1Alteration of cyclin D1 in gastric carcinoma and its clinicopathologic significance显示文摘AIM: To detect the genetic alteration and abnormal expression of cyclin D1 in gastric carcinoma and investigate its clinicopathologic significance in advanced gastric carcinoma. METHODS: Proteins of cyclin D1 were detected by immunohistochemistry in 42 cases of advanced gastric carcinoma with their follow-up data available, 27 cases of early stage carcinoma, 21 cases of gastric adenoma, 22 cases of hyperplastic polyp and 20 cases of normal mucosa adjacent to adenocarcinomas. Genetic alteration of cyclin D1 was detected by Southern blot and expression of cyclin D1 mRNA was detected by PT-PCR in 42 cases of advanced gastric carcinoma. RESULTS: Cyclin D1 protein was not expressed in normal mucosa, hyperplastic polyp and gastric adenoma, while it was only positively expressed in gastric carcinoma. The expression rate of cyclin D1 protein in early stage gastric carcinoma, advanced gastric carcinoma and lymph node metastasis was 48.1%, 47.4% and 50.0%, respectively. The amplification of cyclin D1 gene was detected in 16.6% of advanced gastric carcinomas. The overexpression of cyclin D1 mRNA was detected in 40.5% of the samples. There was no significant correlation between cyclin D1 protein expression and age, lymph-node metastasis and histological grading in patients with advanced gastric carcinoma (x^2=0.038,0.059,0.241, P>0.05). Significant correlation was observed between the expression of cyclin D1 protein and the 5-year survival rate (x^2=3.92, P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Detection of cyclin D1 protein by immunohistochemistry may be useful in the diagnosis of early gastric carcinomas. 2Rational design of nitrogen doped hierarchical porous carbon for optimized zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors are considered to be a promising candidate for large-scale energy storage devices owing to their high safety,long life,and low price.In this paper,a nitrogen doped hierarchical porous carbon is evaluated as the cathode for aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors.Benefiting from the synergistic merits of excellent structural features of N-HPC and tiny zinc dendrite of Zn anode in ZnSO4 electrolyte,the zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitor exhibits excellent energy storage performance including high capacity of 136.8 mAh·g^−1 at 0.1·Ag^−1,high energy density of 191 Wh·kg^−1,large power density of 3,633.4 W·kg^−1,and satisfactory cycling stability of up to 5,000 cycles with a capacity retention of 90.9%.This work presents a new prospect of developing high-performance aqueous rechargeable zinc ion energy storage devices.Penggao Liu Yang Gao Yangyang Tan Weifang Liu Yanping Huang Jun Yan Kaiyu Liu 2019Nano Research2019,12,11:10
3Expression of a Modified Cry1Ie Gene in E. coli and in Transgenic Tobacco Confers Resistance to Corn Borer显示文摘The wild-type Cry1Ie gene from Bacillus thuringiensis was modified for its efficient expression in transgenic plants. Modified Cry1Ie gene (designated as Cry1Iem) was cloned into prokaryotic expression vector pET28b and its expression in E. coli was confirmed by SDS-PAGE analysis. Bioassays using crude expression products in E. coli revealed that Cry1Iem protein had a similar toxicity to corn borer as wild-type Cry1Ie. Cry1Iem gene was then inserted downstream of the maize ubiquitin-1 promoter in plant expression vector p3301. 4Trace Determination of Zirconium(Ⅳ) by Anodic Adsorptive Voltammetry at a Carbon Paste Electrode显示文摘A new sensitive adsorptive voltammetric method was described for the determination of zirconium at a carbon paste electrode (CPE) in the presence of alizarin complexone (ALC). Optimal analytical conditions are: 1.0?0-6 or 5.0?0-7 mol/L ALC, 0. 20 mol/L HAC-NaAc (pH 4.3), accumulation for 60 s at 0 V (vs. SCE), and linear scanning from 0 V to 1.0 V at 250 mV/s. The peak potential of the complex is at 0.81 V. By using a model JP-303 polarographic analyzer, 2.0?0-10 mol/L (S/N=3) zirconium can be detected with a 90 s accumulation, when the 2nd-order derivative linear sweep technique is used, and the linear range is 6.0?0-10-2.0?0-8 mol/L (5.0?0-7 mol/L ALC) and 2.0?0-8-2.0?0-7 mol/L (1.0?0-6 mol/L ALC), respectively. 