| 1 | Enhancement of room-temperature magnetoresistance in La_(0.5)Sm_(0.2)Sr_(0.3)MnO_3/(Ag_2O)_(x/2)显示文摘La0.5Sm0.2Sr0.3MnO3/(Ag2O)x/2 (x = 0.00, 0.04, 0.08, 0.25, 0.30) samples were prepared by the solid-state reaction method, and their transport behaviors, transport mechanism, and magnetoresistance effect were studied through the measurement and fitting of ρ-T curves. The results show that the element Ag takes part in reaction when the doping amount is small. Ag is mainly distributed at the grain boundary of the host material and is in metallic state when the doping amount is relatively large; then the system becomes a two-phase composite. A small amount of Ag doping can apparently increase grain-boundary magnetoresistance induced by the spin-dependent scattering. | 2 | Enhancement of room-temperature magnetoresistance in La_(0.6)Dy_(0.1)Sr_(0.3)MnO_3/Ag_x显示文摘The samples of La0.6Dy0.1Sr0.3MnO3/(Ag2O)x/2(x = 0.00, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, 0.10, 0.20, 0.25, and 0.30) were prepared by using the solid-state reaction method.Their magnetic property, transport behavior, transport mechanism and magnetoresistance effect were studied through the measurements of magnetization-temperature(M-T) curves, ρ-T curves and the fitting of ρ-T curves.The results indicated that Ag could take part in the reaction when the doping amount is small.However, when the doping amount is comparatively large, Ag as metallic state mainly deposits on the grain boundary of La0.6Dy0.1Sr0.3MnO3, and then the system forms a two-phase composite.When the Ag doping amount is 30% mole ratio, the resistivity of the sample is one order of magnitude smaller than that of low doped samples, and its peak of magnetoresistance at 292 K and in the magnetic field of 0.2 T strengthens apparently and reaches 16.3%, which is over 7 times as large as 2.2% of La0.6Dy0.1Sr0.3MnO3.The two-phase composite system of magnetoresistance based on perovskite manganite consists of two parts:intrinsic magnetoresistance and extrinsic magnetoresistance.However, extrinsic magnetoresistance comes from spin-dependent scattering(SDS) and spin-polarized tunneling(SPT).Magnetoresistance near TC increases due to the contribution of intrinsic magnetoresistance and extrinsic magnetoresistance formed by SDS, and magnetoresistance at low temperature is extrinsic magnetoresistance formed by SPT. | SONG Qixiang NIU Xiaofei WANG Guiying TANG Yonggang CAI Zhirang PENG Zhensheng | 2010 | Rare Metals2010,29,2: | 10 |

| 4 | Geochemical characteristics of hadal sediment in the northern Yap Trench显示文摘Two sediment cores were retrieved in the hadal zone of the Yap Trench,and their concentrations of six major elements Mg,Al,Ca,Ti,Mn and Fe and nine trace elements Sr,Ba,Pb,V,Cr,Co,Ni,Cu and Zn were determined in inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES).According to the vertical distribution profiles of the 15 elements,the correlation of their concentrations,the ratios of Ni/Co,V/Cr,Fe/Al,and Ti/Al,and morphological characteristics of the sediment samples,the implications of the depositional environment and the sediment provenance were analyzed.The results show that the ratio of Ni/Co in all depths of the two sediment cores were below 5,and the ratio of V/Cr were lower than 2,indicating that the depositional environment of the hadal zone in the trench was oxidative and might have inflow of the Antarctic bottom oxygen-rich water.The sediment samples on the eastern side of the trench were siliceous mud mainly composed of diatoms,radiolarian,and sponge needles from surface to deep layer.The vertical profile of the elements,the concentration of TOC and the fossil record indicated that the sediment sample from station Dive113 was well mixed from surface to bottom layer.Based on the correlation of concentrations of the elements,the morphological characteristics of the sediment,and the ratios of Fe/Al and Ti/Al,we inferred that the sediment in the hadal zone of the trench had terrestrial,volcanic,biological,and authigenic sources.Major source of the sediment in the eastern side of the trench were terrestrial;whereas the sediment in the western side of the trench received more volcaniclastic input. | HUANG Yuhuan SUN Chengjun YANG Guipeng YUE Xin’an JIANG Fenghua CAO Wei YIN Xiaofei GUO Chaonan NIU Jiaohong DING Haibing | 2020 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,3: | 3 |

