2Edge Bundling in Information Visualization显示文摘The edge, which can encode relational data in graphs and multidimensional data in parallel coordinates plots, is an important visual primitive for encoding data in information visualization research. However, when data become very large, visualizations often suffer from visual clutter as thousands of edges can easily overwhelm the display and obscure underlying patterns. Many edge-bundling techniques have been proposed to reduce visual clutter in visualizations. In this survey, we briefly introduce the visual-clutter problem in visualizations. Thereafter, we review the cost-based, geometry-based, and image-based edge-bundling methods for graphs, parallel coordinates, and flow maps. We then describe the various visualization applications that use edge-bundling techniques and discuss the evaluation studies concerning the effectiveness of edge-bundling methods. 3Virus-induced Phytoene Desaturase(PDS) Gene Silencing Using Tobacco Rattle Virus in Lilium × formolongi显示文摘Gene function analysis is challenging for Lilium due to the lack of an efficient method for stable genetic transformation. Virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS) is an attractive tool for determining gene function in plants. This study reported that Tobacco rattle virus(TRV)-based VIGS of a PHYTOENE DESATURASE(PDS) ortholog(LhPDS) can be achieved in Lilium × formolongi seedlings, with a survival rate of 92%, using the inoculation method of rubbing plus injection. Compared with untreated and mock-treated seedlings, the photobleached leaf phenotype of silenced plants significantly correlates with down-regulation of endogenous LhPDS(P ≤ 0.05). In addition, the silencing phenomenon can be observed in the growing points of plants, indicating that systemic viral infection was achieved using the protocol. The results indicate that TRV-based VIGS can be used to characterize gene function in Lilium × formolongi. 4Polydopamine and ammonium bicarbonate coated and doxorubicin loaded hollow cerium oxide nanoparticles for synergistic tumor therapy显示文摘The development of effective nanoplatforms is extremely necessary for cancer therapy.Herein,we prepared polydopamine(PDA)andammonium bicarbonate(NH4HCO3)coated and doxorubicin(Dox)loaded hollow cerium oxide(CeO2)NPs(PDAC NPs),which showedexcellent synergistic effect for photothermal therapy,chemotherapy and chemodynamic therapy.Under near infrared laser irradiation,PDA shell could absorb the incident light and convert it into heat,which could not only kill tumor cells with hyperthermia,but also trigger thedecomposition of NH4HCO3 into gaseous carbon dioxide and ammonia,leading to the destroy of PDA shell.The leakage of PDA furtheraccelerated Dox release and exposed CeO2 surface,in which Dox could enter into cell nucleus to induce chemotherapy,and CeO2 couldcatalyze cellular hydrogen peroxide into hydroxyl radical to present chemodynamic therapy.In fact,PDAC NPs showed an excellenttherapeutic efficacy both in vitro and in vivo.This design provides a new strategy for synergistic tumor therapy.Keqiang Xu Yan Cheng Jiao Yan Yanlin Feng Runxiao Zheng Xiaqhig Wu Yanjing Wang Panpan Song Haiyuan Zhang 2019Nano Research2019,12,12:4

8Hierarchical porous MgBO_2(OH) microspheres: Hydrothermal synthesis,thermal decomposition, and application as adsorbents for Congo red removal显示文摘A facile eco-friendly hydrothermal route(180 °C, 12.0 h) has been developed for the first time to the uniform hierarchical porous MgBO_2(OH) microspheres without the aid of any organic additive, surfactant or template, by using the abundant MgCl_2·6 H_2 O, H_3BO_3 and NaOH as the raw materials. The as-obtained porous microspheres exhibit a specific surface area of 94.752 mg·g^(-1), pore volume of 0.814 cm3·g^(-1), and ca. 84.0% of which have a diameter of 2.25–3.40 μm. The thermal decomposition of the porous MgBO_2(OH) microspheres(650 °C,2.5 °C·min^(-1)) leads to the porous Mg_2B_2O_5 microspheres with well-retained morphology. When utilized as the adsorbents for the removal of CR from mimic waste water, the present porous MgBO_2(OH) microspheres exhibit satisfactory adsorption capacity, with the maximum adsorption capacity q^(-1) mof 309.1 mg·g, much higher than that derived from most of the referenced adsorbents. 