7Kinetic Ising model in a time-dependent oscillating external magnetic field:effective-field theory显示文摘Recently,Shi et al.[2008 Phys.Lett.A 372 5922] have studied the dynamical response of the kinetic Ising model in the presence of a sinusoidal oscillating field and presented the dynamic phase diagrams by using an effective-field theory(EFT) and a mean-field theory(MFT).The MFT results are in conflict with those of the earlier work of Tom'e and de Oliveira,[1990 Phys.Rev.A 41 4251].We calculate the dynamic phase diagrams and find that our results are similar to those of the earlier work of Tom'e and de Oliveira;hence the dynamic phase diagrams calculated by Shi et al.are incomplete within both theories,except the low values of frequencies for the MFT calculation.We also investigate the influence of external field frequency(ω) and static external field amplitude(h0) for both MFT and EFT calculations.We find that the behaviour of the system strongly depends on the values of ω and h0.Bayram Deviren Osman Canko Mustafa Keskin 2010Chinese Physics B2010,19,5:1

10The Allelopathic Effects of Sunflower and Wheat Root Exudates on Sinapis arvensis and Sinapis alba显示文摘In this study,we aimed to investigate the allelopathic effects of sunflower and wheat root exudates on the common weeds such as wild mustard and white mustard in our region.The root exudates which were obtained by soaking 8 weeks old sunflower and wheat seedlings(20 or 40 seedlings)in 100 mL of distilled water for 3 days were applied to the leaves of wild mustard and white mustard.In order to compare the allelopathic effect,the recommended dose(1 g.da^(-1))and twice the recommended dose(2 g.da^(-1))of Gromstor(Tribenuron-methyl),a herbicide preferred by farmers for the chemical control of these weeds was also applied.The allelopathy was performed for wild mustard and white mustard seedlings by the measurement of different physiological and biochemical parameters,such as chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,total chlorophyll,carotenoid,proline,total protein amounts and superoxide dismutase enzyme activity.The amounts of total chl and carotenoid in wild mustard leaves decreased in all treatment groups compared to control.The highest decrease in total chl(50.93%)and carotenoid(46.69%)was oberved in the treatment of 40 wheat seedlings.100 mL^(-1) distilled water.In the white mustard leaves,the amount of total chl in all treatment groups except the treatment group of Gromstor 2 g.da^(-1) and carotenoid in all treatment groups increased compared to the control.The highest increases again were observed in 40 wheat seedlings.100 mL^(-1) distilled water treatment.The proline amounts in wild mustard and white mustard increased in all treatment groups.The highest increase was observed for the treatment of 20 wheat seedlings.100 mL^(-1) distilled water in wild mustard(459.69%)and 40 sunflower seedlings.100 mL^(-1) distilled water in white mustard plant(104.70%).In superoxide dismutase enzyme activities,treatments decreased activity except treatment of 40 sunflower seedling root exudate in wild mustard,while increased activity outside commercial herbicide treatment in white mustard.The results showed that sunflower and wheat root exudates have allelopathic effects on wild mustard and white mustard weeds.It is thought that the study will be a reference for new studies that will enable the use of plant root exudates as bioherbicides or foliar fertilizers and will contribute to the fight against weeds in organic agriculture.Bengu Turkyilmaz Unal Mustafa Bayram 2019Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2019,88,4:1

12Effects of primary suture and fibrin sealant on hemostasis and liver regeneration in an experimental liver injury显示文摘AIM: To investigate the effects of fibrin sealant on hemostasis and liver regeneration and intra-abdominal adhesions in an experimental liver injury. METHODS: Thirty-six Wistar rats were randomly divided into primary suture group (n = 15), fibrin sealant group (n = 15) and control group (n = 6). A wedge resection was performed on the left lobe of the liver. In primary suture group, liver was sutured using polypropylene material, while fibrin glue was administrated on the liver surface in fibrin sealant group. RESULTS: More intra-abdominal adhesions were observed in the primary suture group compared to the fibrin sealant group on 3rd (2.50 ± 0.5 vs 0.25 ± 0.5, P = 0.015), 10th (2.75 ± 0.5 vs 0.50 ± 0.6, P = 0.06) and 20th (1.75 ± 0.5 vs 0.70 ± 0.5, P = 0.015) postoperative days. Histopathological scores were better in the fibrin sealant group in comparison with the primary suture group on 3rd (8.75 ± 0.5 vs 6.75 ± 0.5, P = 0.006), 10th (7.50 ± 1.0 vs 5.5 ± 0.6, P = 0.021) and 20th (6.40 ± 1.7 vs 3.20 ± 1.6, P = 0.025) postoperative days. 13Traveling wave structures of some fourth-order nonlinear partial differential equations显示文摘This study presents a large family of the traveling wave solutions to the two fourth-order nonlinear partial differential equations utilizing the Riccati-Bernoulli sub-ODE method.In this method,utilizing a traveling