| 9 | Characteristics of total suspended particulates in the atmosphere of Yulong Snow Mountain,southwestern China显示文摘The measurement of black carbon(BC) and organic carbon(OC), dust in total suspended particulates(TSP) was carried out at Yulong Snow Mountain(Mt. Yulong) and Ganhaizi Basin, in the Mt. Yulong region, southwestern China. TSP samples were analyzed using a thermal/optical reflectance carbon analyzer. Results show that average BC and OC concentrations in TSP in the Mt. Yulong region were 1.61±1.15 μg/m3 and 2.96±1.59 μg/m3, respectively. Statistical results demonstrated that there were significant differences in mean BC and OC contents between Ganhaizi Basin and Mt. Yulong at the 0.05 level. Strong correlations between BC and OC indicate their common dominant emission sources and transport processes. Temporal variations of BC, OC, and optical attenuation(ATN) values were consistent with each other in carbonaceous aerosols. The ratios of OC/BC in monsoon season were significantly higher than in non-monsoon in aerosols from Ganhaizi, which is closely related to the formation of secondary organic carbon(SOC) and extensive motor vehicle emissions from tourism activities. The temporal variations of BC, OC and ATN in carbonaceous aerosols in Ganhaizi and Mt. Yulong were totally different, probably due to elevation difference and diverse tourism activity intensity between the two sites. Time-averaged aerosol optical depth(AOD) at the wavelength of 550 nm in Mt. Yulong was higher than that of the inland of the Tibetan Plateau(TP). Source apportionment indicated that intensive exhaust emissions from tourism vehicles were the main local sources of atmospheric pollutant in the Mt. Yulong region. Biomass-burning emissions released from South Asia could penetrate into the inland of the TP under the transport of summer monsoon. | 10 | Deletion of Glutl in early postnatal cartilage reprograms chondrocytes toward enhanced glutamine oxidation显示文摘Glucose metabolism is fundamental for the functions of all tissues,including cartilage.Despite the emerging evidence related to glucose metabolism in the regulation of prenatal cartilage development,little is known about the role of glucose metabolism and its biochemical basis in postnatal cartilage growth and homeostasis.We show here that genetic deletion of the glucose transporter Glutl in postnatal cartilage impairs cell proliferation and matrix production in growth plate(GPs)but paradoxically increases cartilage remnants in the metaphysis,resulting in shortening of long bones.On the other hand,articular cartilage(AC)with Glutl deficiency presents diminished cellularity and loss of proteoglycans,which ultimately progress to cartilage fibrosis.Moreover,predisposition to Glutl deficiency severely exacerbates injury-induced osteoarthritis.Regardless of the disparities in glucose metabolism between GP and AC chondrocytes under normal conditions,both types of chondrocytes demonstrate metabolic plasticity to enhance glutamine utilization and oxidation in the absence of glucose availability.However,uncontrolled glutamine flux causes collagen overmodification,thus affecting extracellular matrix remodeling in both cartilage compartments.These results uncover the pivotal and distinct roles of Glutl-mediated glucose metabolism in two of the postnatal cartilage compartments and link some cartilage abnormalities to altered glucose/glutamine metabolism. | Cuicui Wang Jun Ying Xiangfeng Niu Xiaofei Li Gary J.Patti Jie Shen Regis J.O’Keefe | 2021 | Bone Research2021,9,4: | 0 |

| 12 | Application of artificial hibernation technology in acute brain injury显示文摘Controlling intracranial pressure,nerve cell regeneration,and microenvironment regulation are the key issues in reducing mortality and disability in acute brain injury.There is currently a lack of effective treatment methods.Hibernation has the characteristics of low temperature,low metabolism,and hibernation rhythm,as well as protective effects on the nervous,cardiovascular,and motor systems.Artificial hibernation technology is a new technology that can effectively treat acute brain injury by altering the body’s metabolism,lowering the body’s core temperature,and allowing the body to enter a state similar to hibernation.This review introduces artificial hibernation technology,including mild hypothermia treatment technology,central nervous system regulation technology,and artificial hibernation-inducer technology.Upon summarizing the relevant research on artificial hibernation technology in acute brain injury,the research results show that artificial hibernation technology has neuroprotective,anti-inflammatory,and oxidative stress-resistance effects,indicating that it has therapeutic significance in acute brain injury.Furthermore,artificial hibernation technology can alleviate the damage of ischemic stroke,traumatic brain injury,cerebral hemorrhage,cerebral infarction,and other diseases,providing new strategies for treating acute brain injury.However,artificial hibernation technology is currently in its infancy and has some complications,such as electrolyte imbalance and coagulation disorders,which limit its use.Further research is needed for its clinical application. | Xiaoni Wang Shulian Chen Xiaoyu Wang Zhen Song Ziqi Wang Xiaofei Niu Xiaochu Chen Xuyi Chen | 2024 | Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,9: | 0 |
| 13 | Invasive Spartina alterniflora accelerates the increase in microbial nitrogen fixation over nitrogen removal in coastal wetlands of China显示文摘Salt marsh plants play a vital role in mediating nitrogen(N)biogeochemical cycle in estuarine and coastal ecosystems.However,the effects of invasive Spartina alterniflora on N fixation and removal,as well as how these two processes balance to determine the N budget,remain unclear.Here,simultaneous quantifications of N fixation and removal via^(15)N tracing experiment with native Phragmites australis,invasive S.alterniflora,and bare flats as well as corresponding functional gene abundance by qPCR were carried out to explore the response of N dynamics to S.alterniflora invasion.Our results showed that N fixation and removal rates ranged from 0.77±0.08 to 16.12±1.13 nmol/(g·h)and from 1.42±0.14 to 16.35±1.10 nmol/(g·h),respectively,and invasive S.alterniflora generally facilitated the two processes rates.Based on the difference between N removal and fixation rates,net N_(2)fluxes were estimated in the range of-0.39±0.14 to 8.24±2.23 nmol/(g·h).Estimated net N_(2)fluxes in S.alterniflora stands were lower than those in bare flats and P.australis stands,indicating that the increase in N removal caused by S.alterniflora invasion may be more than offset by N fixation process.Random forest analysis revealed that functional microorganisms were the most important factor associated with the corresponding N transformation process.Overall,our results highlight the importance of N fixation in evaluating N budget of estuarine and coastal wetlands,providing valuable insights into the ecological effect of S.alterniflora invasion. | Shuntao Chen Dengzhou Gao Xiaofei Li Yuhui Niu Cheng Liu Dongyao Sun Yanling Zheng Hongpo Dong Xia Liang Guoyu Yin Xianbiao Lin Min Liu Lijun Hou | 2023 | Eco-Environment & Health2023,2,3: | 0 |