9Influence mechanism of boron segregation on the microstructure evolution and hot ductility of super austenitic stainless steel S32654显示文摘Influence mechanism of B segregation on the microstructure evolution and hot ductility of S32654 at850-1250℃was systematically investigated through experimental research and theoretical calculation.The results demonstrated that the segregation of B at grain boundary(GB)played different roles in the microstructure evolution and hot ductility at various temperatures.At 850℃,B segregation inhibited Mo segregation at the GB and enhanced the GB cohesion.At 900-950℃,B segregation restricted the diffusion and segregation of Mo to the GB,inhibiting the precipitation ofσphase.At 1000-1050℃,B segregation accelerated the dislocation accumulation and limited the GB migration,promoting the nucleation and inhibiting the growth of DRX grains.At 1100-1150℃,B has little effect on the DRX due to sufficient energy supply by higher temperature.Under the above beneficial effects of B,the hot ductility of S32654 was improved to varying degrees at 850-1150℃.However,as the temperature increased to1200-1250℃,B segregation decreased the solidus temperature and enhanced the liquefaction cracking tendency,resulting in a deterioration of the hot ductility.Jiangtao Yu Shucai Zhang Huabing Li Zhouhua Jiang Hao Feng Panpan Xu Peide Han 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,17:2
10A garnet-electrolyte based molten Li-I_(2) battery with high performance显示文摘Lithium-iodine(Li-I_(2))battery exhibits high potential to match with high-rate property and large energy density.However,problems of the system,such as evident sublimation of iodine elements,dissolution of iodine species in electrolyte,and lithium anode corrosion,prevent the practical use of rechargeable Li-I_(2)batteries.In this work,a molten Li-I_(2)typical cell design which has distinct advantages based on the solid-state garnet electrolyte with the eutectic iodate cathode is firstly developed.The U-shaped ceramic electrolyte tube can separate Li anode from the eutectic iodate cathode,so as to better tackle the above-mentioned inherent challenges for the liquid electrolyte systems.Without self-discharging and lithium anode corrosion,this solid-state battery system demonstrates high safety margin and excellent electrochemical performance.Also,the simple battery structure also indicates the easy assembly process and recycling of electrode materials.With the cathode loading of 593 mg in a single cell,an energy density of~506.7 Wh·kg^(-1)was achieved at 1 C and a long-term cycling life for 2,000 cycles also displays negligible capacity decay.Bin Sun Panpan Wang Jing Xu Qianzheng Jin Zili Zhang Hui Wu Yang Jin 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:2
11Tunable Dynamic Black Phosphorus/Insulator/Si Heterojunction Direct-Current Generator Based on the Hot Electron Transport显示文摘Static heterojunction-based electronic devices have been widely applied because carrier dynamic processes between semiconductors can be designed through band gap engineering.Herein,we demonstrate a tunable direct-current generator based on the dynamic heterojunction,whose mechanism is based on breaking the symmetry of drift and diffusion currents and rebounding hot carrier transport in dynamic heterojunctions.Furthermore,the output voltage can be delicately adjusted and enhanced with the interface energy level engineering of inserting dielectric layers.Under the ultrahigh interface electric field,hot electrons will still transfer across the interface through the tunneling and hopping effect.In particular,the intrinsic anisotropy of black phosphorus arising from the lattice structure produces extraordinary electronic,transport,and mechanical properties exploited in our dynamic heterojunction generator.Herein,the voltage of 6.1 V,current density of 124.0 A/m^(2),power density of 201.0 W/m^(2),and energy-conversion efficiency of 31.4%have been achieved based on the dynamic black phosphorus/AlN/Si heterojunction,which can be used to directly and synchronously light up light-emitting diodes.This direct-current generator has the potential to convert ubiquitous mechanical energy into electric energy and is a promising candidate for novel portable and miniaturized power sources in the in situ energy acquisition field.Yanghua Lu Sirui Feng Runjiang Shen Yujun Xu Zhenzhen Hao Yanfei Yan Haonan Zheng Xutao Yu Qiuyue Gao Panpan Zhang Shisheng Lin 2019Research2019,,1:2