wave transformation with the aid of the Riccati-Bernoulli equation,the fourth-order equation can be transformed into a set of algebraic equations.Solving the set of algebraic equations,we acquire the novel exact solutions of the integrable fourth-order equations presented in this research paper.The physical interpretation of the nonlinear models are also detailed through the exact solutions,which demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented method.The Bäcklund transformation can produce an infinite sequence of solutions of the given two fourth-order nonlinear partial differential equations.Finally,3D graphs of some derived solutions in this paper are depicted through suitable parameter values.Handenur Esen Neslihan Ozdemir Aydin Secer Mustafa Bayram 2023Journal of Ocean Engineering and Science2023,8,2:0
14Rates and associates of influenza and pneumococcus vaccination in diabetes mellitus:A nationwide cross-sectional study(TEMD vaccination study)显示文摘BACKGROUND Vaccination against influenza and pneumococcus is effective in reducing morbidity and mortality in patients with diabetes.AIM To investigate the prevalence of influenza and pneumococcal vaccinations and to search for the independent associates of vaccination in Turkish patients with diabetes.METHODS In this cross-sectional,nationwide,multicenter study,adult patients with type 1 diabetes(T1DM)(n=454)and type 2 diabetes(T2DM)(n=4721),who were under follow-up for at least a year in the outpatient clinics,were consecutively enrolled.Sociodemographic,clinical,and laboratory parameters of patients were recorded.Vaccination histories were documented according to the self-statements of the patients.RESULTS Patients with T1DM and T2DM had similar vaccination rates for influenza(23.6%vs 21.2%;P=0.240)and pneumococcus(8%vs 7%;P=0.451)vaccinations.Longer diabetes duration and older age were the common independent associates of having vaccination for both types of diabetes patients.Higher education level,using statin treatment,and having optimal hemoglobin A1c levels were the common independent associates of influenza and pneumococcal vaccination in patients with T2DM.CONCLUSION TEMD Vaccination Study shows that patients with T1DM and T2DM had very low influenza and pneumococcal vaccination rates in Turkey.The lower rates of vaccination in certain populations urges the necessity of nationwide vaccination strategies targeting these populations.Ibrahim Demirci Cem Haymana Serpil Salman Ilker Tasci Demet Corapcioglu Ali Kirik İlhan Yetkin Mustafa Altay Tevfik Sabuncu Fahri Bayram Ilhan Satman Alper Sonmez 2021World Journal of Diabetes2021,12,12:0
15Phase diagrams in mixed spin-3/2 and spin-2 Ising system with two alternative layers within the effective-field theory显示文摘The phase diagrams in the mixed spin-3/2 and spin-2 Ising system with two alternative layers on a honeycomb lattice are investigated and discussed by the use of the effective-field theory with correlations. The interaction of the nearest-neighbour spins of each layer is taken to be positive (ferromagnetic interaction) and the interaction of the adjacent spins of the nearest-neighbour layers is considered to be either positive or negative (ferromagnetic or anti-ferromagnetic interaction). The temperature dependence of the layer magnetizations of the system is examined to characterize the nature (continuous or discontinuous) of the phase transitions and obtain the phase transition temperatures. The system exhibits both second-and first-order phase transitions besides triple point (T P ), critical end point (E), multicritical point (A), isolated critical point (C) and reentrant behaviour depending on the interaction parameters. We have also studied the temperature dependence of the total magnetization to find the compensation points, as well as to determine the type of behaviour, and N-type behaviour in N′eel classification nomenclature existing in the system. 16Two-wave,breather wave solutions and stability analysis to the(2+1)-dimensional Ito equation显示文摘The current study employs the novel Hirota bilinear scheme to investigate the nonlinear model.Thus,we acquire some two-wave and breather wave solutions to the governing equation.Breathers are pulsating localized structures that have been used to mimic extreme waves in a variety of nonlinear dispersive media with a narrow banded starting process.Several recent investigations,on the other hand,imply that breathers can survive in more complex habitats,such as random seas,despite the attributed physical restrictions.The authenticity and genuineness of all the acquired solutions agreed with the original equation.In order to shed more light on these novel solutions,we plot the 3-dimensional and contour graphs to the reported solutions with some suitable values.The governing model is also stable because of the idea of linear stability.The study’s findings may help explain the physics behind some of the challenges facing ocean engineers.Tukur Abdulkadir Sulaiman Abdullahi Yusuf Evren Hincal Dumitru Baleanu Mustafa Bayram 2022Journal of Ocean Engineering and Science2022,7,5:0