8Effects of coagulation-bath conditions on polyphenylsulfone ultrafiltration membranes显示文摘Polyphenylsulfone(PPSU)ultrafiltration membrane with different structures was prepared by nonsolvent-induced phase separation.The effects of coagulation bath conditions(concentration and temperature)on membrane morphology,pure water flux,pore size,porosity,and contact angle were studied and discussed based on ternary-phase diagrams.Results indicated that water had stronger coagulant power than ethanol,and that the morphology of the membrane prepared from the polyphenylsulfone/1-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone/H_(2)O(PPSU/NMP/H_(2)O)system had finger-like structures.Conversely,sponge-like structures were observed for the PPSU/NMP/(NMP-H_(2)O)and PPSU/NMP/(70 NMP-EtOH-H_(2)O)systems.Ethanol also greatly influenced on membrane structures.According to the Scanning electronic microscopy(SEM)image,the composition(mass fraction)of casting solution is 16%PPSU-84%NMP and the coagulation bath consisting of 70%NMP-26%H_(2)O-4%C_(2)H_(5)OH.Meanwhile,the PPSU ultrafiltration membrane with spong-like was prepared under 8℃coagulation bath.The formation of sponge-like structure reduces the pure water flux of ppsu membrane from 488.39 L·m^(-2)·h^(-1)to 36.04 L·m^(-2)·h^(-1).It also reduces the gas permeability,porosity,and pore size of the membrane.The addition of ethanol and NMP into the coagulation bath increases the roughness of the PPSU ultrafiltration membrane and reduces the hydrophilicity of the membrane.Zhenghui Liu Jun Xiang Xiaoli Hu Penggao Cheng Lei Zhang Wei Du Songbo Wang Na Tang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,6:1

14Effect of ethylene vinyl acetate content on the performance of VMD using HDPE co-blending membrane显示文摘Membranes were fabricated with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) blend through thermally induced phase separation and were then used for vacuum membrane distillation (VMD). The membranes were supported by non woven polyester fabric with a special cellular structure. Different membrane samples were obtained by adjusting the polymer concentration, HDPE/EVA weight ratio, and coagulation bath temperature. The membranes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis, contact angle test, and evaluation of porosity and pore size distribution. A series of VMD tests were conducted using aqueous NaCI solution (0.5 mol·L^-1) at a feed temperature of 65 ℃ and permeate side absolute pressure of 3 kPa. The membranes showed excellent performance in water permeation flux, salt rejection, and long-term sta-bility. 15Cenozoic Propagated Rifting in the Dangerous Grounds in Response to the Episodic Seafloor Spreading of the South China Sea显示文摘The southern continental margin of the South China Sea has documented multiphase continental rifting corresponding to the propagation of seafloor spreading.Here we investigate three multi-channel seismic reflection profiles across different segments of the Dangerous Grounds with a NE-SW direction.Stratigraphic correlation reveals that the Cenozoic tectono-stratigraphic framework in the Dangerous Grounds is featured with diachronous rifting,which records the successive spreading of East Subbasin and Southwest Subbasin,South China Sea.By reconstructing the tectono-sedimentary evolution history in different segments,we combine the quantification of the brittle extension,tectonic subsidence,as well as the crustal thinning.Results provide evidence that the extensional stress migrated from northeast to southwest with the progressive propagation of the seafloor spreading in the oceanic basin.Besides,the impact of the tectonic propagation persists even after the cessation of seafloor spreading,evidenced by a longer stretching duration in the West-Dangerous Grounds than that in the eastern area.Moreover,a temporary syn-rift subsidence delay synchronously to the spreading of the adjacent oceanic basin is observed along the southern margin.This observation proves the secondary mantle convection during the seafloor spreading in the southern continental margin,which is related to the propagating rift.Yuanyuan Wang Yanghui Zhao Weiwei Ding Penggao Fang Jiabiao Li 2022Journal of Earth Science2022,33,4:0