14An improved bearing fault detection strategy based on artificial bee colony algorithm显示文摘The operating state of bearing affects the performance of rotating machinery;thus,how to accurately extract features from the original vibration signals and recognise the faulty parts as early as possible is very critical.In this study,the one‐dimensional ternary model which has been proved to be an effective statistical method in feature selection is introduced and shapelet transformation is proposed to calculate the parameter of one‐dimensional ternary model that is usually selected by trial and error.Then XGBoost is used to recognise the faults from the obtained features,and artificial bee colony algorithm(ABC)is introduced to optimise the parameters of XGBoost.Moreover,for improving the performance of intelligent algorithm,an improved strategy where the evolution is guided by the probability that the optimal solution appears in certain solution space is proposed.The experimental results based on the failure vibration signal samples show that the average accuracy of fault signal recognition can reach 97%,which is much higher than the ones corresponding to traditional extraction strategies.And with the help of improved ABC algorithm,the performance of XGBoost classifier could be optimised;the accuracy could be improved from 97.02%to 98.60%compared with the traditional classification strategy.Haiquan Wang Wenxuan Yue Shengjun Wen Xiaobin Xu Hans-Dietrich Haasis Menghao Su Ping liu Shanshan Zhang Panpan Du 2022CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2022,7,4:1
15A meta-analysis of the effects of statins on serum C-reactive protein in Chinese population with coronary heart disease or hyperlipidemia显示文摘There is little doubt that statins reduce cardiovascular events more than what the lipid lowering effect can account for. Additional mechanisms have been postulated including the anti-inflammatory effects manifested by reduced C-reactive protein (CRP). It is not known, however, whether statins can decrease CRP in Chinese population. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of statins on serum CRP in Chinese patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) or hyperlipidemia. Trials were retrieved through Medline (1980 to May, 2009), bibliographies, and the author’s reference files limited to English-language articles. Data were extracted and meta-analysis was performed. Analysis showed statistically significant reduction in CRP after statin treatment (weighted mean difference [WMD] = -0.73, 95% confidence interval [CI] = [-0.80, -0.66], P < 0.00001) and lower CRP after statin treatment than non-statin routine treatment ([WMD] = -0.52, 95% CI [-0.86, -0.18], P = 0.002). 16Multi-objective and multi-scheme research on water and sediment regulation potential of reservoirs in the upper Yellow River显示文摘The problems of the deteriorating relation between water and sediment,and the escalating conflict between water supply and demand in the upper Yellow River(YR),need to be addressed.Reservoirs of Longyangxia,Liujiaxia,and Heishanxia(Long-Liu-Hei)in the upper YR are taken as the research object,and a multi-objective,water-sediment optimal operation model for cascade reservoirs Long-Liu-Hei has been developed.This operation model considers the comprehensive requirements of water supply,power generation,flood control,and especially,water and sediment regulation.The improved Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithms(NSGA-II)method is used to demonstrate the water and sediment regulation potential of three scenario schemes under long-term conditions,and the adjustable water allocation of four schemes under typical year conditions are calculated.It is recommended to use the mode of generating hydropower depending on the available water amount as the best operating mode under the conditions of a long time series and for typical years.This recommended operation mode has verified the rationality and accuracy of the reservoir operations model.At the same time,compared with the calculation results for water and sediment regulation after the construction of the Heishanxia,the current research indicates:(1)Under the recommended model,the potential for water and sediment regulation under the long-term series and typical years is once every four years.