| 2 | Prediction of coronavirus 3C-like protease cleavage sites using machine-learning algorithms显示文摘The coronavirus 3C-like(3CL)protease,a cysteine protease,plays an important role in viral infection and immune escape.However,there is still a lack of effective tools for determining the cleavage sites of the 3CL protease.This study systematically investigated the diversity of the cleavage sites of the coronavirus 3CL protease on the viral polyprotein,and found that the cleavage motif were highly conserved for viruses in the genera of Alphacoronavirus,Betacoronavirus and Gammacoronavirus.Strong residue preferences were observed at the neighboring positions of the cleavage sites.A random forest(RF)model was built to predict the cleavage sites of the coronavirus 3CL protease based on the representation of residues in cleavage motifs by amino acid indexes,and the model achieved an AUC of 0.96 in cross-validations.The RF model was further tested on an independent test dataset which were composed of cleavage sites on 99 proteins from multiple coronavirus hosts.It achieved an AUC of 0.95 and predicted correctly 80%of the cleavage sites.Then,1,352 human proteins were predicted to be cleaved by the 3CL protease by the RF model.These proteins were enriched in several GO terms related to the cytoskeleton,such as the microtubule,actin and tubulin.Finally,a webserver named 3CLP was built to predict the cleavage sites of the coronavirus 3CL protease based on the RF model.Overall,the study provides an effective tool for identifying cleavage sites of the 3CL protease and provides insights into the molecular mechanism underlying the pathogenicity of coronaviruses. | Huiting Chen Zhaozhong Zhu Ye Qiu Xingyi Ge Heping Zheng Yousong Peng | 2022 | Virologica Sinica2022,37,3: | 1 |
| 3 | Li^(+)Solvation Mediated Interfacial Kinetic of Alloying Matrix for Stable Li Anodes显示文摘Severe lithium(Li)dendrite growth caused by the uneven overpotential deposition is a formidable challenge for high energy density Li metal batteries(LMBs).Herein,we investigate a synergetic interfacial kinetic to regulate Li deposition behavior and stabilize Li metal anode.Through constructing Li alloying matrix with a bi-functional silver(Ag)-Li_(3)N blended interface,fast Li^(+)conductivity and high Li affinity can be achieved simultaneously,resulting in both decreased Li nucleation and mass transfercontrolled overpotentials.Beyond these properties,a more important feature is demonstrated herein;that is,the inward diffusion depth of the Li adatoms inside of the Ag site can be restricted by the Li^(+)solvation structure in a highly coordinating environment.The latter feature can ensure the durability of the operational Ag sites,thereby elongating the Li protection ability of the Ag-Li_(3)N interface greatly.This work provides a deep insight into the synergetic effect of functional alloying structure and Li^(+)solvation mediated interfacial kinetic on Li metal protection. | Xingyi Wang Kailin Luo Lixin Xiong Tengpeng Xiong Zhendong Li Jie Sun Haiyong He Chuying Ouyang Zhe Peng | 2023 | Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,2: | 0 |
| 4 | A novel approach to authenticated group key transfer protocol based on AG codes显示文摘Group key management technique is a fundamental building block for secure and reliable group communication systems.In order to successfully achieve this goal, group session key needs to be generated and distributed to all group members in a secure and authenticated manner.The most commonly used method is based on Lagrange interpolating polynomial over the prime field F p={0,1,2,…, p-1}. A novel approach to group key transfer protocol based on a category of algebraic-geometry code is presented over the infinite field GF(2 m). The attractive advantages are obvious. Especially, the non-repeatability, confidentiality, and authentication of group key transfer protocols are obtained easily.
