1Microbiota modulates gut immunity and promotes baculovirus infection in Helicoverpa armigera显示文摘Baculoviruses are natural enemies of agricultural and forest insect pests and play an important role in biological pest control.Oral infection by baculovirus in the insect midgut is necessary for establishing systemic infection and eventually killing the insect.Since the insect midgut continuously encounters microbiota,the gut microbiota could affect baculovirus infection.Here,we demonstrated that gut microbiota modulates immune responses and promotes baculovirus infection in the cotton bollworm,Helicoverpa armigera.After oral infection,numerous host immunity-related genes including genes encoding Toll and immune deficiency(IMD)pathway components were upregulated in the midgut.Elimination of the gut microbiota significantly increased the resistance to viral infection in H.armigera.Quantitative real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction and proteomic analysis showed that downregulation of the antiviral factor prophenoloxidase(PPO)could be mediated by microbiota during infection.It implied that midgut microbiota diminishes the expression of PPO to facilitate viral infection in H.armigera.Our findings revealed that the microbiota plays an important role in modulating the resistance of H.armigera to baculovirus infection,providing new insights in applying biopesticide.Chuanfei Yuan Longsheng Xing Manli Wang Zhihong Hu Zhen Zou 2021Insect Science2021,28,6:1

3The hydrogenmigration in cryogenic tubes of superconductive accelerator with gas source显示文摘Background In superconductive linear accelerator,the performance and stability can be impacted by gas adsorbed on cryogenic surfaces adversely.The cryogenic devices usually work at 4.2 K or 1.9 K and are refrigerated by normal or super fluid liquid helium,respectively.Purpose The purpose of this paper is to study the character of gas migration in cryogenic tubes.Method Adsorption coefficient for hydrogen at 4.2 K is measured by experimental study.Then,a gas migration model is established based on the experimental results to depict the hydrogen migration process in cryogenic tubes.Results The experimental results and model analysis indicated that at cryogenic temperature(4.2 K),adsorption coefficient for hydrogen is very close to 1,which is several orders higher than the adsorption coefficient at room temperature,resulting in a unique pressure distribution pattern in cryogenic tubes when compared with the pressure distribution in room temperature tubes.Conclusions At 4.2 K or 1.9 K,the gas migration process is obviously different from the process at room temperature and is significantly affected by the gas adsorption on the cryogenic surfaces.The model established in this article can be applied not only to hydrogen migration in cryogenic tubes but also to other gas migration in tubes with high adsorption coefficient.Chuanfei Hu Feng Bai Wanhong Guo Yukui Yin Yugang Zhao Junhui Zhang 2019Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2019,3,2:0
46-31 Progress of Cryogenic System in 2014显示文摘During the year of 2014, the work of cryogenic group was mainly focused on operation of refrigerator system,test of TCM1, design and machining of HCM6. At the end of 2014 refrigerator system has achieved closed-loopoperation and recycle of helium gas, which did great contribution to superconducting cavity and superconductingmagnet test. 7低温表面气体吸附实验研究显示文摘In superconducting linear accelerator(LINAC),the performance and stability can be adversely impacted by gas adsorbed on cryogenic surfaces.Adsorption capacity and peculiarity of adsorption process on cryogenic niobium material surface are measured in order to improve the performance and stability of superconductive accelerator.The results and analysis(Fig.1-4)in this paper indicate:firstly,the saturated vapor pressure of hydrogen and helium is much higher than the maximum allowable value for superconductive LINAC operation,secondly,at cryogenic temperature,such as 4 K,it is the gas adsorption amount that determines the pressure,thirdly,pressure will not arise until single monolayer accomplished,it may take a long time.Hu Chuanfei Zhang Junhui 2017IMP & HIRFL Annual Report2017,,1:0