(2)Inter-basin water transfer greatly improves the cascade power generation.When the adjustable water volume is converted into the controlled volume for water and sediment regulation,the intensity frequency of water and sediment regulation of cascade reservoirs are improved.(3)With the intensification of the contradiction between the supply of and demand for water resources in the upper YR in the future,the amount of transferable water exhibits a decreasing trend,and the regulation of water and sediment in the upper YR is facing huge challenges.(4)Through joint operation with the Longyangxia and Liujiaxia reservoirs(Long-Liu),Heishanxia will play an important role in the regulation and control of power generation,water supply,flood control,and ice prevention in the upper YR.The current research results can provide a theoretical basis and technical support for water and sediment regulation in the YR basin.Tao Bai Jia Yu Wenting Jin Jiaquan Wan Shaojie Gou Xu Ma Panpan Ma 2023International Journal of Sediment Research2023,38,2:1

18Facile hydrothermal-thermal conversion synthesis of CaSiO_3 nanowires as promising structure and function integrated photoluminescent host candidate显示文摘A facile green low-cost controllable hydrothermal-thermal conversion(HTC) process for the uniform high aspect ratio CaSiO_3 nanowires has been developed using abundant CaCl_2·2H_2O and Na_2 SiO_3·9H_2O as raw materials without any organic additive. 19Implementation technology of Kirchhoff demigration显示文摘Demigration refers to directly applying a specific imaging technique to a migrated section. It is applied primarily to seismic data mapping. In a previous research study,a time-efficient implementation technology of demigration was expounded. In the present study,the Fast Marching Method( FMM) used for traveltime computation in the isochrone-stack demigration,is developed. Furthermore,other key techniques( such as selection of aperture and antialiasing filtering factor) are analyzed in detail. Besides,the detail implementation method and program flow are given,which is shown their good computational efficiency and high-quality demigration effect. This implementation technique is illustrated with both the V( z) model and Marmousi model. 20Region-wide glacier area and mass budgets for the Shaksgam River Basin,Karakoram Mountains,during 2000–2016显示文摘The Karakoram Mountains are well known for their widespread surge-type glaciers and slight glacier mass gains.On the one hand,glaciers are one of the sensitive indicators of climate change,their area and thickness will adjust with climate change.On the other hand,glaciers provide freshwater resources for agricultural irrigation and hydroelectric generation in the downstream areas of the Shaksgam River Basin(SRB)in western China.The shrinkage of glaciers caused by climate change can significantly affect the security and sustainable development of regional water resources.In this study,we analyzed the changes in glacier area from 2000 to 2016 in the SRB using Landsat TM(Thematic Mapper)/ETM+(Enhanced Mapper Plus)/OLI(Operational Land Imager)images.It is shown that the SRB contained 472 glaciers,with an area of 1840.3 km2,in 2016.The glacier area decreased by 0.14%/a since 2000,and the shrinkage of glacier in the southeast,east and south directions were the most,while the northeast,north directions were the least.Debris-covered area accounted for 8.0%of the total glacier area.We estimated elevation and mass changes using the 1 arc-second SRTM(Shuttle Radar Topography Mission)DEM(Digital Elevation Model)(2000)and the resolution of 8 m HMA(High Mountain Asia)DEM(2016).An average thickness of 0.08(±0.03)m/a,or a slight mass increase of 0.06(±0.02)m w.e./a has been obtained since 2000.We found thinning was significantly lesser on the clean ice than the debris-covered ice.In addition,the elevation of glacier surface is spatially heterogeneous,showing that the accumulation of mass is dominant in high altitude regions,and the main mass loss is in low altitude regions,excluding the surge-type glacier.For surge-type glaciers,the mass may transfer from the reservoir to the receiving area rapidly when surges,then resulting in an advance of glacier terminus.The main surge mechanism is still unclear,it is worth noting that the surge did not increase the glacier mass in this study.WANG Panpan LI Zhongqin XU Chunhai WANG Puyu 2021Journal of Arid Land2021,13,2:1
