Haishun Liu 2024Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2024,37,1:0
